Have visited this place twice, a few years apart. Both instances were a frenzy – the place is always bustling with people and can often be quite crowded. I found that the items usually illicit an average response or are an instant and surprisingly hit. This time around we got the Chocolate Wave cake which was average in my opinion. But the Lemon Tart was surprisingly good and left a lasting impression on me! Also important to note that this space has no seating and is mostly for takeaway. For dine-in and seating, go around the corner to their cafe to properly enjoy the full extent of their menu.

We shopped here during the weekend, Sunday to be precise and the experience was average compared to what we have heard from friends. We were excited and ended up ordering items worth 3000 rupees including, cookies, rounds, pasterie, puffs, and pizza. The only best thing about the whole order was Cheese and Olive pizza. It was perfect for two of us and we enjoyed every single bite of it. Everything else was average taste and quality. Cookies are average in taste and doesn't distinguish from any other bakery. Puffs, Rum, and Rounds are below average in taste.

I recently visited Wengers in CP and had a mixed experience. As a bakery enthusiast, I was eager to try their offerings. Authenticity-wise, I'd give it a 7/10. While they've got the flavors right, some pastries didn't quite live up to traditional expectations. Taste-wise, however, Wengers shines with an 8/10! - Croissant (6/10): Unfortunately, it tasted more like bread than the flaky, buttery goodness I crave. - Patties (Mushroom/Chicken) (9/10): Excellent! Crisp, Flavorful and juicy. - Almond Danish (6/10): Average, could be more crispy. - Chocolate Swiss Roll (8/10): Good. - Eclairs (8/10): Impressive! Creamy and rich. - Choux Pastry (8/10): Well-done, light and airy. - Mille Feuille (8/10): Good.

The cake shop has been a favorite for many years, offering delicious treats, especially the cream roll, which is a must-try. However, the billing process could be improved. Currently, you need to first take an order receipt from the counter, stand in line to pay, and then return to the counter with the payment receipt to collect your order. Despite this, the quality of the cakes and service is excellent, and I highly recommend it for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Wengers is a very famous and old establishment of CP in Delhi. Heard a lot about this place and was finally able to visit. This place shuts by 7pm so you need to get here on time to be able to try the dishes. I first got the chicken pattice as it looked very tempting. But alas it wasn't as good as it looked. Also for 100rs its very expensive and not tasty at all. Next I tried the lemon cream puff. This was also okay. I felt like there is too much hype around this place. Its a one time try place for me.

All tym hit and favorite. And their bakery shop which is just backside to the wengers’s cafe is worth trying if you have never been. The only thing we regret is that its not on swiggy or zomato so that if its not possible at times to go there you can order and indulge in its delicacies. But anyways if talking about food that is unmatched and always happy to be here.

The experience of the bakery and the cafe are two different items. The bakery is excellent with wide variety of options . The cafe is average , the breakfast options are good but average. The american breakfast was decent but nothing special but the pancakes were bad as they seemed deep fried and crisp around the edges. The submarine panini was below average and disappointing.They are reasonably priced though and the bakery items are worth it. The rating is mostly for the bakery.
