There is free parking located right next to the famous “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign, which is super convenient. But be prepared — it’s always crowded, no matter the time: morning, afternoon, or night. We arrived at 7 AM, and there were already a lot of people lining up for photos. ✨ Pro tip: You don’t need to wait in line! Just step a little to the right side of the sign, and take your pictures while everyone else is standing and sweating in the sun. The photo looks just as iconic, without the wait.

Eldar Sagitov

Google
There is parking available. There was a line to take a photo by the sign, but it moved fairly quickly. I didn’t wait for my turn and took photos with people in the background. Later, I removed them in Photoshop in just a couple of minutes and ended up with perfect souvenir photos.

Google
unique and cool board. really easy parking if its not to busy. we took bunch of picture but had to wait on the line for like 5 minutes. the lines really depends on the crowd!!

Shawn Sheng

Google
Iconic sign that has been placed on the national register of historic places. One of the must stop places on your visit to Las Vegas. The parking lot is free but a bit small, so you need to wait a few minutes to find a spot. Most people wait in line to take a picture in the middle with no one else around, and some people do not want to wait and just take pictures from the side or further away. There is a person there offering to take pictures for you for free with tips appreciated.

Joshua Ruehle

Google
Awesome tourist spot for a quick photo. You have to wait in a line if you want a photo on the small hill directly infront of the sign, but you can otherwise take your photos off to either side without needing to wait at all, and save yourself some time. No staff, nothing extra here to see or do. Just a parking lot, and a sign for the photo op that’s all.

Joan Diaz

Google
The sign it’s beautiful day and night. The waiting time to take the picture was about 30 minutes. As you can see at that pictures it was very crowded that day. There is free parking just for few minutes.

I was so happy with how smooth our experience was here, there was such a long line we thought we would be here for hours but their was a photographer there that had a iPad I believe and bumped our group of 28 up to the front. Our pictures came out amazing, and she only accepted donations.

Wow, I finally crossed this off my bucket list. We took a party bus to see the sign at night and was a little surprised how small it was....I thought it was this gigantic sign, but it's still big for what it is. There's a historical plaque I was able to snag a picture of that's pretty neat. It's just a great icon that everyone should take a visit to see, especially at night.

Yelp
For all the times I've been to Vegas I've never been here. I stopped here at night because one of my friends wanted to. They have a parking lot which is helpful. It was fairly busy and there was no rhyme or reason for taking pictures without other people in them. We lucked out as there was a photographer there who offered to take our pics and send them to us, free of charge but tips are welcome. We were skeptical but did it and did not regret it! She took fantastic photos of us in several different poses. She knew exactly where we could stand without getting others in our pics, and she was SO funny! If you encounter one of these photogs I'd recommend, because the pics will be way better!

Yelp
Since it my first time in Vegas, it goes without saying that I paid a visit to the famous Welcome to Last Vegas Sign. It welcomes people into the city and its image has become not only synonymous with the city but also with American pop culture. Part of this has to do with the fact that the sign was never copyrighted, so anyone could reproduce it. I finished lunch and had time before my evening plans, so I decided to walk south to check it out. The sign is located on the south end of the Strip; I was staying at the Wynn which was more on north-central, and it took me well over an hour to walk there. All good though, since I enjoy walking and wanted to soak in the Strip. Anyway, when I arrived I was looking around for the sign but couldn't find it - eventually I saw a crowd of people and realized the sign was there. Why did I miss it at first? Well, because it was way smaller than I expected. I was thinking it was a large sign with a grand presence, but it really wasn't. It was quite small and not far off the ground - which I found odd for something meant to be seen while driving. I snapped a couple of pictures and then went on my way. Overall though, it's such an iconic piece of pop culture that I do feel it's well worth seeing - especially if it's your first time in Vegas.

Yelp
If you're in Vegas you have to check out the welcome to Las Vegas sign. It will be one of the things you need to do if you're there as a tourist. We have been to Vegas many times as we have family there but this is the first time we brought others with us who have never been and we decided to stop by this area for a photo op. We went at night and there was a small line to take pics in front of it. There are photographers there and one of them made some kind suggestions but i actually preferred the pics that we took without her suggestions better for some reason. We assisted the couple in front of us with their photos and they assisted us with our photos. There is plenty of parking in the lot. It's a fun place for the experience and for photos. You will not regret stopping by.

Yelp
The classic must-do thing when you come to Vegas! You simply can't come to Vegas and not come take pictures at the sign. If it's your first time, or even 20th time, its a standard. The sign is on the south end of the strip, there's street parking around the area, but it's walking distance as most attractions are. Lines are typically short, but the few times I've been, other people do give you the opportunity to take your pictures and have your few moments to shine. It's very exiting visiting the sign! And it's totally free!
google avatar

Jim M.

Yelp
We got there around 9 am and the line was about 20 folks. There was a photographer there taking pictures for tips which made it convenient for us others were able to take their pictures on their own. Need to go early as it gets pretty hot quick.
google avatar

Paul C.

Yelp
There is not really to much to say about coming to see this sign. It's world famous of course. It's a must if you come to Vegas. Parking lot is kind of small but the traffic keeps moving since it's just a quick photo op. If you go to Vegas, go see the sign lol!
google avatar

Yelp
My 500th review, this historical landmark sign is a must do, when visiting Vegas. Should be on your bucket list, in my opinion. This well-maintained sign is worth doing once. Was it crowded??? Yes! Parking can be a hit or miss. But there's something so special about this sign. Colorful and vibrant! I hope they will NEVER take it away! After all, what would Vegas really be without it??? A fun and historic experience! Check it out! I LOVED it! Cheers and Enjoy, Yelpers!!! Viva Las Vegas!!!

Yelp
Our most recent trip to Las Vegas allowed us to revisit some of our past time favorites and also cross off a few of our Las Vegas bucket list experiences. I remember being curious about this sign about 19 years ago, but never had the time or opportunity to visit. We were thrilled to see it this go round. When we arrived there is a narrow, yet sufficient parking lot just in front of the sign. There was a small line of tourists waiting for their change to get front row and center for the perfect photo op. We did not have time to wait in the line so we sort of stood off to the side for our shots and then hopped back into the car. Very much so worth the drive if you have access to a vehicle. If we had to uber, I'd probably skip it.
google avatar

Erich L.

Yelp
This is a fun free thing to do. There is a decent sized parking lot but you have to wait in line that can be an hour easily. People are there to help take your photo and expect a tip. Just be prepared if the sun is strong it can be a difficult wait in line.
google avatar

Mae D.

Yelp
It seems like a well maintained area and there is free parking right next to it. We went on a summer Tuesday morning at 9 am and there were already approximately 40 people in line. The parking lot receives really hot exhaust/wind from the planes across the street, so that was unpleasant when exiting the car. I can't give feedback on how timely the line moved because we decided to take our pictures while standing off to the side of the line. There is no shade so pls be prepared for the extreme summer heat. Maybe bring your own selfie sticks or tripods to take pictures if you don't want strangers handling your phone. Good luck!
google avatar

Drizza N.

Yelp
Thank you to the photo person that allowed us to skip the line and take Pics for tips
google avatar

Yelp
So this sign is a bit of a tourist trap and not. Tourist trap bc it's small and you'll stand in line to get a photo. There are a couple of photographers that will take your photo for you for a tip. Now you don't have to stand in line and you don't have to use them. But if you do, they'll actually do a decent job and your photos will look better than a selfie. It's your choice. Go there once to experience it.
google avatar

Erik G.

Yelp
Been to Vegas before, but it was my first time seeing the sign. The sign looks better on its own with the lights at night. However, if you want to take a picture in front of the sign, it will look better in the daytime. I'm really into neon signs and the Las Vegas sign is truly magnificent to see up close. As I mentioned previously, come during the day to take pictures with the sign and come back at night to take in the beauty of the sign lit up. That's my 2 cents!
google avatar

Andrew S.

Yelp
"I saw the sign, and it opened up my mind" or so the song says! Well okay, seeing this is not quite a majorly mind-altering experience, but it is the classic and iconic Las Vegas Sign and a must-see for anyone visiting our fabulous city. Getting a picture in front of the sign is just what everyone has to do at least once. Many of the bus tours from the strip to places like the Hoover dam or Area 51 include this as a quick stop as part of the tour, which is an easy way to make sure this is in your itinerary when visiting Las Vegas. However, you should be aware that with multiple busses stopping here at peak times of the day, it can be busy and require some patience to get your pictures in. If you're not doing a tour, the best time to go is early morning when it isn't as busy. Of course you can go at night too and see it all lit up, but for the best pictures best to do them in the daylight in my opinion. In conclusion - if it's your first time to Vegas, be sure to see this so you too can add yourself to the millions who can truly claim...."I saw the sign"!
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
I've been to Las Vegas numerous times but this was my first time to the 'Welcome to Las Vegas Sign.' I really wasn't all that jazzed to go but once we got here I realized it's a cute photo opp and really iconic. There was a little line and when it's your turn you take a minute and snap your photos. There are parking spaces and whatnot to pull into. This is a worthwhile stop! Also it's one of the only things in this town that is free!
google avatar

Cynthia V.

Yelp
In my book, this was a must-do: I feel like you have to see one of the most famous signs in the world in person. Prepare for a line - I am sure it isn't bad earlier in the morning but when I got there around 10am it was easily 100+ people long. There is a parking lot available, but I chose to Uber and that was very simple. Iconic - I am glad I came to see it for myself!
google avatar

Amber P.

Yelp
Cool place. Get the person behind you to take your pic, there is someone there offering to take your picture (with your phone), but will charge you.
google avatar

Carmi A.

Yelp
Beautiful safe and free attraction located right outside the airport located across the street from a golf course
google avatar

Will M.

Yelp
Happy I saw the famous sign when I was in town but I wouldn't go back a second time. Sign was smaller than expected. It was pedestrian friendly and had good parking. It was also a few mile walk from the casinos on the strip.
google avatar

Janie D.

Yelp
Ignore the bad reviews; this iconic sign is a great photo op. Located in the middle of the road on a grassy median, visiting the sign requires you to drive into and/or park in the paved area of the median. There is a decent amount of parking, and I had no trouble being dropped off and picked up by an Uber. Early arrival is suggested, but if you visit in the middle of the day like I did, it will of course be more crowded. I arrived at 10am, and there were about 50 people in line for an unobstructed shot front and center. There was a "professional" photographer offering to take people's photos for a fee. Instead of waiting in the long line, I stood off to one side, and managed to get plenty of nice photos with no one in the background, and without getting in anyone else's way. It was a chaotic experience, but with a little patience, I got some great photos. I will come back late at night next time.
google avatar

Isaac A.

Yelp
I've only ever come in from the airport and never went past the sign. There's a parking lot there and there were busloads of people. We walked down from the strip and it was so far away from almost everything, but it was good to see (no chance of getting a photo in front of it on this visit though) and let us go by the Harley Davidson and Pinball Hall of Fame there. It's a thing I'd only do once.
google avatar

Astrida M.

Yelp
We simply had to do this #1 touristy thing while in Vegas. I wanted to do this when I turned 21 and was visiting Vegas a few years ago, but there was no place to park back then. You had to take your life into your hands, crossing the Boulevard to get to it. Now it's a different story. It is registered as a historical sign with the National Register of Historic Places! It has a parking lot for the thousands of tourists that want to take a picture with it, just like my daughter and I did. I'm now crossing it off my bucket list. Done.
google avatar

Ellen W.

Yelp
It's a great iconic place to go. Only minutes from the airport. Definitely do it at night though.
google avatar

Mary Lou S.

Yelp
A fun stop when in Vegas. A pic by the Welcome to Las Vegas sign makes for a great memory. The line gets long, so be prepared for a wait. Also the parking lot gets filled up. You can usually get your picture taken with Elvis in it or you and your group can take your own pics. It's a nice pic in the daytime to see everyone's face, but it's also cool at night when you see it all lit up.
google avatar

Chris G.

Yelp
I always jog here during my visits to Vegas, regardless of where I'm staying. I start every morning with 4 miles, so I usually get to the sign between 7-9am when it is not really that crowded. What else can you say, this is an ICONIC picture spot. How else can you describe a sign that millions have seen on their way into this famed city of sin. The city has even built a small median area to park at so you can take pictures of it. IF you are lucky, you will find Elvis signing during your visit, which elevates the experience. When I see this sign while driving into town I imagine all the gambling, money, drinking, craziness, and fun I am about to have. #VEGAS
google avatar

Marjorie H.

Yelp
It was an unexpected stop on our way out of town for our tour. But the picture spot is on point. Truly, you can't get a bad angle!
google avatar

Alan C.

Yelp
I was doing an "area 51 tour", and we stopped here before we headed north. When we were at the sign, there was quite a bit of a line to get the photos, and "Vegas fat Elvis" was at the front of the line, to either get a picture with you, or to take a picture for you. (at a fee, of course...) We didn't wait in the line. What we did, was we stood off to the corner of the sign, and our tour guide took the picture. That's what I would've done anyway if I was by myself, as that's what the Vegas pages on the Internet suggested to do. And I'm sure I would've figured it out by myself, anyway. You get just as good of a picture from an angle.... I'm glad I went. I've been to Vegas several times, but have never been here. So, I finally ticked another thing off of my "Vegas bucket list." It's worth the stop.
google avatar

Deana C.

Yelp
This is definitely not the Vegas my parents visited on their anniversary aka my birthday. Extremely overrated, overcrowded, and absolutely overpriced!
google avatar

Mohammed N.

Yelp
Pretty cool sign to see. Pretty cool stuff. Good place to take photos and video pretty cool
google avatar

Eleana S.

Yelp
Fabulous Las Vegas is truly fabulous! This is my third time here, and I feel really special with my b team. There are many new people willing to capture our memorable photos and videos, and you can tip them anytime! No need to wait in line. or if you don't need to tip then line hehe! Just drink a lot of water because it is really hot when it's summer!
google avatar

Lesley M.

Yelp
Must do attraction for your first time visiting Vegas in my opinion. We waited in line, snagged some photos with the help of the girl volunteering to help, and then headed to our next attraction. The girl standing by asked for tips but wasn't demanding. The sign is easy to access and has numerous parking spots available. The sign appears to be taken care of, and there's a few stores to walk to close by.
google avatar

Travis T.

Yelp
You can't come to Vegas and not get your picture in front of this iconic sign. The "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign has stood here since 1959. It stands 25 feet tall and is located on the southern end of the Las Vegas strip on a medium. Over a decade ago, City of Las Vegas added parking so people no longer have to cross the road to get to it. Even though the improvements have helped, it did create enough space for even more people to visit the sign. The line to get your photo can get pretty long. This sign is so popular that souvenirs of it are sold all over Vegas. Even though most people get their photo in front of the sign, most never notice the back of it. It reads "Drive Carefully, Come Back Soon". The top of the sign has white neon circles that were designed to represent silver dollars. Nevada is known as the Silver State. The "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign was added to the State Register of Historic Places in 2013.
google avatar

Vanessa O.

Yelp
Prepare to stand in line if you want an upfront shot of the sign. Otherwise, you may dodge the main line and get on either side for an angle shot. There is a small parking lot but it might take a while to get in or even find a spot. Walking or getting dropped off may be best... Welcome to Vegas!
google avatar

Cassandra S.

Yelp
Very clean atmosphere I highly recommend taking a photo on the sides and not waiting in the long line! Just as great but less time!
google avatar

Rose W.

Yelp
This is a must in your visiting Vegas! There are people that will take pictures for you but they do go off of tips. They'll take plenty of pictures and send them to you!
google avatar

Harlee S.

Yelp
The number of times I've been to Vegas and have never visited the iconic sign is shameful. Came around sunrise and only ran into about two other groups. If you're not into long lines for picture taking, this is the best time to come since most everyone is sleeping off a hangover. This sign is iconic, but really only worth a one-time visit or even just a drive past. It's super fun for creative picture taking, though, and to show off that you're in Vegas!
google avatar

Clinton B.

Yelp
The famous Las Vegas sign! My wife and I came here for our 1 year married anniversary/Honeymoon and we really enjoyed Vegas! The line was pretty long here and people from all over the world was here to take pics but you can definitely walk up to the side of the sign and take just as good of a pic compared to standing directly in front of it! Definitely have to come to this sign if your visiting Vegas!
google avatar

Kimberly Z.

Yelp
Iconic sign. Very windy over here and cars driving by fast on both sides. Not a lot of parking, but the deux bus stops here going into and from the strip. Lots of ppl were there but there was an orderly line to take pics
google avatar

Travis P.

Yelp
This spot shouldn't be missed if you're visiting Vegas. They have a small parking lot that fills up but a lot of spaces open up since people are coming and leaving. We took some wedding photos here and it came out amazing. There are sometimes photographers that will take pictures for you for like $10. Expect maybe a 30 minute wait for a Saturday afternoon. 100% worth waiting if you can!
google avatar

Emily L.

Yelp
there was a massive line of people wanting to take pictures which was a little annoying but understandable. I kind of wish the sign was bigger.
google avatar

Stephanie A.

Yelp
You can park close to take a photo of the Last Vegas sign. It's free to take a photo. When I went at night someone offered to take professional photos. Of course, they go off tips, which to me is worth it. My photos came out beautiful.
google avatar

Mark N. T.

Yelp
I gave it 5 stars because it's free! lol. It was located far from the center of the Strip. If you stay Luxor, you may walk. I used Deuce bus. There were a lot of people. I saw some parking spots, but no one could guarantee your spot.Deuce bus is a better way to go. Someone offered to take a picture. Later, I heard that they asked people to pay tips aggressively after the photo shoot! There are a lot of scams and rip off in this sin city! Anyway, here is a must-visit place!
google avatar

Ron H.

Yelp
Iconic.... Be Very careful Sign is located in median strip, and folks are crossing hwy without benefit of crosswalks Take 5 minutes for this experience or wait until departing at Harry Reid and take a jpg of their sign
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
The iconic Welcome to Las Vegas sign! Be prepared. Sometimes nobody is there and other times there is a long line.
google avatar

Britney M.

Yelp
In reality is just a sign. I really don't understand people's obsession with it lol I mean okayyyy, it's the welcome to Vegas sign. It tells you that you have made it to Las Vegas Nevada, where you are going to commit multiple sins lol So go on, continue boasting about making it to the city of Sin. Take your selfies. Don't forget the selfie sticks. Celebrate the copious amounts of alcoholic beverages you are about to have and all the money you are going to gamble away soon lol I will not be posting a selfie standing in-front of this sign...lol However, I regret to admit that I have been here and stood there dumb founded by how excited people get over it. Still surprises me.
google avatar

Katy P.

Yelp
This place has really changed since the last time I visited. I know that it has been a hot minute since I last attempt to get a picture here but WOW.... There is now a parking lot with a pretty good amount of stalls so we were able to pull right into a stall. That was great, BUT OMG the line to just take your picture below the sign was crazy mad. Not sure if it was the time we arrived or it's just always busy. My suggestion is to go early in the morning before the crowds of later at night when the bright lights are on since it is open 24 hours. Good luck getting a great picture....
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
Seriously there a line for this? Ok I'm not going to lie, there's a difference between getting a magnet and having a picture in front of the sign. But I didn't expect a long line or someone scamming to take you to the front of the line and take pics for money. FYI the scammer actually takes you for a side picture with the sign and not fully in front and holds your phone for money. There's one born every min. There's a small parking lot to pull into but beware the exit leads straight to a major road with heavy speeding traffic. This day there were a couple of venders. One selling drinks and snacks and the other small LV trinkets. The line moved quick with people helping other groups take their picture. The guy behind me took our pictures and did great job and I offered to take his. Overall four stars. It was quick and easy and let's say nice to get a piece of history in the background. Not quite five stars because of the scammer. Now excuse me, where's that Hollywood sign?!?!? M
google avatar

Jeremy J.

Yelp
Viva Las Vegas Viva Las Vegas Viva Las Vegas goodness! We had a great time checking out all the public are in memorials air in Vegas so we have an excellent time finding this welcome to Las Vegas sign we didn't stand in the line that came along with it because that was ridiculous to wait in line for that. So I went over to the side took a few photos and went on down the road
google avatar

Nu H.

Yelp
Even though I've been to Vegas dozens of times, this was my first time here. It was a short drive from the strip to here. We came with a tour bus, so it was nice. Early in the morning with just a few people in line. We were able to take a few pictures quickly without a problem. It's nothing extraordinary, but it's is always nice to have a picture by the vegas sign!
