Williamsburg Pizza Opens a Slice Shop in Omaha, Nebraska | Eater NY

"In most parts of the country, shoppers at Wegmans can browse aisles of wine that go beyond the standard boxed pinot gris or Barefoot pink Moscato found at many supermarkets, a selection New Yorkers have been denied by a Prohibition-era law passed in 1934 that prohibits grocers from selling wine. Gov. Kathy Hochul’s administration has set up commissions to reconsider those regulations, and supermarket chains like Wegmans have been actively lobbying on the issue — Wegmans reportedly spent $30,000 on lobbying efforts in May alone — even as major distributors such as Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits and Empire Merchants have also spent heavily to influence local officials." - Luke Fortney

Google
Wegmans is a real jewel! Unbelievably diverse selection of foods and products, top notch customer service, very reasonable prices, incredible location, plenty of parking, and on and on. One of the best supermarkets I've never been to in my life. Plus, they have that cute little train that runs above that I am so endeared to. This place has it all and it deserves its sterling reputation. Keep up the great work, folks, and I will certainly be back. Highly recommended, no better place than Wegmans.

Google
Beautiful store. That is clean and always well stocked. I enjoy shopping here as I'm able to find everything I need and much more. Staff is amazing and friendly. I always find good quality food here. Highly recommend the scorched salmon sushi as well as the macaroni and cheese with chicken tenders. Both were a hit on a day where I didn't feel like making dinner.

Google
They have just about everything here. I was really impressed with variety of bouquets of flowers. I took close up photo to show the pricing. The Wegmans brand items are definitely a better value than name brand items. This location does get crowded on the weekends. I was visiting on a Tuesday around 5:30pm and it wasn’t busy. There is ample parking and handicap parking.

Google
Wegmans is the premier large scale supermarket in Northern Virginia. So many products and choices within the busy shelves. Extremely great shopping experience. The Asian buffet and the pizza inside the seating area of Wegmans is a great place for lunch or dinner. Fast service and clean seating area. My family and I enjoy coming to Wegmans for the ultimate food shopping experience.

Excellent prices , good quality, nice environment too

Google
This Wegmans is gifted with the blessing of size and also it’s honestly one of the best Wegmans locations in the area. They have so many different products including some i haven’t seen before or at least for a while, The produce and seafood looked super fresh and they even had a pretty decently sized international section. Definitely a great Grocery store

Google
This review is for Cameron in the meat department. I had an insane Instacart order with very specific requirements by the customer and he was able to help me get exactly what the customer wanted with a smile on his face. He deserves a raise & a promotion! THANK YOU CAMERON! 😊

Google
Wegmans has a wide variety of healthier options. They have a hot bar, fresh cuts of meat & seafood and cold pressed juices. The prices reflect the area of higher income so if you’re looking for low prices this is not the place. Carts are always plentiful and they use brown paper bags. Definitely sign up for the Shoppers Club to get the best pricing.

Yelp
Wegmans has been one of my go-to stores for dessert. I don't really shop around the actual store, I just naturally gravitate directly to the large dessert section and pickup a couple items. Sometimes, I stop by the hot food bar area and see if there's anything good. Same with the pizza, which is definitely delicious, but pricey ($4 for one massive slice). They have the basics: cakes, pies, muffins, cookies, etc. They also have the pretty desserts such as the fruit tarts, danish, bars, and my ultimate favorite--Crème brûlée. The special items are not made fresh, instead are delivered to Wegmans, so they are pricier and have shrunk over the years. There is a massive beer and wine section. So many to choose from, and they have seasonal drinks as well as beers from local or smaller breweries. I'll have to take pictures next time. Everything is always well stocked, and organized in their special way. The few time's I've interacted with employees, they were helpful. I use the self-checkout so I don't have much interaction with anyone. There is plenty of parking available, but it's definitely not easy to get in and out of the parking lot during busy times. I try to avoid this area in general because of how insanely crowded it is...in the evenings, on the weekends, during holidays.

Yelp
Wegmans is a local grocery store, typical with all the usual bakery, pre-packaged sushi, deli, etc. Friendly and helpful customer service. Large store, nice and clean.

Yelp
This review is for the Wagmans sushi. I absolutely love sushi and whenever I moved to a new area I'm always looking for a good sushi place. Besides the specialty sushi restaurants, I have to say Whole Foods and Wegmans sushi options do not disappoint, however, Wegmans is almost always 1/3 to 1/2 cheaper. Whenever I do not know what to cook I will just go and get a family pack of sushi, which comes with two or three different types of sushi. They also have sushi options for the people who cannot eat raw fish, cooked shrimp tempura. One thing that takes one star off is the portion of soy sauce, and a wasabi they provided each package.... far more than enough. I would recommend you ask for extra packets of sauces. They are usually very friendly and nice about the ask.

Yelp
Great wegmans. I've ordered catering and cakes here a few times and they're always on time. The cakes are probably the best I've tasted (better than some boutique bakeries and whole foods). Really good variety of foods, products, cheeses. Service is always helpful The one downside I would say is the produce quality had seemed to go down in the last 2-3 years. Lots of parking

Yelp
8 minutes ago On Sunday January 5, my wife and I went to our neighborhood grocery store as usual. As we walked in, the helping hands young man was aggressively returning shopping carts. He hit me with the carts, and I turned to him and said "you hit me." He said "you were in my way." I said "what"? And he said two more times that I was in his way. We went to customer service and told the manager on duty, Daisy, what happened. Daisy did not follow protocol, discipline the worker, or try to ease our minds. The worker threatened me, said "you don't know where I'm from", and gave me the finger. They took our name and phone number, but have not contacted us. We called corporate customer service and have not heard back. We have been weekly customers of Wegmans for many years, but will no longer shop there, as we don't feel safe.

Yelp
My coworkers and I stayed at the Residence Inn in this plaza for a week this week and went to Wegmans often, and let me tell you, if there is a coolest supermarket award, I think it should belong to Wegmans! I'm from California and I've never seen a Wegmans before. Compared to the supermarkets/grocery stores I've been to on the West coast to this particular Wegmans, it is so much cooler and better! First off, outside of the market, there is a fast EV charging station and the best part is, it is free!!! We had an electric rental car and was worried where we would be charging our car but this plaza has 2 EV charging station, one near Residence Inn and one across from Market Cafe inside Wegmans and both are free! Second, there is a Market Cafe inside of this Wegmans. I'm not sure if that's a common thing with Wegmans but, this cafe has tons of options to choose from! They have a warm food bar, where it is all asian food, and soup and salad. Then, they have a huge selection of sushi, rolls, summer rolls, and sashimi. I wish I took photos but both times I came here to grab food, we were in a rush for lunch between training so I totally forgot to snap photos! The sushi rolls here as SO FRESH and DELICIOUS! I think even better at some sushi restaurants for sure!!! Prices are reasonable too. Then they have another big selection of salad and sandwiches. They also have a wing station, all served hot and fresh! Third, their sweets and desserts are SO GOOD! We needed sugar and caffein so few times we came to get Wegmans chocolate chips cookies and OH EM GEE, they are soooo good! Both the Ultimate or double chocolate chip cookies are chewy, soft, and just the right sweetness. They are just so good they are like crack! I'm still salivating when I think of them while writing this review. Fourth, they also have a LARGE selection of plants and flowers. I bought some light pink tulips for my 1 week stay and they stayed fresh even after I left. They have from small to big bouquets and all kinds of flowers. And, they are not just in one area, they are scattered all over the supermarket, as if to encourage you to pick one up if you missed it at one section. Please pick one up! Any! Lastly, this is for all other categories at Wegmans, they seem to carry good high quality products and brands. Their dairy and poultry and veggies sections all look great! Did I mention this supermarket is huge? Workers are also friendly and helpful. I wish there are Wegmans where I live in Southern California. Until then, if you live near a Wegmans, lucky you!

Yelp
This Wegmans near the intersection of Route 28 and Waxpool Drive is a convenient spot for a short lunch break. I like the selection of prepared foods, which includes healthy salads, soups, sushi, and sandwiches. It's a nice way to eat something relatively healthy. Prices can be expensive - a large salad and beverage will be about $13-$15. Another plus is that the upstairs dining area is spacious and provides restrooms. The only downside of this Wegmans location is the parking and entry/exit configuration for drivers. Since there is a single entry/exit point, it can lead to traffic congestion at times. Also, the 4-way intersection that is closest to the entrance of the Wegmans Food Court sorely needs a traffic light. Overall, if you're driving in this busy corridor near the Fairfax and Loudoun County line, check it out!

Yelp
Thank you to Ms. Ingrid at the pharmacy who was on the phone when I arrived helping a guest. I waited patiently for other associates who all saw me I am sure but they were chatting happily away and pretended they didn't see me, heaven forbid coming up to ask if they can help me....guess they're not alone in the declining customer service most places provide these days. It's amazing folks like Ms. Ingrid who are the bright lights and beacons that shine that restore my faith in stellar customer service. Ms. Ingrid is a keeper and deserves a raise and hire her to train the other employees on impeccable service with a genuine smile and heart! Thank you dear Ms. Ingrid for making my day. Sincerely, Fatima Issa

Yelp
Seems they've trippled the price of some of their products in the last 2 years. Same quality, same quantity, 3x the price. Wow. Place was super busy so I guess they have no reason not to overcharge

Yelp
Great selection of standard grocery items. Great options for prepared hot food. Great sushi options. Great heat-and-eat food options including a fantastic black pepper udon noodle dish. Great beer and wine options. And great bakery options including chocolate-dipped chocolate chip cookies that could be used to replace meth as the most addictive substance on Earth. Absolutely worth stopping in for any of your food needs.

Yelp
My husband and I went shopping on Sunday 1/5, and as we walked in, the helping hands person hit my husband with shopping carts. When my husband asked him to be careful, the guy said my husband was in his way, and said it multiple times. I was shocked that anyone at wegmans would respond that way. The guy was very aggressive and threatened my husband, saying something about where he is from, and refused to give his name. The manager Daisy did not do anything. She seemed to be on the side of the rude guy and did not listen to us. We have shopped at wegmans every week for years, and love wegmans, and feel violated by this treatment. But we have other options in this area. This behavior should not be tolerated by wegmans management. Until now, we don't know the employee's name, or whether he still works at wegmans.

Yelp
Clean store but overpriced hot meals are ready to gomeals. People rave about Wegmans, but I don't get it. It's just another supermarket with overpriced food. I can go to Whole Foods if I want to overpay!

Andrew S.

Yelp
20 dollars for just this at their food court. 4 dumplings, 1 spring roll, and fried rice. $20!!!! Insane! Will never get their hot food again. It's rice ffs. Re think your pricing. You would be a fool to get this food from here. Love everything else Wegmans has to over.

Yelp
Wegmans is fantastic, I've been a long time customer and I still gave it 4 stars even though the "mini cream puffs" that I purchased was absolutely disgusting.. it tasted old and was soggy

Yelp
Bought some pies this morning for snacks to be served after a church service. The pies were great but were very expensive - $30 for two apple pies is a bit steep, right?

Yelp
This is one of the most stressful grocery stores in the area. They have a wonderful selection of produce, seafood and meat, however their main focus is to sell you things you don't need, at prices you can't afford. I used to be a regular weekly customer. Not anymore. Upon arrival to the Dulles Wegman's, you will first encounter a traffic pattern that will test your basic driving skills. Between the number of moving vehicles, people with carts not looking and the challenging exit pattern, you will feel as though you have gone back in time and been placed in a Frogger video game. However, if you are lucky to make it through and win, you can immediately exit your car and become an obstacle for the next Frogger player. Let's make one thing clear. Masks are totally optional at this Wegman's. Most of the customers I have encountered don't wear one and many of the checkout employees wear them "chin strap" style. Huh? I know they don't control the bad decisions made by their customers, but your employees could show more respect. Let's continue discussing the Wegman's approach to the pandemic. Not only was it almost impossible to get a slot to pick up curbside, but they also raised the prices on each item you picked up. Essentially, this told me that if I wanted a fair price on groceries at Wegman's, I had to risk my health and come in the store. Recently, I stopped and found that the entire store had been ripped apart and everything in now in different places. As noted by another reviewer, this was clearly motivated by marketing. Alcohol in the front....push the produce further back. And while I'm on the topic of produce, they have reduced some of the "family" sized produce items without reducing the price tag. You aren't fooling me Danny! I want to close with this thought. I was at Wegman's recently to purchase canned beans in support of a non-profit hunger program. I advised the cashier of this when she inquired about the number of cans in my cart. She was openly agitated and appeared to be angry that there were 75 cans she had to swipe. Does it really matter how much I need to buy? If I could call ahead, I would have. But I needed it immediately. Would she have been nicer if she were swiping a pound of French butter or a bottle of their finest $50 red? How disappointing. Wegman's could do more to consider the safety, health, budgets and lifestyles of their customers. If you choose to brave the parking lot, keep in mind that they are only warming you up for the stress you'll encounter inside. They get two stars for the seafood selection, but that's the best I can do.

Yelp
I have been to this location many times. I enjoy their premade food. The sushi is decent. Their chocolate chip cookies are very good. They have a large variety of groceries. I would recommend this grocery store.

Yelp
Very nice place to buy provisions for cheese soufflé (where not any old cheese will do) and TikTok feta pasta. Had 2-3 kinds of feta, plus nice Gruyere, Fontina and Parma (all grated). Could not find chives, though did find green onions. Nice deals on pasta - 89 cents per pound. Lots of potatoes to choose from. Huge store. Friendly check out people - looked like college or high school person getting a chance to earn some pay. Easy parking. My first time at a Wegmans. Maybe a bit less expensive than a Whole Foods in Orange County. Nice hours - open till midnight. Thankfully the soufflé was a hit.

Yelp
A tour guide said this place is one of the best place to work in America. I believe it. Starting from outside, they display cute pine Christmas trees that you can easily carry home by yourself. This place is similar to Whole Foods. They have all different food that you can choose. They have yummy looking pastries that costs $1. We came in a big group and staff were working very hard to check us out quickly. They have a second floor where you can eat your food and relax. I would love to come here again to shop.

Yelp
Rather than venturing to a Safeway, my family and I opted to check out a local grocery store. The hunt (on Yelp) brought us to Wegmans, a mere 11 minute drive from the Washington-Dulles airport. Incredibly convenient to have a self-service hot and cold food section for a meal. We demolished everything. My pictured selection: kale Caesar salad, sesame glazed chicken, green beans, salmon, meatloaf, and fish cake. Everything was so good! We are about to buy our groceries next --- and I'm confident we will find everything; this place is huge! Also, in case this place doesn't have what you are looking for, there is a Target across the way.

Yelp
Used to love this store, but lately, even before the pandemic started, it is more stressful coming here than anything else. The past month or two they have been reorganizing the whole store, they do this every couple of years for marketing purposes, for example, make you walk past everything to buy bread, which they put aalllllll the way at the rear of the store. The orange juice and such products, they moved to the rear back corner of the store in the hopes that you'll buy other stuff on your way there. There are tons of Instacart people who pretty much act like they own the place. For special occasions, special meals, etc., this is still my go-to place, but for everyday items it's just too stressful of an environment. Selection, food, bakery, seafood, is great, but the overall experience of being there is not. I used to enjoy coming here, now I dread it. I'd much rather go somewhere like Giant where it's less crowded and stressful, even if for some items I end up paying incrementally more.

Yelp
I was privileged enough to be living in the NoVa area when Wegman's first invaded the territory. I made it a shopping mecca 2-3x a week, usually some work lunches, and loved their coffee bar (oh and their breads, and pizza, and subs, and sushi, and hot bar, and everything). When I moved away I cried for days about Wegman's...no I really cried for days. So every time I visit the DC area for work or whatever I make a trip to Wegman's. I make sure to fast for a few days before hand. And I get there early so I can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner there...so many amazing fresh foods... And I haven't even mentioned it is a HUGE and amazing grocery store with the greatest selection of just about everything. I mean, everything. Man I miss you Wegmans...2-3x a year now is not enough. I miss Wegman's so badly I think Adele should write a song about my heartbreak.

Yelp
I always enjoy stopping in this Wegmans. It's one of my favorite locations first I'm a start off with a massive parking lot and the electric charge station for vehicles always it's clean always neat the team there does a wonderful job putting carts back in their station. Upon entering the store. It's just a little cramped in the entrance & " foyer"Perhaps they could clear out a little more space Because it does get crowded at times. However, if you go late at night or early in the morning, it's not an issue. All of the food that is prepared freshBecause it does get crowded at times. However, if you go late at night or early in the morning it's not an issue all of the food it is prepared. Fresh is reasonably priced great selection The wing bar often empties very fast. Perhaps they could have a second filling mid afternoon for the dinner crowd instead of one stock up in the morning and then you go at night and there's nothing there. There is a huge pharmacy and the Wegmans app works great. I love that it is location specific.

Yelp
This Wegmans does everything right except for the breakfast hot food bar. The beer selection is amazing. The cheese selection is electrifying. The bakery is wonderful. They often procure rare produce and limited seasonal varieties. The meat and seafood is of high quality and some of the freshest around the DMV region. The sushi vendor is excellent. The soup selection is great. They set up a made-to-order taco station during lunch hours. The various hot food bar stations are always magnetic. The only downfall is you almost always break the bank, on each trip to Wegmans.

Yelp
This store is my soulmate. It's my happy place. It is always impeccably clean, well-stocked, and beautiful in every other imaginable way. The staff is friendly and helpful; the team members at the counters (meat, cheese, etc.) are knowledgeable and very quick to offer assistance. Wegman's is a high end store in quality and many offerings, but it's reasonably priced for the level of awesomeness they're at. When it comes to groceries, they have an almost ridiculously huge selection, from Kraft macaroni and cheese and Oscar Mayer bologna, to caviar and $100/lb hand-sliced Iberico ham. The meat and seafood departments are second to none, with their products beautifully presented and fresh. The meat counter can cut to order as well! The bakery has an almost overwhelming selection of cakes and other pastries, cookies, breads, rolls, a wide selection of bagels and muffins. They bake a fair amount of their products in store, and decorate the frosted cookies there as well. The bakery is also where you'll find them hard at work making FRESH TORTILLAS! (Note on those: they're basically made with buttermilk biscuit dough.) One of the highlights for me is the hot food section, where you can get everything from made-to-order burritos and sushi trays to salads, pizza, Asian food, comfort food, sandwiches, and just about anything else you might be craving. I often take my toddlers for lunch, and we dine upstairs in a section with kiddie-sized tables and chairs and a TV playing Disney channel. The staff is always friendly and helpful, although I wish they'd go out of their way more to ask if I need help. Even though I usually don't, it's nice to get asked, right? Love, love, love this store. It can be a little spendy, but honestly, if you shop the adds and don't get carried away, it's not significantly more expensive than Harris Teeter's or Giant.
google avatar

Valerie S.

Yelp
Way too many Instacart people staring at their phones, not aware of their surroundings. Leaving their cart in the middle of the aisle. It ruins the experience. The produce department is so confusing. I always have to ask where something is. And the people sticking the produce don't seem to know. But I do love the food. Just hate the shopping experience.

Yelp
I LOVE wegmans! We don't really have an equivalent in the UK. The hot and cold food "salad bars" are so handy, with great options. My favourite US supermarket!

Yelp
Dearest Wegmans, can you see How very blissful you make me? I enter, my heart fills with joy More than that of a girl or boy Wandering 'round a candy store Hold up - you've that in bulk, and more! Treasures fill your produce stands Like aloe, mushrooms, truffles grand Sumo citrus, Loc'lly grown berries, Cotton candy grapes, Rainier cherries Veggies prepped or cut to please Spiralized carrots or shelled peas Cookies, cakes, and doughnuts or Breads like brioche you'll just adore The pumpkin roll is so on point, Fall comes, I'd weekly seize that joint Tarts, petit fours, cream puffs, eclairs So fancy you should put on airs Iberico ham's available here So delish you'll shed a tear Hills (no mountains!) of lovely cheese Curated thoughtfully to please Caviar, jellies, salami sliced Cheese boards nicely arranged or diced Hosting parties is such a breeze Because Wegmans holds all the keys: Gifts, home goods, and kitchen supplies Wine, beer, mixers, for ladies or guys Flowers, plants, and décor - all grand Even do weddings, because you can Ready-made meals for twelve or one Sushi, sammies, enjoy in the sun There's seating outdoors, upstairs too! And even events, so many things to do Like free family movies on Tuesday nights Sure to prevent some sibling fights Your store brands are better than most Other products sold coast to coast Free magazine of ideas, recipes Is offered 'cause you aim to please But in truth, what sets you apart: The service, your employees have heart If I could I'd shop here ev'ry day Or if you were a hotel I'd stay Forever, actually, can I please? When I leave I fall to my knees In sorrow for you truly are The store of my dreams, and yet so far...

Yelp
This is a hard review for me to write. I LOVE Wegmans -- fancy cheese, fresh produce, good wine selection, good tea selection, etc. Just overall high quality foods for decent prices. However, I don't think I'll be returning to this location. My husband and I have been cooking their fresh crab cakes for a few years now for date night. We recently moved to Herndon and when the kids went to grandma's for the night excitedly bought 4 crab cakes (which now costs $32). When we went to put them in the oven, there was unmistakable pubic hair under 1 crab cake! Several hairs! We ended up having to quickly warm up leftovers for date night and spend time returning them the next day. Customer Service did refund our $$ no problem but...ew.

Yelp
Had a bad experience at Wegmans Dulles, today 02 July 23- actually located in Sterling Virginia. As I , my wife and my daughter walked into the store and turned right to catch the elevator to the second floor two Wegmans employees were staring at my wife and daughter in a disrespectful manner. We got on the elevator, on the way down the same two employees still talking and standing around again starred at my wife and daughter ( my 17 year old daughter felt very uncomfortable). We went to the customer service front desk to complain and a guy called Mike, told us that he would have a talk with them. However, he never asked for their names of anything else. He took our complaint in a very unprofessional manner. Once we arrive home we called 1-800 Wegmans and filed a complaint. The person who answered the phone on their customer service line was very professional and customer oriented. Hopefully, we can have a good outcome. I have been shopping at this store for years!

Yelp
This is the Mecca of Grocery Stores!! The kind of grocery store you want to take family to when they are in town just so they can see how big and grand it is!! I've done this..lol! But seriously if you ever find a recipe online and think I wonder where I can get that pepper or who has that type of seafood...look no further Wegmans has what you are looking for! They even have folks cooking samples during the weekends and we have come to love "the veggie man" who sautés interesting veggies on the weekends! They used to have a kids area where you can drop your kids off so you can shop in peace but that has now closed and turned into the home delivery area! They also conduct kids cooking classes on weekends which are so darn cute!! They also have a buffet area if you want to pick up quick lunch or dinner and an upstairs eating area! Their wine dept is awesome too by the way! Love Wegmans!!!

Yelp
Re: Sushi; namely Shrimp California Rolls I haven't had anything come close from Trader Joe's/ ALDI /Earth Fare to the fresh pieces of perfect ( almost lobster-like) shrimp and avocados. In fact; these rolls were better than those at the last few restaurants!

Yelp
We were in the area and decided to pay this Wegmans location a visit. I love the variety at Wegmans. Their baked goods section is dangerous, so many sweet treats to choose from. I appreciate how spacious it is at every Wegmans. I'm always able to find what I'm looking for and then some. Employees are friendly and quick.

Yelp
The selection is fantastic. They carry everything from store brands to high end deli and produce items. The service is always good in my experience.

Yelp
Dear Wegmans Leadership, will you please speak with your cashiers and tell them to stop turning people away when they have been waiting in the line and the light is ON when they approach checkout. I thought this was a fluke the first time. It's NEVER happened at any other grocery store. It has happened over and over with the cashiers at this Wegmans. I thought cashiers were trained to take everyone in line that approaches when the light is ON. I wait and wait and put all my stuff on the belt only for them to flick the light off right in front of me and tell me they are closed. Aren't they supposed to turn the light off, but still take those that approached when the light is on and have already spent time putting stuff on the belt???? Also the cashiers that do this are BEYOND RUDE. I don't get why it always happens here. To the cashiers: ask yourself this. Why do you think the light was put in place to begin with? It is to communicate that your lane is open. Not that you are open in that moment but you might close any second and the person has to go wait in a new line. Retraining is definitely needed here!!! Also take some advice from Chick A Filet customer service folks. Come on guys this is bad.

Yelp
Great place. Has something for everyone. More than a supermarket. Fresh cooked food, pizza, sandwiches, sushi, etc. fresh bread and pastries are excellent. Even has places to sit away from everyone shopping and enjoy your food .

I am sad to formally announce that this Wegmans and I have officially ended our relationship. Now, I am certain you are on the edge of your seat wondering what dramatic event caused the eventual downfall of our beautiful union. Although it is difficult, I shall explain the reasoning behind my difficult decision: 1) This location has a terrible problem meeting my shopping needs. From eggs to salsa to bottled water and chips and cheese, all too often I find it has empty shelves. That is just simply not the agreement. 2) Their refrigerated/fresh food department appears to have ongoing problems with proper temperature control and sanitation. I have even seen spilled blood and obviously rotten meat - yuck! The black lining on the cooler shelves desperately needs replacing and there is obvious mold growth in some spots. In short, I need a cleaner shopping partner. 3) On a bright note, this location attempts to woo me with a range of healthier, alternative food items. They offer a wide variety of gluten free foods and healthy, tasty treats. However, that's just not enough to keep our relationship intact. I wish them all the best!

Yelp
So many things to love about this NY-based grocery chain: hot bar with a great selection of meat and veggie dishes as good as you'll find in a restaurant, sushi counter with quality fish, dedicated gluten-free section, clean and spacious dining areas, and a fave for harried parents: a play space where you can drop off your little ones while you shop! On my recent trip back to Virginia, I was excited to see a display freezer with mochi ice cream - wish it was there when I lived there!

Yelp
Four stars. I never thought I would like a supermarket so much. Wegmans has everything. The Market Cafe is pretty neat. I was really impressed with their wine selection. I mean, it's like a whole wine store in a supermarket. They have a large gluten free section. I don't know what else I can say it's like everything here is over the top.

Yelp
Wegmans staff and customer service are friendly, polite, and extremely efficient. We have had only good experiences with everyone at the store. Employees working the floor actually know where items are, and when they don't, they immediately find out and walk me to the appropriate location. This is amazing when compared to my local Safeway! We have had particularly good experiences with Wegmans pharmacy. The pharmacists (particularly Mac) have caught interactions and issues our doctors missed. They strive to find us the lowest possible price for each script. Reminders for refills are efficient, and pick up text reminders include the name of the medication and the cost. I've had experience with CVS and their text reminders - they don't even tell you the name of the medication. Pharmacists at CVS are polite, but only marginally helpful. We will never go back!!

Yelp
I really love wegmans in general. This was a good trip but it was a little weird. I've been to quite a few Wegmans but this one was weird in that it was backwards and flipped so we were a bit disoriented in finding things. Most Wegmans have a nearly identical layout and at most would be reversed but still in a particular order. I mean it wasn't the end of the world but if you're used to going to Wegmans and haven't been to this one yet, just beware that your brain might have to do some mental gymnastics to get oriented in the store. Other than the uncommon layout, the experience was great, the food was fresh, and the staff was super helpful and expedient. I am grateful I won't have to go back to this particular location because I'm apparently not okay with how different the layout is (LOL sorry its too hard) but its a great store and I appreciate that the food was fresh and wanted to buy all the seafood and produce.

Yelp
I can't begin to say how much I love Wegman's. They are a one stop shop for all your food needs. There is your traditional grocery stuff with wonderful selections of different ethnic food, gluten free and vegan options too. They have a huge selection of produce and fresh meats too. They also have a deli with endless choices of meats and cheeses from around the world. There are hot food items you can pick up and eat at their tables upstairs and prepacked ready to go items to take home and cook or heat up. There is a sandwich bar, a wide selection of soups, sushi and glorious hot wings. Is there anything they don't have?? Chances are if your are craving something, Wegman's can satisfy even the most eclectic desires. I do have to give a special mention about how wonderful Wegman's was during the 2016 Jonas Blizzard. We were staying in a hotel right outside of the strip mall area. We made sure to stock up at Wegman's prior to the blizzard, along with everyone else in that area of Virginia. Pretty much the whole DC/Dulles area was closed down for 2 days during the blizzard. Some Wegman's employees were also staying at our hotel. On the worst day of the blizzard, a few Wegman's employees trudged through blizzard conditions and 3 feet of snow to go pick up fixin's (I'm not even kidding, the blizzard broke records in the area). That night, they treated the WHOLE HOTEL to a yummy spaghetti dinner for FREE. It tasted terrific! The next night they also provided soup and hot dogs for everyone. Wegman's really is the best. Once the blizzard slowed down, the store opened for just a few hours to help locals restock and pick up emergency items. Their dedication to excellent customer service and the finest quality goods is something I wish I would see more of across the country!

Yelp
Wegmans is the best grocery store ever because there are food items there that you can't find at a normal grocery store. Also the employees there are normally good With fast and reliable service but sometimes their employees are not the friendliest or fastest. They have really good subs so if you go to wegmans you have to try them. Overall wegmans is a awesome store and you should definitely shop there.

Yelp
Always a favorite! I could have been their spokesperson when they first moved in! Still think their prices are too high but the quality is great!

Yelp
This is my favorite supermarket in Loudoun county. I come here to buy all my meats. Their steaks are great quality and are priced well. I often get the bone in pork shoulder and it's always delicious and also a great deal. They bake lots of their goods right in house and some of my favorites are the pecan sticky buns and bagels. The cheese section is amazing and is sure to satisfy any picky cheese snob. The "wegmans" brand items are often a go to for me, things like eggs, burger buns, pastas, salad dressings and canned foods are great quality and are a fraction of the cost of other brands. Floral department is stocked with large variety of fresh seasonal, inexpensive flowers. The produce section is disorganized, it takes me forever to figure out where items are and their produce can be better presented. Always look forward to coming here and doing my weekly shopping.

Yelp
Nayara was really helpful. She helped me find everything I needed. She saw I was kind of lost and quickly came to assist me! She is honestly great and she even rang me up! I had an awesome first time shopping experience because of her.

Yelp
If you can't find something, you will never find someone to help you who knows where anything is in the store. Many times over the years I've been told "we don't have that" when they do. They have so many employees roaming around the store but more than likely they are in the way if you are trying to shop. I've only recently started going back once in a while because when the pandemic started and there were mask mandates, their employees were often without them. I learned to only go near closing when the store was empty. I asked one checker why she wasn't wearing a mask and she pointed and told me to ask the manager who was standing there maskless. I avoid Wegmans now.
