A great promise not kept...
We booked way in advance (4 months!) to what was toted as a unique, modern style high-end restaurant.
The initial impression was in line with rhat promise. The welcome very friendly, the place nicely decorated, very sleek and clean.
There were 2 dinner options - a 10 course "Extravaganza" for the hefty price of €135!!! (yep! 13.5 Euros per portion, we'll get to that in a minute), and a 3 course meal with a choice of a veggie or chicken main for €52 (14 Euros/portion).
From here on the experience deteriorated rapidly. The service was painfully slow, and by "slow" I mean that we found ourselves sitting for 15-30 minutes between the servings. Our table ordered a mix of 10 and 3 course dinners, and that seemed to be way way over the organizing capacity of the place. The waitresses kept getting confused about who should get what, to the degree that if it weren't so annoying, it would of been funny.
Portion size was ludicrous - one "course" consisted of three (3) slices of smoked white carrot on some sauce, another - a two-bite "triangle" of grilled bread with cheese on another sort of sauce...
The food was mediocre at best, the meat, chicken and fish slices (all rediculously small) arrived lukewarm to cool.
No explanation or appology was offered, we left after4.5 hours, which was the time it took to serve the meal. The bill had to be corrected 3 times, since it was so "complex" to remember who got what.
A terrible experience TO BE AVOIDED.
