This was such a fun place to stay at and by far the best priced placed we stayed at on our trip. The daily breakfast was enjoyable and it was nice meeting people from all around. Gorgeous views from our room of the sea. The lighthouse tour (self-guided) was not to be missed. Careful though if you have trouble climbing stairs that become more like a ladder - in order to get to the top, it might be a challenge for some. Staff here were so good too and they made an extra effort in recognizing our wedding anniversary. Such a peaceful place.

Do NOT plan to spend less than 1-2 hours here! We were so disappointed we made only a quick stop. Stunning scenery and an amazing museum inside the lighthouse, and not busy at all. You learn so much and see intriguing items as you climb to the top, where you're treated with a beautiful view. Excellent value for the ~$10 ticket (yes you can go inside even if you're not a guest at the hotel). It's open till 9pm so makes an excellent trip if you end with a walk on the beautiful beach to watch the sunset :)

Our room 12 was clean but smelled quite strongly of mildew. It was so damp our sheets felt wet. I enjoyed the beach stroll and access to the lighthouse. It was a nice place to spend our last night on the island. The breakfast was good but the French toast would have been better with real maple syrup and a protein. The on-site cook was lovely. The breakfast area could use more tables so that people don't have to go outside to eat. Lighthouse Willys down the road is a great restaurant. The pan seared scallops are delicious.

Such a great hotel and beach front property!!! Staying in the lighthouse for a night is quite the experience. Staying any longer than one night, I'd suggest the normal rooms, they have a great view of the beach and ocean. They also have a small walkout balcony. If you have strong legs and don't mind heights, I'd highly recommend the lighthouse museum. It's quite interesting and enlightening 😂 Very charming staff and a wonderful home cooked breakfast. I can't express enough how much we enjoyed our stay. Just a short walk away from a great little restaurant as well. Makes for a perfect stay.

Beautiful, beautiful hotel location! The rooms were clean and standard. I had two ocean view suites and one Lighthouse suite. Lighthouse suite was more of novelty, but the view is with the other suites! Staff were very friendly, breakfast was delicious, and it was so nice to hear the story of West Point and how the community came together with the Lighthouse. Definitely want to come back! We regret not staying here longer.

This is one of the nicest places you can stay on the island. The views are stunning, you are right on the beach, and it's quite secluded and peaceful. The staff are so friendly and kind. There was a small mixup and they went absolutely way above and beyond to correct it. I would visit here again in a heartbeat. We stayed in the tower room in the lighthouse the first night and it was so cool. I've always wanted to stay in a lighthouse and it didn't disappoint. We stayed our next night in the adjacent hotel and the room was gorgeous with a lovely balcony. I couldn't recommend this place enough if you are looking for a relaxing place for a holiday with a gorgeous sunset. Thank you so much again to the staff, your hotel is so lovely.

Wonderful place to stay. Breakfast was pretty good and the museum was wonderful. Staying in the lighthouse guest room was quite the treat! Sitting by the beach listening to the waves come in was very enjoyable.

No regrets spending our last night on the island here! Breath taking views. Quiet beach that extends for miles! Breakfast was delicious and offered more than your regular continental grub. Room was clean, relaxing (even with our German shepherd) and the bed was very comfy. Light house museum is a nice touch. All together worth a stop!

Yelp
A beautiful place to stay right on the beach. We chose to stay in the lighthouse. It is a quaint room with such high ceilings and an attached bath. We went straight to the beach after checking in. There are lifeguards on duty at the Provincial Park beach. It was a beautiful evening. We must have been there over an hour. On Monday nights the restaurant on the wharf is closed. There was an option for ham and scalloped potatoes in the common room. We went to the O'Leary Co-op for supper and snacks. It was fun choosing as the tower room does not have a fridge. The quick supper meant we had time for a long walk on the beach. We got back in time to climb the tower to the top of the lighthouse. It was beautiful! Tim got a couple of sunset shots. We slept well. The bed was comfortable , but the wind and rain was loud. I could hear the surf with all the windows closed. It felt cosy. There was a TV on the wall above the wardrobe but we did not watch it. There is so much natural beauty surrounding this Inn. The breakfast was good the next morning. There were fried potatoes, boiled eggs, French toast, cereal options, bread and bagels, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea, and juices. Check out was a breeze!
