The Best Philly Grocery Stores For Shopping Local | Eater Philly

"With three locations — in Mt. Airy, Chestnut Hill, and Ambler — Weavers Way Co-op is a grocery store that prides itself on supplying its neighbors with staples from local producers. Items that are sourced locally are clearly marked with “I’m local!” stickers and some of the produce is even grown on the Weavers Way farm nearby." - Dayna Evans

Super, Iffy vibes. The young lady at the register should ask her guest to move away from the counter during a transaction, with a paying customer. Just remembering the face she made Seeming to be interrupted by me. The guest just hung out at the register and it was very odd as this none working person stood nearly shoulder to shoulder with me , didn’t speak and just looked at me strangely. I was so uncomfortable I almost put my items back. I was so taken back by this incident I literally keep thinking about it in disbelief. I won’t be coming back. Weavers way co-op across the street already gave me weird energy. Think I’m just gonna hang it up with Weavers Way , how embarrassing!!!!!

Ignore the super weird 1 star review from the entitled jerk, this place is great! I bought two very reasonably priced vintage rugs. I just wish it had more open hours!
