I specifically asked for an apple pecan salad with no blue cheese. When I received it with cheese in it, the employee did not even attempt to provide another solution which could’ve been easily to make a correct salad. His response was “it was too much going on & I didn’t hear you.” I also thought it was weird the salad was in a Jersey Mikes container, which appeared smaller than the normal round size.

2/26/25 Great service today 🍔 2/14/25 Witnessed a worker spit 💦 in the sink in the back. When I confronted him he said he spit 💦 in the trash 🗑️ can under the sink. This new generation has no 🏡 🚂. Lies he tells... 2/11/25 Carlos gives good service... EVERY TIME. We should all be like Carlos. Hire him to train the world 🌎 🌍. I have no patience for the bs... Excellent service today.

Recently visited this Wendy's from my recent trip from NYC. The workers are very nice. The food was fresh and delicious. Fresher than any Wendy's in N.Y.C. But beware they're slow when preparing your order. Just giving heads up to future customers.

Even though hardly anyone was there when I arrived, they still couldn't get my order right. How do you mess up a special burger? I mean, you are literally putting less ingredients and less work into the meal. I'll tell you how....by not listening to your customer. And stop holding the sandwich outside of a warmer while you cook the fries. That's Fast Food 101...and everybody knows if you fail 101 you cannot take on the next level. That's BK facts for those who do not know (98% customer satisfaction for 4 years straight working summers on undergrad on me)! And refrain from acting like you have an attitude because somebody asked for mustard. Just to be clear: It's no celebration for me to have mustard thrown on the counter for me to pick up...as bad as you don't want to touch my hand, I do not want to touch yours especially since you have been in contact with more people working there than me. Take all that attitude and put it into the effort of making the food better. Because clearly the customers cannot have it their way at Wendy's...I'm sure Dave is turning in his grave. Does Wendy know how you tarnishing her name? When I am finished this review. She is about to find out. Stop making our experiences bad at a location you just work at and don't own. There are lots of places to eat where you are, and people do not have to spend their money where you clearly do not care whether they keep coming or not. I promise you probably will hear from Wendy before this is said and done. What's up? My money isn't green enough for you or something? How else do you get paid if we don't buy? Believe me, I can talk like this all day. Do better or quit. Those two stars are hell-a generous, humpty-dumpty. I literally came home and remade the burger myself.

I always order from here and they always seem to forget something . If i added lettuce and onion to a sandwich i would get extra mayo and ketchup and no lettuce and onion, or I’ll order two things and just need a ranch and they can’t seem to place it in the bag. It’s annoying bc i order once im home from work tired and all i want is Wendy’s and they get my order wrong every time.

30 minutes to make a burger, fry’s, 6 piece nugget. You are not “fast” food, poorly ran and may require new management.

Worst customer service experience at any fast food place at all, so bad I SIGNED INTO GOOGLE JUST TO TYPE THIS. Avoid this specific wendy’s, idk if she’s the manager but an employee working at this wendy’s is not worth your time or happiness. I was personally SCREAMED at for taking half a second to realize they called my order. She looked me in the eyes and yelled in my face and then proceeded to give me the ugliest look i’ve ever been thrown, “YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION”. I have never been treated like this. I get being stressed but there was only ONE other person in line with me. She needs to find somewhere else that doesn’t cause her and others so much stress. It would do the whole world a favor. Do not go to this place unless you want an unpleasant experience, I hope she is fired soon so that she doesn’t spread her negativity to any other innocent people.

Whoever that older lady is that work there is rude as hell. She might be the manager idk but she’s rude and she got smart with me when I asked for an extra sauce.. she tried to correct me on my order as well. Never coming back UNLESS she’s not there.

My friend and I were in DC for Labor Day weekend. There weren't much food options close by to the hotel we were staying in so we decided to have our meals at Union Station which have a select of different fast food spots to purchase from. If I could give this location, zero stars I would. The first day. I wanted Jimmy John's but they were closed so I opted for Wendy's. It was 11:30 a.m so I was going to ask them about their breakfast selections. Standing up on the line with just one person in front of me felt like 10 years, so I lost my patience and got off the line and I got Dunkin' Donuts instead. (Strike one) On our second day after all of our sightseeing we decided to go back to Union Station to grab something to eat to take back to our hotel room. I said I'll go for their apple pecan salad stood on the line went up to the counter and had absolutely NO SERVICE. The lady behind the counter, looked at me looked off several times while I stood there waiting to place my order, which also felt like 10 years. Now the appropriate thing to do is to let your customers know what the holdup is but we had zero communication so therefore I left the line and I got Taco Bell instead, and the woman behind me followed suit. (Strike two) The third day was the same thing. All I wanted was a Salad and the service at this location is a DISGRACE they need new management or they need new employees. I do not recommend anybody to go at this location because you will be waiting until your hair turns gray. Please do not waste your time because life is too short to be standing up on the Wendy's line at Union Station waiting for service. Please hire people who want to do their job or shut it down Point Blank Period. Have a nice day! (Strike Three And You're Out)

I have yet to receive a single order from here that is correct. It's insanity. Like, I'm convinced the workers are just rioting and doing this deliberately. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger? Have a salad instead. Wanted fries? Here's some nuggets instead. The receipts are correct. The filled bag is all wrong. Every. Single. Time.

Went to Wendy's at Union Station in DC on my way home from a weekend in DC. It was 9:30am and they stopped serving breakfast. So I ordered fish, chicken nuggets, fries and baked potato. Wanted to compare the fish to McDonald's fillet o fish. Wendy's fish sandwich was crispy and hot. The tarter sauce was OK. The fries were crispy and delicious. Staff at this location was personable, diligent and professional. The food court location is in a prime location, not much ambiance but clean.

They Dont listen no matter how much you say it and they making your food by listening to everything you saying to the cashier n by the time u walk away your food is there not knowing if we miss anything n its not hot its just food sitting there Ready for the next customer not fresh!

You ever want to be rushed for no reason? Want to have to repeat yourself before you even finish what you say? Want to be stalked while in line? Then you came to the right place. Honestly, I thought this Wendy's was permanently closed for the longest time. I have been in Union Station on many occasions and well before the food court area started to dwindle in occupants, this place was rarely open. I was truly surprised that it was on this trip. I just started a new job within walking distance of Union Station and thought it has been at least a year since I was in here. Came in, right to the food court and over to hear I came. Line was short, I already knew what I wanted. But, like I said, had to repeat what I wanted before I even finished what I was saying. Let me get it out first, sheesh. Not only did I have to repeat myself, but you are rushed in your ordering. God forbid you want to think for just a second if you want to change anything or add on anything. Then, when you get your food, it's like a mad dash to either find a seat or get out of there. I was taking my food back to my office so I wanted to close my bag so I could carry it better. Before making it to a table I was asked two separate times if I had change to spare. So take it from me, no eye contact, nearly run to the exit, and you will make it out of here. That same guy, on my way to the escalator asked for spare change again. After telling him a third time I don't carry cash, he proceeds to follow me to the escalator. I'm thinking he is about to follow me all the way back to my office. Nope, he just needed to throw up next to the escalator, right next to the garbage can. Hey, if you made it this far into the revie. The food was spot on at least.

TERRIBLE!!!! There was a decent Wendy's on Florida Ave but it closed and open this one in the food court of Union Station, the only one close to me. I've been about 3 times(2 baconators and a breakfast baconators) and each time the sandwiches were dry, the burgers should have been chili meat the day before. I use to work at a Wendy's in the 80s so i know they are suppose to take burger that are not ordered for chili meat. They should get a new manager or just close this location. The other places in the food court are pretty good.

It's sad to have a wendys in union and not feel comfortable to order. My first visit was good food, not so good service. Today though id give another try, not so good. It's was not busy but long wait, and I had to watch the food being prepared made me change my mind. If someone is listening:)

Nice people? Sure Good food? Of course Clean storefront? No doubt Wanna know what this biggest issue here is? The wait time. God forbid this place ever get busy with more than 2-3 customers. Otherwise you may as well start doing your taxes while in line. And once you get your food; there's a 50/50 chance it's missing something, or it's the wrong order. The food is fantastic, for what it's worth. But unless you've got all day, & enjoy babysitting your food while it's being prepared; save your time/money..!

I ordered breakfast combo with bacon, egg and cheese muffin. absolutely worst breakfast sandwich ever. the muffin was tougher than corrugated cardboard and tasted the same. must have been in freezer for couple years and microwaved for 5 minutes.

This place was very anticipated as it was revealed to be Wendy's, another great option to decent fast food eats. I'm a fan of their salads and beverages. The service area was clean and has that sparkle of a new store. The counter is easy order and pick up with a cordoned off line. Menu is easy to read, prices are comparible to the prices outside of DC. The attendant had a pleasant, cheerful disposition and is excited to be there. It's nice to have this place on the lower level while another burger place is upstairs. Plenty of options!

The wait time is the worst here. Placed a mobile order, waited 15 minutes to head to the counter to pick it up then waited another 10 minutes for the food to finally be ready. It looked like they were short staffed today but at one point the cashier was instructed to stop taking people's orders and start helping make food. So the line backed up. Otherwise it is what it is...a fast food restaurant in a food court of a train station. Nothing bad, nothing good.

RUDE. Stops serving breakfast before 10. I pointed out that it was before 10. Counter man didn't care, of course, had kind of a "we do it the way we do it" attitude. If Wendy's wants to close breakfast at 9:45 am, that's fine, but don't say breakfast is served until 10 if you don't serve breakfast until 10. Don't lie to your customers and don't inconvenience them. We walked out and we won't be back.

okay so this review may not mean anything to the naked eye. because I MAYY not of been to this specific wendy's. but let. me. tell. you. two days ago EXACTLY on 6/3/24. I had what some MAY describe as a miracle meal. it was the most special thing I've EVER experienced. I got the food INSTANTLY. and there was a very handsome employee MIGHT I ADD. it was, as established, at a different wendys. but I don't care. this meal was delicious enough that it will FOREVER alter how I feel about ANY wendys location. I haven't even begun. after a long lesson at around 7pm (perfect sunset) (not really) I pulled into that wendy's drive thru knowing my food would be fine. good enough to improve my mood... but little did I know.... it would be the meal to end all meals. I ordered a 6 pack of chicky nuggies AND? a child's burger. when I received my food, it was practically glowing from the bag. the chicken nuggets? crispy. delicious. it was on a whole different level. it's like the crisp and the chicken itself were in separate layers. I. didnt. even. use. ketchup. the burger felt like being replenished by an ancient goddess. it was the most PERFECT thing ever. the patty melted into my mouth. the pickle was crunchy, the onions were strong (but not too strong). finally the ketchup and mustard were on POINT. all while being the size of an infant bat. I haven't been able to stop thinking about this amazing experience. this is the type of thing people start religions over. 5 stars.

Ordered a baked potato with bacon and cheese. Opened the takeout container and there was the potato smothered in cheese and bacon. Looked yummy. But it was sitting in a pool of grease and the potato had the consistency of mashed potatoes. The bacon crumbles on top tasted awful. They tasted a bit rancid. So gross potato, nice employees. No Apple Pay. This potato went straight into the trash.

J.O is what he said his name was who looked like the manager (but guy with locs) had me waiting in the pickup line for 20 minutes and COMPLETELY ignored me when I asked (very tactfully) about my order. I waited because I thought the order was not prepared. However after 25 minutes and after watching everyone else get service, I asked the cashier about my order. The entire time I waited and was ignored by "J.O." the girl cashier got my order that had been ready the entire time!!!! There are customers who order online as well as those who order in store and to completely ignore and be rude to me is unacceptable. I was patient and had manners, I should not have been treated that way. Like completely ignored after I attempted to get his attention three times!

Ive went to chilis and gotten food faster, if you're desperate then sure but if you got options I wouldn't come here, staff is so unprofessional.... Please just choose anywhere else

Went today with my coworker, all of the staff was friendly and helpful. Food was fresh. They said they accept Wendy's coupons and will be accepting the app, which the Chic-fil-a in Union Station does not accept. I'm happy!!

This place is horrible. The service sucks. The employees are more concerned with having fun and flirting with customers than doing their job. If there's a manager, fire them immediately. Clearly they have no idea how to properly operate a restaurant. Worst experience getting food ever. And this isn't a 1 time thing. I've been here before and been disappointed with the service. This was just the last straw.

Extremely rude lady working there. Very impatient from the get go and gave me a wrong order.

By far this is the worst wendys EVER! Their customer service is horrible , the line is always LONG and instead of the team members making the customers/guest the priority they'll just rather talk to each other. This location can have a line and the team members just chillin by the FRYERS having a conversation once they're done with their conversation is when they will acknowledge you , when the guest are the ones that pays them. If you dont guest you wont make money , then how would they get paid. THE WHOLE TEAM IS VERY ARGUMENTATIVE especially when they FUCKED UP the order. Forever snatching or throwing your stuff . For all that i'll rather them sat my food on the counter and ill pick it up myself. I will be calling the health inspector on this Wendy's . The lemonades that they are selling is dirty you can see the mold from the outside , they cant be cleaning their machines on a regular if its molded and they STILL continue to serve the lemonades. Their chicken nuggets are NASTY . As soon as i tried to digest the nugget it was already coming back up. Something is not right with the food at all.
