Dear Leader Joe - Dragi Vođa

Google
I was visiting my friend in Burbank and I saw a big sign "West Coast Customs". I was so excited bc I watched them on TV. I love their amazing cars. I asked the worker there if I could enter and take some photos and he was so nice and said yes. Thank you :)

Google
We love to see how the cars transforms, we have fun looking at the shows. We didn't like the attitude of the owner 😐😔

Rooster's Beak Studios

Google
Jeff was nice and very informative to us. He told us a brief history of all the cars in the showroom, which mentioned that it was a lot of hard work in a schedule. The place is shiny, clean, and well maintained. It will motivate you to look around like you were in a museum. They also offer a car tour room that you pay for entry, and certain rules apply, such as no photos. They also have lots of high-quality merchandise and car cleaning products that I found useful for my car. I recommend coming here, especially if you are interested in cars.

I am a fan of the show and cars they build. Unfortunately the day I showed up for a tour, there was no one available. After waiting a long time, Big Dane gave us a quick tour. We got to see Ryan but he didn't even acknowledge us.

Google
Horrible Business. I brought the very first Porsche 928 in to have it restored. My car was a Classic, driven by Clint Eastwood, Paul Newman and Gene Hackman. Lorenzo the Sales Guy worked up some quotes and we agreed on a price. They needed $10,000 deposit and another $10,000 to start the job. I brought $20,000 in to them and because Lorenzo wasn’t around that day, I wisely just left $10,000. I didn’t hear from him for weeks, he finally calls me to say the Scope of work was bigger than he anticipated. I said please return my $10,000 and work on a new quote so that I can make a decision. I never heard from them again. They kept my money. I took them to small claims court and won. But still no money. They might do a nice job for millionaires who could care less about losing $10,000. But for me it’s a big deal. I believe in Karma, and was important to share this. Thanks

Google
Went on the VIP tour with Jeff and my family and I really enjoyed it. We got to see really cool cars and their current projects and it was awesome. We saw Ryan talking to an employee so we didnt want to bother him but we did take a picture with Big Dane and it was cool.

Joe's Shine Shop

Google
2nd time visiting WCC at this location, 1st time it was amazing, 2nd year not so much. There was no new stock / T-Shirts in the shop and the cars in the showroom was the same from the previous year so nothing had changed in those areas. Shame tho as I love the brand. If it is your first time visiting then it is worth going to see if you are in the area.

Google
Some nice modified cars, but you gotta pay like 25$ to take tour. Seen some stuff through the glass window and we definitely didn't pay money for that tour. i Don't think it's worth it, here are some pictures

Yelp
Working with West Coast Customs was the best choice we made. We didn't want to trade-in our much loved Element for a newer car that didn't look as cool. My wife knew what she wanted done and they really helped make her Forza Painter hobby a reality! Brian Garin, the manager, was awesome. He regularly kept us up-to-date on the progress. Any add-ons he suggested were ones we were already thinking about, but didn't want to call and bother them with more things to do. They went above and beyond what we expected. The final results are amazing and we have never been happier with a vehicle. We would 1000% recommend West Coast Customs if you have a dream project for a car you love.

Yelp
Good times, good music, and good vibes at the 30th Anniversary party. The stage was set up nice, and food vendors had a nice variety. Other local shops and car clubs set up around, too.

Yelp
Wow I look at reviews to decide if I should take my vehicle in after seeing all the bad reviews not so sure I believe people reviews are important on the customer service they receive

Yelp
*We came to see the the cars they had in the showroom, not for any actual car work. While my husband and I were visiting California I figured I'd surprise him with a visit to West Coast Customs. We parked and looked around at some of the cars that they had outside so I told him let's go take a look inside. While inside, we were greeted by Jeff. Let me start off by saying that Jeff is so amazing hands down! Jeff, my husband and I were all talking talking about random things and car related having a great time. While talking to Jeff, Ryan walks right in front of us and said hello. Needless to say that made our day! After talking to Jeff for a good while we decided to do the tour and OMG we were in love with what we saw and stories that go with it all. After the tour we stayed and talked to Jeff some more. Being that were visiting from Miami day after Thanksgiving, this was an amazing highlight to our trip, not to mention my husband as well! We left very happy to see so many amazing cars and the work and details that go behind them all! Of course, Jeff is the star of it all because let's face it, he's the face you see when you arrive and the last one to leave and he was just that amazing!

Yelp
The only way I would recommend someone to West Coast is if they are my enemy and I want them to suffer. This place is EXTREMELY undereducated when it comes to anything other than placing a simple tint.. even that is too much to ask for. My little brother came here to tune his BMW and instead we are left with a totaled car because west coast did a tune that they did not understand how to. Now oil is leaking into the engine, making it un-drivable and it's going to cost me 5x to repair it. West Coast customs is an absolute embarrassment and I would never wish anyone to ever go to this place. They saw my brother and they saw that he was a nice kid and they took advantage of him and when we called for them to repair a mistake that they did, they completely played stupid and denied their actions. Now I am hiring a lawyer and will be taking a civil lawsuit to them. Shame on you. You should be embarrassed..

Thy W.

Yelp
This business has poor ethics! They have bad reviews on the BBB for not paying their employees on time as well as their contractors! Unfortunate that they treat people poorly despite the show before. I would not recommend them!

Tony J.

Yelp
I repeat no one take your car here unless you want to go thru hell ! They do a poor job quality even when you pay them for what they want .

Yelp

Yelp
Amazing place. Had an awesome time getting a tour of the shop with my son and actually scheduling work to get done on my Mercedes. Will refer people to this location.

Ron F.

Yelp
Crooks. Stay far away. Just because celebrities and athletes have their cars worked on here doesn't mean they are good people. They make up bogus stories to kill time and overcharge for work not completed. Don't be fooled by their television exposure. They are only looking to take advantage in every way that they can. Worst people. Not honorable in anyway. Avoid them at all costs. There are companies that are reputable who will actually do what they say.. Not Westcoast Customs..

Yelp
hi everyone, ive been extremely constipated and i finaly was able to drop a ginormous deuce, right bfore i flushed that sucker i looked down and saw ryan friedlinghaus swirling around and around the bowl holding on for dear life..... you should have seen ryan gasping for air surrounded by peanuts ......

Yelp
Ryan and his crew really show their dedications and commitments to the automotive customization industry. Everything they do is super creative and out of this world. Hope to see them expand globally and sweep the car fans off their feet with more off the hook creations!! Did I mention that they are almost done building a sound studio in their shop? Looking forward to meeting Post Malone and others at the shop soon!!

Yelp
I first found Westcoast customs at the Camp Pendleton Marine corps base in San Onofre, CA, the shop looked clean and the employees seemed very knowledgeable, and they actually seemed to cater to military which I respected very much. I went in an asked a bunch of questions and they were able to help me, we came up with the idea to work on my 2008 Ford Mustang GT, we were going to delete the back seats, add a custom box to take the space of the back seats, add dyno Mats all over the car, one month and $8,000 later the car was complete, the work was great, not at all worth $8,000 but it still looked good. I didn't argue I paid I was supposed to receive a sign signed by the owner and all the techs that worked on my car that I never received. Less than a year later my headlight and one of the tweeters that was installed by WestCoast Customs went out, i attempted to call the WestCoast Customs in Camp Pendleton and I was informed that the location was closed down and the headquarters In Corona, CA was the only location that was left open, I called the Corona location and they were very professional and requested I bring the car in so that they could take a look at it, I took my car in and they asked me to pay another couple of hundred dollars to change the parts, I argued that it's under warranty it's been under a year, they stated the parts were not under warranty. I went ahead and paid just to get my car back. Now a couple of years later I started receiving a check engine sign on my car that I later found out was coming from my Gas tank, i took my car to my dealership, they were able to bring the gas tank down and they found two holes coming from the custom box that was built for me by Westcoast Customs, two screws were drilled directly from the box into the gas tank. Now the gas tank is not cheap, after taxes before labor it's about $900USD without the gas pump, the labor however is another $700 to $900 USD. I decided to buy the Gas tank myself and decided to notify Westcoast Customs of the mistake that was made by their techs and in the hopes that they would only install the gas tank for me, I did not request compensation and I did not request anything extra. I reached out to Lorenzo who I was told was the supervisor at the new Burbank location and I explained my entire story to him and I even included my invoice from The ford dealership, after a day or so Lorenzo reached out to me and stated on the email that they unfortunately can not help me due to the fact that I did not save my invoice showing that the work was done by westcoast customs, even though when I reached out to them after my fog lights and my tweeters went out they were clearly able to pull it up on their system and said that I had no warranty on those two parts. I've attached all of my emails back and forth with Lorenzo of Westcoast Customs even the emails threatening to contact their legal team for telling him that I was ready to take this to social media, Google and Yelp. It's really disappointing that not only are they not able to accommodate me for the unprofessional work they done but they think they can prevent me from my constitutional rights of free speech by threatening me with their legal team. So much for supporting the military. I would not recommend them to anybody that really cares about their vehicles, they have no values, no ethics and the only hype over them is the tv show and the popular stars that had their cars modified by them. They only cater to the rich and famous. Don't waste your time.

Yelp
I left my car to get a new wrap and they wrapped it the wrong color and charged me for it and it came back with multiple scratch and over 50 miles than what it had. Keep in mind it was a 2022 Lamborghini Urus with 40 miles so they where just joyriding my car instead of what I asked and there were multiple nail marks left on the steering wheel, these guys are imbeciles who don't know what the fuck their doing. DONT BRING YOUR CAR HERE.

Yelp
We all know about the amazing creations that West Coast creates from seeing them on television and having them locally is pretty cool. From the time the building was being updated (from what it was) I was intrigued by the design of the building. Even when they put the Giant W on the building I had no idea it was West Coast. Once I knew I could tell where the creative vision for the building came from. They always 1-2 cars out front to tease your eyeballs, from movie cars they've created to just bad-ass creations. When I saw a sign on the building that said public tours I was very intrigued and finally got the chance to go inside when I had a friend visiting from out of town. I thought the tours may be free, but they are not. They aren't cheap either $20 for an overhead catwalk tour or $75 for a VIP tour. NO PHOTOS ON EITHER, so be warned if that's your goal. However, they do have several cars just outside the front desk/store area that you are free to look at. The store has a good selection of items and I feel they are fairly priced and you can pick up some souvenirs or items for yourself. I'll never have the money to have a car tricked out by them, but I can always drive by and dream a little!

Yelp
Friendly staff. Says Open for everyone but its very limited. They have tour packages 20 $ which includes over view of current projects and 75 $ which includes close view of all current projects, tshirt signed by RYAN and vip badge. Staff are so cool they will answers all you questions with patience.

Yelp
I came here to get my Lamborghini fixed back in 2020 and at first they were cool and said they would have it fixed in a week. No big deal, but weeks turned into months and when I finally got it back there was macaroni and cheese in the back seat!! I told myself if it's good macaroni and cheese I'll let it slide.... NOPE it was cold and soggy!! Never coming back here again
google avatar

Chris T.

Yelp
This place is the worst. Tried to get them to do a vehicle wrap. They swore it was no problem. Called multiple times with no schedule date. Weeks went by with no response at all. Got it done somewhere else for half the price. Turns out not only do that have horrible customer service, but are also very overpriced.

Yelp
Me and my dad went on the new shop tour. We called ahead out of curiosity and found out, the last hour is free. So we took advantage of that. We parked on a side street outside and the tour took only 30 minutes. It was just me, my dad and the tour guide. They had us walk on this bridge above the workshop and he would point at each car in the shop and explain the model of the car, who they belonged to and what is being done to it. The tour guide was kind of stale; I can tell that's not his main focus, he just does what the boss wants... that's just how life is these days isn't it? No photos or videos allowed since some cars belonged to high-profile people like Justin Bieber. There's a gift shop there. You can tell it's kind of neglected by the dust lol! The merchandise was limited in style. Just print their logo really big on some shirts and hoodies, converting the every-day civilian into a walking billboard.

Yelp
Mind blown. Finally visited WCC I've been passing by this spot for a long time salivating at the exotic custom cars displayed. I am a car fanatic so coming here was heaven. In the showroom there are about 7 cars to see with a few outside. Also there is a cool gift shop for car enthusiasts. Oh and i can't forget the room full of dubs..rims. They offer tours of the actual area where the custom work is being done. Will definitely go back for the tour of the shop!

Yelp
I've lived Burbank 3-1/2 years and just saw West Coast Customs. It's in the Burbank Empire Vicinity but across the street. I met the Marketing Manager and daughter. They let me walk around the 1st Floor and visit the Rims Room. I'll have to return when for a tour, for the 2nd Floor Museum, on a date or with male family. West Coast Customs was awesome at a quick glance. They're actually open until 3pm or 4pm on Saturdays.

Yelp
I was on the MTV show pimp my ride. They destroyed my car. All they did was cosmetic repairs for the show. They did not repair the engine or any of the stuff I thought would be done. Fuck yall.

Yelp
Ryan is a joke. My husband and I were the only 2 in there n he came out of a room to go in to another room we said something to him he looked at us not saying a work. Not even hello . And we said it loud enough for him to hear. I understand hes busy but he could at least say hello or something. Hes another one of those celebrities who thinks they are better than everyone just because they made it big. We drive all the way from vegas to stop there not knowing if we would see him or not. But when we did we thought he would at least say hello. It was very disappointing. We have watched all his stuff on TV. Not any more I will let everyone know hes a big joke.

Yelp
BUYER BEWARE! The five star must have been a personal friend. My experience was literally so horrendous I couldn't even write this review for 7 months because I was so furious just thinking about it. So it started in September. Lorenzo was to do a simple "murdered out" custom job on my Autobiography Range Rover. They start by requiring a substantial Wire only to get the job moving $12k. I rent a car for a week because that is what he told me I needed $550. After a week, they need the car for a "few more" days so I uber around $350. Eventually, I get the car and OOPS..they give me the car but forgot to install the front window SPF tint, forgot the new rectangle black exhaust tips, and never ordered the side steps. The tint they put on driver window was pitch black I had to roll down to see. I asked for medium. He said don't worry they will get me back by not charging me for my all black emblems/badges. Well, I just recently purchased those 6 months later online for $550. I also paid a mobile tint guy to come to my office and ripoff the ridiculous black window tint on front doors and install the windshield tint $660. Lorenzo takes the car back again, another week, delivers me the car with the wrong exhausts. I went from stock round chrome to huge chrome rectangle? And he forgets the side steps AGAIN! So he takes it back and delivers after another day. That very night the side step cracked open, and a huge piece fell off in the road!!!! He never returned calls, money, texts, nothing!!!! I took my car to Land Rover and another shop. Both agreed, the steps were not factory and were installed backwards. This is why the huge metal chunk fell off night one. It is literally shameful how this business is run. Having given up on what appears to be a person with an addiction or other serious issue, I called and spoke to a nice young guy at the shop, I requested ONLY info about the steps so I could get them fixed.I asked to speak with the manager or shop Forman, I received no word back 2 months later. I have since found an AWESOME dude who does mainly Mercedes, Bentlys & Porsches. He finished their mess and repaired the issues. It ended up costing me another 5k after all of this nightmare. I have never felt so screwed over by a business. I had such huge hopes for this company. Definitely all HYPE. Message me for any info you would like! CARma is a B. ha!

Yelp
Brought my son here for his 9th birthday. He's a fan of the show so knew bringing him here would be a good idea. Jeff greeted us soon as we came in. He made the entire VIP tour amazing for my son. The entire staff was amazing and made son feel very special.

Yelp
Took my car in October 2017 because of ash damage from the La Tuna Canyon Fire in 2017, burns in the chrome wrap. Car has been there for 9 months and I am still waiting for my car. They treat you like nobody if you are not a celebrity. Chad and Lorenzo keep lying and say the car is almost done. Well WRONG! I went in today 06/02/2018 and took pictures of my Fisker, still sitting there 9 months later not done at all. I have been renting a car for all this time and cannot drive my personal car. This sucks!!!! If you need help to fix your car, PLEASE don't take it here. They LIE, TREAT YOU LIKE CRAP! Unless your name is MR or MRS CELEBRITY GO HERE, if your a average person with a nice car, don't take it to them. Discrimination of class or type of person you are is very obvious with these guys! SEE THE PICS and you WILL SEE YOURSELF, picture of the car when taken in October and picture of the car now. :( UPSETING AND NOT FAIR, I WANT MY CAR BACK.
google avatar

Yelp
My husband wanted to go here for his anniversary. When we got here- we found it very easily following the directions from maps. A step and repeat to take pictures. Take the tour. There are two tours available for $75 or $20. When we were there no one else was there so we took the tour and it was very personalized. Saw a car is being made from scratch all metal sheet work or no bond work ,mustangs cars to be shown at the Sema convention. Very cool very quick maybe no more than an hour of your time!
google avatar

Brandi B.

Yelp
This is for the tour only. And I'm not a huge fan but I do watch the show on occasion. We inadvertently stumbled upon the place. The tour was going into the shop and looking at a bunch of articles on the wall that featured the same celeb and his cars in half of what you saw and then continuing on a path above so you could look down and see them work without disturbing them. No picture taking policy, which is understandable. You really miss seeing the detail of the work at that distance. Not that many cars up front to show. You can't touch but didn't have anything open to peer inside and see. It's a garage with some fame. The owner was there and noticed the group of 4 of us but couldn't even throw a hand up to wave hello and it was not worth the admission.

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of the show and was super excited to stop by and visit the new Burbank location. According to the most recent episodes on Fox Sports this new location was built with fans in mind. I emailed a few days earlier to make sure no special plans were needed for a tour. I was told by Nico to just show up and have $20 bucks for the tour. I showed up on 4/16/2015 at 12:30 shortly after a large group just finished up their tour. When I arrived I saw Nico taking pics of Big Dane with the large group of fans who were just finishing up their tour. I asked what I had to do to take a tour and Nico took me inside where I paid my $20 and was greeted by a young blonde whose name I can't recall. She said she was new and could show me the tour. We started by visiting the mini car museum. The museum had Ryans wife's Mini, as well as three of Will I Am's cars among others. After taking pics with and of all the car my tour guide showed me the mini Sam Ash music studio. After the mini studio she took me to the cat walk where the catwalk tour starts with tons of magazine covers chronicling Ryan and West Coats Customs success. Once the tour guide went over the magazine covers we moved on the cat walk where she explained each department and what cars they were currently working on. Once the tour was done my tour guide took me back to museum/lobby where I was told all merchandise would have a 10% discount. While there's no doubt in my mind that my tour guide had no true knowledge of West Coast Customs I still enjoyed being able to tour the facilities for myself. My only suggestion is to have a someone giving tours who truly knows your brand and is passionate about it. When a fan travels 100's of miles to see your facilities we're on Cloud 9 and in my case the tour guide wasn't all that thrilled to be doing a tour it seemed. This facility is very nice and as of my visit was still being kept in good condition. I wish Ryan and West Coast Customs nothing but success in this new location.

Yelp
Jeff was amazing he gave me and my clients a lovely tour which we all enjoyed thanks for the tour! This place is amazing and staff are friendly.

Yelp
Walked in to get an estimate for a wrap...took about 5 min for someone to show up. Filled out the paperwork and was told to expect a call in 2-3 business days. Never heard back from them! Would rate 0 stars if possible. Avoid this place!
google avatar

Debbie F.

Yelp
I wanted to give my personal review of my West Coast Customs nightmare. I took my Lamborghini to their shop, they did an estimate for the insurance company which they never showed me. WCC told my insurance company they would put all new parts on my car and thats one of the many things they got paid for. I found out later that they had patched the main part on the back of my car and had no receipts for all the other parts they put on. Then it gets worse they were going to paint my car Matte Black but the new Burbank location had no paint permit yet for their new high tech paint booth so I was lied to and put off while my car just sat around for months in their shop, while they were waiting for their paint permit that never came. Ryan the owner told me he was sending my Lamborghini to his corona location to paint it on the weekend and I told him not to send it anywhere, he said it was to late he sent it. Later I questioned where my lamborghini was painted (Lint all over cars paint) when they closed the doors to the corona shop and they had no paint permit in new Burbank location so West Coast Custom has still not told me where my car was actually painted. My car is one of the fastest supercars in the world you never patch anything on a supercar(big Liability) you don't even patch the tires on a lamborghini,if you get a flat or nail you need to buy 2 new tires so the tires are level because of the high speeds that this car goes. I gave them plenty of opportunities to make it right with me then I finally went in to meet with them the VP because I told them I was not happy with the job they did he offered my $5,000 they got paid $56,000 from my insurance company for all repairs. They also keep Insurance money for things they never finished on my car because I did not want them to ever touch my car again. The VP was not very nice and I got upset and left crying because they had ruined my car, they didn't care and did not want to make things right. There is a current compliant filed with the Department of Automotive bureau and now they are giving me no choice but to take them to court this is pretty said that it had to come to this. #shameonyouWCC #myreviewonly

J J.

Yelp
I called them to ask if they could install a backup camera on my car. They said it was too minor for them to do. What a shame. Talk about Greedy.

Mike H.

Yelp
Honestly go anywhere else this place is an absolute joke they've had my car for over a year and the bill gets bigger and bigger and I've seen there work on my homies cars and it's not that good I wish I never went there with my car
google avatar

Judith R.

Yelp
Very disappointing experience! I clearly told my husband, the stuff they show on TV is just for the show and begged him to take his car elsewhere... He wouldn't listen to me. It's going to be a year since they took his car in and nothing yet. Their "real" staff turnover is ridiculous, we've delt with at least three different people, promises, promises. So the work is not even done by WCC, they actually outsource to other shops!!!!!! If our car is not ready by 5/21, I want my car and my money back so that I can take it to a real shop that knows what they are doing.

Gina K.

Yelp
I cannot say enough good things about West Coast Customs! I would give them 10 stars, if I could! This place is not only beautiful and like Disneyland for car lovers, but the staff is also very welcoming and knowledgeable! They answered all of my questions and treated me like a celebrity, which I am NOT! While they have a plethora of celebrity clients, they treated me no differently. I brought my 2006 Porsche Boxster to them to see what they could do to spruce it up a bit. It's a 2006 Boxster!!! Not a McLaren, not a Maserati, a BOXSTER! They worked on my little car with love and affection, just like it was any of their other televised projects. Lorenzo, is the absolute BEST! Cheryl, is phenomenal!!! Thank you so much, West Coast Customs! I can't wait to bring in my son's Mustang soon!

Yelp
I went to west coast customs they showed 0 service, they just threw random insane prices off the top of there head, and that show room looks like a joke it's like taking a kid to legit land. That wrap job is horrible it's all bubbly and flaking off. I walked in to do work on my car they said someone will be right with you when there was no customers in the store. The workers were outside goofing around and smoking cigarettes. I waited 40 min and just walked out. No one even said anything while I left. Not even tried to stop me from leaving. By the way I drive a 2017 Porsche 911 turbo. I walked in for some touch ups and wheels. Good job to the owner of west coast customs for building his empire like this lol

Yelp
So to start I really like cars; I love working on cars, I love driving cars, and I like to talk to people about cars. I heard from a friend that there was a mad max style car out in front of the west coast customs building. I was very interested because I love mad max and so I headed down to look at the car. Sure enough there is a mad max looking car parked right in front of the shop so I parked and took a look. It was nothing that interesting, just a maverick on what looked like a ranger frame it had a supercharger and some duel carbs. The bumper looked like I was made of plastic and painted to look like steel. They themed it to look like mad max's falcon from the new movie and video game. I was still interested in the car and wanted to know more about it. Who it was built for, what parts were in it, concept, and other car questions. So I went inside. Before I talk about that let me explain the outside of their building, it is covered in signs that say they are open and they have tours and arrows pointing to the entrance. So they obviously want people to come in. So I walk in and there is no clear direction on where to go. So I wonder around until I find a main lobby with a reception desk. I walk over and say hello and the kid working the desk looks up and says "hey". I asked him about the car out front and if he new anything about it or if I could talk to someone about it. He looks at me and says "it was for promoting the mad max video game and they cannot disclose information about the car" (the game came out four weeks before this) I looked at him and wanted to say so you know nothing about the car. He just stared at me and didn't ask me if i wanted a tour or point me to the gift shop he just sat there looking dumb. It just really annoyed me because they have sign that say come in, we are open, tours available. They advertise they want people coming but once I do there is no help. He didn't even try to sell me a tour or tshirt, who knows maybe I want they to build me a mad max car. The car was cheaply made and didn't even look remotely close to and Australian falcon. Do not go here, do not support their business. Let them go out of business so they no longer butcher cars.

Yelp
West Coast Customs has gone above and beyond for our group and we cannot thank them enough. On two different occasions, we asked WCC to help us custom design and paint items for us that were obscure and where detail was extremely important, with very little time to get it done. Chad and the WCC team were incredible every step of the way. The items looked incredible and were done in perfect time. In the second occasion, it wasn't looking like they were going to find an artist to work on our project, and they were nice enough to help us find other suitable options. This is what customer service is. For that reason alone, I would have been eager to come back to them for any future business. Most companies will tell you "good luck." Chad was with me every step of the way and helped me identify other suitable talent. In the end, those options were not going to work out. With even less time, Chad was able to find another artist and physically drove the items where they needed to be to get this done for us. He then sent them overnight just to get it to us in time the next morning. FLAWLESS execution and all the while calmed my nerves. We are now in preparation of doing several more of these and with his help, feel very confident that it will go smoothly. Did I mention that the artists are incredible and have impeccable attention to detail? Great group to work with!

Yelp
Today, I went to check out West Coast Customs and it was amazing! When I walked in I met Richard who was very friendly and seemed very happy to help all customers. I asked how do I go about getting a tour? He explained the cost and what you get to see inside the shop. You also get 10% off merchandise. Score! The guy who gave my group a tour was Sean, he was very knowledgeable in all the cars being worked on, the t.v. show, and was very professional explaining the no photography inside prior to entering. Being a Yankee fan, it was so cool to see Alex Rodriguez black jeep being worked on for a competition. We saw pictures of what it will look like once complete. If you've watched pimp my ride on t.v. or watched West Coast Customs king of customs you gotta see the shop in person. If you like cars, wheels, systems, fancy paint jobs, customization, etc. Swing by this shop! I bought some shirts afterwards and enjoyed seeing the shop. Great job WCC!!!

Yelp
I just want to start by saying that I'm a fan of the show but seriously guys, where is the love for the fans? I came here on 4/21/15 at around 4:30 pm. I was super excited to go see the shop at their new place in Burbank. We got inside and no one at the door to greet us or anything, we literally had to look for someone working there willing to help. There were 2 guys just walking but didn't even bother to say "welcome" or anything. We found the reception guest desk and there was this kid on the computer, I had to ask if they did tours. He said that the tour would be anywhere between 30 minutes to 40, depending how many questions we asked. I told him that me and my girlfriend came from San Francisco and that I was a big fan of the show. He just said "yea, the tour is $20 a person, and you get 10% off merchandise at the end". Half the tour was he going over the cars that you get to see for free. What made me mad was that he said that the Tron Audi R8 belong to Dr. dre! According to the show, the car was from Noel Lee collection, the owner of Monster cable. From there, I knew that I just threw away $40. I wish I could had got a shirt or a mug with that money, I really did but I was just sad and disappointed. Yes you get to walk above the shop but I just wanted a warm welcome. I got to shake Ryan's hand, he was walking to the garage, I didn't want to interrupt him by asking for a picture but at least I got to see the guy.

Yelp
This is the biggest shop I've ever been in. The overall presentation of the cars are great. The tours will give you a great sense of what it takes to build these masterpiece cars. I would recommend anyone around Burbank area to stop by and check it out, because the photo won't give you the sense of scale that this shop has.

Yelp
Walked into this place twice in the same week to discuss details about getting paint/wrap, rims, and a few other specs done for 5 vehicles. The first time, the sales person had "just left for the day". I decided to come back and try again, not understanding why no details at all could be given by the person at the desk. When I came in the second time, I was told "the sales guy is in a meeting" to which I replied "you only have one sales rep for the entire business?" to which they responded "yeah". There are a lot of people walking around with the shirt on including the 2 people in front of me and it's odd that only one person in the entire business can even discuss the services they offer, let alone the prices. Terrible energy in there and insulting business model. I guess they do well enough for themselves to turn away 5 vehicles from one customer. Obviously, I do not recommend wasting your time on this ego-trip of a sham business. I should have gotten the hint the first time I walked in. It's a wonder they're still in business.

Yelp
Oh man been wanting to hit this place up since it has open. As a fan of all there work it's cool to go and be able to walk in to the store and actually see what they have. The new building is nice. You can totally tell it's new. The cars on display looks amazing. The staff was friendly . they also sell west coast gear if you're into that . but over all good place to check out.

Yelp
MY EXPERIENCE WITH WEST COAST CUSTOMS. On June 6, 2016 I delivered my 1969 Chevrolet Corvette to West Coast Customs for some custom work to be done. (I paid $600 to have it towed there) I wanted to upgrade the engine, some suspension, new seat etc. Upgrades that a Mr. David Maxwell, An employee of WCC, said were possible. After meeting and speaking with Mr. Maxwell, a temporary , future pending quote was written up as an Invoice (4163) and he informed me that he would call me with a quote and the down payment I would have to make to get the work started. When my Corvette was there about a month with no call back from David Maxwell or West Coast Customs, I decided to call him back myself. I called numerous times (6x), left messages, not only for Mr. Maxwell, but to West Coast Customs owner as well, and no one Called me back. In the 3 months that my Beautiful Corvette was there I never received one call from anyone at West Coast Customs, Including Mr. David Maxwell. Only after I requested to speak to the owner, Ryan, and expose what was going on with my Vehicle I finally received a call from Mr. Maxwell. Mr. David Maxwell told me that the quote was almost completed (A LIE) and that he would call me back in 2 or 3 days with the actual estimate. WELL, Days turned into Weeks, and Weeks turned into Months with no call from David Maxwell. After Weeks and Months of Frustration with David Maxwell and West Coast Customs I finally had it with them and decided to go pick up my vehicle. When I got there I met Mr Kenny Williams (a Nice Gentleman) who told me that Mr David Maxwell had told no one at WCC about my Corvette being there and that no paper work could be found on my vehicle. It turns out that Mr. Maxwell told no one that my car was there for work to be done. When my corvette was brought out to me it looked semi-clean in the very bright sunlight, but when i got it back home from the tow driver (another $600 to have it towed back to my home) and looked at it more closely I noticed that my IMMACULATE PAINT had many, many Bird droppings and it was etched badly from the droppings. It also has some type of weird coating on it as well. It is OUTRAGEOUS when Mr Kenny Williams told me that no one knew about my vehicle being there or that David Maxwell did not tell anyone that the car was at West Coast Customs for work to be done. My Beautiful Corvette now has terrible Bird Drop Etching that does not want to come off and I believed its etch for life. I am expressing this in Writing about what happened to my Vehicle at West Coast Customs so that no one else has to go through with what I did. Keeny Willaims was gracious and tried to do the right thing, but by then the Damage was already done. I feel that WEST COAST CUSTOMS has a Reputation to keep and it fell through in my estimation.. Yelp
Contrary to the negative reviews I've seen on here. I visited here last year with my father who is a huge supporter of the West Coast Customs brand. When we got there you could see the front with gorgeous cars, the giant ' W ' symbol, and it honestly had a welcoming feel. Upon walking in, right away you see the gorgeous corvette and inside the shop were they are working on cars (the glass is see through). The VIP tour wasn't affordable for us but we did the $30 tour and it was an unforgettable experience. I really look forward to going back again one day and taking a full VIP tour because the cars we seen them working on we're out of this world. Thanks for making my dads day and being great hosts. I would recommend this place to anyone, we had an excellent time!

Yelp
Not a fan, treated me like I didn't understand what they were saying. Just because I'm a women doesn't mean I don't know what I want done with my car. Went somewhere else for paint and rhinestone work done and am happy with my decision.

Yelp
I recently took my 10 year old son to west coast customs as it is his favorite show. First = The parking is through the roof during the day.... There lot was packed, the side streets were packed, and it took a good 10 minutes for me to find a simple spot. Eventually we found a spot and walked to the building. As we walked into the building we were greeted by a receptionist named Rudy. He was very pleasant and made my son excited for the cat walk tour. Second= The cat walk tour runs $30 and it goes pretty quick. But it was cool to see the staff working on all the cool rides. Unfortunately as I was pulling out my phone - they said you can't take picture. Only in the ' showroom ' you can take photographs Third = After the tour we checked out the merchandise and I bought my son a couple shirts / a hat. ( he wears the hat everyday haha ) Overall I had we had a great time. I do wish their parking was a bit more easier but it's all good.
