Decent modern feel, hidden within a street in Enseñada Mexico. Dim lighting within with simple cocktail drinks and a couple of beer selections. It looked like a great area to get together for drinks, a bite to eat, or do some work with your laptop and headphones.
Their fries went so well with the drinks that we continuously kept ordering more. There was also a special for tapas (fries) and drinks. Wings were alright - tasted like your usual buffalo wings with ranch. I believe we may have been there for happy hour as the menus listed online differ from the ones we saw in house. The menus online definitely have more options - so it may just be that we didn't ask for a more extensive menu.
For your beers you had the selections of Verniega (Mexican Ale), Perro Del Mar (Indian Pale Ale), Vaquita Marina (Pale Ale), Humpy Humpy (Amber Ale), Harry Polanco (Red Ale, Hannzomer (Saison), Foca Parlante (Stout), and Gaviota Melendrez (Baja Pils). Their menu was pretty informative in the bitterness and their attentive employee (not certain if it was a manager) had a plethora of knowledge of the drinks. For those who aren't beer drinkers, they also had the option of margaritas which were pretty good.
Quite a oasis to relax in when you're in a new city. Felt quite similar to a brewery here in San Diego. Bathrooms are quite clean and so spacey within. During the night, this place was packed!
