West Bali National Park

This is one of the most beautiful place ever! The snorkeling is out of this world. Staff are so kind. There were monkeys, birds, deer, wild hog and the best snorkeling I’ve ever done. Beautiful clear water, colourful corals and fishes. There is a fee to enter and that’s expected and fair since it’s a national park that needs funding.they have vegan and veggie options. Wish they had more but they do make customisation on request.

This is terrible! It's a scam! Before we even got in, we were approached by someone claiming to be a ticket officer who told us we had to hire a guide for 950,000 IDR to enter. It's absurd! I wouldn't recommend this place at all - they're not transparent. Shut it down!

Ketut was an awesome guide!! He was so knowledgeable and so kind. We learned so many things about the plants, trees and the animals that live in West Bali National Forest. We did see a couple black monkeys and one with a baby!! We highly recommend Ketut. It was a great experience and we wish him the very best!!

Don't fall for the scam at the beginning of the road. It's a tourist trap. They have a fake gate and entrance at the beginning of the road to the entrance claming they the guide office and you have to pay them over IRD 2000 000 for 3 people, that you have to use them as a guide. Don't fall for it. Don't stop there. Drive past them. Go direct to office, where it's IDR 200 000pp for entrance and IDR 500 000 for government Guide. Where the government stops at all the stops and does a full tour. The tour with the government Guide was nice as he showed you everything but very rushed. They don't give you enough time to actually enjoy the spots.

Decent, quite ugly. You can spot some unique animals.

Deer Island really does have friendly deer that you can get great pictures with. The snorkelling/diving is great, reefs good with plenty of colour & fish, highly recommend this for a day trip. The weather always seems good here so a good trip for the wet season.
