Although the furniture is cute, the delivery experience was incredibly frustrating. First, they canceled the delivery on the scheduled day without proper notice — I had to reach out myself just to find out what was going on. Then, when they finally delivered the bed, they forgot to give the white glove service team the screws and legs to build the bed. Very unprofessional overall. Definitely not worth the headache or the price tag. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I visited with my friend to her help. All of items are very trendy and great. I like the colors and decorations are perfect. It's very cozy and warm. We are very excited to try them all. She spent about $1200 for 3set of bad sheets and pillows and stander , others . I'm looking forward see them all set up on the bads.

I purchased a $4600 couch from here just over a year ago and was told the fabric I was getting was the most durable one they had for the couch I was getting. The couch is already pilling which I thought was unacceptable so I filed a claim with West Elm. I was just informed that there is nothing they can do for me. I told them this is unacceptable as I do not have any children or pets. There is no reason this should be happening. Unfortunately, they still say all they can do is refer me to a place that fixes furniture, but I will need to pay for repair.

Too sad the customer service is bad. I ordered over 5k last week at the store because the store manager did an excellent service. Otherwise we would have ordered online. Today we came to pickup some chairs, but the service provided by two of the girls was so low than I decided to cancel the 2 chairs and ordered online right on the parking spot. Will continue to buy online before we love the quality, however, the store will not see me again. As a business owner, customer service is my top priority, it is not what you say, it is how you say it.

My last resort. I have never left a review, as I believe businesses make mistakes and should have an opportunity to correct the errors. However, I received a custom sectional on December 5 with missing legs. I had White Glove delivery, and the delivery crew rigged the sectional, so we could not tell immediately. My son sat on the corner piece of the sofa later, and it collapsed. I have contacted customer service over a dozen times, and submitted numerous pictures, only to be told someone will contact you in the next 48-hours to update you on the delivery of the replacement legs. I still do not have legs for my 3-month-old sofa. Absolutley horrible experience. I have been a lifelong Williams-Sonoma (West Elm parent company) customer. From my wedding registry to three home models and pretty much every holiday… I would estimate that I have spent well over 6-figures with this company. Never again.

I love to roam around West Elm when I need some good home inspiration. While most of their larger furniture pieces are way out of my budget, I have found quite a few little knick knacky things over the years for my house. They always have some good vase options which I was collecting regularly at one point. I also really enjoy their kitchenware and we just recently replaced all of our everyday drinking glasses with their fluted collection. I am obsessed! I like to visit West Elm as the holidays are approaching because I've always been a fan of their Christmas & seasonal decor. I have scored some pretty good finds in their discounted sale section, especially right after a holiday ends and anything left over gets marked down. Shopping the sales is the way to go at West Elm. This particular location by Mall at Millenia used to host some fun events & workshops (not sure if they still do that), but we were even able to get our holiday portraits taken there one year in a really cute little styled vignette. The staff is always really friendly and helpful (even if I walk out of there without buying something 90% of the time). I do love how every West Elm is different and and each has its own vibe, so you can always get inspired by something new.

What a high-end furniture store! I came in looking for a new couch, they don't have many options for sectionals that recline. Bessie the couches, they had very nice bedroom sets and I heard that even though it's super expensive, it lasts forever. Looks like West Elm takes quality very seriously. I love the silverware and the throw pillows they sale and I think I might be back in future!

If I had to describe West Elm it one word, I'd say overpriced. They have some cool pieces, but the price just seems out of this world for some of them. One note, when they send you an email, DO NOT CLICK on anything in the email. This holds true for the whole Key Rewards family (Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, West Elm, and a few others). You'll get MORE emails reminding you that you didn't purchase it. So annoying. We did buy a cool lamp as we had some rewards for getting office furniture at Pottery Barn. I don't think we would have paid full price for it, but it was worth it with the rewards. We stop in occasionally to browse but usually leave without purchasing. For that reason, the 3 stars.

: Discriminatory Practices at West Elm I'm deeply disappointed with my recent experience at West Elm. What should have been a routine interaction quickly turned into an uncomfortable and disheartening ordeal due to the blatant discrimination I faced. From the moment I spoke with the staff, I felt like I was being treated indifferently. Despite being a loyal customer, I was spoken to condescendingly and made to wait and come to the store. The difference in treatment was obvious and distressing. When I tried to address the issue with the staff, I was met with dismissiveness and defensiveness, rather than an attempt to understand or rectify the situation. It became painfully clear that the way I was treated was not due to any oversight or mistake but was rooted in discrimination. No one should have to experience this kind of behavior, especially in a professional setting. It's disappointing to see that West Elm allows such practices to occur, and it reflects poorly on the company as a whole. I strongly urge West Elm to reevaluate its policies and training to ensure that all customers are treated with respect and equality. Until these issues are addressed, I cannot in good conscience recommend West Elm to anyone. Discrimination has no place in any business, and I hope they take the necessary steps to create a more inclusive and respectful environment for everyone. --- This review addresses the issues directly while maintaining a tone that encourages the company to improve. Are they overpriced? Yes. Do we own quite a few items from West Elm that have held up well over time (7-10yrs)? Yes. Did we pay full price for any of them. No. Hold out for sales or rewards and such. The fourth star is purely for the way our couches which have been tested to their limits by my two two boys (jumped on, spit up on, etc.) have held up remarkably well and spills simply wipe off. Other chairs and rugs we have from here have also held up remarkably well. I do hope you never have to use their customer service / call center. Many hours my wife and I have wasted trying to straighten things out. In store we have had much better success.

I purchased a Silky Tencel sheet set during the labor day sale and the color was completely off- the Elm color looks green online and looks grey in person. I called them to exchange the color- same price (albeit no longer on sale) but all color were on sale at the time of purchase. Packaging was intact since I saw the color I never opened it they are going to resell it for the non-sale price but because I wanted a different color they expected me to pay the difference. I have been a loyal West Elm customer for years, have their card an all and could not believe this customer service. Took the refund and will purchase elsewhere, disappointed.

Do not buy furniture from West Elm. It most likely will not be in stock, take months, and what they deliver is damaged. Ordered two new dressers and already on my third return. It's ridiculous, at these prices this stuff should be immaculate but it's not.

NEVER order from this company. I ordered three mirrors in October 2023. I paid $2,397.47 for all three mirrors including tax and shipping. I found out they canceled one of my mirrors and NEVER refunded me. I had to call customer service and after 3 hours on the phone with a nice front line agent and supervisor, they were able to process the one they canceled. However, my order was now only showing ONE mirror was going to be delivered for the price of 2! They had also randomly charged me for another mirror that was refunded the same day ($799.15). I have lost complete respect and no longer trust West Elm. So, in the end, I never got my mirrors and I paid a whomping $249.00 in shipping fees for nothing because they REFUSED to cancel the fee for taking a mirror from their distribution center to their delivery center. Unbelievable. NEVER NEVER order from them!

RUDE & Pretentious. I'm sorry... do you work at a high end furniture store where you can look down your nose at people, or do you work at West Elm. I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars at West Elm, as I am a designer and my husband is a commercial builder and has a trade account with West Elm for his business. We frequent the Dumbo, Brooklyn location and they are amazing-- even know us by name. We walked in and the woman could barely look up from her computer to address us. It felt as if she was judging us by he second we walked in the door. I could say so much more, but I won't. Worst west elm experience I've ever had. This location should be evaluated by higher ups at corporate.

My wife and I love the items at West Elm and that's why they received 3 stars from me. The service is terrible at this store. I've never been to a store where no one greets you or to be found. It's like they are scared to work. I have been to the store many times and every time you have to go looking for somebody to get some help. It's not like the store is packed with people either. There has been times where I have been the only one in the store and yet I still have to find someone to help me. My wife and I have decided we are just going to buy from their online website and not give the store business.

The worker named Claudia was incredibly rude and seemed to only care about the sale. She tried to sell us a chipped and broken item and when we asked if we could get any type of discount she said "no we don't do that". We love west elm but this location is most definitely under staffed and over worked.

4 Stars for a West Elm store that, despite its location, makes a point to highlight great local businesses. I'll start by saying that I wish West Elm was located closer to Downtown Orlando or somewhere 1- more urban 2- Where locals can be found regularly. With that being said, when I do I stop by West Elm I leave with a bag full of gorgeous odds and ends (as a result of some serious living room envy). The brand is always on trend in terms of the interior design themes of the season and yet none of their inventory feels rushed or poorly made in order to hit the market quickly. They have everything from large furniture pieces to small candles and everything in between to make your friends instantly jealous of your chic lifestyle. But the thing that pushes this store past an A-Ok rating is that they have a position that's specifically filled by someone who is supposed to ingrain West Elm in the community through local partnerships, events, and fabulous collaborations. This means that when you walk in to the Orlando West Elm you'll see things specific to the area that you won't see in any other WE around the country. Examples of local goods shown/carried at Orlando's West Elm include: Snap! Space photography exibit 99 Porch Therapy plant wall Reclaimed wood wall installation by Red Rhino Reclaim Local Notebooks - Nate Selikoff (Part of 'West Elm Local' initiative) 12' West leather goods (Part of 'West Elm Local' initiative) Rifle Paper Co. cards and prints (Part of 'West Elm Local' initiative) Anyway, you get the picture! Also, if you follow them on social media you'll find out about some great local parties they host including craft meet-ups by the fabulous (local) Sarah Hearts. Great local integration by a brand big enough that you wouldn't expect it.

Is it possible to rate negative 5 stars? That is exactly what the level of service has been with my order. We ordered a Henry Sofa on 11/29/2019 and it's apparently being assembled by Keebler Elves. No one at the "customer service" number has been able to give us a single shred of useful info. We've been told that it's lost, missing and in transit for over 2 months now. Oder#397333733830 Whom should I call to get this resolved? Made an appointment online at end of April to have an in home consultation. Sent in my photos and ideas as requested. Day of appointment I get a call from Justin saying that we couldn't do the appointment because we hadn't gone over covid rules. So they send me an email with three rules. Wear a mask, no sharing tools and have measurements ready for rooms. This could have been an email but was a phone call. The manager Kelly emails me and says they are under staffed and they can't get two people out to my house and they will call me back. (I get that) however, I Didn't hear from them from Kelly or Justin. No phone call Or email. I reached out to the customer service and they said they would have someone contact me within 7-10 days. I waited 13 days. Nothing Contacted customer service again and they gave me the website to schedule an appointment. The same website I went to to schedule the appointment almost a month ago. I asked for them to have someone from corporate call me back and they provided me another phone number and an address. This company makes it very difficult to spend money.

So disappointed with this west elm location. We went in on a Thursday afternoon while it was raining. Having just moved to Orlando from LA, my husband and I need a new dining table. We stopped at this location to check them out and not one single employee acknowledged us. Actually one woman looked directly past me and said hi to my husband (who was clearly on the phone) even though I was standing in front of him. I spotted at least 5 employees who were all busying themselves near the registers. I understand if you have something to do, but aren't sales more important? There were a few kitchen items I picked up, but we decided to put them back and leave. Having frequented the west elm in LA and Burbank, the customer service here is extremely lacking.

My husband and I were looking forward to seeing what West Elm offers as we are looking to add some furniture/decor pieces to our home. We were greeted by the sales associate and proceeded to take a look around. The couches were similar to what I saw at crate and barrel but a bit more expensive. They do have a good selection of plates and various glasses. The store is a bit small for my liking. I think the quality west elm offers is better than crate and barrel. However, I would stick to shopping online rather than visiting the flagship store.

1 star because of associate Kristi #245229 (blonde hair, caucasian, female) She does not belong on this team because everyone else here have always been friendly, pleasant and happy to help. I don't want to get into the details on here, but it was so bad that even my partner after we left said she was really rude and hostile towards you. I would love to speak with the store manager in regards to this employee. It was such a bad experience that I will not shop at this store until she is no longer a part of the team and I come here A LOT. I'd rather pay the shipping to order through the website.

We are in the process of redoing our family room and stopped in West Elm to look at their selection of furniture and rugs. The staff there are incredibly knowledgeable in regard to design. We worked with Tucker and he was fantastic. His ability to look at things and how they will pair with one another was incredible. He was able to make suggestions that we had not thought about. The furniture was high quality and the prices reasonable. I would highly recommend West Elm.

I'm a big fan of West Elm. I always thought they were overpriced, but since I have been seriously shopping for furniture I have realized for the quality and design of their pieces are very affordable compared to similar brands. They do run sales, not too often, but if you catch them at the right time you can get a good deal for a fair price. I was shopping for a sofa. The sales associate, Jordan, was VERY helpful. He wasn't over bearing at all and gave me all of my possible options for payment and delivery. He gave me the necessary paperwork and answered questions about each item that I was interested in. Usually when I go in this specific store I don't receive the best customer service depending on who is working, but Jordan made me feel better about my decision and made me eager to shop. I ended up applying for the West Elm credit card that night (no interest for 12 months) via phone and placing an order for the Eddy sofa (25% off at the time). Very seemless process, did not take long at all and customer service was excellent. Unfortunately my sofa is on backorder until September as of now. Hopefully West Elm can speed up the process. Shopping for furniture for the first time can be stressful but with the right help the process will go smoothly. I recommend researching other brands and comparing your options to make the best decision for you.

Such a beautiful store! This West Elm, located near the Millenia Mall, has everything. My husband and I went there looking for furniture for our new house, worried we'd find nothing. However, it was a wonderland! I found an adorable swivel chair with pleated fabric on the outside that was comfy and had a smooth turn. I also loved the MidCentury collection of bedroom and living room furniture. Sadly I'll have to save more pennies as the chair is $799. If that's your price range, get over there fast as I imagine it won't last long. If your budget is a bit more modest, you still have lots of options with the dishware and artwork which features pieces by local Florida artists. Whatever your budget, be sure to check out this West Elm as they have the most chic and prettiest displays. Definitely eye candy if you're visual like me. Oh, and be sure to bring all your pennies!

I really like this store and have few west elm pieces. I like it but don't love it. I feel like if you want great home accessories and a nice place to look and feel them, this is your ticket. Homeware items are good quality. I really don't care for their furniture. Let me correct that, I like the way it looks but and would look great in a photo but it's really not super high quality or made for older people. Great for folks starting out or in a guest or 2nd home but it's sort of expensive it's mid century and hard to get in an out of. You fall into the couches and have a hard time getting out, same with their chairs. I love all of their tables, from dining to side, to occassional tables. The bed (daybed) and linens are terrific quality and interesting glasswear and OMG, the table settings are really nice as well. Overall, a competitor to pottery barn.

WHAT A SCAM!!! I bought 2 chairs, 2 tables, a rug, and an 82" couch at the Thanksgiving sale. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!! They charge you flat rate shipping of $249 for orders over $1000 and they hold ALL of your items until the last one is ready. My delivery was estimated between Dec 12th and Dec 26th. I was moving into a new house and sold my furniture after placing this order with West Elm. On 12/8 I get an email, couch is backordered: Dates have been revised. We apologize for the delay. Monday Feb17 to Monday Mar 02 FLAT RATE DELIVERY: Items will be held until all items are ready to schedule for a single delivery. POSSIBLY 3 MONTHS BEFORE I GET MY FURNITURE BUT THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD IN ADVANCE FOR THE ITEMS BEING HELD UNTIL THE COUCH IS READY TO SHIP. I cancelled the couch and placed an order at the Orlando store for the 92" version at a higher price. Since it is over $1000, they are charging me another $249 flat rate delivery charge because they sold something they didn't have in the first place. West Elm Customer Service was very rude and refused to waive the shipping charges.

I love the staff at this store! Kenlyn helped me find the perfect dining room table for my new home. She was so patient with me while I looked through every single option with her. She was so funny and personable. I love when a store has sales associates you actually want to talk to and work with! She made me feel so comfortable and I was able to choose a great piece of furniture.

Im a fan yet u can buy cheaper items from this store elsewhere - I am still drooling over the tree branch candle bra for $99.. I would still wait until it goes on sale -- Not worth the $$ for just a "candle holder".

This place is DANGEROUS! O.M.G. Everything in here is gorgeous and I want everything in my house. Let me just say that I'm moving in the next couple of months and I absolutely want to get everything from here. Everything they sell here is very modern, it goes great with every home, and it's a must have piece. With that being said, I want every thing from this lovely store in my apartment. But there's so many cute things in here that I may need to just buy a house. You know that craziest thing? That I don't mind that the prices are a little bit more on the higher end, I still want to invest in furniture from here. I rather save up a bit and work a bit harder to have something from West Elm that I'll love than go to Ikea buy something cheaper, hate it after a few months (if it doesn't break first). Anyway, hopefully this review was helpful to you. But as you can tell I think this place is awesome and you need to check it out!

There was an issue with a brand new piece of furniture I had ordered and unfortunately it took us getting it home to assemble it to realize. Such a bummer but the management at this store really stepped up and made me a happy customer as I'm expecting a brand new table to be delivered this week. Customer service like this is what makes West Elm stand out. We will definitely be back to purchase other pieces we need due to this.

We were going to buy a beautiful floor lamp for our living room... but guess what? They didn't have it in stock and the store has a policy that if they don't have the item the customer has to pay for them to get it and then sell it to them! So you pay the store's own shipping! No way. Their prices are not cheap to begin with and they want you to pay for THEIR own businesses shipping? It makes no sense. Corporate greed much?

The prices are a bit higher than most other big box furniture stores, more in line with Williams Sonoma and crate & barrel. The quality is definitely amazing and the service is always pleasant here.

When I first went to West Elm, I didn't really feel it and left without purchasing a thing. However, I decided to give it another try and have since become a raving fan! While the prices may be higher than other stores (i.e. IKEA), these are high quality pieces that will be more of an investment. They also mail and e-mail a lot of coupons, so it sometimes pays to wait until an offer comes your way. The staff is also friendly and always willing to help. It's a fun store to browse and get ideas for your house. Definitely a place a visit monthly!

I am so happy to welcome West Elm to the Orlando market, gone are the days when I would have to pour over their catalogues and website to shop for things I wanted from them. It feels great to actually touch the things you want to buy and behold them in life size. West Elm is the best addition to the Orlando/ Central Florida home furnishing market in ages. If you like modern, stylistic furniture, home accessories, knick knacks for your home. then this is the place to go. I highly recommend that everyone check this place out. Fans of Crate & Barrel, and Scan Design will be highly appreciative of this store. I must mention that their stuff is reasonably priced.

I love this West Elm... This location is larger than my local Location in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The West Elm - Orlando location has a"Flea Market" area where you can find marked down/Clearance items. (Item that are Similar to the ones you will find online). FYI - These Christmas trees are for sale..

My wife LOVES this place. From the 'design eye of a straight guy' they have a mix of styles. Some of the furniture is rustic, with a modern twist. Lots of metals and sparkling glass. The seating - couches, chairs, etc - are some of my favorites. A good place to find the odd stocking stuffer or gift for the hard to find friend. Can you say Owl Coffee Mug? Medium sized store, which leaves me baffled as to how my wife could spend an hour or more putzing around, but she does. One complaint is that for some reason my ATT serviced iPhone cannot get good service, which really makes keeping up with my Fantasy Football teams on Sunday a pain. Staff is nice and there are worse places to hang out. So, if you are a guy following your significant other, grab a chair and chill.

Came here for a crafts event hosted by a local blogger. I had never been to this location before because I never had a reason to. They carry beautiful pieces for the home from modern furniture to quirky owl mugs. It's great to browse and check out the pieces on display. Pricing is definitely higher than , say IKEA, but the quality seems to be there. I was impressed that our group ( about 4 tables of 7-8) were allowed to paint and craft on several of the tables there using display chairs for seating. Made me think that this place was very laid back and not as intimidating as it seemed from the outside. Would gladly come back again maybe for a unique home accessory or for a special gift.

I love West Elm as a furniture and decor store! How disappointing to go to their location by Mall of Millenia. It took me 1 hour to drive there from where I live. Upon entering I saw 5-6 employees behind the main counter. They looked up and a few of them made eye contact but not one said hello, nobody asked if they could help me, not one word. I was surprised to say the least. As I browsed around the store I saw a short bald headed gentleman who was talking with a taller lean African American man and both were working on a display. They were 3-4 feet from me for a couple minutes and neither even said hello? It happened again as I was by a round table toward the back of the store. Their was an older woman with longer grey/dark hair who was looking up something on a computer. She looked up at me and never said a word. I stayed in the store just a few minutes shy of 1 hour. I made 3 full rounds around the store. Never once did any employee communicate with me in any way. My intention was to buy 6 dining chairs, a mirror and a bench along with some decor items. I changed my mind after that experience. It was clear they wanted me to self serve and not interact or engage me. I wonder if the store manager was part of the 7-8 people who were working that day? Not one person encouraged any employees to engage any of the 6-8 customers I saw in that hour and I didn't see one sale at the registers the whole hour I was there. Nobody was on the floor restocking. All employees talking to each other or looking at a computer or working in a display BUT not one caring about the customers in front of them. I'll take my business somewhere that I'm not invisible. I hope you take this review in the spirit it is given. I'm totally surprised at the lack of customer service. You should be too. I don't believe this is a one time thing. There were too many employees ignoring customers for way too long and nobody was busy.

I tried unsuccessfully getting the attention of four sales associates that were standing around chatting. There was one other person in the store being unassisted as well. I would have loved to order a second Paige Sofa and two Terrace side tables, but not one single associate seemed interested in assisting me, let alone acknowledging my presence. I could have done a cartwheel and it would have gone unnoticed. From now on, I will strictly order online and avoid this location at all costs. As a dedicated West Elm client I am deeply appalled at this ambiance of this store.

To me, West Elm is not the most expensive furniture store out there, but it's certainly on the higher end of things. But you'll be hard pressed to find such good looking stuff a a lower price. The selection is large, and I like that you can customize every couch with dozens of material/color options. If you've got the money, this is a good place to furnish your home.

Although the store is like a candy shop full of wonderful decor, the quality is not the best. Drawers stick, handles break, surfaces scratch. Looks great, but on a par with Ashley...and Ashley is much cheaper.

Really great experience overall. We are currently looking for a home. I think we are doing this thing backwards! Maybe we should buy the home first then look for furniture..? Right? Lol overall it was a great welcoming experience! Will be back, hopefully very soon!!

We order two chairs last June and it's been nothing but problems beginning to end. We're told they were a stock item and delivery would be 2 weeks. Turns out they had to be made and after a series of broken promises for delivery and a defective chair when they did arrive we received a replace for the bad chair today with no call or notice. The delivery guys were going to just leave it, for me to attach the legs, at the front door and leave. I opened the door and surprised them and insisted they bring it in and attach the legs. Asked about the wobbly chair we still have and they said it's not on their ticket. Like so many sub-par businesses, West Elm is good at taking the order and running your credit card but getting what you ordered is where they fall down. Hard to believe they are owned by the same owner of Pottery Barn who we've bought lots of furniture from and received terrific service. Little to no communication and nonexistent follow through appears to be West Elm's trademark. My suggestion is to look elsewhere to avoid the hassle and stress.

I usually go into this store and IKEA on the same trip, as they're practically right next to each other. While IKEA is big and overwhelming and somewhat sterile, West Elm is cool and well-curated. The store flows well from sample room to sample room, offering a good selection of colors, textures and inspirations. It does feel very much like walking through their catalog. Prices are comparable to the website (I saw sale items in the store at the same price I had paid for them online), and stuff does go on sale, so while it's still more expensive than IKEA I feel the store is priced fairly for modern-but-not-quite-as-cookie-cutter furnishings and decor. Staff was totally unobtrusive while I was there - ideal for a browsing trip, but you might have to seek someone out if you need advising.

I, too, am thrilled that West Elm has opened in Orlando. The style is modern but warm, simple yet surprising. The brand's strength definitely lies in its decorative accessories (drapery/drapery hardware, wall art, bed & bath linens, picture frames, etc) more so than its furniture (lots of pricey assemble-it-yourself case goods and inspired but inexpensively constructed upholstered furniture). I have been pleased with the service I have received at this location every time I have visited.
