Warm sandwich is a nice treat, they have oat and soy milk for your morning drinks, fresh fruit and veggies, salads, dairy-free ice-creams and chocolate spread, plant/based HU chocolate and more.

Superb pastries that are far better than Tahoe House. Espresso is ok. Small selection of grocery items, but decent quality. Pricey for the convenience. Sandwiches can be decent or bad.

Great little market, deli, and coffee shop. They have a great beer selection including local beers, a wine cellar, an ATM, the basic food essentials, a bit of dog/cat food, and much more. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is from 7-10 and lunch is from 10-3:30 Only downside is it’s a bit pricey, but it makes sense given the location

I’ve been to the west shore market a handful of times. Most often and I go there to just get a sandwich. Today I stopped in my with my wife and we got the turkey club. That’s how much is amazing! The staff there was very super friendly to on our way out we made sure to grab a cookie to go with her sandwich. But I really like about this place is there is also a clean restroom. It’s a great place to be able to stop. It’s right off the highway 89. It’s also super easy parking.

Great little market to stop by and grab some goods when you're at lake Tahoe. Their deli is phenomenal. In the evening they serve flatbread pizzas which are absolutely delicious. Great selection of snacks, beer, wine, champagne, cold drinks, chips and more.

They were kind enough to make my daughter a lukewarm "hot" chocolate so that she could enjoy morning coffee with her parents.

Westshore Market is the perfect little local gem! It’s a cute, well-stocked spot that has pretty much everything you need in a pinch—plus some great surprises. Their coffee selection is solid, and the deli sandwiches are next level. I got the vegetarian and the BLT with avocado—both were absolutely delicious. The vibe is great, the energy is warm, and the staff are super friendly. Love having a place like this to pop into for quality and good feels.

This is my Go To place before I settle on the beach. The fresh baked desserts vary, but man if you're there before they run out then you'll be deliciously rewarded. For lunch, you can't go wrong with the Cubano. The flatbreads are mouthwatering too but they serve them later in the day only TH- SAT.

Love this little place. Whether you are in need of a coffee, a yummy sandwich, some items to cook breakfast, some drinks, or a snack.. west shore market is the place. Their sandwiches are super good. The staff was very patient with me and helped me figure out how to order a coffee like the drink I get from Starbucks (I'm horrible at ordering coffee outside of Starbucks app) I really appreciated them taking the time to explain to me what I was trying to ask for. 10/10 every time. And the coffee was really good! Always a great experience at this market.

I wanted a good BLT or BLAT and Yelp led me here and it was great! First I had the daily soup special Bean and Sausage soup which was so delicious with beans veggies and ample sausage in a tasty broth. The BLAT also hit the spot with applewood bacon, fresh lettuce tomato avocado and mayo on a toasted bun. I was so full after this meal! The service was excellent with customer satisfaction a priority from the servers, busboy and register clerk. This location is both a market, coffee shop and cafe all in one and provides a nice place to hang out, bring your laptop, plug it in and be comfortable. A great find and definite return.

The cutest market place! Super happy with this market and its offerings - I was in search of organic + healthier alternatives to take to my picnic to the beach and this was just it. They had basically everything you could need and more! I will have to come back to try their gelato, pizzas, and cafe earlier in the day

Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Cost to worth it rating: 3 Opentableable: no, it's a market Return worthiness: yes Highlights: - Blat : very Californian ;-) My mom said it's one of the best sandwiches she's ever had. 5 stars - Italian: hub liked the mix of meats, but would have preferred another more substantial bread option than sliced bread. 4 stars. - Pastrami: my dad enjoyed it and liked their addition of cole slaw. 4 stars - Turkey: worked for my son. 4 stars - Make your own option: fill out a form at the counter. - Sandwiches were made pretty quickly. - Some seating with few tables to enjoy sandwiches there. - Cute store: stressed wood walls, selection of snacks, refrigerator options, and apparel with the store logo. Lowlights: - Parking: very hard to park as it's on the main highway and by other establishments and a beach park. Only a few spaces in front and outside of that not many options. Liked our to go lunch here and would recommend it in less crowded times to be able to snag parking.

We came here yesterday to get a phone charger and instant coffee, which they had both and the associates are kind and service was good which is why we didn't do 1 star. They have a good selection of items. Came back today to get some sliced deli meat and a couple sides of sauce since we forgot our condiments at home and we did not want to buy an entire sandwich. since the market is labeled as a deli, we figured this would be okay but turns out they do not sell their meats or cheese in the case by weight individually. They directed us to this fridge with packages of grocery store meats and cheeses. We ended up buying some pesto, cheese, and meat. Upon returning to our campsite we realized the pesto had mold on it and both the deli meat and cheese tasted really off. We checked the best by date and the pesto had expired a week ago. Didn't end up eating any of it and I should have taken a picture and brought it back because it was not good.

This is a great spot if you are wanting to grab a coffee and a pastry or a quick breakfast item. Their coffee and espresso are fantastic and the service was great. Their baked goods are amazing and are made fresh daily. My kids loved their cinnamon rolls and that is why you can only buy two per customer. I will be back to try their sandwiches. They also have a small market with fruit, drinks, and other household essentials.

As a local, this place feels like home. Sandwiches and flatbreads are good, I love the London Fog tea. Great selection of items and drinks for a small market. They are always brining in activities for the local community. Staff works hard. Owners do a lot to support the community. This was my daughter's and my first place to go when we moved here and my fiance and my place for our first date.

I have driven past this market dozens and dozens of times and I am so glad I finally got a chance to stop in. It is right outside William Kent campground and was an easy walk from our camping site. The night before there was thunderstorms and so our campfire dinner and my morning coffee efforts was thwarted from the scrambling of getting things into dryer space. After this debacle, waking into West Shore was a welcome sight: coffee and breakfast options. It was pretty busy for an early morning but I took my time preparing my coffee at the coffee bar and enjoying the vibe. I also ordered a lavender honey scone and it was EYE OPENING LOVELY DELICIOUS! My nephew and I shared and enjoyed this treat outside under an umbrella'd patio picnic table. There is a cozy small dining area inside where you can enjoy your market/deli choices. The William Kent beach is right next door and I plan to return and pick up a deli salad/sandwich and enjoying on the beach.

You're gonna love it. They have everything you want and need. The prices are obviously not Costco so don't get worked up about it -- you are in Tahoe and you need some higher level food and beverage gear. Go here. And just pay the nice people! It's worth it. Solid options and solid quality. You can even get It's Its! Do you hear me? Where else can you get an It's It in Lake Tahoe and a Grateful Dead trucker Tahoe cap? Plus some Jaegermeister in the freezer! Just go soak in the lovely vibes and walk out happier and just a little poorer. It will be worth it. You can trust me. I'm an LA guy and I know what you want in the woods.

We have been here several times over the past few years. It is a cute market and sandwich shop in a location convenient to places where we enjoy going -like nearby Eagle Rock Trailhead. On a recent visit, we picked up what we usually get - the Tuna Melt Sandwich. It is toasted with avocado, white cheddar, and pickled red onion. In my last review from July 2022, I noted that the price of this sandwich was $12. Online, it lists the current price as $15. In actuality, we paid $16 plus tax = $17.32. I know that prices everywhere have gone up but that seems like a lot for a simple Tuna Melt, even by Tahoe standards. However, we will likely stop by here again to grab a quick lunch to go when in the area. They are reliable and the staff have always been kind.

Poor coffee flavor and execution of espresso drinks. Worst part, the barista starts multiple drinks at the same time and walks away not monitoring things. This resulted in a fly landing in one of our lattes.

Cute little market I found while driving around the lake. It's a small market, coffee, and sandwich shop inside as well. I ordered the tuna melt. It was really good and simple but on the pricer side for the portion size. I would stop in again if I was in the area for a coffee.

Vegan-friendly! This is not only a market but has a deli and cafe with pastries. I went for a vanilla latte, which was way too hot , but the gal was kind enough to remake it for me. I think the espresso to milk ratio may be off but that can be easily fixed if you request two shots or more for a larger latte. Was absolutely thrilled they had VEGAN options in the plant-based milk options and baked goods section! I had a berry scone. There is an area to sit if you want to stay and enjoy your coffee or sandwich from the deli. The market also had other vegan options which was amazing. Found vegan s'mores and more!

We had a large sandwich order placed here. The sandwiches were ready right on time, just as ordered and so delicious! The staff even helped carry it out to my car. This is a cute little market with some local goods. We will definitely be back.

Sandwiches were nice and hearty and tasted fresh. A little over priced at $15 and it doesn't come with a drink or sides. Coffee bar connected to the market is okay. There are better options in Tahoe. Outdoor and indoor seating. Cute decor in the market and you are able to buy grocery items.

This place is always awesome. We usually stop in to grab some sausage and crackers and a drink before we drive home from Tahoe city back to Sacramento. For a nice spot and Service has always been a very friendly.

This clean, well-maintained store has everything you might need in terms of convenience. More importantly -- it has excellent sandwiches! I chose a roast beef and asked for it toasted: it could have been a little better warmed through the middle but it was delicious. And they have a great selection of "gourmet" chips and sodas. Best of all is their local tshirt and sticker collection. I've seen many of these, but these items are unique. My fave, which I bought for my partner: a tshirt rendering of the Adam West Batman on Lake Tahoe on a SUP. The cashier was also obviously the owner, who was observed to run a tight ship. I love this place and will stop back in every time I'm on the west side of the lake.

Literally a one stop shop just outside of Tahoe City. Right by a lodge, across the street from a rental shop (for bikes and water sports stuff), and next to the beach. It's conveniently located for anyone on the west shore! They have: Coffee Gelato Market goods Jewelry And the deli. Let's talk about the deli. Their sandwiches are top notch. The youths working the deli work so well together, like a well-oiled machine. I'm appreciative of their ability to take custom orders and complete them without fail. I judge a deli by their Italian sandwich and theirs was DELICIOUS. Service was relatively quick, even though there was quite a line. And the cashier was super friendly :) highly recommend this spot for lunch if you're in the area!

We stopped here for a quick bite on our way to Palisades and I think place might've been my favorite part of the trip! It's so cute inside. The deli offers amazing food. I had the Italian sandwich and a honey lavender latte and both were absolutely famous! The staff were so lovely! I can't wait to check this place out again in the summer!

Always used to stop in for a baked good on our trips around the lake. Now they hardly have anything available by noon. We will frequent the Tahoe House down the street from now on. They always keep their goodies in stock and are very courteous and kind which is also lacking at the Market lately

Such a cute place! We grabbed some snacks from their market area and also enjoyed a club sandwich and potato salad from the deli. Great service and ambiance for a quick lunch spot.

There is an amazing baker here making the tastiest cinnamon rolls. I came by the market in February at opening when the rolls were coming out of the oven. They normally come with cream cheese frosting for those who like the richness of it, but I'm allergic to cream cheese. Dinorah, the baker, was kind enough to make a simple sugar icing for the two cinnamon rolls I bought. I ate one warm while at the market. I had the other one after snowboarding and it was still fantastic. I'm back here in April and l've bought 8 more cinnamon rolls to share with friends, but honestly, I've eaten most of them. I call before I come to request the sugar icing, and she's so kind to accommodate. I haven't tried the other baked goods as I'm obsessed with the cinnamon roll, but they look delicious.

Just go. Right by the Lake Association and public beach and Sunnyside. A wonderful coffee joint, deli, gift shop, and market. I loved my BLAT sandwich so much! S loved the cold brew. Italian sandwiches so good too. A true Tahoe gem.

I believe they are overcharging on purpose. Their guac was priced at $5.99 and they charged $6.99. When it was noticed and brought to their attention, they basically said we could return it or keep it, but they were not going to refund the $1 difference, and supposedly there's no manager on site. The next day 2 people in my party bought the same item in different transactions and were charged different prices. This is something they probably do all the time since a lot of customers are tourists and will likely not go back to complain. The two stars are for the café they have in there. The drinks and pastries are good and the lady at that counter was pleasant. The man at the deli counter was pleasant. However, the next day, the women that were working, there were not so pleasant.

I love this place. Coffee is delicious and deli area has great food! Plenty of seating outside in the summer and a good amount in the winter. Cant get everything here, but they have some interesting and unique foods. Beer/wine/liquor selection is amazing. Clothing quality is awesome!

We grabbed breakfast here our last morning in Tahoe and found it quite busy on a Sunday morning. However, the line at the cafe moved very quickly. I ordered an iced Golden Milk Latte and an Avocado Toast, both of which were ready in about 10 minutes. The Avocado Toast was delicious, and a larger portion size than I had expected - very filling. I loved the cotija cheese and the lime slices on the side. Unfortunately, I really didn't like my latte, so I would get a different drink next time. My boyfriend tried a sip as well and wasn't a fan, so we ended up just throwing it away. Other than that though, still a good experience overall.

These sandwiches were nuts!! Just simply amazing and delicious combinations. Everything about it I loved. Also the inside of the market was so cute and the coffee bar was great too! Loved my iced dirty chai! Market prices are expensive, but the sandwiches and coffee 10/10.

We were about to head to the beach and a friend recommended the deli inside this market for lunch! I had never been here before--what a cute spot! They have some lovely home and decor items for you to browse through plus shelves of snacks and drinks. They have a refrigerated section of alcohol, shelves of hard liquor, and even a wine section in the back if you need a place to get some drinks. There is a deli as well as a coffee shop inside. There is indoor seating if you want to eat there, but we chose to take ours togo to enjoy on the beach. The wait wasn't too bad, especially since you can shop around while you wait. I got the tuna melt sandwich and my husband got the pastrami. Both sandwiches were really good and came with big portion sizes! My husband said the pastrami sandwich might be one of the best he's ever had! The only downside is that they cost $15 each and did not come with a side of chips or anything. I know this is all Tahoe pricing, but I've been to other lunch places in this area where you can get a lot more than just a sandwich for that price. Overall it is a nice spot and I will plan to come back to try their coffee shop in the future!

Great spot to grab a delicious sandwich or flatbread! Had all the conveniences needed in case you forget something - we grabbed a toothbrush - and bonus is amazing coffee and pastries each morning! Gourmet snacks, IPAs and probably anything else you might want! Perfect spot to sit outside and take in the view (although you cannot access the lake without a pass in this particular spot). Service was also good - probably even better if you're a local.

Deli sandwiches were delicious! Service amazing! Glad we stopped in. Long day in the water at Meeks so it was everything we wanted before heading home. Beer on draft was refreshing as well.

Not impressed. The pastrami isn't even made on site. Overpriced for some very average sandwiches but what else is new in Lake Tahoe area lol. What's most concerning is that there was a lot of flies around even their kitchen. Eat at your own risk!

Food: solid, fresh, tasty sandwiches. only real letdown was their fountain drink selection (Pepsi) lol. 4.5/5 Took a little detour on our way to Homewood and stopped by West Shore Market to fuel up before hitting the slopes (ok, when I say "hitting the slopes" I mean it literally as falling down is 50% of my ride down the mountain lol). My partner drove and I navigated, thus I skimmed Yelp and West Shore Market showed up with an admirable 4.5-star review. As we entered, we were quickly welcomed with a homey atmosphere filled with coffee and pastry options, a lovely market, and a sandwich bar. The sandwich menu is quite simple, no more than a dozen sando options (and a few salad choices). I asked the cashier what their most popular sando was, and he said the top contenders are The Club and The Cubano. Both sounded delicious, but I opted for The Club, a lightly toasted and soft French bread filled with turkey, avocado, tomato, lettuce, and their chipotle mayo. I loved that the bread had the perfect outside crunch, but that it wasn't too hard that it hurt/scraped your mouth. They also filled the sandwich well -- not overfilled and messy, but a great ratio of filling to bread. I thought the chipotle mayo could have been more flavorful, but nonetheless, overall a pretty solid Club sandwich. My partner ordered The Italian, and I had a few bites too. The Italian is filled with a number of meats, some lettuce, and maybe a drizzle of vinegar or vinegar-based dressing? I'd highly recommend The Italian. BOTTOM LINE: Solid sandos, and they might be in the best in Tahoe! And only 5 minutes from Homewood.

A nice market with really good sandwiches and flatbreads but the absolute biggest jerk of woman serving customers. I have lived in this community for over 50 years and was excited to take family from out of town there. We spent over $200 on food and souvenirs. The level of inexplicable rudeness from the woman behind the counter was unbelievable. She was aggressively rude when we ordered, ushered us out at 8:00 on the dot because it was closing time, and insulted and harassed my brother in law when he went back 2 minutes later to get a coat he forgot. I will NEVER visit this place again. Made me embarrassed that someone like her even lives in our community. The date of our visit was the evening of Friday, May 24th in case you are interested. My call to your store to talk to a manager was unanswered, another bad move!

Great market, fantastic atmosphere. They have sandwiches until 3 pm and make fresh flat breads from 4 to 7 pm. The flatbreads were absolutely perfect! Crispy bottom, fresh toppings (I had the lemon artichoke one and it was amazing!). Reason for the 4 stars is because I wish the deli was open all the time so we could get their sandwiches for lunch and dinner!

Adorable Neighborhood Deli When you don't want to trek all the way to Safeway, pop into this convenient, pricey, little deli and store. Mouth-watering handcrafted sandwiches range from $10-$12. Fresh ingredients are fantastic, but packaged chips and drinks have massive mark-ups. Gourmet cheeses, luxurious jams, fancy salami and high end wines beckon. Poke around the locally made sundries near the entrance. If a tea towel, ceramic dish, or coaster catches your eye, don't wait to buy it. Pretty things sell fast, and who knows when they will have them again. Conveniently shore up your pantry here.

I am fortunate to work from home in Truckee. This afternoon I needed a break and wanted to go over to The Lake to get outside and away from the desk. A local realtor mentioned West Shore Market in a flyer I received via email. I checked it out on Yelp and decided this was my destination. It is an early fall/late summer day in Tahoe, what a loverly drive along the Truckee River. I had my sights set on a pastrami sandwich. When I walked into the market I was hit with a full coffee bar to my left. A general store with necessities and tourist items of course. And the deli was straight ahead. The place was open and clean with an old time feel. My sandwich was on point. The bread was fresh and although toasted was soft. The pastrami had a sweet something in it that hit the spot. I typically put mustard on mine but after the first few bites without it, that's how it went down. Can't wait to go back.

This is the lakefront coffee shop Tahoe has needed. It's also got some pretty tasty sandwiches and craft beers too. No to mention, it's also a market with a really nice selection of locally made food, wine, and crafts. This review is really meant to highlight the coffee shop experience I had this past week. The long line moved quickly as the staff kindly took and correctly prepared our four orders. The coffee was strong and had a quality, rich flavor. Clearly fresh, like the Honey Lavender Scone with Brown Butter that had just come out of the oven. Golden crisp on the outside, moist and slightly sweet on the inside, scented with lavender and honey flavor, this is the scone all other scones can only dream of being. Seriously, I am looking forward to the day this scone graces my morning again. I tip my shades to you West Shore Market. Y'all nailed it.

This market has a bit of everything! It's small but very cute. Right along the water, it's a great stop to grab food, drinks before you lounge in the beach. You'll find... Beverages: beer, wine, splits of champs, canned cocktails, hard kombucha, full bottles in the back Food: salami, cheese, you entire picnic necessities To-go: sandwiches in their deli Coffee: brewed coffee and pastries and ice cream! They have plenty of outdoor picnic tables for seating- perfect in that nice sunny day. Public restrooms are nearby, but I think they also have their own. Bike racks available out front. A go-to for your beach needs.

We went for lunch there on two separate days and I got the veggie sandwich and the special on Monday which was the fried chicken sandwich. I highly recommend both of them. Also the soup on a cold winter day is perfect!
