"Wen Cheng serves traditional Chinese hand-pulled noodles, and is so popular that there are two locations on the same street, about a 25-minute walk apart. We prefer Wen Cheng II at Schönhauser Allee 10, since it’s significantly bigger and offers a better view of the staff stretching out that noodle dough. It’s walk-in only, so the line can get long—your best bet is to visit right when they open for weekend lunch at noon. Our go-to order is the biang biang beef noodles, made to your desired level of spiciness (the “Asian spicy” option will test you), with a Sichuan fried chicken bao on the side. Very tasty food, enjoyed the ambiance with good friends. The waitress was super nice. We asked to get tap water and the waiter brought a glass to every one of us. Also loved the bottom of the bowl.
We would definitely come back again 😊

Sichuan bao but it doesnt taste like sichuan.
Dumplings didnt taste fresh
The staff was super friendly because we were honestly that it wasn’t to our tasting, he even gave us a discount. That was super nice thx.
If you want better quality and taste go to “the noodletown”

Very nice service and restaurant vibe. The flavour of the sauce was a bit disappointing. There wasn't enough cumin on the lamb either. The flavour seems to be more catered to Germans. But I liked that you could customize the spice level.

Served by Vasco, was great from the start. Very accommodating and friendly, made the experience better than what we expected it to be, which is saying something. And the food was absolutely amazing 10/10

Very filling big portions. Tasty broth with lots of meat. Hand pulled noodles are a bit thick and tough. Maybe in order to be fast for service they are way too quick.

I loved the spicy-ness and the good portion of meat the biang biang noodles had. The noodles were quite good too although a bit sticky. Staff were super kind and friendly

I ate the best ever noodles I ever had at this Wen Cheng restaurant. We ordered their Lamb and Beef pulled noodles and they were so delicious!! Moreover, we ordered bao buns which were so delicious. Portions are big and reasonably priced. Food quality and taste was so good that I cannot eat anywhere else! I highly recommend this Wen Cheng restaurant.
