On the Grid : Wedge Table

"The Wedge Table moved in to the Whittier neighborhood and brought with it the best organic smoothies and fresh pressed juices in the universe. Behind the big counter, you can grab a bite from the deli, get a made-to-order soft serve shake, or a cup of soup and a burrito. Everything is tasty, accessible, and delicious. The space is open, airy and inviting, and it's easy to find a spot to sit and enjoy your meal. There is also a really beautiful community room available, where up to 25 people can get together for a meet-up over lunch or drinks. The Wedge Table is essentially a classy bodega -- it's got hot food, plenty of the basics, and all of it organic or sustainable." - Light Grey Art Lab

I've been eating fast food for three days as I've been on a 5,000 mile drive. Wedge Co-op offers so many healthy choices I think I've undone some of my nutritional McDamage. You didn't need to be a member to shop here. I've visited their salad bar twice in two days. Nice fresh greens. Great selection of toppings. Nice exotic selection of dressings. They also have soups, grilled chicken, ribs, etc. They seem to offer different foods on different days. I have enjoyed Virgil's Smart Soda in various flavors. Prices are good. Ample parking. Great place to people watch. Friendly staff. I really recommend this Co-op. You should stop in!

Purchased several items today. When at home I called the store to ask the fat content of the ground turkey I had purchased. No answer and I let it ring over ten times. That’s rather poor service. There’s a big reason why I shop here rarely and won’t spend $80 a year for a “membership.” It’s the state of kid employees anymore. They want $20 an hour but call out regularly now (thanks to the Minneapolis city council and unions) and don’t want to work very hard when getting paid. How things have changed in 15 years, unfortunately.

I love this place. It’s a little expensive but you get what you pay for. They have a lot of nice products. And the deli does a fantastic job. I work a lot, so I’m not able to cook for myself often. But because of The Wedge, I’m able to eat fairly healthy still. Lots of great healthy options in the deli. Try the Nicoise Salad!

Most if not everything here is organic! Nothing better than fresh real fruit and veggies that’s aren’t genetically modified and full of pesticides. Reminds me of my garden produce I grew up eating. The prices here are also way better than anywhere else I’ve seen with these types of foods. TONS of vegan options! This is my new grocery store 😊 lots of peppers as well 🌶️

It is nice to see quality food available. Best fresh juices in the Twin Cities. Friendly helpful staff and a clean environment. Had some Australian sheep cheese that blew my mind.

Love The Wedge. When I'm in town visiting my sister, we always go to the Wedge at least once... It's her main place to shop. I can always find a couple of snacks and things to eat. Their hot bar always has something good to eat. I got a Mexican bowl last time and it was both super fresh, and inexpensive. Love the bulk sections. I wish I had one by me in the Chicago suburbs!

As someone who been a long time customer of the wedge, I come here to get items I need for my restaurant. The Manager on duty and staff Lugi on 2/8/25 was very racist and rude to me. Especially being a owner of a restaurant in Uptown. this is very disheartening for people of color to be treated the way treated me i will be telling everyone to avoid spending your dollars with this store.

Less than average customer service and prices so high you’d think they’re trying to convince you to not shop there. No where else have the prices gone up so quickly, it’s actually depressing. I use to like this place for the high quality food. Now the lasagna that was $14 is now $23, 2024 has been a wild year apparently. I still get my bread there just cause it’s incredible, but I may go so deep into credit card debt I never recover.
