I was looking forward to trying ‘Well Kneeded’ a small local pizza place, but left very disappointed, even though we had used the First Table 50% off. The pizzas looked inconsistent, one of the margaritas had much less cheese on, and tasted more like a tomato pizza. The pizzas were luke warm and not steaming hot when they arrived. Our table was at 615pm, was no house salad available, with a choice of very few starters. I asked if a salad could be made, and one was conjured up! It tasted good. (the garlic bread was the size of a pizza base, carb overload). The service felt lethargic, after one of the diners asked for the drinks menu nobody, returned to ask what they wanted. They didn’t have a drink all meal. Even trying to use a gift card I received for a birthday gift was difficult, being initially told I couldn’t. (Do not buy these, too much trouble to use them). The £65 full price for our meal would not seem good value compared to other local places. I would not return and definitely prefer Franca Manca, for a similar but better local experience. Ps don’t be caught out by their website marketing for ‘50% off Wednesday pizzas’, the small * says that you have to spend over £20 each and only get a discount on the pizza and nothing else. 🙄

I've probably been here 50 times with friends and family since it opened. The proposition is simple but reliable: neighbourhood restaurant with sourdough pizzas, good ingredients and a business that gives back to the community. Wednesday is the best night as 50% off Service has got slicker over the years. I recently hosted a party in the garden. Lots of dogs and babies in attendance + rolling pizza and garlic bread. Everyone said the pizza was delicious. They provided a special that I had really enjoyed recently, this was much appreciated. Dogs are only allowed in garden these days but it's covered. Thanks for all the Meaty Margs and memories over the years! 💖

Just had the Well Kneaded pizza van parked on our drive in Earlsfield for a 60th birthday party. Super friendly, helpful and worked to deliver amazing pizzas for 90 people. Guests loved it and made loads of great comments. Definitely recommend. Thank you team Well Kneaded.

I hired the back garden for a birthday event for 25 people and could not have been more happy with the experience. Excellent communication from the Well Kneaded team leading up to the event and very reasonably priced considering what was included. All staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating to our various dietary requirements. The pizzas were delicious, drinks impeccable and atmosphere perfect. Thank you for making the evening so special!

Well Kneaded catered our wedding - sit down service, 3 courses, for 125 people. IT WAS FANTASTIC. Firstly, Laurence, the mastermind behind their brilliant flavours took such care, time and consideration to help create our wedding menu - it featured fresh and local produce, scrumptious pizzas, everything handmade with care from scratch. He even created a few dishes at our request and smashed it beyond our expectations. Not only was the food delicious but it was a treat for the eyes as well. Gorgeous!! The resulting meal was a feast of all the best of the season. Guests are still writing to compliment about the meal and we will forever dream about (and crave) it forever more. Beyond the great food, the Well Kneaded team is like a family. They are warm hearted, personal and organized. We planned our wedding from abroad and they made it feel like a breeze. They were so adaptable and flexible to our whirlwind of a life. A resounding applause from all of us. You helped make our wedding day an Italian dream!!! xoxo

From beginning to end working with Sorrel and her team was an absolute joy, it really felt just like organising our wedding with friends! From the slightly awkward parking arrangements we had, to changing guest quantities and dietary requirements - nothing was too much trouble and was just dealt with and taken care of, a great relief amongst all the other wedding stresses! The thought of having a self service pizza van at your wedding is obviously really cool - but there is nothing style over substance about Well Kneaded! Since the wedding in September I've had so so many messages about how amazing the food was, the whole relaxed 'posh buffet' vibe was exactly what we wanted and totally helped make the day. From the antipasti platters to the pizza main event, everything was just perfect and amazing quality - I can't recommend them highly enough! Everyone always says when giving wedding advice, you'll regret not spending much time with your new husband on the wedding day as you'll be so busy with all your guests, but my one regret was only having time to eat half a slice of pizza!!
