Weedenhof

Very much enjoyed our dining experience at Weedenhof. Friendly service, tasty cuisine and a comfortable environment. It's the kind of 'Gasthof' - countryside tavern one would love to see more: no frills, personable, sound value for money.

Stayed here one night as a stop before going to France on vacation. The food here is excellent, meticulously prepared and stands out also after 2-weeks of holiday in France. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable rooms, amazing food in a very quaint village. Well worth basing out of here to explore the back roads, bakeries, beer stubs and ambience. Get off the autobahns! Get to know the real Germany. Find the local wine and beer fests. It is a wonderful experience!

It was an amazing hike !!

Ich habe meinen 50zigsten Geburtstag im März 2025 im Weedenhof gefeiert. Ich kann sagen, dass unsere Gäste sowohl von den Speisen, wie dem Service sehr beeindruckt waren. Aus meiner Sicht ein Geheimtipp und jederzeit zu empfehlen

War nur in der Gaststube, nicht im Hotel. Der Service war sehr herzlich, die Location gerade richtig, auch wenn der Eingang etwas improvisiert wirkt. Ich hatte die Bärlauchcremesuppe, den Spitzkohl und das Rumpsteak mit Röstzwiebeln. Selten hatte ich bessere Röstzwiebeln. Die Bratkartoffeln erschienen mir aber nicht ganz frisch. Leider ist die 5G-Verbindung in der Gaststube nicht verfügbar und es gibt auch kein funktionierendes WLAN. Da war es für mich als alleinfahrenden Motorradfahrer leider etwas öde.

Naja, durchwachsen aus meiner Sicht. Versuchte Gemütlichkeit, Speisen sind lecker bei guter Auswahl. Leider ist der Service sehr schwankend, je nachdem wer gerade kommt zwischen freundlich-bemüht und barsch-belehrend. Es gibt noch Luft nach oben.

Excellent Bib Gourmand landgasthof, we were impressed, visited for sunday lunch. The wines are all of the village and the ingredients used are most local.
