Google
We drink a lot of coffee in the real estate business and ever since I had my first cup, I've been a dedicated customer. This is far and away the best coffee available. I offer it to all my clients when they come in for meetings, and they compliment it every time. Thanks to John, Renee, Michael and the whole Weaver's crew for caring so much about what they do!

Google
Was getting my car serviced so I stopped by for a coffee. I ordered an iced raspberry mocha and, oh sweet lord, these are dangerously good! Service was attentive and quick, very pleasant with a great sense of humor. The space is clean and welcoming. I also picked up a donut and some mandarin orange rooibos loose leaf tea. I’m excited to try it! What a jewel!

Google
I had heard about this coffee and the roastery from local friends and decided to try it on my Labor Day Holiday. They were right The coffee and environment were exceptional , I loved the beautiful outdoor garden and the friendly staff. I bought several pounds of coffee to take back to LA with me. They will ship to LA as well which is great as we don't have the same quality options . Great find!

Dhrupad P.

Google
We ordered one of their coffee's and loved their flavor. They surely have a wide variety of options! An interesting fun fact, the place was started by John Weaver, who was a roast master at Peet's coffee in 1980's.

Google
Great delicious coffee. Wonderful staff. The banana mocha protein shake is off the chain.

Google
Awww. I’m simply smitten!! I walked in and was immediately greeted by Renée and Alejandra. They made me feel SO welcome and even went out of their way to assure my bike’s safety! They showed me their roasting area in the back which was quite impressive and shared some cool knowledge about their industrial grade (and historic!) roasting machines! Delicious coffee, both their espresso blend and decaf. They even have a nice garden area out back. Come support these wonderful women who blend the perfect balance between product quality and customer hospitality!! (Pastry in photo from Rulli in Larkspur)

Great coffee, roasted locally, the staff amazing. Definitely a GREAT local coffee shop.

Update: I have to say that I’m very impressed by the quick response by the Weaver Coffee. They reimbursed me for my coffees without me asking. They reached out trying to understand what went wrong and fix the situation. You don’t see that kind of quality of service by many businesses. I have adjusted my ratings based on their great customer service and the fact that I probably had a rare situation. Thank you Weaver Coffee. My wife and I recently visited Weaver Coffee and Tea with high hopes, but unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. The coffee was so unsatisfactory that neither of us could finish our drinks. I ordered an extra hot latte, while my wife opted for an iced decaf oat milk latte. Right from the start, we encountered several issues. Firstly, they forgot about my wife’s drink altogether. We watched as four other customers received their orders before they realized their mistake and addressed it. The quality of the coffee itself was a major letdown. Despite the promising photos we had seen, the taste was far from enjoyable. The flavors were off, leaving a bitter aftertaste that made it impossible for us to finish our drinks.

Yelp
So I finally got to try the coffee. I went back today and the place was open and full of customers. I was excited. But I have to say that this place is just not for me to start off. They have two different sizes for a cappuccino, which is never a great sign. Second, the flavor of the coffee is not good - taste burnt and bitter. Finally the price of the coffee is way off the mark. I can't imagine the lease being a big part of the expense at this location yet they charge $6 for a small cappuccino and $1 extra for extremely poor quality oat milk if you want oat milk. A clear sign at the owner is just looking for a big profit as opposed to quality in my opinion. Kind of a cafeteria looking setting as well. It's a pass for me folks.

Yelp
We arrived to be thrown off the scent when we saw a sign that said Wild Card Coffee. But I'm sure we mapped ourselves for Weaver's Coffee. We were comforted upon entry with TONS of Weaver's Coffee branding everywhere, including the 32 varieties of coffee that they roast. Alberto was maintaining shop when he greeted us. It was great to meet Renee and John, and have Alberto create our lattes. We enjoyed their exquisite roast in their Secret Garden! Luisa was our barista upon our second visit.

Yelp
When Weaver's Coffee & Tea still had their SF coffee shop in the Castro District at 16th & Market, I was a regular customer for everything from a cup of drip, to an Americano, to a pound of beans. It was a sad day when they closed. But I can still count on stopping at their San Rafael mothership for a quality cup of coffee en route to Mendocino & points north. In between road trips, I've been able to also keep my Weaver's habit satisfied through their online coffee beans mail order service I'm an enormous fan of their dark roasting and single origin collections of beans from around the world. In particular, they source coffee beans from my favorite regions of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Those volcanic island soils and high elevations work some magic into the beans. And the expert roasting at Weaver's brings out the terroir of those islands into every cup. I just received a fresh bag of Sumatran dark roast and before even brewing my pour over, I feasted on the aromas coming from the package. Think dark chocolate, vanilla, damp soil, and leather. The brew was rich with high citrus notes, deep earthiness, and a bitter chocolate backdrop. A fantastic start for a morning. I drink my coffee black, but imagine that some cream and sugar would round some of the acidity out for those who like a smoother entry point for their day. And as usual, Weaver's always sends a little surprise with my order. This time, a lovely card and a sample of pomegranate green tea and some Peruvian coffee. Thanks, Weaver's! This is why I'm a loyal fan & customer!

Yelp
I'd give this place 4.5. Was looking for a latte and found this place on yelp. Parking lot is a little small but easy parking! This place is quite a little gem. I totally would come back here. What was supposed to be a quick trip took a bit longer as I was lucky to get a little mini tour of the back. It's super cool that they roast their beans in the back. Super legit! Weaver is super knowledgeable and nice as well we were chatting it up. I didn't see much seating so this is more of an order and go kind of place. It has a good selection of items to pick up before your next destination or to get a drink. My husband said his cold brew was pretty good and I ended up getting a flat white. I thought it was either a little strong or slightly bitter but will come back to try a latte next time since that's my more of go-to drink (and easier to judge). Love that I can get dragon well tea here if I need some. Oh yeah, when I was heading out, met this lady that parked next to us that said she literally comes from SF to this place to get their 5 lbs coffee. That really impressed me. I was O_O because if I lived in SF, I'd get my coffee there due to all the choices there.

Yelp
One of my favorite coffee shops in Marin. The coffee is fantastic, the staff are so nice and helpful and the vibe is warm and friendly. They have a few pastry options as well as items in the refrigerator. There is a seating area inside, but if you go out back there is a fun area to enjoy your coffee, work, read, etc. I look forward to my visits to Weaver's.

Michael L.

Yelp
Best coffee. Great barista. Wonderful ambiance. Highly recommended. Best cup in Marin County

Cruz C.

Yelp
It was our first time yesterday. We asked for a recommendation. He suggested showcase drink. coffee/espresso, Weaver. The other was their popular Latte. First sip, WOW! FLAVORFUL, SMOOTH & CLEAN!! Excellent cup of coffee! It left the 3 of us looking forward for another cup. If I wasn't an hour away. I would be sipping a large Weaver with a touch of honey. Instead of wishing for a cup!!! Highly Recommended!!!!!

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday at 12:57 PM THEY CLOSED AT 1. I didn't want to do it to them but I needed some coffee. These guys were so lovely. Great service! Really good iced vanilla latte! Even answered a question I had about having an at home espresso machine. I would love to be back next time I'm in the area! Would love to see them return to SF in the portola neighborhood ;) thanks again!

Yelp
Service was quick. Only stopped in for an iced tea. Staff was friendly and was a good drink. Small dining tables inside but mostly everyone took it to go.
google avatar

Yelp
Great service, coffee was tasty and wonderful place to grab a drink. Had a great menu

Yelp
Even though I'm not a coffee drinker, Weavers Coffee Shop still won me over! I tried their hand-blended tea and it was absolutely delicious -- fresh, aromatic, and clearly crafted with care. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the owner was especially kind and friendly. They even gifted me a bag of tea to take home and enjoy. Whether you're a tea lover or just looking for a place with heart, Weavers is a gem.

Yelp
A good strong cuppa and nice folks. Tucked in an industrial area. It's a nice stop when passing through San Rafael

Yelp
Staying at the Surestay Best Western I noticed Weaver's Coffee right across the street; however, although only mid afternoon there was no activity there - could it be out of business? But no - a quick check showed its hours were 6 AM to 2 PM. The next morning we were amazed to see the sleepy store front had woken up and was a constant buzz of activity! Cars and trucks were constantly rolling in for the morning coffee, so we had to check this out. I'm delighted to report that - although first time customers - we received a level of personalized attention we had never experienced in any coffee establishment. Renee greeted us when we arrived and gave us a quick history of Weavers; then she took us into the back room for a tour of their Roastery. We saw their beautiful, legacy roaster in action and got to take in the intoxicating aroma of three different types of beans that had been newly roasted. We also learned that, sadly, their San Francisco store had been destroyed when an out of control driver had crashed into it. We can report their coffee was magnificent. Both of us can highly recommend it - and we scored some coffee beans on special as well. Wonderful local coffee establishment that we look forward to returning to!

Yelp
First time in on our way to the airport. The ladies working were so sweet and talkative. The parking lot has just a few spots. Lots of options on the menu.

Payne C.

Yelp
Coffee is good and caffeinated! Staff is friendly and quick. I like coming to this place.
google avatar

Alexis M.

Yelp
I think having a roastery and coffee shop combined is a really cool idea, and I was excited to try the coffee here especially with the high reviews. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy my vanilla latte, over all it was too sweet for me. It's very possible it was just a one off poorly made latte. I will say the staff was incredibly friendly though and the inside is really cute and homey. If I do give it a second chance I'll have to try a different drink.
google avatar

Jackie B.

Yelp
Coffee is delicious. The staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. I have been coming here for years and always look forward to when I can stop by and grab a cuppa Also, did I mention it's organic!

Yelp
great coffee. it's where i order most of mine from since finding this place on a fluke. not a showy storefront, but that's not why i'm there!
google avatar

Monica Bianca N.

Yelp
I decided to stop by on the way to work after seeing that they had protein shakes. I ordered 2 mocha banana protein shakes. After ordering, they quickly started make the shakes. I was happy to see that they put real bananas in it rather than just banana flavoring. My friend and I really enjoyed them. I believe it kept us full until lunch time. I was in and out in probably just over 5 minutes.

Railey H.

Yelp
I was staying in the area recovering from a surgery for two weeks and visited this shop often. Everyone working there was incredibly kind and friendly. Renee went out of her way to make me feel welcome and showed me the garden space off to the side where I could sit down, relax and enjoy the sun during my stay. The drinks were wonderful! I had quite a few types of cold brews, lattes, and teas. All of the pastries they had were delicious. My favorites were the ham and cheese croissant and the Banana nut muffin. I sincerely hope I will be back that way again some day to visit!

Yelp
Storefront for a legit roasting facility. Weavers is top-notch coffee shipped to connoisseurs all over. The ladies at the front are super nice and helpful!! Lots of Spanish being spoken here, as local workers stop by for their Joe before heading to a job. Very friendly atmosphere where people seem to know each other. Free cup of espresso if you buy a pound!!
google avatar

Evan M.

Yelp
Small parking lot outside front of store. Service quick and friendly We got their protein coffee drinks Their vanilla coffee was awesome- perfect balance Their mocha banana was stronger coffee flavor but a little more bitter- but perfect for those who don't want too sweet of a drink They sell regular coffee drinks as well Small assortment of pastries
google avatar

Manny G.

Yelp
There's only one reason why I come here, and that is the mocha banana protein shake. Double scoop of protein please. I haven't had the chance to drink their coffee because by the time I get there I have already drank 3-4 cups.
google avatar

Yelp
Waking up with a cup of delicious organic coffee is the perfect way to start my day! They use high quality hand-roasted Arabica coffee beans. Their coffee is hand packaged & sealed within minutes so won't lose the flavor & freshness. They are extremely involved in our community. They donate a percentage of sales from their Artisan coffee for a cause. Let's enjoy good coffee & help our our community!

Yelp
Stopped by Weavers for coffee and pastries while on our drive up north. The location is conveniently located near the freeway and there are a few parking spots in front. We were greeted by the friendly barista who chatted with us while he prepared our flat white and latte. We also grabbed two cinnamon twists and a bag of Guatemalan medium roast whole bean coffee. They will grind the beans if you don't have your own grinder. The cinnamon twist would have better refreshed in a toaster oven, but they don't serve hot food. We really liked that the barista seemed genuinely happy to make our drinks, chat with us and help us decide on a bag of beans. I've really missed this type of customer service. Weaver apprenticed with Peet's Coffee founder and is a master roaster. Coffee roasted on-site. Impressive selection of roasted beans for sale. Lots of Weavers merch like mugs, beanies, tshirts. Cold case filled with Dr Brew Kombucha, coconut water, San Pellegrino flavored fizzies, sandwiches on ciabatta rolls. Tap to pay available. Clean single restroom. Private parking.

Yelp
The coffee is the best! Try the French Roast. Their specialty coffee drinks are equally excellent. Perfectly made and the coffee is never bitter. I also bought some loose tea as a part of a Christmas present to my sister. Love the Rooibos Mandarin.

Yelp
A local owned coffee shop with great coffee, great service, and a clean facility. There is a little secret garden area in the back. We will definitely be back!
google avatar

Lester F.

Yelp
San Rafael's best hole in the wall coffee that taste gourmet. It's a little hard to find since it literally tucked away behind a hotel, in the industrial area of San Rafael. The decor of this cafe is lovely. There are two drinks I normally get: 1: The w 2: jumper cable The W: this one is hard to explain. It taste like marshmallows had babies with an white mocha. It's freakin scrumptious. First sip guarantees a smile. Jumper Cable: it's basically a bulletproof coffee with coconut oil and stevia. It definitely jump starts the day. So if you want the best coffee in town... this is the best there is!!!
google avatar

Anita B.

Yelp
I am picky about coffee, usually only drinking Peet's and Royal Grounds at home. We chose Weavers because I was meeting a friend who lives nearby in the Canal, and it rated high on Yelp. The place was kind of a hole in the wall, and they only have outdoor seating in Summer, so we sat indoors. Wow, we were blown away by our regular (flat white" and decaf (Americano) coffees. Both were strong and flavorful, not to mention super smooth. The guy working was friendly and helpful, and the other customers were fun (eg, one woman ordered the "Jumper Cable" beverage), and we laughed because I thought her battery had died. My friend had a cinnamon pastry that was delicious but it's the coffee that I recommend, including a pound or two of their beans because this is a real find. Enjoy!
google avatar

Sophia W.

Yelp
Love this place absolutely great coffee Worth drinking coffee there and taking some home

Frank T.

Yelp
Perhaps the best iced espresso in the universe. I will have to ask a few aliens to be sure.
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
An extremely limited selection of drinks. They only carry whole milk (no low-fat or nonfat options) unless you want to pay extra for non-dairy. They do not carry any sugar-free syrups or flavorings. Perhaps the worst of all is that they were out of ice by 9:30 AM, so not a single iced beverage could be made. This left an extremely limited menu to pick from. We ordered a plain latte and it was so burnt tasting that we ended up throwing it away and going to Starbucks. Overall a super disappointing experience! I wanted to support local/small biz, but this really missed the mark.

Niharika K.

Yelp
Good matcha latte. They adjusted the sweetness for me too. The place looks really nice too
google avatar

Mirah L.

Yelp
Sundays are slow. Plenty of parking in this industrial part of town. Super nice employees and great strong coffee.
google avatar

Vanessa D.

Yelp
This little hole in the all coffee shop was quite the find! It's tucked away between two motels or apartments. Thankfully there was a sign pointing the way to coffee! There was not a lot of food choices but pastries to purchase. My vanilla oat milk latte was delicious! So good! I wish there was more seating area or food options but this is a great place to grab a coffee and hit the road. There's limited parking so just be aware.

Christine K.

Yelp
I am extraordinarily picky about my coffee and weavers is at the top with my favorite coffee places. Exceptional coffee and service. Whenever I am near San Rafael I have to stop! Highly recommend this with 10 stars

Mateo H.

Yelp
Horrible cappuccino, very burnt. I actually asked for a new one, thinking they made a mistake. The second one was equally bad

Andrew S.

Yelp
Solid coffee spot- a little bit hard to find but always a good iced Americano- would recommend stopping by if you are in the neighborhood
google avatar

Masha G.

Yelp
Came here and ordered an almond latte. The latte was far too hot, which I didn't realize and the first sip burned my tongue pretty badly. Once it cooled enough to be drinkable, all I can say is that it tasted bitter, though I'm not sure if that was just my poor burned tongue.
google avatar

Judi S.

Yelp
Fantastic place- GREAT coffee and baked goods, SUCH a sweet, kind, friendly staff - and a very neighborhood-y place. So glad it's here!!!!
google avatar

Jessica B.

Yelp
Life without coffee wouldn't be fun and Weaver's is always a delight. My husband and I were waiting for a car repair in the area and wandered over for a Latte. The staff is pleasant and they have great gifts if you fancy that. We got a heart on our Latte. They roast their own beans there and the guy who owns Weaver's used to be the main roaster for Pete's. He was trained by the experts and has been all over the world doing his wizardry for many years. I love coffee. This place is top notch!

Yelp
The cold brew here is phenomenal! Renee, John and Luisa were lovely. Renee greeted us with a hug and gave a tour of the roastery. She provided samples and even ice to transport the canned cold brew that we purchased. The service is above and beyond! I've never felt so welcomed as a guest in a coffee shop. We drove here from SF because of word of mouth from a longtime, loyal customer. We noticed a lot of regulars here who had a great relationship with the staff. We'll definitely be coming back, too!
google avatar

Brittany B.

Yelp
Decided to drop in after seeing some of the Yelp reviews online, and Weaver's did not disappoint. Wonderful coffee and ambiance. It was nice to see the store owner on-site and she was wonderful and kind. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for coffee in the area!

Aleksandra V.

Yelp
I wish there was an option for 0 stars. So, we ordered a flat white and a latte. 1/ The coffee beans were over roasted and the drinks tasted too bitter. 2/ The drinks were too hot, burning my tongue. 3/ Milk was over foamed. You know how in the latte you get this creamy fine foam that is just a delightful texture to drink? Well, here you get a few huge bubbles that are totally separated from the boiling liquid under it.
google avatar

Alex V.

Yelp
Top notch coffee, and very good service in an unexpected location (but worth looking for)!
google avatar

Andrea M.

Yelp
Coffee and tea is amazing always! We love stopping for our coffee here! Staff is always super friendly, pastries and snacks always available as well as other juices, waters, etc. ambiance is great as well! Love this place and would recommend for anyone looking for a delicious quality coffee or tea

T M.

Yelp
I have driven by this place 1000 times and did not know it was here until I had to get my windshield replaced. The auto shop guys recommended I go here while I wait for my car and I was so surprised at how good the coffee was. I ended up taking some grounds home. Their decaf is good also. Very fresh as it's roasted right there in the house. I really can't stand stale coffee, so this is my new go to place for freshly roasted coffee. Happy to support a local business.
google avatar

Emily G.

Yelp
Rich and flavorful coffee. Staff of extremely friendly people and the place had its cute vibe
