I went here with a friend a few weeks or so back, and had no idea there was a group of food carts so close to home! The last time I had the ginger black pepper beef bowl! Loved the recommended Bang-Bang Shrimp and Garlic noodles with chilli oil this time! Perfect for the cold with bold and tasty flavors! The shrimp can be eaten whole, tail and all! Well worth the price for such large portions! Favorite Asian go-to food cart from now on!~ 🙌🏻🥘

We visited on a Friday afternoon and they had no wait. We ordered right away and were comfortable making my son’s garlic noodles without cheese and green onions. I got the Penang curry dumplings. I loved the creamy and coconutty curry with the crunch of the fried garlic bits on top. So good!

Boy was I in luck when I happened upon this trailer! The Shrimp and Pork Netted Spring Rolls came highly recommended and were out of this world. The entire plate was wonderfully balanced with pickled veggies and lettuces to balance the crispy and umami rolls. Such a thoughtful and sophisticated plate of food. And the owners of the truck were friendly and so welcoming. The owner even apologized for not having a treat for my dog! lol Such a delightful experience.

This food has some heart, it takes time to perfect I am sure and the flavor and crunch and layers of texture and depth was pure delight. Netted rolls and peanut chicken wings were ordered and devoured!

The food here is always amazing and I am impressed with each dish I get. Nothing here has ever left me underwhelmed or wishing for more! I personally love getting the vegetarian dishes. The portions are perfect and the service could not be friendlier! There's also a seating area that welcomes you to sit down and enjoy a meal with friends over a board and/or card game. I highly recommend this food cart to anyone in the area and plan on returning regularly.

I am so glad I tried this spot last night. Originally I was on my way to Panda Express, however when I saw the food carts sign I figured why not at least check out some menus. I got the garlic shrimp noodles, absolutely delicious. The seasoning was on point and I genuinely have no complaints. San and his wife are lovely people, great service and didn’t wait long for my food at all. Highly recommend trying them out!

I was having a conversation with someone on TikTok about the phenomenal food in southeast. Wen's commented that they had the best spring rolls in the city and ya know what? They weren't kidding! This is my first time having spring rolls like this and they definitely lived up to the hype. Wrapped in either glass noodles or vermicelli then deep fried instead of the typical rice paper wrap. Stuffed with juicy flavorful pork and shrimp. Wrap it up with a piece of lettuce with daikon and cilantro then dip it in the fish sauce. Absolutely fantastic. 10/10 no notes. And I think $14 is a great deal for 5 of them too! Don't sleep on this place! I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
This food cart is a hidden gem! The dishes are always fresh, savory and portions are generous. The menu offers a nice variety without being overwhelming. All dishes are delicious!! Whether it's a weekend or a weekday, Wen's Kitchen is always a great place to stop by for a delicious meal while enjoying your drinks from Arbor Beer Lodge next to it. The place host trivia on Thursdays and live music on Saturdays, making it a lively spot to gather with family and friends. Best of all, it's both kid- and dog-friendly, so everyone feels welcome.

Yelp
Good food, cooked to order and the owners are very kind and thoughtful. We ate there for the first time at lunch today and liked it so much, we came back for dinner this evening. The food is Thai, with maybe a few other Southeast Asian influences. However, Wen's is in a food truck court, so if someone in your family is not a fan of Thai food, there are other trucks selling Mexican cuisine, sushi, gyros and Mediterranean food, and one truck selling kid-friendly items like corn dogs and other classic carnival fare. There are plenty of vegan options, including cinnamon rolls. There's also a building selling beverages such as beer. Seating is available both indoors and out. Wen's "net" egg rolls and the shrimp and pork on pancakes were both new to us, but both dishes were delicious and fun to eat. We also had Panang curry noodles and the beef on salad which were also very tasty. Since the food is cooked to order, the level of spiciness can be adjusted to your preference. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Delicious Southeast Asian (Thai and Vietnamese) Food Truck with a standout menu at reasonable prices. I have tried the RED CURRY BAMBOO STIR FRY + RICE as well as the Chicken Wonton Soup. They also offer a delicious Panang curry veggie stir fry (not on the menu). All are pretty wonderful. Service is quick. Owners of the food cart are very personable.

Yelp
Solid Vietnamese / Thai food cart. Everything I've had is good. The netted fried rolls are great and one of their specialties. Bang bang shrimp is solid. Deep fried but still very light. Owners are super friendly

Yelp
Fresh and quick! Appreciated their flexibility in swapping noodles for rice to make my dish gluten free.

Yelp
Just tried the bang bang shrimp dish. Was expecting them to be closed as arrived late on a Sunday past their posted hours but they were still going although sold out of a couple items however didn't affect my order. Staff was super friendly and thankful to their customers. The food was nicely prepared not over sauced with a perfect fry and the rice was airy yet sticky. Will be back to try more.

Yelp
For context, garlic noodles have been my favorite comfort food for as long as I can remember. This was the best garlic noodle dish I've ever , seasoning was absolutely on point. San and his wife are so kind , I can't recommend this place enough. Tons of options to enjoy from Wen's !

Yelp
This place is a gem! We were in the neighborhood and flipped Yelp open. Saw the food pics and and said "yeah looks good, let's go there". Glad we did! Food was great! Owner was a very nice guy. Will definitely be back to try other things on the menu!

Yelp
5 of those delicious creations are generously packed in there. It was torture driving home because this smelled SO GOOD. 10/10 amazing and delicious. Wendy, you are wonderful and gorgeous!! I will definitely be back

Yelp
I've been to Wen's Kitchen twice now and every dish I've gotten has been incredible. The menu is short and the food itself is pretty simple, but I can't think of another place in Portland that makes Thai food as light, clean, fresh-tasting, and insanely flavorful as this. The portions are big. The prices are low. The owner is chill as hell. The panang curry will live in your head rent-free forever. 11/10, I'm this close to asking them if they'll take cash for a gallon of wonton soup broth.

Yelp
The nicest guy helped me. He was also the cook and owner (I assume). I ordered the bang bang shrimp and fried bananas and every bite was fresh and delicious. I'll be back because this is my new favorite place and I don't give out that compliment easily. Thanks for the great service with a smile!!
