Yummy!!! We found this Taco place today and wow what an awesome treat ☺️ As soon as we entered we were greeted by the owner and the cashier with a friendly smile 😁 This is first come first serve. When you first enter , they have menus available also a large menu above the counter if you just want to skim through real quick and order. When you are ready to order simply get in line wait your turn. Tell the cashier what food you would like also your beverages. If you ordered bottled drinks you can get them right then and there or with your food. They have fountain drinks available if you don't want bottled drinks. Once you have placed your order now it's time to find an open table, and within a reasonable amount time you're order will be brought to your table for you. Now it's time to enjoy your meal 🥰 This place is perfect for couples or single people's. It wouldn't be a good spot for business meetings only because of the limited seating but you could make it happen if this isn't a bother to anyone having a short meeting. Plenty of parking is available I would highly suggest you stop by here for some delicious tacos if you are on the lookout for a good taco restaurant 😉 Have an amazing day! 👍🤠👍

West Coast Taco Shop didn't disappoint! Their Carne Asada is simply mouth-watering—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The tacos are a must-try, with a delicious blend of SoCal flavors that will keep me coming back for more. Special shoutout to Rafael for his amazing customer service! He goes above and beyond to make sure every visit is a great experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone craving top-notch Mexican food and exceptional service!

Birria tacos, al pastor, and carnitas were all fabulous! We added a side of chips & salsa, beans, and rice! We look forward to returning in the near future! Staff was super nice

Hands down!!! Best authentic Mexican food in the area. California style cooking. I for sure will be returning to this location for now on. First off the elote I’m used to on the cob but in the cup is just as good. The rice is just how mom used to make it so thank you for the memories of my childhood meals. The tacos asada and pastor and super delicious!!! Just like the taco trucks you can find on any ca street corner. My wife had birria tacos and they too were delightful. Highly recommend this place if your looking for the best Mexican food.

I am obsessed with their 5 rolled taco with guacamole combo meal. It's my go to when getting take out. Will definitely be trying other menu items whenever I visit in person. Absolutely delicious. If you get the chance to visit here, do it! You won't be disappointed.

Small storefront in a strip mall with a handful of tables and cool artwork on the walls. Order at the counter and they deliver to your table when ready. I got Chili Colorado and it was delicious. Way hotter than I anticipated, it came with rice, beans, guacamole, crema and Pico. Loaded it up on flour tortillas and showed down. Slightly salty but flavorful. Here's the Breakdown: Cool interior art +1 star; good food +1 star; friendly service +1 star; big portions +1 star. I'll go back.

This little hole in the wall has great food. You get the food fast and with a smile. Love that they have soda in glass bottles here. Their churros are very good but pretty pricy. Everything else is very fairly priced. These are also clearly very devoted Catholics based on the decor. Love it all.

4.5 Really good and cheap birria pizza (even though I'd prefer if toppings were inside quesadillas) and burritos, but if you don't like refried beans, ask for a substitution. You need to get the queso, it was creamy and flavorful, it truly elevates the meal! Small seating area but nice and accommodating staff!

Great burritos! My husband finally found a burrito with the amount of meat he prefers, comes standard and he doesn't have to double the meat. The beans and rice have real flavor to them.

Very close to San Diego quality taco shop food. I recommend the carne asada fries (I added guac and pico de gallo for extra). Reminds me of Santana's fries in SD. Carne was full of flavor. They also have very flavorful salsas too.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but they have an extensive menu. The place is clean and the food is delicious and authentic. Rafael was very nice and friendly. I had a crispy ground beef taco and my sister had a "Happy Meal" which consisted of taquitos and a tostada. Will definitely visit again the next time I'm in Franklin.

This is the place to go in Franklin for authentic tacos. They also have barrio tacos and birria quesadillas - my favorite! My last visit I had a birria taco and a chorizo taco, and they were both on point. They give you the option for Cali style or Mexican.

If I could give this place a 10/10 I would!! The burritos are AMAZING! The service is quick and efficient. I had the west coast burrito and it reminded me of being back home in California! Can't wait to eat here again and again!!!

Excellent menu choices, great prices, awesome, friendly service. You have to be looking for this place or you'll roll right by. Simple, down to earth, doesn't have great curb appeal but the food is awesome.

West coat indeed! Growing up on the cental coast of cali this is what i grew up on. I was legit looking for a west coast chimichanga, as they just hit differently. The crunch fried tortilla cracks open to reveal the fajita beef and beens inside. Taking me back to my roots. The pastor taco was definitely good, but the chimichanga was the star of the show. Fast friendly and delicious!

This place is downright awesome. The guy working up front was extremely kind. You could tell he really cared about his customers. I'm hesitant to order guacamole at most places, but this place's is full of flavor! The chips were hot and fresh, and the birria taco was amazing. Only thing I have to say is there was a little bit of fat in the birria taco which I'm not crazy about, but hey, more flavor ‍ The cucumber like agua Fresca was really good too.

Finally. A real bean and cheese burrito. Best and only good Mexican since moving from California.

Decided to try a new place for a quick pickup on my way to work and came here. Sooo happy I found this place! The food is delicious and service is very nice! I've taken it to-go a couple times now but the restaurant is cute and I'd love to come back at sit around with friends.

I found West Coast Taco Shop from the highly rated comments here on Yelp. They were not wrong at all. I had the Carne Asada Burrito with brand and rice. So good. I got a take out order of enchiladas for tomorrow, just visiting town.

69 out 100 on last heath score. The staff were rude to requests and blared the most god awful music so loud you couldn't talk across a table. This place was sooooo much better when it was Oscars.

This place was NOT good. At 8:15pm, in a nearly empty restaurant, they told us it would be 5 minutes for the 5 tacos ordered. The reality was closer to 20. We tucked in and found the meat cold and everything ordered was flavorless - even the al pastor, which was incredibly sad. We mostly came for the birria, so I was hopeful it would be better. Not so much. Meat was fatty and just not exciting. It had zero flavor, cup of consommé broth also had zero flavor, and the birria tacos were the only ones not double wrapped with a second tortilla (why?!), so of course as soon as I picked it up, it completely fell apart, all contents falling out on the plate and into my lap, which was extremely frustrating. Bottom line: at $4 per taco, I would never come back. 2 stars only because it was edible and the server was friendly. Having grown up in California though, I can't imagine this place staying in business on the west coast.

Great service and great food! The happy meal is the way to go and if you are a tostada person then it is a must! My daughter enjoyed her burrito as well. The place is small and not very noticeable but look it up and stop by :) The guy at the counter was attentive and very nice.

We love this place! The owners and workers are so nice and the food is always great. It's so nice to eat in a place where it seems like "everybody knows your name".

I have been in TN for the last 7 years and I never had such a good birria tacos like these especially been a Mexican, the consomé was so good same as the salsas that come with it, we also try the fish tacos and they were incredible good, everything was so good that we even get tacos for to go. Lol. I definitely come back.

I've been to the location near the airport and this one, near downtown franklin. It's a shame birrias aren't terribly common at the spots near my house since this is quite the drive. Regardless, solid spot for good food. I had 5 birrias w the consommé on the side. $4 a taco if you're wondering. Menu pics on yelp look accurate. Would go again.

The West Coast burrito says it cost $9.50 on the menu, but I was charged $12.50. The man asked if I wanted hot sauce & I said yes, 4 please (1 oz). He said "No, that's too many. I'll give you 2".

It wasn't until just recently that I discovered the joy that is a birria taco and then discovered that West Coast Taco makes a very delicious birria taco. They e got all the Southern California tacos and Mexican foods. It's quick, cheap, and good.

Everything tasted good i recommend this place good service and ambiance. Thank you I'll be there soon again.

I'm from Southern California and it's the most authentic Latin food I've had since I've been here in two years please I implore you get their green salsa I put that s*** on everything I buy it by the cup. Tuesday fish tacos specials!!!

Amazing. I Loved it. I tried the shrimp taco, carne asada and carnitas. I make a better carnitas at home that I stole from la people but their carnitas are really close--just could be slightly sweeter. Their carne asada is FIRE. Their shrimp? FIRE. The sauce? fire. Love love love this place. Do not be discouraged by the hole in the wall--that means it's a good place! Love the people there and love the food. Amazing!

Best Mexican food in the area! My boyfriend and I eat here weekly and we have tried a variety of foods they have available. Everything we have had is delicious and highly recommend the Quesa Birria. Absolutely delicious !

My go to for tacos. Partly bc they are affordable but they are also consistently good. Always quick with to go orders or dine in. Staff is very friendly.

For a hole in the wall type of place they have some great birria tacos. These tacos are up there with Herban market tacos in Franklin. The staff is friendly and I sense this place is a local establishment. Everyone that walked in the manager knew them by name.

Best local taco shop. Don't be intimidated! It's cute small taco shop with fresh and authentic flavors. My favorite was the shrimp tacos and quesadilla.

Just moved to Franklin from SoCal. I was absolutely worried that I wouldn't be able to get my fill on good Mexican food while living out here, but I am happy to report that West Coast Taco Shop delivered. The guac was fantastic, my Jarritos was nice and cold, and the tacos were delicious. My compliments to the chef. I will absolutely be back for more.

Love this place. The food is great. The service is awesome. This is the closet to California food that we have found. I life their Al pastor and my husband loves their asada.

I'm from California so finding Mexican good that tastes authentic is very difficult. Anytime a restaurant has queso I want to run away. Mexican restaurants don't serve queso in California and it just doesn't taste good to me. Anyway, the rice and beans are so good. I thought I was in California for a minute. I ordered the carne asada taco and the shrimp taco. Both so good that I didn't even get a picture. I definitely recommend giving this place a try. I will be back!

I'm a so cali girl who loves some good, authentic Mexican food. I stumbled upon West Coast Taco shop and what a GEM!! Very hard to find places like this in the south. They even have breakfast burritos! SCORE!! This is our new spot for sure!

Personally, I feel like this I am really impressed! Much better than other more popular Taco shop, no bull! (Pun intended). This small storefront has ) tables of 4 and two tables for 2 inside and two outside for 2. The food was really well priced and the service was friendly as well as fast. Great job on some solid west coast style tacos! Btw, the Birria Tacos where FIRE!

This place was a great little taco shop. Food was pretty authentic. Good chips and salsa (which were not free here). Queso was just melted cheese, didn't have many spices in it, but if you love cheese it's good! Tacos were good size and very flavorful, rolled tacos were smaller than expected but best we've found in the area, steak fries were literally fries served with steak and cheese on them. Service was very friendly and place was averagely priced.

Great food! The salsa is very good. I like the red which is the hit one but they have a mild one with a great Smokey flavor.

We were in Franklin and wanted to try something new. Came across this place on Yelp and was very pleased! Friendly cashier up front, place was very clean, and loved the wall art. Got a birria taco, fish taco, carne asada burrito, and carne asada torta. All super fresh and delicious! We will probably be back for fish tacos Tuesday's since it's $1.50 that day!

best Mexican food we have had outside of California- fair pricing and a great menu that made it hard to choose. can't wait for my next trip to Franklin just so I can have this again!

Get the birria. You won't regret it at all! Seriously, this place is wonderful and such a great addition to the food scene in Franklin. Y'all keep up the good work (and the amazing food!)
