Wegmans

This is truly the best grocery store in the area. Their wide selection of pretty much everything that you could possibly need makes them a great place to get all of your groceries in one stop. The variety and quality of the produce is top notch and I don't think there's a better cheese selection anywhere in the area. They also have a great selection of ready to eat foods to save you time on those really busy days. The associates are friendly and helpful and there's generally plenty of them in the store so you won't have to look hard to find someone to help you find something. Having a separate parking building assures that you will always find a place to park. I love Wegmans!

Stopped by on Thanksgiving to get a taste of home (Syracuse NY) and everyone enjoyed making pizzas with movies. Got veggies and fruit for snackle boxes. I love Wegmans all around. Especially when that homesick feeling hits.

My favorite place to go food shopping. This place is huge. Lots of good options. Lots of delicious prepared foods if you’re feeling lazy and don’t want to cook. Everything is always fresh and the entire place always looks clean.

Good variety of high quality products. The prices for groceries are competitive. They have a large number of electric carts that actually work, if you need one. The store is clean, and there are tables and chairs available for customers. The prepared foods are pretty expensive, but they look good. Maybe I'll splurge one day, IDK.

I Love this super market chain. I always stop at them when traveling and when going to the Bills Game in Buffalo..I live in Hampton and was so excited when this location opened. But during the football season my family has a tradition of Wegmans wings. We always go before the game starts. The locations in Buffalo always have the wing bar open before the games. Since the NFL always has games on Sunday it makes absolutely no sense to not have the wing bar filled and ready for Sunday games. I know they order and cook but I have to order at least 20 and then only able to do two different flavors? This becomes very expensive to get..More then two flavors. I was truly disappointed. MAYBE NEXT SEASON THIS LOCATION WILL CHANGE THERE POLICY FOR FOOTBALL SEASON! Otherwise next season I will be making a new tradition and make them ourselves..

When i found wegmans in Virginia Beach I was in awe. I am origionally from Buffalo NY so it was always my go to grocery store. This store is impressive. I plan on returning soon for things no other stores have. If u have never gone to a wegmans...i totally suggest you do.

Wegmans is a great store overall, and I truly enjoy shopping here. Every time I walk in, it feels like I’m back home — the atmosphere, quality, and customer service are consistently excellent. That said, I’m very disappointed by the lack of Buffalo Bills merchandise and themed items, especially considering Wegmans’ strong ties to Buffalo. The store rarely, if ever, has ready-to-go Buffalo Bills cakes, bakery toppers, or in-store displays. When you special order a Buffalo Bills cake, the customization is extremely limited — usually just wording with red, white, and blue sprinkles, which feels underwhelming for such a passionate fan base. Virginia actually has a large Buffalo Bills following, and it would be great to see that reflected more in the store and bakery. I really wish Wegmans leaned into the “Go Bills!” spirit a bit more. Despite this, I still love shopping here and appreciate everything Wegmans does well. I just hope to see more Buffalo pride represented in the future.

We love Wegmans! We live about 15 miles away, and it is worth it to drive the distance every time. The produce and pastries are amazing. We love looking at the cakes and sushi, and never leave empty-handed. The granola selection is our favorite. We love Wegmans, and we know you will, too!

I'm always amazed at how bright and clean this store is. I only came here for a few things and ended up buying a whole turkey for only $6 with my shopper's club card... tell me that's not a good deal. And they have their own Dubai chocolate!!! How amazing is that?!!! The checkout line is quick and the cashier is super helpful.

I went to Wegmans looking for S'mores Amore desserts. But I was told by someone there that they don't think they sell it anymore. So I was a little bummed. I looked around and found some cookies. They had double chocolate chip, chocolate dipped chocolate chip, coconut macarons dipped in chocolate, m&m cookies, peanut butter, and a few others for $14.99 per lb. I got 3 cookies. They were $5 which seemed a little expensive for those flat small cookies. But once I got home and ate them I was upset that I only got 3. Lol. The double chocolate chip cookie was chocolatey, delicious, and soft. So was the dipped one, it was dark chocolate so it was a little bitter, but still good. The coconut dipped chocolate cookie was crackkkk!!! Ugh. Like dang!! I sincerely started something because I am going back!! Lol. These cookies are worth every carb and calorie. If you have a sweet tooth, they have cakes, pies, cookies, cheesecakes, and more desserts. Everything looked good. I was like ooohhh ahhhh, I gotta get out of here. It's like being at Willy Wonka's house!! There's also pizza, subs, and burgers. There's several take and bake meals, salads, and sushi also. If your trying to find a reason not to cook, go to Wegmans and you'll have at least 10 reasons not to. Lol. I lf you go, remember to bring your reusable store bags, because they do charge for bags here. I also got a summer kiss melon which is a mix between cantaloupe and honeydew. It said $3.99 but it rang up for $4.99. So the cashier was nice and changed the price. The melon was good. A little harder than I expected. If you go inside you should definitely make sure you're not hungry, because things could mysteriously end up in your cart. Lol. This is kind of a busy store, so definitely understand that it's usually a crowd. If you're an introvert, it's hard to be that here. There are people everywhere. But it's not horrible. All in all, good trip, nice store. It's a little pricey, but live your best life... Check them out!!!

When we visit family in the area we have to come here. The layout is easy and it's fun to stroll the aisles. We also got subs that were good and reasonably priced. I think the grocery prices are competitive and like the selection of organic options. I am hoping that a wegman's will come to nassau county soon

Wegmans is absolutely my favorite grocery store. Coming from the north, when this opened a few years ago it totally made my day. The employees are always happy to help. The food selection is Top Notch!!! I'm gluten free and I'm always able to find what I need. Their bakery section has a great selection of gluten free (and non gluten free) options and we have never been disappointed. We have utilized the bakery for birthday cakes and they were delish! The meat counter always has what we need and their pork shoulder has made the best pulled pork! When our family from out of town visits, Wegmans is always a hit. Plus, you can't beat the burgers you can sit down and eat, the sushi, sandwiches...really everything! Plus the train around the dairy section adds a special touch.

Only across the street from Walmart but the vibes really are much better. For shopping in person it's the clear choice. For the food court area we LOVE the banana pudding. It's pricey but a worth while treat. The food usually comes fairly quickly and the people are nice when we go to pick up our online orders.

I truly enjoy heading out to Wegmans over in Virginia Beach. While the traffic and current road construction is a hindrance, Wegmans is so worth the trip, and while the prices may seem extreme to many, including yours truly, the options and varieties of everything available makes it all well worth the trip!

I've heard someone describe Wegmans as being an Adult Disney Land. To me, it's an amazing grocery store that I could spend hours just browsing the isles and isles of this clean, welcoming place where you can get prepared hot meals, salads, deserts, Sushi, chicken, pizza and so much more. The produce and fruit is always fresh. There is always multiple check out lanes open and the cashiers are courteous and friendly. Wegmans is a shopping wonderland. Did I mention the bakery? Fresh bread, donuts, pastries, pies and cakes. Large selection of ice cream ( my favorite isle ) lots of wine and cheese too. If you haven't been to Wegmans, you're missing out on a great grocery store.

I wasn't feeling well today so for lunch I picked up Italian wedding soup, medicine, and flowers. These flowers are on sale for $5. Can't beat that.

When you just want a small dessert at night and all the other places are closed. You can still stop at Wegmans and chose an array of desserts and drink to just sit and chill. Another alternate choice to choose when you have a sweet tooth in the evening.

They have everything. Very expensive unless you buy Wegmans brand. I would shop for their brands there. They have great meats and their chicken is very inexpensive compared to the rest of the stores, but they have everything if you don't want splurging. shop there!

Love Wegmans! Fantastic options, cozy and relaxed vibes, and best of all, they're open until MIDNIGHT! I soooo appreciate that, have had many late night snack runs here.

As a former NY'er that grew up with Wegmans you can say I was excited to have one in Va Beach! This store is half of the quality of any other store I've visited and it's been a few up the east coast as well as when I go home to visit. Idk what's going on in produce but I've gotten bags of potatoes with rotten ones, fresh moldy Parmesan cheese and arugula that's slimy. The loss of the bulk food section was just the start to the downside. No more black and white cookies, no fry cakes, no Ruffles All dressed chips what NY treats are left?? Why should I keep giving them my money when I can't get the nostalgic products they originally brought here. FYI you can order black & white cookies but they'll charge you $21.99/lb. If that doesn't say "we don't want to make you cookies" nothing does

I go here even if all I need are bagels! I love them!! It's a well lit and laid out floor plan. Although the produce is enticing and fresh (we know this) I like being able to buy meats that are vacuum packed very nice.

Had a frustrating experience during checkout. I bought 3 corns (clearly labeled $1 for 3), but the cashier couldn't find them and rang them up as celery instead--without saying anything. Then the manager added corn again, so I ended up paying for both celery and corn. After checking the receipt, I also saw they charged me for organic tomatoes instead of regular ones. This isn't the first time something like this has happened. They refunded me, but no apology, no explanation. Their system seems really outdated and causes too many mistakes.

Always get an experience for the senses when I shop at Wegman's. Aisles are wide and well lit. And there are so many unique items to buy compared to other grocery stores: chocolate dipped figs from Spain, 2 million different kinds of cheese, salad and Asian bars, different prepared bowls and sushi, wide array of seafood and meats, bakery goods ranging from cookies to cakes to donuts and bagels. And oh don't forget the various flavors of freshly made cream cheese like: garlic Parmesan, mixed berries, honey pecan, scallion vegetable, etc. and even different flavored hummus! Service here is great. The cashiers patiently explain to you how digital coupons work. Sushi chef nicely prepares you a shrimp tempura roll just because you wanted one. And I highly recommend getting a caramel macchiato from their cafe - better than Starbucks for sure!

Wegmans has always been one of our favorite stops whenever we're in town. The store is usually a 10/10, the baked goods a 10/10, and the bakery manager herself is also turned out to be a 10/10. Unfortunately, our most recent visit was completely ruined by one employee, and it's the reason this review is only getting one star. While my mom was simply trying to look more closely at a cake for my grandmother's birthday, she politely pointed at the cake we were interested in asked the employee working on the floor in the bakery (named either Nyan or Nyah) if she could move so she could see it better. Instead of responding professionally, this employee laid hands on my mom, physically shoved her arm away, and screamed "NO MA'AM!!" in an aggressive, rude tone. Absolutely unacceptable behavior (I assume she thought we were going to take it out of the casing maybe? But even then, NEVER a correct response). No employee should ever put their hands on a customer. A polite "I can pull this out for you to take a closer look" or "Sure! Just be sure to not touch anything as we will grab whatever catches your eye!" would have been the appropriate response. Instead, my mom was treated with disrespect and aggression. I did inform the bakery manager, who was extremely apologetic and kind. I truly hope she addresses this behavior, because someone who behaves this way should not be working with the public. Sadly, despite how much we've always loved Wegmans, this experience has left such a negative impression that we will likely not return to this location.

Nice store although parking is a nightmare. By all means keep your eyes at the ready. This is built in a highly populated area. Once inside it does get better. Sure there's the expensive aisle, but most of their groceries are competitively priced. They are well stocked up as well. The service here is solid. Very friendly employees. Also they get the lines moving in the checkout area. That can be a game changer. I don't feel like reading novels in line. A clean store and a good company. That alone is helpful.

Wegmans grocery store is one of the few places that I shop, where I don't really mind going out of my way to get there. They are located just off of Virginia Beach Boulevard, neat town center, in the heart of Virginia Beach. I like the inside parking lots, especially during inclement weather. This store is clean, well organized and maintained. They have an excellent selection of fresh fruit and vegetables in their produce section. The bakery has a wide variety of baked goods for every taste. The meat section is the best in the area with everything from poultry, fish and beef to everything in between. If you're looking for a place to grab lunch there are several options available from fresh salads to burgers and pizza. It's well worth the drive from Chesapeake to come to Wegmans and even though you might pay a little more, you definitely know where the extra money went.

Being from Upstate NY, I have been a loyalist to my hometown grocery store, Wegmans and was ecstatic when they opened one in Virginia Beach! Their produce is extremely fresh- Farm to table is what they strive for. They work with the local businesses as well as some classic New York flare such as the fried cake, donuts, and country suite, chicken, wing sauce... Dare I say and risk the chance of them being sold out of that item! Their pizza is absolutely amazing with a wonderful thick bubbly crust. No time to cook dinner? No problem, they have already prepared dinners so no one needs to know. Grab and go lunches, fresh sushi, subs, salads, and the burger bar. Meeting a friend for lunch, why not Wegmans. Have a small study group? Wegmans is a great place to meet with a lot of seating. They are a genius company with low turnover. Create a loyal employee, who is genuinely happy to show up to work. This intern creates a loyal shopper because the employees are genuinely happy to help the shopper and in turn making the shopper feel appreciated. I LOVE Wegmans! I would even go to Wegmans just for a stick of gum.

This may be a good place to shop for some people, but it was not a good place to work for me sadly. Toxic/cult like management, very little job growth/very little advancements and the store was basically falling into disrepair quickly and management just did not care. The biggest problem they did not fix was the AC/heat. Brand new system, barely two years old went bad during peak years of COVID, it was nearly 75 degrees in there during the summer and wearing masks was close to unbearable! Even after the government lifted the mask mandate the AC was still not fixed and I left every shift drenched in sweat... I could go on about the problems with working for this company but I won't. And nowhere else in terms of retail is any better than here.

I visit this place twice now and both times I feel like I'm on a field trip. This Grocery store is amazing. Way more than meets the eye They have their own coffee bar with breakfast sandwiches A burger bar sushi spot and more prepared ready to go meals that I could type out The produce is fresh and healthy looking. I really liked that on the descriptions for the different vegetables and fruits, they actually added in tips such as how to prepare it or how it tastes. The bakery is just scrumptious and I had to come back here to get my daughters birthday cake the raspberry lemon is so good moist and just the right sweetness The wine and beer section is huge it is almost a separate store with how big it is The flowers in the floral department are just beautiful and very affordable I found so many goodies at this grocery store, that you don't see anywhere else i was greeted with a smile from everyone I met the cashier was absolutely amazing even the barista at the coffee shop was helpful I had found a maple bourbon cold brew in the grocery section and I wanted to try it so I asked her for a cup and she was so nice and even showed me where the creamers and sugars were if I wanted to add it Wegmans is a must go for sure! A quick tip Go early they open up at 6am and I was able to wonder for hours with out crowds

The food is amazing and the selection is unbelievable. I was visiting Norfolk and wanted some fresh vegetables and fish. I found both. Highly recommend.

Love Wegmans and miss being close to multiple stores like in northern VA. Very grateful there is a Wegmans in VA beach area. Best place to pick up meats and fresh fruits and veggies. This store is usually pretty busy with shoppers so have patience when grocery shopping. Our last visit to the store our cashier was named Buddy. Seriously probably the nicest cashier we have come across at any Wegmans we have visited. Also try the chocolate chips cookies! You won't regret it.

Wegmans is a whole experience in itself. And bougieeee as heck. From their cakes to their produce, everything is fresh and delicious. There's a variety of literally everything. If ya got the money to spend, do it!

If your looking for the very best and widest selection of wine and beer in Hampton Roads Wegmans is a contender with Total Wine locations. Located within Wegmans it's like a store within a store. They have hard to find craft beer as well as varieties of wine from all over the world. For wine connoisseurs they have a high end Fine Wine chilling room kept at 55°. The room is kept locked, just ask staff for assistance. On weekends enjoy wine tastings and winery rollouts. As well as a part time wine concierge. Pre COVID that position was full time. Pricing is as good as Total Wine if not better. They also have specials particularly on wine and provide case discounts. Totally recommend Wegmans for beer and wine purchases.

Wegmans not only has a wide variety of groceries and ready to eat options but this location also has kind, helpful employees! They can be easily found in each department stocking or preparing food items. They are more than willing to answer questions and help you find what you are looking for. This stands out to me as the best quality of this Wegmans. A lot of times you go into stores and the employees just seem to be going through the motions. Here the staff actually seem to enjoy and love what they do. Wegmans offers cashier attended lanes and also self checkout. They only have paper bags though and charge 0.05 cents per bag. They encourage you to bring your own reusable bags in an effort to increase sustainability. Some of my favorite sections include the sushi bar and frozen fruit selection (perfect for switching up my typical smoothie combination). I know this may sound like an ad for Wegmans but I truly recommend everyone to swing by and see what they have to offer. There is only one in the area though so be prepared for it to be crowded/congested during peak times (evenings and weekends).

Thank goodness for Wegmans. Excellent produce, prices, meat, fish, poultry, wine, beer, holistic health, prepared foods and food hall!! Wegmans literally has it all and doesn't skip quality. I love that I can get international condiments, Essential Oils and craft beer all under the same roof. They have a massive bakery, and unlimited options of prepared foods. You can get all your regular groceries and then some at Wegmans without breaking the bank. Run don't walk to Wegmans!

Always loved Wegmans. They have a wide selection of foods and other groceries. Yes their items can be pricey at times but I think it is worth it. The place is huge and you can find practically anything you want in there.

The only reason I didn't give this place a five was because each time I came in for the breakfast sandwiches, they didn't have them available because the staff that worked that area decided not to come to work on those days leaving them short handed. The Fish / Meat sections are excellent the quality of the cuts and portions are worth the bucks that you pay. The store has all types of options for just about all of your grocery needs.

Much can be said about Wegmans: great customer service, clean isles, great selection, great high-end meats and fish, etc. But here, I'd like to give a shout out to the terrific, fresh sushi that they offer. Unquestionably, they have the freshest salmon sushi that I've ever had coast to coast. Equally good is yellowtail sushi. Next, is the tuna. Now, they also have a great selection of more elaborate sushi rolls which so far, we haven't tried because well, we love the salmon, yellowtail, and tuna. Even the packaged wasabi is some of the best we've ever had. The customer service is terrific at the sushi counter and they will accommodate. There are many find sushi restaurants in Virginia Beach but you owe it to yourself to visit Wegmans. You can eat at the nearby seating or takeout, your choice.

pizza is DELICIOUS.. no idea if NY'ers consider it NY style .. or Pizzeria Style... all I know it be hittin' the spot in a clutch... frfr.. I love how this and some other wegmans have the full on eatery restaurant vibe and not just chairs and tables on the side..like my local store.. the cooks at this location always deliver top notch service and don't seem like it's a bother to serve the customers. you would think that's a universal practice... just visit Fairfax ;) Wegmans(es?) all over VA are always clean (except me spotting a mouse at one in the richmond area.. but hey.. richmond).. and this is yet another location that keeps that tradition alive...

Grocery shopping in Virginia Beach, Virginia... Prepping for a camping trip involves some grocery shopping. My friend had her list. I just followed along. She wanted me to see the prepared food options at Wegmans. Wegmans was amazing. It's like a fancy Safeway with elegant decor, soft lighting, and warm earth tones. There were two dining areas at this location. Great for large families, groups of friends, or meetings! We just selected what we wanted from choices such as sushi, poke, burgers, etc. So many options! I had my slice of Truffle Cream with artichoke and spinach pizza in the dining area. I took the Greek Salad and Butter Chicken with saffron rice to her house, so I could warm up the chicken and rice in her microwave. Everything was tasty and had great presentation. Wegmans has all of the utensils, napkins, and condiments available for all customers. The convenient restroom was much appreciated. Wegmans is also a fun place to shop. I found "soberdough brew bread" mix - just add a can of beer and toss it into the oven. Haha! I'll enjoy baking it at home!

I took my grandmother for the first time. I go all the time for the hot bar and the salmon, but she looked like a kid again in there. She had never been and spent the first 8 minutes looking at the pasta in the front of the store while also getting excited to see the wines and the pretzel sale they were having also in the front of the store this specific weekend. I can say 100% that Wegmans is a place where everyone can go and love and there's always something for everyone. Shoot, even the lady at the cheese section next to the charcuterie section offered us a lil cheese taster. And then we saw the wine taster. Me and G were in there smiling and laughing the whole time. I can't wait to go again. And she told me I can't go without her now either.

Came here to grab lunch since we were in the area. Hot wing bar. I should have gotten blue cheese, but I didn't even think about it. -Buffalo. Really salty. 3/5 -Garlic Parmesan. 3.75/5 Cookies were cheaper when you grab them separately. -Molasses organic. 4/5 -Peanut butter. 4/5 Sushi section looked fresh, so I got some sashimi. -Salmon. Nice and fresh. 4/5 -Tuna poke bowl. Delicious when mixed. 4.25/5 They have tons of options. I definitely recommend, but it's not the cheapest.

I love Wegmans and their wide variety of products - truly, this is a store I adore. However, I have had countless unpleasant experiences with an employee who works the self checkout. She is a skinny woman, probably in her 40s or 50s, with blonde hair that is usually pulled into a ponytail. She has accused me of stealing in the past and is constantly snarky. People I know have had similar experiences with her. I am writing this to just bring awareness around her customer service because it is truly disgusting.

Wegman's is my favorite grocery store. They have a excellent seafood, meat, and produce selection. I can find just about anything I'm looking for here. The staff is extremely helpful and will go out of their way to ensure you find what you are looking for or they prepare a meat or seafood as requested. Their bakery is excellent, everything is made in Wegman's. I have purchased custom cakes and desserts and always have a positive experience. I have used Wegman's catering service for birthdays and special events. I've had their catering service delivered to my home and picked up in store, both positive experience. Their cheese selection is one of the best you will find, I highly encourage anyone looking at their cheeses to talk with the experts behind the counter. They provide excellent pairing options and information about their different selections, where they derive from, etc. I find the Wegman's brand selections affordable and high quality. If you haven't been to a Wegman's before, it just a place you must go to and experience for yourself. Just be prepared, the first time you go, it's really hard no to impulse buy.

BEST.. GROCERY STORE.. EVER!! Wegmans offers everything you can think of in a clean and tidy place- from a huge variety of fresh produce / many items that you don't see everyday- to fresh packaged meals, restaurants, full service bakery, deli, and a plethora of wines and more

Picked up an order from curbside and realized I was missing two bags once I got home. When I went back to the store Tasha helped me and was absolutely amazing to work with.

Great diversity of fresh and tasty culinary treats; more affordable than expected too! People working there are friendly and helpful as well.

My favorite grocery store in the area and maybe ever. This particularly Wegmans is always in fantastic shape, in terms of cleanliness, staffing, customer service, stocking, etc. It's by far the most enjoyable place to shop. Their prepared food section is immaculate and always incorporates the highest quality items. Their sub shop and pizza shop are both great, their cheese selection is fantastic. Can you tell I like Wegmans? In all seriousness, prices are elevated, but it fairly matches the experience and ease of shopping there.

Best grocery store ever! Wegmans has everything you could want in a grocery store. I am especially fond of their cheese selection and also peruse their sushi, deli, and butcher. They are well known for their alcoholic beverage selection, with all kinds of wine and beer. Just a note, there are only paper bags and there is a charge for each paper bag for a few cents. Wegmans has a great selection for every budget. There are Wegmans brand value products, along with Wegmans' artisan and gourmet options, and then brands people already know and love. They even have their own restaurant, the Burger Bar!! There's a Yelp page for that too! It is a huge store and pretty spacious in most areas, so when it gets busy, it's still easy to get around. On top of how awesome it is when you walk in, there is lots of parking! Wegmans even has its own parking garage with escalators and elevators. There's even an escalator for your cart!! This is a super accessible store for anyone, and there are options for however much you are wanting to spend on your visit. Stick to the basics and get what you need for only a couple bucks per item, or go all out and try their gourmet cheeses, meats, and wine!! Wegmans is where it's at!!

SOOOO excited when I found out that there is now a Wegman's in Va Beach! This is awesome! THE best store....my experience with these are from PA. Was not disappointed by the level of quality, variety, layout of the store, cleanliness, friendliness of employees AND BONUS...the signs in the fresh food department that warn people with allergies! WOW! SO IMPRESSIVE! Have not seen these in other stores and that makes this place 10 stars! I was so happy with my experience that I spoke to the manager, Mike, to make sure he knew just what a fantastic experience Wegman's creates for its customers. Janice in self-checkout was exemplary in her level of customer service as well! KUDOS to this store.....and bonus...covered parking. And can I just say I absolutely love the parking garage and how it not only has numbers for the sections to remember where you parked, but also vegetables to note the sections. What a great way to engage kids in remembering where the car is and learning. Cannot say enough great things about this place and will definitely be back when I revisit VB!

We love Wegman's for its convenience, wide selection of products, and great parking. The store is laid out like a mini-mall. Food to the right cafeteria to the left and prepared foods and some of their produce in the center. We meet there in the coffee area for girl's day. We grab sanwiches from the cafeteria, cookies from the prepared section, and coffee from the barista and settle in at our table to catch up. The flow of people is amazing and I am pleased that most people leave with smiles on thier faces. I enjoy people watching and this is the place to be mid-morning. I love the covered parking lot and the greeters. The sheer volume of people is the only thing that keeps me from coming in more often. It is a great place to find hard ro locate food items. Their ethnic selections are good. You will enjoy your visit even if it is just for lunch. Smiles and Happy Munching!

I love Wegmans, I really do but their recent attempt to conduct business exclusively through their app has crashed and burned. The approach must have looked like genius to the efficiency experts at their Rochester, NY HQ. Cull their cashiers and have customers swipe products with their phones fortified with the Wegmans app. Unfortunately, when Wegmans said "swipe" your purchases, they didn't mean it literally. It seems many customers chose to electronically swipe only a small percentage of the products in their carts -- leaving shoppers with an inflation-fighting windfall in purloined merchandise and Wegmans with a giant, self-inflicted hole in their revenue. Well the experiment is over. Back to self-checkout under constant (and apparently, much needed) surveillance or God forbid, go to an old school human being on an old school checkout line. It seems Wegmans was far too enamored of their artisanal cheeses and cave grown vegetables and completely misread the moral pedigree of their upscale clientele. It's sobering to find out that integrity stops at the lift gate of their Range Rovers. I could have told them that a year ago. They won't make the same mistake twice. I look forward to a robot with a taser following me around the store. No doubt it's coming. Three stars for a worthy experiment that simply couldn't overcome human nature.

Wegmans meat selections are awesome and is price right. I like the parking garage in front of the entrance. I've been to several Wegmans in the East coast and I wanna say that this particular one just need to reorganize the produce area and have it more presentable compared to the other ones I've been. I haven't try their ready made food at the lobby but next time I'm gonna try it. It's busy in here and it's hard to maneuver with your shopping cart. Overall, it's got potential, but they just have to do their homework. Re-group guys.

My mom has been raving about this place for a couple of months now and she really wanted me to experience it for the first time. We decided to brave the cold and traveled all the way from Norfolk to Wegmans. This place reminded me of Kroger, but better. The first thing that we saw as soon as we entered Wegmans were all of the food places (burger bar, sandwich place, desserts, etc). There is alot of fresh food and hot food there. If you keep walking further into Wegmans, you see aisles like a traditional grocery store. We purchased a couple of items. We also decided to get a large sub sandwich. I stopped at the cafe to get some hot cocoa. It is a great place to get groceries and something to eat.

No matter which location you go to the vibrant colors welcome's you to Wegmans. Definitely one of Top 5 grocers in America! The bakery is always a first stop which ruins trying to shop healthy If you are from somewhere without a Wegmans and you see one go check it out.

What isn't to love about Wegmans! Right down the street, quality food, they have lots of grab and go meals both hot and cold.

This store is amazing. I had heard many things about Wegmans prior to setting up on Virginia Beach Blvd. I had the pleasure of visiting a few weeks ago because I had time to spare before an event. What a better way to spend a hour in a grocery store that's like an amusement park for the foodie and lover of all things grocery. I really enjoyed seeing everything and going oooou and ahhhh :) The super huge cuts of meats... salad station... burgers... sheeeesh!! On my first and only visit, I did not purchase anything, but my babe picked up a bottle of wine for me. The staff in the wine section was readily available for assistance and employees were everywhere. With all going on in the world, this store is definitely keeping folks employed... I love it! When time permits, I am excited to spend more time here and explore all the different departments. I did use the restroom and it was spotless. Plenty of parking... garage like. Just check it out... something for everyone is in here... just amazing! Have fun and enjoy life :)
