West Side Wok & Konata Sushi Bar

West Side Wok did a great job with our catering order on relatively short notice. They were friendly, flexible, and went out of their way to deliver to us on time and to our specifications. We ordered six large platters of sushi and our guests were delighted with the chef's sushi selections. Thank you West Side Wok!

The food is light,fresh,and tasty not heavy with oil. We requested no msg. The Thai volcanic chicken was very tasty and the tofu vegan vegetable dish was excellent. Soup was very good.

Good quality Kosher hole-in-the-wall type take out. Really great Thai food, and sushi too. Note, there is no indoor seating. Order ahead of time and pickup only. (Or have it delivered.) For pickup, I walked in and ordered. My food was ready in less than 10 minutes, really rapid turnaround!

The subgum wonton soup may be the best kosher soup in NYC. It certainly is the best kosher soup in NYC at a reasonable price. It is full of flavor but not too salty, and the meat and chicken have excellent consistencies. It's also just always piping hot even after a long ride to your table. Beyond the soup, the sushi is reliably very good. Everything I've had from there has been at least very good, and most things, even if not cheap, are reasonably priced. For its price point, this place is amazing. You won't spend much time interacting with the staff, but they are actually nice, especially for a kosher takeout place.

Great local kosher establishments should be recognized when they provide tasty dishes and great service. The several times we ordered takeout were all great experiences—guy on the phone very helpful, fast delivery, and of course food was delicious. Asked for bright green steamed broccoli 🥦 and was crisp! The Thai chicken soup is very savory! Will definitely order again.

We had a very disappointing experience with West Side Wok. We placed an order last night at 4:51PM for immediate delivery. At 6:30PM our order hadn’t arrived after at least 5 phone calls that was unanswered I finally got through. I was told they are running behind and it would take an hour at least. I asked them to cancel my order which they said they would and refund my credit card. Subsequently we ordered from Amsterdam Burger which arrived within an hour. At 9:00 PM West Side Wok’s order happened to show up OVER FOUR HOURS LATE from when it was placed!!!! We called they apologize promised to credit our card. As of now it hasn’t been done. West Side Wok is disorganized, unprofessional and worst crooks. I have never written a review before but people should be aware who they are. This is not our first unfortunate incident with them.

we ordered the MILD curry- it was uneatable. except for the potatos and rice not being cooked- the curry was so spicy we could not eat it. and i usually like spicy food. my lips are burning from just two bites, as if acid was poured on them- and i preferred to go to sleep hungry than continuing to eat.
