You couldn’t find nicer people. I just knew my lawn mower was done. He was checking it out and did some kind of slight of hand and within 30 seconds my mower was running again; good as new.
Turns out It wasn’t the lawn mower. It was us. My BF and I.
“Bob” , the owner, told me what it was. A very simple thing. Cable line came unhooked. He just hooked it up and wasn’t going to charge us anything.
You know he could have said “sorry we are going to have to keep her for awhile” then charge me some 200 bucks to get it back after 3 weeks fix n. I would have been none the wiser and would have just gone ahead with whatever. He was honest nice warm easy going etc.
I will become a regular customer for whatever small engine repair needs I have. As a matter of fact I was so impressed with him that I left my lawnmower there to have the cable line replaced and do some blade sharpening. All of which would have been functional for quite awhile yet , but hell, since I was there and I liked his service, why not ?
