West Seattle Brewing Co. (TapShack)

The atmosphere is cool. The music is good. The beer is good. Had a stout, great flavor. Limited food menu for a guy who can't do dairy it was disappointing since we had a dog and hard to find dog friendly patio spot for lunch nearby.

Nice little bar located on Alki with a view of the beach. I like the fact that it has Adirondack chairs with cup holders. Pretty reasonable price with a great variety of beers. Perfect spot to enjoy a beer and people watching!

The pizza is not worth coming back for (it was like chewing greasy cardboard even though I prefer thin crust pizzas) but the beer is good and I got to watch a seal playing in the water for $20 so I loved my time there! I would probably go back but just eat somewhere else next time.

Great location and beer is pretty good. I loved that they allowed dogs in the patio. I didn’t like that they don’t allow outside food. Their food (pizza) doesn’t meet my dietary needs. Overall, great brewery!

Great place to grab a beer and people watch. I also recommend getting tacos from next door to have with your beer! The staff are quick and friendly! Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable.

Beer was decent. The wit was consistent with the style. The outside space is nice and has a decent view. We didn't try any of the food while we were there.

This place was so great. Swung in for the end of the day sunset view. It did not disappoint. Staff was super friendly. Also liked that they had some different Ciders.

Perfect Alki location with beautiful views of the Puget Sound. The staff is fun and gets to know their regulars and the beers are some of the best around. Highly recommend if you want a great place to watch the sunset

What a cute outdoor spot on the beach for hanging :) Solid selection of drinks on draft too!

Gross food with rude service. The pretzel wasn't cooked all the way. The beer cheese was cold and tasted like garbage. The guy pouring was extremely rude. We ordered 4 beers to share between 4 so we could get a good taste of the selection and they were nothing to write home about. Our group will never be back because of how we were all treated.

Best spot in the beach. Hours vary between summer and winter (12-9 winter, 11-10 summer). The people are great the beer is good, you can bring in your own food so nothing to complain about.

My first adventure to this spot on Alki. Awesome experience! I really enjoyed the Offset cider & the hot spice wine on a chilly Winter Solstice night. The pretzel & pimento cheese was warm & satisfying for my snacking needs. I was massively impressed with the woman behind the bar that was dealing with a masssssive moron. He made his name very well known- So, with that! Dear Brett, You're a loud, entitled idiot & you need to be nicer to the folks that work at this establishment. Screaming at your friends that you'll, "always be the crazy asshole" as they are asking you to not be that way..... truly telling.

First weekend of a warm Seattle and this is the place to chill. Good folks, good beer, good location.

Happy to have a beer spot again down here at the beach! Tasty beers, nice staff and a sweet view of Alki. Lots of outdoor seating and dogs are welcome too. Looks like they had a great opening weekend. Welcome to the hood FP!

Great spot right along Alki Beach, plenty of outdoor seating and people watching. We stopped in here to enjoy a few ciders. Daniel served us, nice friendly dude. Great spot to grab a couple pints as you are walking along the boardwalk.

New favorite brewery. Great tap list and a setting that rivals Westward. 50 feet from the water, plenty of seating outdoors, pups are welcome. Will be coming back often

Just had a couple of wonderful draft beers on the Alki waterfront celebrating the opening of FB Brewing. They have updated the outdoor furniture and exceeded my expectations. Had a couple of Cosmic Stratergery IPAs, there were out of this universe, stellar! Great beer, served at just the right temperature, great staff and great people watching. I'll be back! Where else can you get sand between your toes and work on your tan in Seattle? Thanks for taking West Seattle Brewing to the next level. Alki is lucky to have you!
