Where to Celebrate Cherry Blossom Season Around D.C. | Eater DC

"BlossomFest arrives Saturday, April 1 at Westfield Montgomery Mall. There’s a free concert at 1 p.m. by boy bands of yesteryear LFO and O-Town, both of whom are performing live in the Nordstrom wing with blossoms as their backdrop. To add more nostalgia, Nsync’s Chris Kirkpatrick and 98 Degrees’ Jeff Timmons will co-host the festivities. Tickets are not required but registration is encouraged. A pop-up biergarten near the Lego store features Maryland favorites Lone Oak Farm Brewery Company and MoCo Show. Pregame with IPAs, lagers, charcuterie bags, and bites." - Vinciane Ngomsi

A mall with 100+ retail shops of all kinds, anchored by Nordstrom and Macy's. Has a food court with dozens of choices. A multiplex movie theater. Huge free parking lots surrounding the mall. Ez on ez off from I270.

Google
One of the best malls in the area—clean, spacious, and full of great stores and food options. Perfect for shopping, grabbing a bite, or just walking around. Always a solid experience!

The focus is clearly on fashion. It has some empty spaces. The mix of shops is good.

Great Mall with lots of well known stores and brands. All the stores you may need and department stores such as Nordstrom and Macy's. Clean and feels safe. Good for kids with children stores, toy shops, and activities. Great food court with good food choices and nice restaurants. I'm a local and I've been going to this mall for decades.

Had fun. Is a great place to take your kids for a few hours. The play area was cute!! Had fun at the Lego place as well. Got a few snacks. It's a pretty big mall too.

Westfield Montgomery Mall offers a wide variety of stores, dining options, and a clean, well-maintained environment. The layout is easy to navigate, and the staff at most retailers are friendly and helpful. Parking is generally convenient, though it can get crowded on weekends. While the mall has a good selection of mid-to-high-end brands, a few more unique or luxury options could enhance the experience. Occasional delays in customer service (especially at busy times) prevent a full 5-star rating. Overall, it’s a reliable and enjoyable shopping destination!

Google
While not as bad as Tyson’s Galleria this is definitely a “Rich Trash” mall. Like it looks pretty, it’s clean, there’s a couple stores I like and the Christmas decorations are beautiful and elaborate, the majority of the retail there is either high end fashion brands or those kinds of stores you only really see in this kinda mall designed to fill space and distract people from even an idea that the mall is on a kinda trendy fashion mall life support. The kinda mall whose main demographic is wealthy weirdos, rich old people and entitled Karens with a small amount of semi normal people with some money who live in the area. One thing i find amusing is the abandoned Sears that’s hanging onto the side like some kinda gangrenous retail tumor. While this isn’t a totally uncommon sight with malls lately with an abandoned or repurposed Sears or Lord and Taylor jutting out You look at and go “huh… neat” and then ignore it, the shear size of it and long abandoned parking garage access it is PAINFULLY NOTICEABLE and refuses to be ignored. I don’t think I can recommend this mall unless you wanna see the decorations. It’s pretty but also pretty laughable.

Google
Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda offers a well-laid-out shopping experience with a nice selection of shops catering to various tastes and preferences. The restroom facilities are clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant ambiance of the mall. The food hall boasts a variety of choices, ensuring there's something for everyone. One of the standout features of the mall is its ample parking lot, which makes parking hassle-free, even during peak times. Shoppers can easily access the mall without worrying about finding a parking spot. During my visit, I found several good deals, especially at Macy's, making the shopping experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Westfield Montgomery Mall is a great destination for shopping, dining, and leisure, offering a well-rounded experience for visitors.

Yelp
I cannot say too much about the mall because I stopped by primarily to grab a quick lunch. I thought the food court had pretty diverse options for lunch although most of the restaurants seemed to be Asian- and fast food-based. I guess that would be expected in a mall. Overall, I thought the food court was very spacious and for the most part clean. There was a bit of trash near where I was sitting, but I blame that on the rowdy teens that were hanging out in the food court. That said, someone did drop by within 15 minutes to clean their mess. The mall has a decent number of stores; however, most of them seemed to be strangely closed in the middle of the afternoon. I'll attribute that to the dwindling popularity of malls nowadays. Hey, it's rough out there. The restaurant prices were pretty much on par with what I expected from the area. Most of the restaurant meals seemed to cost about 12-16 bucks...depending on what you get. Overall, I had a decent experience with my quick mall lunch.

Yelp
12.19.24 After moving out of Montgomery County, I very seldom shop here. I came today in order to return a gift from a friend. The mall is very festive with holiday decorations throughout the mall. There are great props and backdrops to take holiday photos. The mall has a mix of mainstream and local retailers. I used to think that Mall of Columbia was upscale, but after seeing Montgomery Mall, it pales in comparison. I may start frequenting this mall more.

Yelp
This mall is pretty decent. They meet the minimum standard for selection of retailers. Parking is ample.

Yelp
One of the best malls in the DMV! Can remember when this place was called "Montgomery Mall." If my memory serves me right, Westfield Montgomery always had the bomb stores and bomb eats. And, speaking of bomb eats, Westfield Montgomery has a top-notch "food court." Ok, I call it a "food court." Westfield Montgomery calls it a "Dining Terrace." Tomato, Tomahto! Lol! Anyhoo, the options in the food court are as long as a CVS receipt. My favorites are Seoul Spice and Panda Express. The Cheesecake Factory and Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana are located near the entrance of the mall. Also, It doesn't hurt that they have a Lucky Strike and an AMC Montgomery 16. Need some retail therapy? This mall has a combination of high-end and moderately priced stores. My go-to's are J.Jill, Victoria's Secret, and Kiehl's. Plenty of stores on deck for the kiddos...Gap Kids, Lego Store, Jane and Jack, and Build-A-Bear Workshop. Can't leave out Jolly Yolly Kids Bethesda. It's an adorable and very popular indoor playground. Westfield Montgomery has all of the mall classics...Old Navy, Gap, Foot Locker, American Eagle Outfitters, Aeropostale, and Bath & Body Works. If you have deep pockets, check out Swarovski, Apple, Coach, and Tumi. Macy's and Nordstrom are the anchor stores. . .

Yelp
This is a great size mall with many of the landmark businesses either as part of it within walking distance like Costco, Macy's, Target, Party city, Dick's, theatre, and more. I also like the variety of the restaurants they offer in addition to the ones inside the food court. Most of the time this mall is not very busy which nice in a way, so you don't need to fight the long line when just to grab something simple. And we like to walk around here whenever we can & always end up spending some unintended $$ There is ample parking around the mall. However, whenever they have events like the carnival or bouncy house festival, a large part of the parking lot will be taken, just be aware. And the traffic in this area can get hectic at times. @WineDinenVacay do recommend this mall.

Yelp
I've been going to Montgomery Mall for years. Although I have moved across the river (VA); I make it a point to shop here if I am in the area. The mall is upscale, modern and clean. I like the amount of stores here. Recently I found out one of my favorite online retailers Mango just opened up a store here; I had to stop in. The store had good selection of their Summer collection and I was able to do a return and buy some cute dresses. The ladies who worked there were friendly and helpful. Stopped by the food court to grab lunch at Shake Shack. The food court had a major face lift and it looks so nice and upscale. Great selection of food vendors too. There's a Lucky Strike on the bottom level. Westfield Montgomery Mall is a great place for shopping and dining. You don't get the crazy crowds like Tyson's but you still get access to many popular stores like Zara, Nordstrom, etc. I will keep coming back as this place is very nostalgic to me.

Yelp
A good local mall, but was more impressed by the malls in Tyson, VA. Seems like a useful mall for those who live within 10 - 15 miles of this location.

Yelp
I only went to mall 1 time. I felt uncomfortable and left. Tysons Corner 1 was a lot more welcoming and safer.

Yelp
Great place to take a stroll, especially in this heat. Love the plethora of decadent food choices at terrific value. Could use more selection of retailers, though; lots of places are shuttered. I don't understand why. Montgomery County is one of the most prestigious, well-educated, and highly sought-after places to live for the upper class and elites, and Bethesda, most of all. Just ask current County Executive Marc Elrich!

Yelp
Have visited this mall twice over the past 6 months or so - as someone who grew up in the era of malls being the original 'social medium', it's great to find one that is still thriving. Great selection of stores and a high occupancy - almost like a trip back to the 80s ;) The mall itself looks relatively modern & on a non-holiday weekend (both visits), was full of shoppers. Seems to be plenty of parking - although, in old-timey fashion, you may have do some looking for a primo spot;) If you want to visit a mall that's still hoppin' - head here!

Yelp
Always a delightful experience! Absolutely AMAZING food! I love the variety of selections. Do yourself a favor and try it. You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
I've been shopping in this mall since I was a young lad and it's come such a long way. There's a movie theater, bowling alley, nail salons, hair salons, a huge upgraded food court including a Cheesecake Factory, and plenty of stores to spend your hard earned money in. The mall also does decorations based on the season, holidays, and other celebratory events. Lots of spaces for cute photo opportunities. It's a nice size mall with two floors. I like how this mall caters to everyone. Not too expensive and it's clean. The mall employees are usually pretty friendly and there are a lot of kids that hang out here. Lots of parking but it does get crowded like any other mall, especially because this is one of the best ones in the area.

Yelp
This mall is decent. It had Joann fabrics so it had what I needed. I was reupholstering three chairs and needed fabric in this store Served this purpose. I found two patterns I used for the project and loved it. This mall has spruced itself up in the last few years

Yelp
While malls in general may not ever return to "pre-covid" attraction, Westfield Montgomery still strives to have clean and welcoming spaces, a variety of businesses and eating options, and community programs.

Kri A.

Yelp
Awful place to get photos with Santa Clause. George who works in the Cherryhill program photos was not only rude but started to become hostile. I am not sure why they take reservations when they do not even check them. It's events like these where the mall gets a bad reputation for hosting and allowing this kind of service .i will be driving a little further next year ; unfortunately it just takes one bad employee who hates his job.

Lion H.

Yelp
One of the best shopping mall in this area. Clean and renovated. Good vibe. Plenty of parking space as well.

Marilyn D.

Yelp
You can find almost anything you need here. But besides Nordstrom there aren't too many higher end stores. Some of my favorite stores : Anthropology, Banana Republic and Express have moved out- that's a bomber .

Yelp
We stayed at the Embasy just down the road. We decided to spend a Thursday morning shopping and came to Westfield. This is a pretty complete indor mall. 2 levels of major chain stores and many unique one of a kind stores. They offer easy access to the metro public transportation. After the morning of shopping, we were able to have lunch at one of the many restaurants in the food court. This mall will be one of our go-to stops when we are in the area again.

Yelp
Ugh, I LOVE Montgomery Mall! It's boujee af (#vibes), never crowded, and always clean! In a world where online shopping has crushed malls, Montgomery manages to stand out as one of the 'good ones' - I.e. a mall you can count on for decent clothing (Zara, Express, Forever21) and food (Cava, Seoul Spice, Cinnabon) options. Parking has never been an issue (garage or free spaces) as drivers tend to err on the side of caution when whizzing around the lot, though Tesla is nearby should you find yourself in need of a new car (I told yall this mall is boujee). P.S. - no one says 'Westfield Montgomery' ...when describing this mall. No one. Love, - A MoCo native

Yelp
They have a Soleil booth selling fraudulent products by con artists. They offered a free demo of a hair curler and said it was low heat, made of titanium and would last 3 days. They had us feel one at a low setting then turned it up to 450 degrees when they used it. I somehow was convinced since I never really curl my hair and bought it for $150 (they claimed it was normally $350). A few hours later the curls were gone, and when I tried to reuse it, the heat was so high it burned my hair. They offered 5 free hair appointments then after the first one said I could do the rest myself. No returns. Worse than a curling iron for $20 which doesn't use as high heat (safer for hair). This business has many complaints on BBB (better business bureau) which I wish I had checked before buying.

Yelp
I want to give a GREAT REVIEW for two security officers at Wheaton Mall. Theor names are Kris and Emmanuel!!! I flagged them down by the ice cream parlor by Target upstair. They came over but wasn't prepared on what to do. My daughter dropped her portable charger in between the ice cream bins or refrigerated bins and wall. ‍‍‍‍ MOM will do anything for my daughter LOL but I wasn't about to stick my arm and hand down there to retrieve her charger !! Fear of rodents and all. Kris and Emmanuel said they will be right back. Just as my daughter and I was pondering on giving up waiting and leaving. Taking the unfortunate as a lost. Here they come with a yellow chain link attached to a magnet!!! With a couple of tries (magnet was sticking to everything BUT the charger lol) they retrieved it!!! YAY.!! They said, "We went back to the office and brainstormed". Exceptional work ethics going way and beyond!!!! i appreciate you guys!!

Yelp
This mall used to have more going for it. Then again, this is a common theme. You can get it from Amazon or an easier way. Yet this mall had a exceptional Macys. The same for Nordstrom's, where the suit fitting folks know their duties. Those are the big stores, and while occasionally in the area, the AMC movie theater is pretty sweet. Definitely go matinee if you can. Westfield Mall is right off of 270. This makes it convenient to traffic. There's a Popeyes, Starbucks, and a pretty good food court. I am going to check the Boeing 737 flight simulator here, and shall update accordingly. Other than that, a lot of small stores, although happy they have a Lego location. Parking is plentiful, and it's accessible to all.

Yelp
How in the everliving tarnation have I not reviewed Westfield Montgomery? Ya know how people "have malls." Like... it used to be more of a thing... really around the time that Mall Madness was a board game. But yeah... this is what I would consider "MY" mall. We grew up calling it Montgomery Mall. Now it's Westfield Montgomery. Whatever you want to call it, I feel like I hold all other malls to this standard. And believe, it's a high standard at that. I literally cannot count how many times I've been to this mall. Not because I used to be a mall rat. I never really understood the whole idea of teenagers hanging out only within the confines of a mall. Like... I like the outdoors a little too much. I know there's no Orange Julius... but it's still pretty cool. BTW- why is Orange Julius the quintessential mall stall. I'm pretty sure Westfield Montgomery never had an Orange Julius... which could be one of it's only faults. That and the apple store told me that I would be arrested for taking pictures of the front of the store *Eye Roll.* See Apple Store review for the whole story. But yeah, I feel like Montgomery Mall has all the stores that you want in a mall. They have great department stores and then they have all of other smaller stores you'd want to find in a mall. Abercrombie and hollister (which I just found out are very popular amongst the LGBT community in China #FunFact). They have Banana Republic, White House Black Market, Godiva, Express, the list goes on and on. Now it even has a 7-11. Recent tragic news out of Westfield Montgomery, Arclight Movie Theater closed due to the pandemic. SMH. SO SO sad, it was definitely my favorite movie theater in the area. Literally... honestly. I really loved that theater. Ok, so what do you need to know about Westfield Montgomery? The anchor stores are -Nordstrom -Macys -Macys Home -and they just added Macy's Backstage? Which I'm assuming is like Nordstrom Rack? Maybe? I'll have to get back to you on that. The Food Court is bussin' (New Favorite Word). There's more small and local chains than you'd expect in a mall of this size. That said... some don't last for too long. And some more closed during Covid. -Gusto unfortunately closed during Covid -Poke Papa I think closed before or during Covid -Really hoping JChows is still there. Famous for their Chinese Chicken Salad. FYI, this type of salad is not common or known in China. -Spice 6 is there ( small local chain) -A Thai place - can't remember the name off the top of my head. -SSongs Hotdogs! #BUSSIN ( Korean Style Corn Dogs but with no corn in batter). Try the mozzarella cheese dog. -Popeyes #Danke -And a number of others I'm missing There is a Cheesecake Factory on the back of the mall. And there are plans to open up an offshoot of one of the most famous New Haven Style Pizza restaurants. Lifetime events that have taken place at the mall: *My first piercing *My third piercing hahah ( My first was cartilage!) *The time I got my ear pierced and my mother went to take me to try on clothing. And I pulled the shirt over the top of my head and felt more pain than I've ever felt (thanks mom). *Really all the ear piercings outside of that piercing my friend did for me in my lobe at a party when I was like 20 years old which is totally off center. *Lots of Nordstrom Cafe visits as an adult *AND my first visit to a Michael Kors store. Montgomery Mall is an ever changing ever adapting beast of a mall. They redid the food court a few years ago in addition to installing the movie theater and a restaurant on top of it. The restaurant didn't last too long, but it's a pretty large space which I hope will be utilized soon. Definitely worth a visit, definitely one of the better malls in the area, definitely an institution in Montgomery County if you grew up here.

Yelp
Montgomery Mall is probably the nicest and closest mall to my childhood home, so I've stopped by a few times when I needed to pick up (or return) something at J.Crew, Nordstrom, the Apple Store, etc. Even on weekdays during the day I've found the mall and parking areas to be pretty busy, but I've never struggled too much to find a parking spot in the end. The mall is well maintained, including the bathrooms which are usually reasonably clean for a public restroom. There are a good number of benches and chairs if you want to rest your feet while browsing the stores, as well as free wifi in both the mall and at certain individual stores. There are also plenty of places to grab a bite to eat, ranging from ice cream & pretzel stands to sit-down restaurants like the Cheesecake Factory and California Pizza Kitchen. When I most recently visited in August 2021, most of the stores required mask-wearing and had hand sanitizer readily available. Some stores also offered free masks if you didn't already have your own.

Yelp
Pro: garage parking, clean environment, multiple food court selection, EV charging, bus stop. This mall is more on the modern side compare to other mall. They have variety of stores and the food court is always bustling. All in all, an ok mall to stop by and have a look inside.
google avatar

Amy E.

Yelp
I love everything about this mall! It's definitely my go-to shopping experience (and I make the trip all the way from Frederick!) I love that it is one-stop shopping for all kinds. Love Nordstrom's and the Macy's here, and there are so many shops and boutiques in-between the anchor stores that I like to shop at. I will drive from Frederick just to go to this mall--because I enjoy the upscale selections and variety. The food court definitely has a variety of good options--so making a day of shopping here is easy!
google avatar

Yelp
My friends and I call this, "the good mall." Great selection of stores and plenty of room. Beautiful decor around the mall, plenty of places to sit and eat- both fast food and sit down (Cheesecake Factory!) Great mix of higher-ish end stores and cheap stores (for people like me). Free parking in the garage and in the open-lot. Overall, one of our favorite go-tos.
google avatar

Gwoping Y.

Yelp
I'm happy to change this review after mall management changes this situation. I've been coming here for decades. In front of Macy's the large chair and console table have been pushed up against the railing with a 20 foot drop. This is not smart folks. You have toddlers coming to this mall.
google avatar

Donyiel C.

Yelp
I've always thought this was one of the nicest and most convenient malls in the area. Yes, of course there are other options but this a good one. They literally have everything here. It truly is a one stop shop, but not too overwhelming! They have a good variety of stores (Macy's, Coach, Express, Aldo, Sephora, Banana Republic, there's even an Apple store...just to name a few). The mall is open daily until 9 (except Sunday - closes at 6). There's plenty of parking options (including a garage). You can go to the movies (Arclight Cinemas), grab food or drinks. I like the updated food court and the many offerings (CAVA, Gusto, Chipotle, Urban Plates, Chik-fil-A).

Jen C.

Yelp
Attractive looking space. Nice chandeliers and plush seats throughout in the corridors, making mall shopping even more enjoyable.

Yelp
We love Westfield Montgomery Mall, it's a large mall that has a lot to offer. The owners of the mall update the look and furnitings of the mall constantly, there's little sitting areas through out the mall. There's always news restaurants and stores arriving on the seen. The mall boost a state of the art movie theater, a few sit down restaurants, a fast food court offering healthy moderate priced food to inexpensive fast food. There's something for everyone, no matter what you eat and however much you want to spend, they have food for you. Let's talk about the stores, they have moderate to high-end stores like Nordstrom, Macy's and the usual suspects found in US Malls, Bath and Body Works, Victoria's Secret, and other stores. The Entertainment offered in this Mall is particularly excellent, with a State of the art movie theater, an airplane flight stimulations experience, a high end bowling with drinks, a new Air-soft shooting range, ice cream shops, bakeries, and other fun eateries. I love having this mall, at my disposal, it's a vibrant, ever changing and dynamic place to visit. The only downside at times, is the parking. It can be a beast to find parking, when the mall is at full capacity.

Aaron C.

Yelp
Yes I like this mall a lot. I buy a lot of things here. I would really recommend this place for shopping with family.
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
Love this mall. It reminds me of the Mall of Millennium in Orlando. High end to midlevel stores on both levels. The anchor stores are way as well. Covered free parking garage with direct access to the mall. Kept very clean. Masking is required 12/2021 due to Montgomery county rules. The food court is very large with plenty of options as well as some sit down restaurants are connected and in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
My neighborhood mall displaying modernized renovations on a continuum, while providing an abundance of options besides retail shopping. ArcLight Movie Theater, Multicultural Exhibits (schedule varies), Lucky Strikes Bowling, Workshops, Restaurants (The Cheesecake Factory & Crave), fancy Dining Terrace aka Food Court - newest additions: Urban Plates, Poke Papa. The imminent VIVA Japanese Steakhouse (Winter 2019) which will be located next to ArcLight. The growing of diverse Kiosks are situated on various levels & wings of the mall. You can get a stuffed Bear built or your eyebrows threaded while snacking on candy from Candy World in the interim of trying to tuck in your men's shirt from Untuckit. Other Services: Valet parking by The Cheesecake Factory Car Wash Free Charging Station PlaySpace for Kids Family Lounge Parking Garages & open lot Student & Teacher Discounts - woohoo! Anchor stores include Macy's - Home, Nordstrom's & now that Sears has closed, I read an Apartment development will take place. Mall Hours 10A-9A Monday-Saturday, 11A-7P Sundays...the Theater, specific stores & restaurants operate different hours.

Yelp
We like to visit the mall from time to time, mostly to get some steps in and window shop. Westfield Montgomery is a clean, spacious, and more chill mall compared to some others. It isn't overly crowded. Employees are all friendly and very helpful here. I'm not a big mall person but I do enjoy stopping by LUSH from time to time. The amazing smells coming from their bath products always draws me in. We also made a quick stop to Sephora, I appreciate that they offer a free birthday gift. They have a David's Tea in here as well, which is awesome! So many different kinds of flavorful teas. This mall has a wonderful food court with a nice variety of eats. I love that they have a Kung Fu Tea, Shilla Bakery, and CAVA in here. There is a family lounge on the lower level at Entrance 3 near Sears and in the dining terrace. This is a great area for you and your little ones to take a break from walking around. Though the mall itself is clean, the restroom at the family lounge could have used some work. It was quite dirty. On our most recent visit, a violinist was playing such beautiful music on stage. The music just warmed our hearts and our little one had so much fun watching her perform. Overall, we enjoy visiting Westfield Montgomery.

Yelp
I don't frequent malls too often anymore, mainly because of me trying to live my best Marie Kondo life and trying to shop second-hand as much as possible (side note: please look up what fast fashion does to our planet!). However, when I do visit Montgomery Mall, I always have the best experience because of all its got to offer. Having grown up in the area, I've seen how much the mall has changed, but even since then, it has been the best in the area. It has all the shops I would visit (F21, Sephora, Nordstrom, Zara, UO, VS), with a killer updated food court that features full-size fast casual restaurants, multiple bubble tea places, and basically any cuisine you're in the mood for. Then there's the movie theater upstairs too. A 7-11 is opening soon (still a little strange to me, but I'm all for making them as widespread as Japan) AND an Amazon 4-Star! I was able to check out the San Fran store, so I'm excited to see how this will be here. It may even beat out the Apple Store for most popular, ha!
google avatar

Rachel H.

Yelp
This is a huge mall and it's easy to get confused in. Pro tip- park by something memorable otherwise you may get turned around. We don't visit this location very often but in reality we don't go to any mall very often. Westfield Montgomery has everything you could need. A Cheesecake Factory, Apple, Macy's and a pretty nice food court. Overall there's a store for everyone and they keep adding in new stores. I will say the mall is very busy! Finding a parking spot is often difficult and now with Covid it's hard to go and feel like you are social distancing. We probably won't be back until everything calms down but there's some great staples here. (There's also great none staples like a movie theater and bowling.) I don't think you'll regret visiting and I'd recommend checking it out if you're in the area.

Yelp
This is a great mall! It has many different stores for all of your needs. They also have a nice food court. They have multiple areas for parking. Which makes it easier around the busier times of the year. I would recommend this mall!

Yelp
Suburban mall tucked in Bethesda just off the Beltway and I-270 on Democracy Boulevard. Surprisingly healthy mall with three anchor stores: Macy's (split into two locations in the mall: retail and home), Nordstrom's, and Sears (don't know how this last one has survived but there it is). Westfields made a fair amount of upgrades in the last few years so there is a nice upscale feel to this mall. Decent selection of establishments selling clothing (American Eagle, Ann Taylor, j. jill, etc), Apple, Microsoft (note this is a very small footprint, better to go to the location in Tyson's if this is your destination), etc. The food court is also pretty good and there are several restaurants also co-located with the mall (Crave, Tara Thai, Legal Seafoods, BBB). Arclight Theater is still shiny and new.

Yelp
This mall is like a mini Tysons corner. It is more high end than the malls around with a Nordstrom, the Tesla showroom, and stores like Nespresso, Micheal Kors, and Lulu lemons. They have a real nice food court with tons of variety from Kung fu tea, Chick-fil-A, Sarku, Coldstone, Chipotle, Poke Bowls, Thai food, Indian food, and urban plates. I am not a fan of their movie theater. They have expensive priced tickets with no comfy reclining seats and they do not want offer refills on their drinks. Their Apple store also does not provide acceptable service.. There's plenty of parking here and the mall never seems to get super crowded. Overall just wish it was bigger and had a bit more stores.

Yelp
They have a really nice food court. All the major stores and specialty stores. Clean and plenty of parking. We had some time To kill while we were in DC. It's very close to NIH.

Yelp
It is one of the nicer malls left in Maryland. My preferred parking spot, is on the ground level of a parking garage. The entrance closest to Forever 21 and Build a Bear. I came here during the holidays, and despite that we are in a pandemic, the mall did a very nice job in decorating for the holidays. You walk around the mall and see giant lighted ornaments that you can pose for a pic. Social distancing can be a little better, and more hand sanitizer stations will be nice. So I recommend have a pocket size hand sanitizer in pocket. You will need it. The mall has a lot of my favorite stores: Victoria Secret Lush Godiva Kiehls Sephora Loccitane Lululemon, just to name a few and of course you cant forget the food court., and Cheesecake Factory outside the mall! They have a nice selection to please everyone's palate but can we please get a Cinnabon?!! The mall is clean, and safe. You will see mall security present inside the mall, however use the buddy system at night. Especially by parking garages.

Yelp
Very high-end, quality mall based on the stores and restaurants located inside. There is a lot of parking surrounding the mall, also. All the stores are well-kept and inviting! I enjoyed having access to stores I typically don't see in the malls I frequent. Even the restaurants have beautiful displays. One assumption I can make is how comfy their seating areas are due to the amount of people napping (including my father)!

Yelp
There are so many great services and stores here..I've had a few unfavorable experiences, but overall the fantastic people, services, and products at many of the other stores (such as those mentioned below) are well worth my (embarrassingly frequent) visits here: Mogee Tea: the best bubble tea in the DMV area and this store (on the second level, corner by Macy's home) has (usually) good service. Try the black milk tea with bubbles to start with if you're not familiar with bubble teas.... Zenscape: the best massages I've ever had, at great prices (and no appointment needed). There is a store on the first level by Lucky Strike, as well as a chair massage pop up on the second level, kind of in the middle of the mall. Both provide fabulous shoulder massages...the pressure may be heavy for some but for me it was perfect and heaven! Just let the masseuse know if the pressure is too soft or heavy, and they are super accommodating. Good Luck: my favorite store in the world! You can receive quite an education in spiritual modalities here, and I've purchased the most amazing healing stones, oils, jewelry, spiritual cleansing products, and even music CDs. This is quite simply an amazing store... Macy's: the best selection of coats and jackets and Levi's jeans for men... Nordstrom: I wouldn't recommend the cafe but the women's department is good.... Spice 6: delicious naan pizza...

Yelp
Westfield Montgomery is a surprisingly nice mall. It feels recently renovated and the food court is more fancy than other malls. It has high ceilings, perfect light and plenty of good food options from Cava to Chick-Fil-A. I won't make a special visit here, but if you live nearby, it seems like a great option for shopping and a quick meal.

Yelp
The kids play area here is what I'm reviewing, although it's pretty indicative of this mall as a whole. Kind of nice, but not really. The play area is kind of clean, but it's not that clean. It's kind of big, but there's not much to do for kids and it's crowded. It's just, kind of. I was only in the area visiting, so I'm kind of glad we won't need to come here again for the kid to let off steam. Can't wait to go back to the larger, and much nicer, Westfield where I'm from.

Yelp
I love this mall. The stores are affordable and have a good selection for your shopping needs. I can drop my car off at Sears and get new tires, get gifts or make up at Macy's, and pop in the eatery for dinner. You can shop for a new phone or Apple product, stop at Starbucks or Davids Tea for a warm beverage. You can get delicious chocolate or shop for new home goods. There is a huge selection for shoppers young and old. You can even watch a movie or bowl. So, head on over to Westfield Mall and shop till your hearts content.

Yelp
What the fuck? This place was absolutely swarmed with little kids. Literally overran by children. Is there a middle school inside this mall? Did I happen to go on a day when there was a field trip to cheesecake factory? What the fuck? I don't mind a few teens here and there but an entire army? ...?
