I would just like to recognize this location and its staff. We just moved to the area, and every time I come here the staff’s customer service is by far the best I’ve experienced in the area! I had a mobile order today, and their mobile order system was down to the point where they couldn’t see what was on the order. The manager was still kind, she took my order at the window by memory, and still got the order correct. Not missing one thing. You could tell the staff respected her because they expedited my order and I was there and gone in no time. Amazing service, especially in the middle of a lunch rush and everything was perfect. As a leader, I know great leadership when I see it. The staff here is so kind and professional which tells me their leadership is excellent. This location definitely needs more praise. From the ordering, to the cashiers, to the friends making our food and to the manager.. BEST Wendy’s I ever did experience. Thank you all so much!

I just went thru the drive thru at night, and it took over 20 mins. I don't think staff properly trained. I waited like 5 mins at the ordering window before being greeted and told to order "#6 medium with dr pepper" "Hold, please," Wait another 5 mins... Greeted again and told me to go ahead and order "#6 medium with dr pepper" "Hold, please," a 2nd time... Wait another 2 mins. I finally place my order and pull up to the window to pay and get food. They looked lost inside. They asked if I ordered a Cobb salad. Gave me my drink and asked about the salad again... they almost gave me another drink, thinking he hadn't just given me one. I got my food and made sure everything was in the bag. I drove back to work. The fries were edible at best, but clearly not fresh or salted correctly. I started eating my spicy chicken sandwich. At first, it was a little odd... then, after a few bites, the texture was very weird and slimey. It wasn't even cooked all the way! 🤮 Now I'm feeling sick. Avoid this Wendy's

It's fast food people. You can't expect much. But what you should get is quick service. It's the main reason you come. It has been a long time since I had Wendy's. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich meal with lemonade. Everything seemed to slow down after my order was placed. I waited nearly 10 minutes and I was the only one in line. In fact, I saw 2 cars drive away. The sandwich was okay. I did notice a change in the quality. The chicken more like overprocessed chicken patty. The fries were one of the best at one time. It's just like everyone else's. They weren't crispy and a bit soggy. The lemonade was the best part of the meal.

Oh my god. The bathrooms toilet literally had poop coming out of it. Like people kept pooping on top of piles because it wouldn’t flush but it looks like it’s been there for a while. Like everyone that works there has just given up on keeping any part of the place clean and nice. The food was awful. Literally the worst burger lmfao. Both of the ones we ordered were cold and still pink. The rest of the dining area wasn’t clean either. And the guy who took our order couldn’t be bothered to pay attention enough to get it right even when we were standing right in front of him telling him one item at a time. We should have waited to go to a different Wendy’s closer to home but we were both hungry and this was right before we got onto i75. Heed my warning and don’t go here

By far the most bizarre experience I’ve ever had at a fast food establishment, employees have insane attitudes each of the three times I’ve been there, two of the three times were just for DoorDash and they continued to be some how very disrespectful, a kid wearing a visor hat absolutely lost his temper since I pulled right up to the window to pick up a DoorDash order and started slamming his fist into the register and the most pathetic part is that the manger enabled the behavior and acted out very disrespectfully taking his side. In my opinion the whole restaurant seems way too far gone not even for corporate to save it. If they have the audacity to talk to their customers like that I promise you they are taking short cuts in that kitchen and not handling food properly, but wait I thought Wendy’s was all about not taking short cuts right?! DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE HANDLE YOUR FOOD!!! And just drive to another location trust me.

Food is never fresh, no matter how slow they are. Employees are constantly horsing around in the kitchen and at the window/up front, and barely even acknowledge you exist. I once ordered here and less than 5 words were spoken to me the entire time. The store itself is dirty. If you must go to Wendy’s I suggest the one on 56th. They’ll provide an experience 10 times better than here.

Ordered a mobile pickup order on 6/3 at 12:45am. Whoever was working at that time did not come to give me my order despite me making it there before close. Very awful service for that man I just wanted my damn frosty. Drove all the way there to waste my time! Not one to complain but this actually pissed me off, they could’ve at least came and said something I’d understand but they didn’t even have the decency to do that.

I am so tired of this happening but yes the drink machine made me a drink that taste like drugs been in it. you guys need to check when they clean the drink machine at this place, I was told they put stuff that's not supposed be in the drinks when they clean the drink machine or fix and switch it out. but yes the drink made me drowsy and I feel drugged.

I never leave any reviews on places but tonight was the night I had to leave one, customer service was crazy disrespectful, completely gave me the wrong order, food was burnt cold and hard, when I ordered the my drinks for two different sizes they completely mixed it, didn't even put the right amount of chicken nugget counts in the order, at the end the lady even had a little sas attitude at the window basically rushing me to move on and I wanted to add a drink and she didn't even let even after all of my food was all messed up which is completely ridiculous and I knew that If I drove back I would have to open my mouth, I'm a really nice guy, but this is probably one of the worst Wendy's I've ever been to hopefully some changes occur after this comment because this is insane‍

My entire mobile order was cold. They marked my online order as picked up before I even arrived to the Wendys. All their lights were OFF INCLUDING THE MENU. HORRIBLE PLACE, take som prode in your work and stop cheating to make your job easier. Three ladies gossiping at the window yet my entire order was cold including my "no salt" fries which had salt!! This manager needs to get their shit together. what a disgrace to wendys to keep this HEALTH CODE VIOLATION OPEN

Why is it so soggy? It took me 5 minutes to get back to my hotel. I don't judge fast food by reviews but this shit is next to a gas station and it has gas station food quality. Should have gone to Taco Bell but with the quality around here I was probably gonna get a wet burrito too. Just go to sleep if you lost the chance to get yourself something at a nicer restaurant.

Visited in drive thru. Hubs was at Advent Health hospital which is literally across the street which made it convenient. I wanted to grab something quick and this was the place! Can't go wrong with nugs from Wendy's. They are especially good after sitting in the fridge for a few hours lol. The food was hot and fresh. Drive thru was a bit slow. Order was correct and hit the spot.

It's funny. Like Chick-Fil - A at the BBD/Bearss intersection, I live so close to this Wendy's , but I haven't come here in years. They recently updated the facade of the building from red to black. I was shopping at the nearby Target and decided to grab lunch here. The inside furniture has changed from soft smooth plastic to very angular, thin compressed wood tables and seats. They were going for rustic , but it looks like the worst of Big Lots furniture. I normally don't complain about the fast food restaurant interiors , but this looks tres tacky. Items ordered: Spicy Chicken sandwich ($5.39) - 4/5 Large Chili - $3.19- 3/5 Pineapple/mango lemonade specialty drink 4/5 (No refills) The SC sandwich was still great and spicy, but not unbearable. I still think it is better than Chick- Fil-A and Popeye's despite being "simpler". The Chilli has declined alas. They used to have a good amount of ground beef to bean ratio (1:1), now its all beans. The P/M lemonade drink was very tasty and accurate. I'm sure it probably has OVER 9000 grams of sugar though. Service was prompt and cordial.

Without skipping a beat, it's like every time I go an hour, hour an a half before closing, they only "accept cash" cause their reader is down, it sucks cause I get off at 12 at night and they are one of the few places open. I get that nobody wants to work but damn lemme get my food.

as someone who came here almost everyday to grab a quick lunch, I get treated so poorly especially in the drive thru. I almost never have any problems when eating in. The drive thru staff is incredibly lazy, rude, and care free. I always order the same thing, and I know my total always comes up to $11.65, but yet when I go through drive through somehow my order is $13-$15 because they charge me for individual items instead of a combo, they always get my plain hamburger wrong, always ends up have some other item on it, they have refused to fix their mistakes and offer a refund but take the food away and tell you to go else where. They have even pointed me in the direction of the burger king... I always get a large fry and it's NEVER even full, I mention it every time I come in. Most times pattys are warm but old asf. And sometimes you'll get a burger flooded with ketchup. I've worked fast food, I was a manager and I get sometimes it gets stressful, but this place is a total mess. There's no reason for them to be stressed when the busiest it gets here is 4 cars lines up. Don't waste your time just go to BK, they will probably end up sending you there anyways. wouldn't be surprised if this restaurant gets shut down soon. Not to forget the fact that there pattys are always old, never fresh and my burgers is always falling apart for lazy assembly . The fries are always cold.

I mistakenly ordered lunch during breakfast hours, they told me they couldn't make it and to cancel my order through the app. i was told doing so would get me a refund but i still got charged for the full total and lost my points. I'll find other places to eat.

My first time at this location. One of my only fast food go to meals if I have a busy day. Watching the carbs and cals so I didn't use chips, the chili is actually excellent, I used half of that! The salad was made with very fresh produce. I used Greek yogurt instead of sour cream and WALAA low carb and low cal drive through meal. I'd order it again and again. Missing one star for customer service. The girl at the window did not say hello or thank you (even though I did) and if I wasn't watching I could have dropped my card she slammed it in my hand.

Okay like all wendy's, the food is always good you can never mess up my love for them but the service here is terrible I always have patience for food service workers because I can understand having bad days and people being rude/disrespectful towards you. Me and my girlfriend tend to go to wendy's a lot since it cheap and good food and she stays over in the usf area and we wanted wendy's on the way to my house. we had been here once prior to and the first time we had gone the man running the drive thru was very impatient trying to rush our order when we were the only people in line and once we had gotten to the window the man was just being very rude and was trying to get us away as fast as possible he forgot our drink and tossed our food into the car over my lap and spilling the fries and food out of the bag into my girlfriends lap which was already ruining both of our moods. the last time we had gone it was the same experience with the same guy this time we came I only had cash on me so while trying to pay he was refusing to take my cash so after we finally asked him to please take our cash and putting the rest on card he had an attitude with us and again did not give us our drink and tried to argue saying he gave it to us while you can visibly see in the car we had no drinks he finally asked us what drink it was and once we said arnold palmer he didn't even try to pretend to look he just looked at us and said "we have no arbold palmers" and slammed the window in our faces so we went inside and asked for a drink showing the receipt and complained to the shift lead and overall the shift lead was a very nice guy and was very upfront with us telling us how the general manager really won't do anything about any of the employees because she is "too lazy". My girlfriend decided to give them one more chance and tried to go again the next day at night keep in mind wendy's closes at 2am and she had gone around 11pm when she had gone through the drive thru the woman the was extremely rude to her and said they were "only taking online orders" since then we've never gone back but never again!! Do NOT go to this wendy's they have no positive ambience.

We ordered 3 salads 2 Apple Pecan and 1 Cobb. When we arrived home and ready to eat the pecans weren't in the bag with the pecan salads. They were in such a hurry to get us through the line they forgot our pecans. Poor service on their part bad checking on our part.

Not sure if this is the same location I tried ordering from. The app said the address was 19430 Bruce B Downs. I ordered through Uber, after waiting 30 minutes Wendy's cancel the order with no reason. Just saying the order cannot be filled. I should have at least received the phone call from the store. This is not the first time I've had a problem with this location. Extremely unhappy and will continue to write negative reviews and every review site I can find.

Pros: Fast. Never had an order wrong. Cons: Employees never wearing gloves so they just be touching your food with their bare hands. 9 times out of 10 you'll get attitude from the employees and 6 times out if 10 they only take card when you go in Food sooo good though. Never had a problem with the food.

This has to be the worst Wendy's i have ever ate in. I received my entire meal cold and nothing was freshly made. They got my order wrong 2 times and on the 3rd time i asked for a refund because my entire meal was cold and stale. Non of the employees listen to directions. I am also upset that i was forced to put 1 star in this review, which is a lot for the horrible service this place gives.

The people working here are beyond incompetent. They quite potentially some of the dumbest people I have ever spoken to. They mess up orders, cannot complete basic requests, etc. For example, they said they couldn't do 4 for 4's because the drink machine was broken. No problem, I'll happily pay full price for the 4 for 4 and just not get a drink. This broke them. "But how could we possibly give you a 4 for 4 without the drink?". They could not comprehend the request and ended up being nasty about it. 0/10 customer service.

Honestly they only get a second star because when I do get my food it is good and made how i asked for it. They 90%+ say their system is down or that they're closed (within the hours they are supposed to be open). This may be true but if it is the system then the system needs to be fixed better. As a person who works fast food it all seems like laziness and they're more often than not rude.

BEWARE! Employees claim cash only orders at night and keep cash. On 7/14 at 10:11PM "Michael" who said cash only, said he did not know his Mngrs name when asked. An arrogant female in the background yelled "the managers name is John Wick!" Rude, conniving staff in desperate need of trained new team. Will never go there again.

Second time I've tried it here and the customer service still sucks. Lady was rude over the speaker on the drive thru and not understanding of the fact that I couldn't hear her (it was static-ey) and then gave me a pink lemonade instead of all natural, gave my friend the normal fried chicken instead of grilled chicken, and forgot to give us the salad (that we paid for) so we had to go in and have them give it to us. Second time I've had something forgotten. Last time my server argued with me when I said "I'm sorry I asked for grilled chicken" (he also gave me fried chicken instead) and he argued with me saying "no you didn't you asked for fried" I get the same order every time I know what I asked for!

This location is awful! I've never had an order so wrong in my life. I can understand if there was a miscommunication error, but the cashier repeated the order back to us correctly, yet it was wrong. My boyfriend and I went and he specifically asked for just ketchup and cheese on his burger, but instead he got all the toppings including a hair on his burger and another under the lettuce. We tried to call them twice to inform them of the mistake but they did not answer either time with no voicemail box to leave a message. We even tried calling corporate but they are not open on Sundays. Very disappointed about the service and we will NEVER go to this location for Wendy's ever again.

I went through the drive through after 11:00 PM on a Wednesday night to order a large classic meal with no mayo and two 10-piece nuggets. What I received was the large classic with mayo and a single 10-piece spicy nuggets. After going back through the drive through to explain the situation, the manager at the window was very condescending and took the rest of the spicy nuggets back. This was fine until after driving away we reach in the bag and found only a single 10-piece nugget. I'm usually not one to do back through when my order is messed up, but when giving that second chance I expect to be satisfied. I've always liked this location but this experience really left a bad taste in my mouth

A filling cheeseburger and fries for $3.40, can't beat that! My order is always correct, great prices of course, and my food is always ready when I pull up to the window. This Wendy's is my life saver when I get home late and miss dinner.

worst experience of my life, i'm a hard working college student who was looking for a good burger to end my night. the time was 9:37. while driving through the drive thru, we were told that they were not taking any orders at the moment. i asked what time they close and i was told 1:00am. the reasoning for not being able to order was because they were "switching shifts" and he "wasn't sure" when we would be able to order. this is not acceptable and i will definitely not be back. i will make sure to tell all of my friends of this horrific moment. on my way to mcdonald's.

This Wendy's offers a 10% discount for USF students or staff (show ID or apparel). For that, they get 3 stars rather than 2. Despite the discount, this place is still random and weird. It seems deserted (the curse of many Wendy's in Tampa) except for a varying trickle of drive thru commuters from USF and the FL Hospital, and a more steady trickle of homeless people and baby thugs hanging around. They only have one drive thru window, so sometimes you'll only have one car in front of you but still have a wait. The food is OK. It's Wendy's after all not Bern's Steakhouse. It's just kind of sketchy, and it shouldn't be because the location isn't that sketchy (or is it?). I'll still go here when necessary because I'm all about saving 30 cents with my USF ID!

The floor was slippery to the point where I had my gf pull me across the floor,I weigh 240 and she is 150 and I slid across the floor like nothing. My hamburger was cold like someone else had ordered it and they just gave it to me and then while I was eating my chili a roach just appeared out of no where. :( I shoulda took a picture it was a joke.

This Wendy's has the worst customer service of any restaurant I've ever been too. I stopped going to Wendy's because unfortunately this is the closest one to me so I don't even bother. I don't care share any of my experiences there but just know you probably won't have a great one :)

It's a blessing and a curse to have a Wendy's right across the street. Especially since she's my favorite fast food and the Sunday circular decided to send me some coupons. This Wendy's is good. We've seen our fair shares of screaming matches inside but it's a show. They don't really listen when you order and assume what you want. Ended up with a double JBC 5.00 meal when I asked for the chicken tenders. They don't give you any sauces unless you actually check and ask then they make it rain.

Overall the place is normally okay when you order, but the drive through is an absolute mess ans very long wait. You are better off going inside and placing an order so that you get your food faster and are out of there. If you are in a rush I would advise to stay away

I know people usually only rate when things aren't good, so when I saw the reviews I figured, "hey, how bad could it be?" Wendy's has a standard, or so I thought. Trust the negative e ratings. Suffice it to say, I had to choke down old cold fries. The Frosty tastes normal, but everything was more-less old and cold. Find another place.
