Weirdough Bakery - Review - Walthamstow - London - The Infatuation

"Ignore the name of this bakery in Walthamstow. There isn’t anything weird going on. It’s a corridor of a space, bookended by the front door and a big fridge at the back that’s packed with those fancy glass-bottled fizzy juices, and this place serves really, really great pastries. The croissants have a rare glossy glaze with a physics-defying lightness and the cinnamon bun is the closest we’ve come to filling the knot-shaped hole in our hearts left by the buns we tried in Scandinavia. Like many of London’s prime pastry spots, there’s minimal seating and the best things here tend to sell out early, so join the legion of in-the-know locals for a sleepy flat white and a rise-and-shine treat. If it’s on, get the chocolate suisse—it’s a bigger, better take on a classic pain au chocolat that may, or may not, be the reason you keep seeing us in this part of Walthamstow. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Pause Unmute" - Heidi Lauth Beasley

Small popular local bakery selling some of the fluffiest and generously filled pastries I've tasted. Baguets and baguet sandwiches looked very tasty too! Quick and friendly service and great experience overall. Thank you!

Banana Chocolate Sourdough Muffin (£2.8) was so tasty to be honest, little chewy and not too sweet. Many options for pastry and bakery. The location is not too attractive but it is quite.

The best bakery in Walthamstow. Exceptional croissants, focacce, panini, and bread. Fresh coffee and drinks. The staff are super friendly and professional. There's a small outdoor area where to sit and enjoy the food. Really close to St.James overground station. Try the pistachio croissant, it's yummy!!

One of my favourite bakeries in London - love the savoury options too, pizza slices and delicious pastries. Coffee is delicious and the staff are always lovely. It's a little off the main road so please go find it and you won't be disappointed

Very delicious croissants.. Especially the pain au chocolate. Both beautifully airy and buttery. Not that much flakiness, which I liked (less messy). The savoury pastries looked amazing too but didn’t try any this time. The coffee is excellent as well!

I had heard a lot of Great things about this place so I decided to take a trip down on a lovely Sunday morning. Great customer service. Amazing selection of baked items. Coffee was good. Very reasonable price too. Can't wait to go back and try some more of their food. Need to go back and try their pizza as I've heard it's one of the best things about this place

The plain croissant was on point and perfectly satisfying: tasty buttery while still being quite airy and “light”! Great welcome with nice smiles. You have some space outside to sit. The savories look nice too!
