I sat at a table and waited a decently long time and ended up going to order at the bar. So the start up was a little slow but once I placed my order everything came out timely and I enjoyed a chocolate martini and some truffle fries. The atmosphere is very nice with dimmer lighting and music videos playing it’s a vibe! Ill be going back :)

It was packed inside - definitely hopping on a Friday night. But the service was still fast, friendly, and helpful. And the music selection was great, playing old (Take Me Home Country Roads by John Denver) and new (A Bar Song by Shaboozey) hits. I loved my blueberry lemon mule, and my husband enjoyed the watermelon special. The Really, Really Onion dip was phenomenal (the house chips are some of the best I've ever had), and the dumplings were pretty good too. Brussel sprouts were a little crispier than I like, but that's entirely a preference thing.

It is a small restaurant and bar with good music. This is an excellent spot for socializing and enjoying drinks. I ordered only one appetizer, and it was yummy.

Great cocktail and appetizer lounge. The appetizers are made from scratch and the cocktail menu is fun. This is a very cozy but lively place to go. The appetizers are amazingly good, not bar food. Live the atmosphere and vibe here. I tried the Cloud 9 martini( delicious and beautiful) and pretty in pink martini. Also great. The meatballs and sliders were huge. And very shareable!

The enclosed patio is nice, and a good space for our big group with a bunch of basketball youth! Food choices may be a little too fancy for my bunch, but that's okay. We enjoyed the experience, service was great. The drinks were super cool!

Came here for happy hour with my fiancé. A great spot to work from if you work remotely. They had some music videos playing in the background. Great place for a date night, girls night, or guys night or birthday. Definitely a perfect spot for drinks and appetizers. They have a spacious patio and spacious indoor space. I ate on the patio. The food was very good! My favorite thing on the menu was the chicken quesadillas and chicken wings. The wings were grilled perfectly and finger licking good! The staff was very attentive and customer service was awesome!

Honestly, I think the food and drinks are great. But when staff is constantly on the hunt for who they can kick out next is a big turn off. Won’t be back again.

First time at West End Omaha and I'm already plotting my return. Showed up yesterday on a random snowy afternoon while visiting friends in the area--heard nothing but good things, and wow, it delivered. Walked in around 2:30 pm on a total snow day and basically had the place to myself, which was kind of perfect. The vibe inside is exactly what I want in a bar: dark, moody, a little sexy, with dim lighting and rich wood tones. Total escape from the bland strip-mall parking lot outside. Night-and-day difference the second you step through the door. Happy hour runs every day until 6 pm (huge win), so I grabbed the Toasted & Roasted martini for $9--yes, it comes with a toasted marshmallow garnish that actually works--and it was dangerously good. Sweet, smoky, strong... one of those drinks you sip slowly because you don't want it to end. Paired it with the buffalo chicken sliders + fries and demolished everything. Sliders were spicy without being overkill, sauce was on point, and the fries were perfectly crispy. Service was friendly and quick even though it was quiet, and the bartender checked in just the right amount. Prices felt fair (especially with happy hour), and the whole experience just felt... cool. Like the kind of neighborhood spot you brag about finding. Already texted my local friends that they've been sleeping on this place. West End Omaha, I'll be back--hopefully next time with a bigger group so we can try more of the menu. Highly recommend!

Met up with a friend for happy hour on a Thursday and we grabbed a spot on the covered patio! I had a Captain & Coke, and my friend went with the French Blonde. For appetizers, we shared the truffle fries and the crispy roasted Brussels sprouts (hands down the highlight of the night). If I could figure out how to make those at home, they'd be a weekly staple. So flavorful, with a hint of BBQ glaze and crispy bacon bits that added the perfect crunch. Our server was friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!

What a cute and cozy atmosphere! You walk in and just seat yourself & the waiter came over with water very quickly upon our arrival. They also had a heated patio area that you can sit at too. The drinks were sweet but not overly sweet and didn't have that strong alcohol taste, which I prefer! I was also glad they had a pick 3 option as well because there were so many things that I wanted to try and I was glad I went with the pick 3 because everything was exceptional. I will definitely be back!

I visited WestEnd with some friends to celebrate a birthday. The space is pretty large, and we had no problem getting a table. I was really impressed with the large cocktail menu, and I was so happy that they had quite a few true mocktails since I'm pregnant. I tried the virgin spicy marg, which was great and definitely spicy! I also had the brisket quesadilla which was very tasty. Thursdays is 25% off if you show your teacher badge :)

This is a great spot for drinks and apps. If you're looking for a couples night out, this definitely has a great vibes. It's informal but upscale-ish. Like you could dress up, or dress down and fit right in. We came on a Saturday night. I opted for an espreso martini, it's a little creamier than i care for but it was still good. Like a crazy person I switched to a spicy skinny marg. I liked it. I like that they have an extensive mocktail menu, and 1/2 strength drinks! We also got some apps and some entrees. Very good portions, a little pricey, but not too much else to mention. Service is quick, bathrooms were clean, and the food was great! It's not just bar food, they really put effort into their menu.

Byyyyyyyeeeeeeee West end is by far my favorite place ever. Every drink is amazing and every single food idea is amazing as well! I love the sliders, the pot stickers, the hummus is literally addicting and I dream about it when I haven't been in awhile. There is plenty of seating inside and out but also a bar inside to sit at. Service is fantastic and they have amazing happy hour specials that I am pretty sure run daily. The gummy beat martini is my favorite drink here but they have my others that are just as good! Love West End!

Was craving a good espresso martini and stumbled upon this place. It was super packed at 10 PM on a Saturday night. We were able to squeeze into a table in the corner. They had a really large menu of appetizers and martinis and cocktails that all looked amazing. Be warned, if you don't like a lot of vodka in your martinis don't order a martini They definitely make it worth the money. However, I had a dirty chai martini, and it was phenomenal. They had it so beautifully decorated for Christmas, but I could also tell that they took a lot of thought into the decoration for the whole year. Make sure you keep your eyes open for the Stepbrothers painting. They had a large nine panel screen that was playing music videos, which I found whimsical and entertaining, but that's definitely something to know if you're looking for a quiet place to have a cocktail this would not be it. At least at this time of night on a Saturday. Looking forward to coming back to try more drinks and the food!

Tried this place for happy hour. There was just a few others in the place when we went. The service was pretty good and the food came out quickly. The cocktail I had was decent. It was sweet but refreshing. The sliders were decent. Overall everything was filling but left me wanting more. The place was quiet and a good place for conversation. May come back for drinks.

We came within the first hour of opening today. Service was a friendly smile and attitude. Definitely good service to start. The room is dimly lit for intimate conversations. Plenty of seating and they had patio service as well if we wanted. Neat artwork on the walls and two big screens that were playing music videos throughout our time there. Our drinks came out quickly. We ordered the pick 3: crispy brussel sprouts, truffle fries, grilled wings/west wing style. They came out in decent time but weren't quite hot.. more like they had been left room temp for a lil longer than finish to table. The fries were good despite their temperature. Very crispy and a nice aioli to pair with. The brussels were also delicious despite temperature. Very tasty. The wings were the hottest thing on the tray. So juicy and flavorful. Would definitely get again! So I assume they made the fries and brussels before the wings were done. I didn't find it bothersome enough to speak up. Still don't but can see how others might. Perhaps they need to do a different way of preparing so that everything is hot and fresh not just one of three. Just my take! As for drinks. I got the BestEnd Margarita which was alright in comparison to others. Not the best. I then got the Buchanan's colada off the limited time menu and that was fire! Should be permanently on the menu but that's my taste. My friend got the strawberry martini hold the spice and she enjoyed it. Overall decent first time and will try again if out that way

We went to WestEnd Lounge last night. The drinks were very good and the food was amazing (nachos and sliders). It was super busy and had a great atmosphere. We will be back!

Came for the yummy gummy martini stayed for a light lunch. We had the chicken quesadilla and meatballs. Would absolutely order both again! The staff were friendly and were quick to serve and help us.

I have been there numerous times and have always had great service. I love martini Tuesdays and for a lounge the food is great and the portions are enough for at least 2 people. I tried the meatballs and were 3 good sized meatballs in a sectioned plate with a side of garlic bread with each one! I would highly recommend trying the Westend in Elkhorn.

Visited with a friend for a weeknight happy hour. It's an upscale but comfortable vibe inside, and we grabbed seats at the bar. Nice cocktail and martini menu, I tried a mule and a margarita. Presentation was nice and cocktails were refreshing. We also shared the "pick 3" appetizer. There is plenty of food to share and all very good! The bartender was very friendly and checked on us often. Will definitely keep this spot in the happy hour rotation!

This lounge has it en pointe! The service is excellent and the drinks are tasty. They even have a "taster" of four drinks at 5 oz size. The price is usual, the decor stylish, and the seating is comfortable. The food is tasty but the menu needs updating. The sliders, on the menu, say the portion is three sliders in an order. It's actually 2 now, apparently, but it does include fries in the third space. No real suffering, just something to note. We'll still be back.

The food and drinks here are all great. Had an Eagle Rare and my wife had the French Blonde. Had the wings with house dry rub. Haven't had anything better!

We recently stopped in to begin a night out after hearing great things about their appetizer menu. And they did not disappoint! For being around the holidays, the staff was ON IT! Very nice, attentive, and helpful! Although it is more of a "bar" and the music was louder, we had no trouble chatting with our group of four! The hummus was easily our favorite app. And all of our drinks were delicious!

We enjoyed happy hour on a Friday noonish. The apps were great! Their chips for the queso have a special seasoning which made them very tasty. Would recommend the prime sliders also. Service was great! It's a little dim inside but very classy looking place.

We went for HH & took advantage of their drinks & appetizers menu. Their cocktails have a flair for sure & what we appreciate is a pour to the top! I have a few favorites, but if you can't choose they have a flight of 4 martinis to sample for $26. Their onion dip with hand cut chips are a must try! I enjoy their chickpea hummus with pita chips, altho I wish they had carrots. They also serve flavorful grilled wings. They have a good selection of bar food/snacks. It's a comfortable setting & we always look forward to going.

The food, drinks, and staff are fantastic! We love the chicken quesadillas, pot stickers, and the steak crostini's. Their martinis, manhattans, and margaritas are great. One of our favorite places to go to!

Decided on this establishment for happy hour with friends that live further out west than we do. Service was prompt and polite. Very much a lounge vibe. I had both a Manhattan and an Old Fashioned. Both features a lot of ice, and the old fashion was not well mixed. Tasted as though it was constructed in the glass sugar and bitters first and then base spirit on floated on top. First half was very strong spirit forward and last half very sweet. Even after repeated mixing with the stirring straw. The food was pretty standard happy hour appetizers. The hummus plate did come with a generous portion of pita which was welcome and necessary. A safe bet for happy hour if you're in the area, good not great.

Visited this place way out in west Omaha for a quick happy hour and apps after work with a couple of friends! Inside was a dark somewhat "boujee" atmosphere many tables and a bar to sit at. they also had an enclosed patio with removable clear walls, TVs on the wall, and different seatings available. We chose to sit on the patio because it was finally a nice day out! We started with some drinks. one of my friends got their margarita, which came with black salt on the rim and myself and my friend both got an elderberry gin drink. The gin drink was super yummy! wasn't too strong which I liked, but still had a good kick to it. Us three also shared a yummy gummy martini, and wow this drink was good! It had a sour mix in it and it was a perfect drink that did taste like candy, this one was strong tho so drink with caution ;) For appetizers we got 3 different ones. Some truffle fries with garlic aioli sauce was first and this one as a showstopper. I don't know how they made these fries so good but I couldn't stop eating them! we also got the Margherita pizza which was super delicious as well, and it surprisingly was a good size so it was perfect for sharing as well. Finally had the spinach artichoke dip. The dip had good flavor, maybe a bit short on the cheese but that's just my preference! I also wished it came with tortilla chips or pita chips instead of slices of toast. The toast was too filling and hard to scoop with the dip. the service here was fantastic! they were great with keeping our waters filled the entire time and was always around to ask if we wanted another drink or appetizer. Had great timing with taking empty dishes away as well, which is always appreciated :) overall was very pleased with this place for drinks and apps, will try and come here again :)

Overall a nice place. Went for happy hour and got the old fashion cocktail. That thing was strong. Also tried the brussel sprouts, truffle fries and bacon and all were tasty. Drinks on the more expensive side even at happy hour. Would like to see them about $2 cheaper all around.

Great place to stop in and meet friends for a drink or 2. Staff is super attentive and always willing to offer up some of their favorites. So if your in the area and looking maybe not a martini enthusiast ask the staff and they will be happy to recommend some of their favorites.

Oh my we were hungry!!! So many choices made us over-order maybe? We started with the Truffle fries which were crispy and delicious. The overwhelming favorite were the cheeseburger sliders. I guess you can never go wrong with a cheeseburger. The Buffalo sliders were also really good. Buffalo dip was good but came with seasoned chips which was just a little much. I think regular chips would be a better choice. The meatballs were hardy and filling but not a lot of flavor. It was hard to hold a conversation because it was so loud. However it was Friday night and very busy. The service was exceptional as all the servers had all the tables and were regularly checking on us. Definitely returning and maybe will try the patio for possibly a quieter atmosphere.

This was a "first outing" for many in our party of 10 since the pandemic hit. WestEnd was able to arrange the outdoor patio to seat us and reserve the spot. Calling to reserve it was very easy and the gal I spoke with was very friendly and helpful! It was only 50 plus degrees outside and windy but the plastic over the windows blocked the wind and their AMAZING heaters made it quite comfortable! Our server was amazing! He kept on top of all of our drinks and food orders with ease. We tried probably most of their appetizers as we all shared. Everything was very good, maybe a bit pricey, but delicious and worth it! We even ordered a few "CrackerJack Caramel Sundaes" to share and wow those are good as well!!

Last night was my second time at WestEnd and I often forget that it's such a great spot to get together with friends. I'm not much of a drinker so much of my review will be based on the food. The truffle fries are a must. Reminds me of the ones they had at Brix in terms of flavor, thickness, quantity, and presentation. I tried the hummus platter and brussel sprouts for the first time last night. If you're imaginging a plain hummus with pita bread, this one will blow your mind. I've never seen it dressed up so much but suprisingly, all the flavors worked really well together and it was delicious! My least favorite entree was probably the brussel sprouts. The flavor and charring was great, however, I think they were a bit overcooked so it had that "burn" aftertaste which left a bunch of bitterness in my mouth. The patio here is beautiful. (Just know that if you need to make a reservation for half, they do have a $500 minimum.) I only took one star away because the inside of the lounge is a bit odd and sterile feeling. Not cozy and not much to look us besides the huge screen on one side of the watch. Not a deal breaker, but I would definitely recommend the patio if the weather permits. Overall, great food and I'll make a point to start coming more!

Amazing food (brisket sliders), great drinks, even better service and vibe. One of my favorite places in Nebraska. I got the pleasure of meeting the owners and they were fantastic. I'm glad I stopped in and I'll be back.

All I really need to say is that this place has some of the best martinis in West O. There I said it! I love the decor and atmosphere of this place, but i am a bit confused on what they are going for. It tends to turn into a bit of a sports bar that offers great martinis. The decor suggests upscale martini bar, but the atmosphere and TV sometimes gives the vibe of a sports bar. The spread of food is great and I haven't had a bad appetizer each time I go! I had the West End Martini, the birthday cake and chocolate truffle martini and recommend these to anyone glancing at their menu! They do offer other drinks and even a brunch menu I am dying to try out! The waitresses are attentive and speedy even when it is a crowded Saturday night which is wonderful! There is plenty of space for family and friends to sit together and enjoy some martinis!

Love the flight option for Martinis. Servers are attentive... definitely not struggling for staff here.

If you are looking for a cool (in temp) dark place to relax at the end of a hot summer day this could be your spot. The bartenders are great and the wine and drink menu is fairly extensive. Also, they have happy hour pricing and wine is half off on Wednesday! if you are looking to snack on a few items over a drink while catching up with friends in West Omaha check it out!

We love WestEnd. It's my favorite place to relax. I usually go their with my friends. Love their big screen with 90s music.! Love their old fashioned!!! Must try Meat Balls!!

I found this place to be a bit noisy and crowded for my taste. The music was overly loud and everyone was shouting to be heard. The service was extraordinarily slow...it took us 45 minutes to get two drinks. The 9 screen TV was playing cartoons and 80's music videos. A keno machine lurks in the corner but nobody seemed to be interested. I wasn't. I ordered a Prairie Godmother. It was good but nothing special. I ordered another drink: a Chocolate Martini. My first impression was that the presentation was most definitely lacking. I sent a picture of it to my friend along with a message "This looks like shit." My husband then said the exact same thing. Which is kind of unfortunate because it turned out to be delicious. When I got to the bottom I found a white chocolate ball and that was awesome. I don't know if I'll come back...probably not. Nothing impressed me except the prices, but it's also very close to my house so you never know. The drinks were good, but not good enough to account for the price or to make me willing to wait so long for service.

Always enjoy this place. Great service, great atmosphere, great options! Brussels sprouts had too much sauce.

Nicely prepared craft cocktails, yummy appetizers. A bit on the pricey side and in line with other craft cocktail bars. Love the location - we don't have many nice bars out west!

I really enjoyed my experience at WestEnd! As with most West Omaha/Elkhorn establishments, character is lacking as so many businesses are located in a strip mall, but the interior of WestEnd was unexpected and appealing. The walls are a very dark blue, a wall of mirrors that mimic airplane windows (at least in my opinion) and comfortable lounge chair seating. On a Thursday night there was a decent crowd, but manageable for the staff to handle. My friend who joined me and has been to WestEnd on the weekends told me the place can really fill up. We enjoyed some cocktails as well as appetizers - I enjoyed the homemade dressing on the wedge salad as well as the clothesline bacon. The meatball pizza was just okay in my book - some of the crust was a little burnt, but overall the food selection exceeded my expectations. I can definitely see why this place draws a good crowd!

odd ambiance... don't recommend if you're not 40+ white male. Felt like a night club trying to disguise as a higher end lounge, food was bomb doe.

Great place for happy hour and martini's! Relaxing atmosphere to be able to kick back and visit with friends. They have TV's, so it even works if you want to watch your favorite game! Wait staff has always been attentive and the appetizers are awesome!

Gummy bear martini is awesome!! Yum! Brussels sprouts and quesadilla is good too. Wings too. Hummus too. Nice add to the area!!

My husband and I have been looking to branch out from the norm of the same old bars and grills in our area. I heard great things about West End via Facebook, so thought we would give it a try. It's a little more out of the way for us, but we like trying new places. Upon entering, the ambiance was very trendy and the first thing to be noticed are large screens on the wall in the middle of the bar playing music videos. It started out with some great country hits than gradually moved to 90s as the afternoon went on. We had the intention of only going for beers but wanted to try some apps too. We went with the truffle fries and brussel sprouts. They were both amazing and the portions were very large. The truffle fries were the most truffliest tasting fries I've had with some fresh grated parm on the top. The brussel spouts were crisp, sweet and savory. The best we've ever had at a restaurant, and we've had some pretty good ones. The only down side, if there is any, is that its pretty expensive for just having only appetizers, no entrees. Truffle fries were $10 and Brussel Spouts $13. With 3 beers each, brought our total with tip to over $70. I wasn't quite prepared for that but I won't take any stars off because it was a great place. Sounds like they have happy hour too with some apps cheaper and a few dollars off beer. We will definitely be back though. The staff was great and very friendly, fun music, creative ambiance, large covered patio (for those worried about Covid), and the appetizers were much more high end than what you'd find at a standard bar and grill. For next time we have our eye on the nachos, seared tuna and hummus-and also want to try their unique martini flight. Highly recommend this place! Great for a girls night out, date night, or just a nice stop after a long day at the office!

We got take out from here and I have to say it was some of the best to-go food I've had during the last six months. Everything transported really well (granted we were only bringing it about 10 minutes away). The bacon was amazing (and so were the pickles it came with), I can't say enough good things about the Mac and cheese and even the truffle fries were still tasty and fresh when we got them home. I'm looking forward to trying this place in person sometime soon!

Really wanted to try this place. Half the restaurant I as full. The other half is as empty but had notes on tables saying reserved for parties over an hour away. Staff was not helpful. Will not attempt to go back. There are better places in the area I will go to instead.
