West End Station

My boyfriend and I have called West End Station Home for almost three years now, and we truly love the community and staff! Jackie is AMAZING. She made moving into our apartment a fantastic experience from start to finish. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a stress-free move-in process and continues to do so as we still live here. We can't forget Tim, our maintenance man, who ensures that all of our issues get fixed in a timely manner. We truly appreciate his dedication! West End Station is an affordable, luxurious, and welcoming complex to call home!

Since West End has requested my review, more than once, here goes.. We moved in back in June. We’ve enjoyed the apartment itself and the common areas are nice and fairly well maintained. The events are a nice touch and the pricing is fair. The staff is cool. However. We’ve had our share of issues.. 1) We smell weed throughout the hallways on a regular basis. Our upstairs neighbors smoke it and literally blow it out the window so it’s not unusual for it to be heavy and lingering as we come and go from our apartment. The office claims they have a ‘no smoking’ policy, but this is clearly not enforced. 2) An even bigger pet peeve though is the noise. Again, these same upstairs neighbors like to play their bass at random times (day and night), which we can hear LOUD and CLEAR in our unit. I have POTS so don’t sleep great as is and have been woken up at 2-3am by their nonsense on more than one occasion. I have video footage from one of the times it happened. We also hear very heavy stomping on a regular basis coming from their unit, which again, has interfered with my sleep and work as I work from home. I have complained to the office at least twice about these two issues and have left a note on their door as well. 3.) When we moved in, one of the residents had a video camera affixed to their patio and appeared to specifically film women at the pool. It would pan and follow them. Very creepy. After we reported this incident, we noticed the camera no longer pans, but it’s still up. I’ve lived in apartments before and never recall having issues of this nature. Unless we see changes, we will in all likelihood move as soon as our lease is up, with the dealbreaker being the second point. Update 1/29/26: It’s 4:30 am as I write this. I have been woken up once again by these same inconsiderate neighbors despite using heavy duty earplugs. It sounds like they are using tools of some sort this time. There’s no point calling a safety officer as the length (and type) of these sounds are highly unpredictable both day and night. Basically psychological torture and appears as though they never sleep. My husband and I need it as we, like most, have to work for a living. Annoying x1,000. West End should invest in better soundproofing since they won’t enforce address noise pollution and yahoo behavior.

Great place to live! Office Staff is friendly! Jacquelin helped us find our perfect place and always helps us with whatever we need. Maintenance Team (especially Tim 😃) are always quick and efficient. Fun events are planned every month. Great amenities. And just a close walk to downtown for restaurants and shopping!

I want to highlight the exceptional service Tim provides as our maintenance technician. He is always prompt, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable. Each time I’ve needed assistance, he has resolved the issue efficiently and with a positive attitude. His reliability and professionalism make a big difference in my experience living here.

I finally was able to move back to Winston and secured a 2 BR at WES. Tristyn helped me through the entire process. He helped me pick out the perfect home, schedule all the move in utility items, and was so awesome on move in day. I have never had such an easy transition and he was certainly a huge part of that ease. I can not recommend this place or him enough... if you are looking to move downtown, welcome home!

I've had a great experience with both the maintenance team and the leasing office. The leasing staff is always friendly, professional, and quick to assist with any questions or concerns. They made the move-in process smooth and continue to be approachable and helpful. The maintenance team deserves a special mention. they are prompt, skilled, and respectful whenever they come to fix something. Every request I’ve submitted has been addressed quickly, and the work is done right the first time. It’s clear that they care about the comfort and satisfaction of residents. Overall, it’s refreshing to live somewhere where both the office and maintenance staff truly care. Great service all around!

Absolute top-notch people to work for if you are a contractor. Timothy and his manager hope were Amazing and we’re very kind and polite. I can only imagine how well they treat their residence.

had issues with AC/heating overnight. put in a request that morning and within a couple of hours, Tim from maintenance had swapped out my thermostat and got it all fixed up! he was courteous, efficient, and very kind.

I live for n the first floor ever since we have moved in here there has been nothing but noise complaints on our behalf. Our upstairs neighbor sounds like he's in a marching band all throughout the night. We have called the courtesy officer a plethora of times. He doesn't even work half the nights. And all this dude gets is a slap on the wrist. I've been to the front office multiple times and they have us the hopes of switching floors. Instead of giving him a violation. After 10+ complaints they finally gave this dude a violation. Which on their behalf is a violation to their contract. We have documented videos THAT THE OFFICE REQUESTED sent to the higher manager. Was told we would be able to move. Then they backed out to make us pay almost over $600 more in rent than what we pay now. Ridiculous. The office personnel would rather stay on their butts then get something done. They can tell you off the bat 'we know this is an issue' okay SO WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?!?!? being a disabled veteran it's hard enough to try to even sleep but the man that lives above me as altered my life because I cannot get ANY peace or quiet to rest. Sleep is detrimental to my health and prior to being accepted into this apartment complex I disclosed this information. Front desk personnel ensured this was a well working, thought out, problem solving complex. On the contrary THEY ARE THE OPPOSITE. It is sickening that they get your hopes up to move to have somewhat of a better quality of life then go back on their word. Would not recommend living here if all you want in your life is chaos and problems to not be solved. Simple fact of the matter, kick the people out that are in violation of their lease. Unbelievable that they do not take their tenants into consideration but would rather have someone pay rent instead of fixing ONGOING issues.
