I’ve never been in a Wegmans before… this store left quite the impression. From the freshest produce to beautiful flowers, the brand variety and takeout/grab & go options — plus the liquor selections!! This is a one stop shop! I was able to get everything I needed and was very appreciative of the staff attentiveness and focus on keeping the produce and grocery aisles stocked and tidy. There was a nice sandwich and coffee bar station with a dining area upstairs on the second level. The prices were also very competitive. I’ll definitely make an effort to come here more!!

I now consider myself a Wegmans groupie. I’ve been shopping here for awhile. I love their fresh cryovaced Chicken Wings. I think 30 come in a pack and they’re very meaty. You can choose organic or regular. I can honestly say that Wegmans has the best fruits and vegetables with a large variety to choose from. They have a wonderful fresh Fish Department and custom Meat Department . Wegmans has a large organic section and a regular section side by side. You can decide what price point you want to spend. They sell boneless short ribs which are so meaty and delicious when braised. I’ve bought them several times. Sometimes they put them on sale and it’s cheaper than ShopRite. Wegmans also sells large quantities of ground beef, pork tenderloin, brisket, steaks and other meats for large families or a party. They have a Butcher Department if you want hand cut Meats like Steaks and Chops. They have an entire section of Prepared Foods for anyone who doesn’t like to cook or is pressed for time. You can just pick it up and go. In the front of the store, they have people making homemade Pizza, and there’s a Food Bar with prepared Wings and things along with a Bakery section where they sell all kinds of artisan, breads, pastries, and cakes. There’s a Cookie and Pastry Bar too. They also have a great Cheese Department. They sell cheeses from all over the world, and they have people standing by to answer your questions or help you with a selection. They also have a nice Deli Section. They have pre-sliced meats if you’re interested in making a charcuterie board or just picking up some extras, they sell different grades of Prosciutto, including Prosciutto di Parma, which is out of this world. They have wonderful Olives, Roasted Peppers, fresh Mozzarella, Feta and more. I love their own brand of homemade Raviolis. One of my favorites is Cacio e Pepe and during the fall, pumpkin Ravioli, or Pumpkin Green Gnocchi. Believe it or not, they put a lot of things on sale. My suggestion is to download the Wegmans app for coupons and discounts. You can also find interesting healthy recipes. Every week there are many specials and sales. This store gets very, very busy but it’s definitely a place for foodies like myself. Everything is neatly displayed. The produce department is great! The sell homemade Soaps and Natural Products. Wegman’s is very casual, and they’re into sustainability. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This Wegmans also has a wonderful Beer and Liquor Department right in the store. They proof everyone even if you’re over 40. If you’re like me this will be your favorite place to shop

I love shopping here. They have a great selection of ready made items. Their bowels are very tasty, especially the jerk chicken. The prices are competitive if you stick to the Wegmans brand items. The skin care section is huge and stocked with small business brands. If you are on a special diet, this is a place you should look into. Many diary free options.

Google
The Wegmans is the best location I have visited and here is why. There is plenty of parking and not as chaotic because it is very well managed at the registers. Every little detail that I noticed was perfectly setup. Every product was perfectly displayed. They sell alcoholic beverages and it was the first time I ever had a wine tasting at a supermarket. The gentlemen performing the wine tasting was very professional, informative and very nice making our visit very pleasant. There was barely any waiting time at the registers when checking out. I highly recommend this location.

Google
A big clean store with loads of fresh food, including produce, fish, meat, and readymade, not to mention a bakery with just-baked pastries, cakes, and bread. I appreciate the store-branded options for greater value, the deep aisles of canned and boxed goods, and the large frozen sections with cheap pizzas and the like. For comparison shoppers there are high quality items here and unique brands you can’t find at competing stores, and the prices are toward the lower end relative to Whole Foods (though slightly higher than Walmart). Compared to the bottom rung, however, Wegmans has wider brand selection to supplement wine and spirits, as well as a higher grade of fresh selections, like cheeses and sliced meats. It can get crowded during peak hours, but arriving early means tons of room to avoid apathetic cart drivers. There’s usually convenient parking and the store doesn’t shank on labor - workers and staff are highly visible and they don’t appear to cut corners on hygiene, shelf stocking, and cart replenishing. That makes the overall experience easier and translates into better value for the price points.

Google
I'm not a fan of the way Wegmans encourages you to buy their products throughout the store. And they don't carry half the brands that are available. Just got a very limited vibe here . I'll get smoked ham, some fancy olives and then do the rest of my grocery shopping at ShopRite.

Google
I enjoy going to Wegmans. It's always clean and the staff are helpful. Prices are good, a little bit more expensive than Walmart but much better quality for vegetables and fruits. Self checkout are always empty, there may be some lines at the regular cashier in the weekends and the store might be busier too so it's better to go during weekdays to have a better experience (like any other store basically) Meat and fisb section is huge, there's also a wide selection on cheese. Their bakery is good but I don't buy it often as it feels a little bit overpriced. And what I really like is the small carts 😅 it's much more convenient to use them

Wayne S.

Google
Produce department is always fresh with a massive selection. Bakery has the best Strawberry Shortcake and many items you just dont see in other markets. Pharmacy staff is very quick and knowledgeable. Dairy is always well stocked, especially the yogurt section. Meat department has numerous items, i just wish they had more "fresh cut" items as opposed to prepackaged meat. Grocery department has everything you as long as your willing to buy the Wegmans brand. I found that many name brand items are not available here as they obviously push their own brand.

Yelp
Was visiting the plaza and decided to stop in. When's an isn't usually my cup of tea and I see why. Staff treated me like I was invisible, standoffish when I asked them where to pay after receiving my 'made' to order sandwich and somehow I'm trying to justify how a medium cold sub and 8oz soup was $18 since I didn't get a receipt. I asked for light mayo and yet it was oozing from the sides, the meat/bread portions are comical and receiving 1 slice of cheese is diabolical for what seemed to be the thickest bread in history. Safe to say I won't return to the location that had more shopping carts than patrons, staff that clearly didn't want to be there and lackluster 'fresh food'

Yelp
Who doesn't love Wegmans!? This one is probably one of the better ones I've been to over the years. It's pretty big and they carry a huge variety of different things from vegan, to vegetarian, lots of great cheeses, premade meals, etc. I think the only downfall this place has is it doesn't allow the sale of alcohol after 10 pm. So get there before then. Why is that Wegmans? Anyways! I went one night for stuff to make charcuterie and it didn't disappoint. I just wish they would have allowed us to buy that rose Prosecco. Boo! Plus I got some vegan mini corn dogs. Mmm! I also went another night to grab some Halo Top ice cream as I was having a craving for the birthday cake one. Great place, friendly staff, plenty of parking and all-in-all a wonderful environment so shop in. Enjoy :D

Yelp
Wegmans is the best grocery store in NJ! It's far from me, but when I have time I make a trip because the shopping experience is so pleasant. The layout really is beautiful. They have so many nice imported foods that I can't find anywhere else. Plus, they sell alcohol! The quality of fruits and vegetables is top-notch. The employees seem genuinely to like working here. I've known people who have been on dates to Wegmans. My husband and I have gone here for dinner. Sometimes I meet friends here for lunch or dinner because the prepared meals section is big and there's a microwave and a hot coffee station. The upstairs seating section feels like a restaurant. I love the view looking over the store. This store just has good vibes all around.

Yelp
I miss shopping here. I was working in the area. I would hand my shopping list to customer service. My bags would be waiting for me after work. The good old days. When I had time, they would pair my dinner with the perfect wine. It's still a great store

Paolo T.

Yelp
tonite I purchased 2 bottles of wine for over 90 USD I asked the cashier for a bag and he said we don't have them I replied at least a simple paper bag to buy same answer.....I left the store very disappointed for the poor service...no further comments Paolo

Yelp
My favorite market! Lots of choices! Fresh veggies, great prepared meals (including ongoing freshly made sushi) and a scrumptious bakery!

Yelp
Whatever you do, don't order a gift card online to send to someone. They say it takes 8 to 13 business days and they're about to use every business day up to 13 that they can! When I called to check on the card they couldn't even find it, then couldn't even locate a tracking number And then tried to tell me that I'm unreasonable because we're going on day 13 and they still have one more day , if I don't get it by day 13 to contact them again. So that means going through all the verification details. And how are they going to look it up if they don't have a tracking number ? Very unprofessional customer service and it shouldn't take a half a month to send a gift card that was paid for weeks ago. This is unacceptable.

Yelp
My favorite shopping experience ever. The staff are so kind and will go the extra mile for you. We love the pizza and the sandwich bar especially. The seafood is delicious and so are all the meats. Try the Wegmans brands, they are really delicious and so much better than that other famous grocery store in New Jersey. If you buy the Wegmans brands, they are so much better than any brands out there. I love this place. I go to the Bridgewater store and I love the way they pair the wines with most of the items. The produce really is reasonable.

Yelp
If you've never been to a Wegmans (are you living under a rock?), you should check it out. It's more like a super-duper market! They are fantastic for their very high-quality catering, bakery, prepared foods and cheese shop. They have an amazing selection of specialty/harder to find products as well as everyday items. I find their prices and quality on the everyday items, especially the Wegmans brand, to be comparable to or better than other grocery stores. The Bridgewater, NJ store is usually very busy but the checkout lines are never really long. I will drive 30 min to get to Wegmans for their "Ultimate Chocolate Cake" alone! It's seriously amazing.

Yelp
I remember when the first Wegmans opened in my area. I was awed by the large variety of freshly prepared food and impressed that they hired an executive chef to over see operations. Well times have changed and Wegmans offers many prepackaged cook and eat dinners instead. We were traveling between Flemington and home and decided to stop and get something to eat. Premade chicken and Monterey Jack cheese quesadilla caught our attention. We paid $16.00 for three and took them home to eat. Heated as instructed and they have to be the worst I have ever had. The chicken was tasteless. The cheese was tasteless. They could have filled it with sawdust and it would have tasted the same. Where's the Chef? We also bought a Caesar salad and some muffins that were okay. I am disappointed with Wegmans.

Yelp
A kid walking into a candy store is to a fully grown adult walking into Wegmans. I remember moving to this area as a kid and not understanding my parents love and admiration with A GROCERY STORE. Fast forward many years and I can safely say, I. Get. It. This place is clean and fully stocked always and never very long lines and man oh man I could go on. They have everything from your basics to those things you think you'll only be able to find in a weird health food store. All of your brands, all of your everything basically. An entire prepared foods section, a wine/beer/liquor shop next door, and the most stocked pet section you'll find. My two pups love when I need to make a "quick" run for something. A short review for a simple message, this is a great shop with reasonable prices where you will easily find everything you need. Happy shopping!

Yelp
Get: Birthday cakes with the custard filling, Cheesecake and the Garlic Tuscan Bread I've been going to Wegman's about once a week for the last 8 years lol This one in Bridgewater is the closest one to me now and I love it here. I've never been big on grocery stores but for some reason I feel at peace shopping here. I know the aisles like the back of my hand and every worker here has been so kind and willing to go the extra mile. Their prepared foods are so good. Sushi is good quality for supermarket sushi. The breads are amazing, my favorite is the Garlic Tuscan bread. Dipping that in truffle olive oil is my favorite. Their cheesecakes are also a must get! It is so airy and flavorful. I should have known anything from their bakery has been stellar. I'm also very partial to their celebration cakes with the special order custard filling. I once ordered a huuuuuge cake for a party and froze it...that lasted me a good while lol I also love Wegman's flower section, the roses always look so vibrant and colorful. Highly recommend this Wegmans and will most likely be back soon.

Yelp
This location is, not only my favorite grocery store, but my favorite of four other Wegmans I've been to. The main reasons are that they are laid out well, are clean, bright, and continuously stocked. I've gotten to know their friendly and engaging bakers and pizza makers. They have the freshest and largest produce selection of any Wegmans I've been to. Not to mention an amazing array of vegan and gluten-free products. Even their liquor section has options few liquor stores in our area have. Perhaps the cherry on top is their top notch self check out option that you can do with a mobile app! This makes check out a breeze and has been especially important during the pandemic! It's no wonder that my wife and I drive 30 mins each way every week to get to them passing many other chains along the way.

Bonnie K.

Yelp
I just paid $8 for 1/4 cup of fried rice, 1 egg roll, and 3 pieces of sesame chicken Oily, salty, no chicken in the sesame chicken, just breading - tastes worse than a third rated hole-in-the-wall. What is going on with Wegmans?
google avatar

Samia A.

Yelp
Just a bought some meat yesterday to find out that it was expired after I already cooked it. My mistake, I should have paid more attention but for the price you'd think someone is in charge of this. Oh and the meat was so dry, not the best. Got turned off. Not returning any time soon.
google avatar

Bill Z.

Yelp
I was in the area for an event at a local friend's house, and I learned last-minute that a pot-luck dinner was involved. What to do? Look for the nearest Wegman's of course. The selection of prepared foods covered everything I needed, from appetizers, to salads to vegetables, to beverages, to desserts. I had to check other aisles for health items too and was quite satisfied. And then there's that liquor section with a large selection of liquors and wines, most of which were a bit cheaper than I would pay for the equivalent in NY. It's just so frustrating that other grocery store chains in my area have agreements with Wegman's not to step on each other's turf in NY... of course that's because the other stores know getting in a Wegman's would put a serious dent in their business.

Yelp
Amazing Bakery experience as always! I'm writing this outside in my car because they made me feel so comfortable. We usually pick up and go. However, today I was customizing a cake for sisters 40th. Cathy came out to help me with building my sisters cake. She, Shelly and Veta guided me through it.And they did a fantastic job 1-You can see the smile through the mask =) 2-We had a laugh, I mean an awesome loud laugh during our discussion. 3-They confirmed everything twice. 4-I loved that they all worked together to help me. Because of this experience, my entire family (that will be enjoying this 25+person cake) will understand that Wegmans Bakery in Bridgewater is where to order their cakes for their kids and parties this summer. Thank you for this great experience. I manage over 4000 employees and I know it's hard nowadays. So Management- Please extend my Epic gratitude for this beautiful experience from Cathy,Shelly and Veta! Plz Excuse Typos

Yelp
Came shopping here to get groceries for our Christmas party. I made it about 20 feet in and saw a rat running down the aisle. I decided to continue on as I needed the groceries. I made it to the 4th aisle and saw a second rat. I couldn't take it and left. Gross

Yelp
Unfortunately all the 5 star reviews on here is what makes mine a 4 star. The store is the BEST, but being so good causes it to be over crowded. You can actually get road rage pushing your cart around in here. That aside, they have everything you could need and at great prices. Their Wegmans brand is fresh and inexpensive. Most times, it tastes better than name brands. I've shopped here for years and you can't go wrong. Only other complaint is that they are almost always out of P28 bread. This is the only place around (that I know of) that sells it. I come here specially for it and it sucks when they're sold out of it.

Yelp
I'm so thankful for the two customer services who prevented me from getting scammed out of 1000 dollars. Words can't express the gratitude I feel for you both. Although I went through with the transactions, your words of wisdom prevented me from giving scammers excess codes to 1000 dollars gift cards that was purchased. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Although I don't recall the two customers reps name , I visited store Aug 13 around 645-7 pm . Thank u so much. I truly appreciate your Professionalism . Thank u so much

Yelp
This is only our second experience with this grocery chain. Although this location was smaller than the first I still can't wait till they come to my town. We came for a 6 pack of water and the hot/cold buffet. I admit we were disappointed that the selection wasn't as plentiful as at the Cockeysville, MD location but it was still above average. We filled our trays and couldn't wait to get to the hotel to devour our goodies. We also got 2 self serve cookies, which I thought were a bit much at $12.95 a pound but they were cute. In the mood for chocolate cake with peanut butter icing I was disappointed that I couldn't find any. Overall I thought the bakery selection here was rather grim. So for the water, 2 cookies, and two buffets trays we spent $33, which is about 1/4 our grocery budget for the week. Expensive? Yes, but ok for the occasional splurge.

Yelp
Oh Weggies, how we love thee. I have been to Wegman's in general - and now this particular location - SO many times that I've decided I'm WAY overdue for a review. I live in Monmouth County but my boyfriend lives in Branchburg, so the Bridgewater location is super convenient for my inevitably impulsive food shopping needs when I'm visiting him and cooking us dinner. I was finally inspired to write this review thanks to a cashier/associate named Hector who helped me to check out today. With just a couple items in my basket, I was looking for an open checkout line to move me through quickly. Hector literally spotted me from afar (probably 20 feet back from his lane) and called out to ensure me he was available to help me. Way to be proactive! Then, to top off his already friendly demeanor, we had a nice conversation about our shared love for the power lunch I had purchased. For those of you who haven't taken advantage of the Wegman's power lunch - you're missing out. As he rang up my total, Hector also talked to me about the Wegman's app - of which I was not aware - that would allow me to checkout electronically vs. using my debit card. Once he mentioned the app's ability to link coupons that would automatically deduct from qualified items at purchase, I was sold. Why has no one told me this before? Or how did I not know about this? I also somehow was not aware that Wegman's accepted Apple Pay, which I use religiously at Whole Foods. Thank you Hector for being an awesome person and helping me learn a few things today. This 4 star review obviously extends to all my experiences shopping at this location - items almost never out of stock, and prices are really reasonable for that reliable Wegman's quality and food-loving atmosphere. I also fully support having close proximity to their liquor store which I somehow manage to peruse on every visit :) Wegman's is the perfect balance between mainstream grocery store (think Shop Rite or ACME) and a specialty grocer (think Whole Foods). If you're smart and strategic enough, you can get it all at Wegman's for the right price...and leave just a tad smarter than you were before :)

Yelp
This was probably one of the best grocery stores I have ever been to. They have an awesome prepared food selection and made-to-order stations. There is also a large beer, wine, and liquor selection. The store was clean and easy to navigate. Being from the south, the closest thing we have to this would be Whole Foods. Wegman's is a great mix of a traditional and specialty grocery store with reasonable prices!

Yelp
The customer service is terrible. The middle aged blonde woman there gives u a bad look and is bitchy.

Yelp
My biggest food shopping regret is we have no Wegman's in Northern NJ. But sometime in 2017 -- Montvale will right this injustice by hosting a brand spanking new Wegman's at the site of the former DePiero's farm (https://www.wegmans.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CampaignLanding?storeId=10052&catalogId=10002&langId=-1&partNumber=CAMPAIGN_55185). I can't wait. By any reasonable measure Wegman's is the best grocery store there is. Recent market research on this very topic agrees. http://money.cnn.com/2016/04/20/pf/americas-favorite-grocery-store/ . Florida based Publix (I am a fan favorite of theirs too) ranks second. I have shopped here, on and off, for years depending on my travel habits -=- especially during my infrequent trips to south and central NJ. I like Wegman's because it carries darn near everything I might need in the kitchen on any given day -- in the quality I want -- and it is especially flush in the hard to find areas like organics, specialty items, gluten free, healthy choices and all sorts of prepared foods. Even hosts a pleasant place to to eat your ready mades in the style of Whole Foods -- but on a much larger scale. Among other exotics I like, Wegman's stocks true wild mushrooms, like chantarelles, puffballs, lobster and maitake. They also stock huge canisters of pricey loose teas of the finest quality -- and trust their patrons to help themselves with scales to weigh out what they need by the ounce. Putting that kind of trust and confidence in your customers with expensive food is empowering. I find pricing is very reasonable on the day to day items (probably because their volume permits it and they don't believe in corporate gouging). Specialty items can be pricier -- but Fairway and Whole Foods are much more so -- for basically the same thing. I just hope that ALL of northern NJ doesn't descend on Wegman's/Montvale when the time comes -- Costco-fying it so to speak. Either way -- I'm all in!

Yelp
Love Wegmans for so many grocery store reasons, but can I just say that they have THE best made to order subs ever? I love the shiny, delicious, fresh sesame bread. I crave them and would never ever turn one down. If you haven't had one, go get one. Now. I also love their Caesar salad stand.

Yelp
Am very upset with your store. I tried your home delivery. The first time was great. So I tried it again and am very disappointed. They charged me 22.76 for muffins. When the last time its was 5.67. I been giving the runaround about it. There giving me the runaround and tired about it. Those were expensive muffins for 22.76. Your service suck. Please be careful when ordering with them. Thanks

Yelp
The best place around to go food shopping. Prepared meals, fresh food, catering orders, good selection of beer and wine, a place upstairs to enjoy a lunch with the prepared food you just bought, etc. Yes, there is other competition in the area -- Kings Food Markets, Dean's Natural Food Market, as with all of the usual suspects. However, Wegmans seems to hold the unique place of covering most of the needs you would find in specialty stores and well as the basics -- which, for the most part, means a one stop experience. This alone makes the somewhat out of the way trip worthwhile.

Yelp
I didn't realize I hadn't reviewed this store. Well they were pretty well organized for the current disaster. They have a good liquor department and had Everclear which I'm using for sanitizer. ( I can't imagine drinking it.The thought is scary).Wegmams carries ground lamb - always a plus.Good store , good selection- price not off the wall - although I've always thought their sea food a little expensive.

Yelp
How can I say this and keep it simple? I don't think there's a better place to shop for food anywhere in this state. Yeah, that just about covers it. Better than Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Kings, you name it-Wegmans is better. Yes, yes, you can get all of your normal supermarket goods, but Wegmans is just so much more. Their store brands are excellent, they have an amazing meat and fish section...I mean just awesome-if they were closer to me I'd by all my meat here. Like cheese? Yeah baby, this place has a cheese section topped only by specialty cheese stores. Produce here is top of the line for both regular and organic. As the bread and bakery...OMG-so good, just so amazingly good. My favorite thing here at Wegmans are their ready to eat meals. I've never had any of their ready to eat items that didn't make me want to drive back for more. So, yes, you'll pay a little more at Wegmans, but they really run a high quality show here and it's worth the few extra dollars you might pay. Having an attached liquor store makes this the perfect shopping trip for me. Unfortunately, this Wegmans isn't close to where I live so we only stop here when were down in this part of Jersey. Damn, I wish they were closer.

Yelp
Great Wegmans! The bakery has some amazing treats, and the meats are always good and fresh. Love shopping here. Only complaint is due to the flooring in the produce section, it makes for a loud shopping experience. They have tile down and when you run the cart over it as all the other customers are doing, you get a crazy loud environment.

Yelp
Just LOVE this grocery store! They offer EVERYTHING! Their food is so fresh and we LOVE their ready to eat meals! So convenient! We were staying in NJ for a soccer tournament and it was so easy to go grab some meals and take them back to our hotel room for the few days we were there. Our room had a fridge and microwave so it was easy to just warm things up. We also got breakfast items so we could just eat breakfast in our room and not have to hurry out or over spend at the hotel breakfast buffet (it wasn't a free one). We also get food there and just eat there quite often as well!

Yelp
I have to commend Wegmans on an extremely good job during an extremely hard time for my family. My maternal grandfather passed away and my dad reached out to Wegmans at the very last moment, before people came over, for a sandwich platter. My dad called around 3:15 and the gorgeous sandwich platters were done and ready to be picked up by 5. They were Delicious and lasted for a couple of days. The platters came with the condiments for the sandwiches and chips. My only complaint is that they use yellow mustard over brown mustard, but in the grand scheme of things that's not a big deal at all. Based on this service, I will make Wegmans my first spot to check when I need catering! I appreciate their speediness and how they did so without any hassle.

Yelp
One of the best grocery stores in the region. This review is for all and this Bridgewater store does not disappoint. I may be a bit bias as the grocery store's home base is in my home town. If you want to experience a grocery store this is one.

Yelp
Supermarkets dont get more super than this. Wide selection of groceries, prepared foods, and alcohol. Huge amounts of specialty meats, cheeses, and foreign products. Fresh baked goods and tons of produce. If this store is convenient for you there's almost no reason to go anywhere else.

Yelp
By far the best supermarket. So many options of fruits and veggies, baked goods, cheeses, and the fish market is always fresh with whatever your taste buds desire. The prepared foods section is also amazing. Whether your looking for lunch or bring home a quick and already made meal for dinner you will find it at Weggies! Also make sure to never walk past the sushi bar, they have some quality choices! And if you think I can't get better...it goes...their alcohol section is EXTENSIVE. High end, low end, craft beer, wine, chapagna or whiskey. Wegmans is a one stop shop that I do all my grocery shopping with!

Yelp
Wegmans beats all supermarkets well maybe except Asian supermarkets. This supermarket is gigantic and I mean gigantic. They have everything you need to get your groceries done. What can't you find. If you are done with groceries shopping then you can grab some lunch or dinner there. Order a whole pie of pizza. Order a sandwich. Order sushi. Take a tray box and make a salad, pasta, meatballs, fruits, or Chinese food. While you are at it, go grab some tasty desserts to go. Take the food to go or go upstairs to the lounge area and eat. My kind of supermarket to go to.

Yelp
Perhaps, it's true that I am a total nerd for being so excited about a grocery store, but hear me out- this place is awesome! I was super worried that I would fall off the wagon from eating clean and that it'd impossible in sustaining a 'paleo-like' diet, when I learned that I would spend a week in NJ for work. Then upon arrival and checking in at the hotel, the concierge told me about this organic grocery super store-'Wegman's'. Out of curiosity, I decided to pay a visit. I walked in the door and OMG and Wow! It IS seriously a super grocery store. Besides the standard groceries, produce, meats, bakery, etc... There is a hot food section that provides different cuisines- Italian, Asian, standard American, etc.., then, there is a salad and fruits section with single serving fruit bowls and party platters; another is the prepared 'protein' section with grilled chicken, Salmon, meat loaf, etc... And the most amazing thing was the Sushi section- I even found assorted sashimi boxes that I've only been able to find in Japanese markets back home. So essentially, Wegman's to me is like an extraction and combination of groceries of a whole foods+ Safeway +Costco+ Nijiya + fresh n easy. With the awesome and reasonable selection, I was able to stay on the wagon and ate healthfully for the week. I hope one day we can get a wegman's in Cali. Love!

Yelp
Everything you want in one store plus a good workout. The fish guy rocks; knows his stuff and very engaging even if the prices are exorbitant. When did calamari get to be $15/pound? Love going there during off hours because I can get in/out: it is miserable when crowded.

Yelp
Every once in a while, I consider moving back to this area just for WEGMANS. The ultimate food shopping experience. There is nothing they don't have and the quality is superb! It's the only place you can go and spend a good 45 minutes just picking out fresh bread! Fish/cheese/beef anything and everything is the highest quality and in abundance! I miss you!

Yelp
The customer service desk employees has gotten worst. With the exception of the Asian female employee, the rest of the women there don't know the meaning of "Customer Service". They don't greet you and they don't thank you. When they answer your question, they looked annoyed. They clearly don't want to work there. Maybe technology will come out with Self Service Customer Service like the self service checkout.

Yelp
Today I witnessed how a supervisor was returning unwanted food from register back to the shelves. It was just past 10pm. Cashier asked if the product needs to be kept it a fridge. Supervisor replied - "No, but I will take care of it". She then threw it at another employee for fun. Of course it hit the floor to be later returned to its prime location. It was fruit formula that kids enjoy so much. I'm sure this happens all the time in a lot of stores, but I do not want to actually see it and think what happens behind the scenes.

Yelp
If you want a bread sandwich, go for it. It's never a good sign when they weigh your meat on a scale

Yelp
I love this supermarker. One of my favorites! The aisles actually have room unlike Whole Foods where the aisles have no room to move around. They have their own ORGANIC section which is pretty kool. They have a big deli department, with different kinds of meats, from black peppered ham and turkey to different kinds of cheeses. If theres a line, just grab a number ticket and they should call your # within minutes. All the workers there are very nice. My favorite part especially is the hot food section which they have from Chinese, to pizzas, to the wings and soup section. Then, you can take it upstairs to eat where they have tables, plates, spoons and forks as well as napkins. They have bathrooms there too to wash your hands. I have a friend who works as a pharmacist there and she says its a great place to work. Their pharmacy department rivals all other pharmacist out there.

Yelp
This store is huge and has very wide aisles.....the food is very nicely presented. My only complaint is that there is a LOT of prepared foods and the prices tend to be a bit high. So if you like to cook, good luck...most of the food preparation is already done. Took of a few stars because of the customer service at the bakery. I've noticed that the workers don't always answer the phones and someone I was standing by told me that it was very hard to get anyone to help you.
