UTC Mall is constantly expanding, frequently hosting different events and showcasing attractive decorations for customers. Today, I saw stunning sand artwork that made people stop to take photos and admire it. I hope the mall will add more dining options, particularly Asian cuisine, as the current food choices are still somewhat limited.

🌴✨ Westfield UTC is a whole vibe! ✨🌴 From the moment you walk in, it doesn’t even feel like a regular mall—it’s more like a mini resort. The open-air layout, palm trees, cozy seating areas, and water features make shopping feel like a vacation. Tons of great stores, from high-end to casual, and don’t even get me started on the food… SO many good spots to eat or grab a drink. Perfect place to shop, chill, or people-watch. Parking is easy, everything’s clean, and the whole place feels super safe and inviting. Definitely one of the best malls in Cali!! .

This supermarket really surprised me – in a good way. From the moment you walk in, you notice how spacious and well-maintained everything is. What I love most is the wide selection of products, from everyday essentials to more unique international items you don’t find in every store. Their meat and seafood departments are also top quality, and I always feel confident buying from them. Prices are reasonable and they often have good discounts and promotions. Plus, the parking is convenient, which makes a big difference. I highly recommend this place for anyone who values a stress-free shopping experience.

Gorgeous mall 😍. What a difference from the 90’s and now!! Venchi, Melo Melo are my current fave desserts to get here 😋. Glad they kept the dolphin water features!

Google
This mall is expansive but clean and fun to get lost around 😅 Lots of cool places to explore…we really enjoy the AMC theatre there with recliners. We also enjoy going to the Body Shop and food court with choices to appease everyone palate. Great family day out ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Google
This is the best mall in SD county, no competition. It’s got excellent dining options from quick-casual to upscale, a wide range of retail, and clean, well-maintained outdoor spaces.

Google
Nice outdoor mall. Lots of stores. Seemed something for everyone's price range.

Google
Lovely mall, fun to walk around. I wouldn’t recommend the restroom though. I entered a stall and there were blood stains on the floor. So I left that one and entered another one, which was equally as dirty but at least no blood. Except the second restroom has a broken lock and someone opened the door while I was rolling out toilet paper. I don’t blame the person for opening the door, but definitely just be careful while using the restroom at this mall.

Yelp
Parking was an absolute zoo today. But big ups to Danny, the head of security at the mall, for keeping everything running smoothly and making everyone feel safe and welcome at the mall! Got some yummy Hanna's too, which I'll review separately. (but seriously, the parking gates slow so much down leaving and coming!)

Yelp
As a DoorDasher, I often pick up orders from restaurants at UTC Mall. Today, I accidentally dropped my parking ticket and reached out to the parking office for assistance. Unfortunately, the employee working on January 7th between 7:30-8:00 PM was rude and unhelpful. Despite explaining that I was there for a DoorDash delivery, they refused to show any courtesy or understanding, insisting I pay $15 to exit the lot--an amount greater than what I earned for the delivery. To somewhat resolve the issue on my own part, I used an older ticket from a previous visit and paid $6, but I strongly believe I shouldn't have been charged at all. If restaurants at UTC Mall are offering DoorDash services, there should be accommodations for delivery drivers, such as waiving parking fees in cases where tickets are misplaced. Losing money on a delivery due to a parking fee is unfair and frustrating, especially when drivers are there to support the mall's restaurants and customers. Westfield UTC is known for its great customer service, but the experience I had today fell far short. While delivery drivers may not be direct customers, we play a vital role in serving the mall's patrons who rely on DoorDash to enjoy food from its restaurants. If the Parking Office staff cannot extend basic courtesy to delivery drivers in these situations--or worse, insists on charging $15--then Westfield UTC and its restaurants should reconsider offering DoorDash services. It is unreasonable for drivers to bear the cost of parking to pick up food for someone else. That said, I love UTC Mall itself, especially how dog-friendly it is, as I regularly bring my dogs there on my days off. Every retail store and restaurant I've visited as a customer has provided positive experiences, and I don't mind paying the parking fee at all when I'm an actual customer who is there the enjoy the mall. I only wish the parking staff showed a little more understanding today. I understand that the customer isn't always right, but every business should be willing to find a reasonable solution to a problem.

Yelp
This is my dog and I's favorite mall, it's so dog friendly and there is abundance of parking I really like coming here. When I was a kid my dad would take us here to go ice skating but we stopped coming when the mall started to look run down, but look at it now. It so beautiful and open spaced and there is huge selection of restaurants and stores at all price ranges. I especially come here to walk my Kodiak because it's just so dog friendly.

Yelp
Nice shopping center, has plenty of shops and variety of food options, even the ice ring! Parking might be problematic at time and glad they are building another parking structure to fix the situation. The construction has been going on for years... This time I've stayed at the Embassy Suites across the mall and was just walking here.

Yelp
Nice outdoor center about 15 minutes away from where I was staying in Del Mar. Perhaps I did not see it but wanted to browse at Banana Republic and an Apple Store although I walked the entire complex. First 2 hours is free parking but missed it by a little over the 2 hour mark.

Yelp
I came on a Wednesday evening around 330pm and the line of cars to get in was already starting. The line was even longer when I left at 630pm! I can see why though. There was so much happening here. You really need a map to get around this place. They have an indoor ice skating rink. They have a food court. They have plenty of dessert shops, too many to choose from. They have a peppermint beach club for Christmas time. It was amazing! Every 30 minutes the"snow" falls. The Christmas decor is stunning. They have a Santa booth. The best part- free spin to win a prize! A prize was a free ticket to Sea World. I won a coupon to Saarta which is a mattress store. I was still impressed that they did this for free!

Yelp
more boujee and much larger than i had expected.. and packed too the first two hours of parking are free but the ticketing system at the front slows down traffic lol lots of storefronts that you don't see often so it was nice to walk and window shopped
google avatar

Yelp
Cool place to walk around. Free parking for first 2 hours. Dog friendly place. There's actually a small dog park there.

Yelp
On my recent trip to Oceanside, besides attending a PPA pickleball tournament in San Clemente, I also wanted to visit all 3 Wushiland located in San Diego. My brother and his family, my daughters, and I were on our way to Westfield University Town Center (UTC) in San Diego. It's a humongous outside mall. Lots of great restaurants, shops, and entertainment at your fingertips. I loved the good vibes it gave out. Lots of people here having a great time. My goal was to hit Wushiland. Funny, before reaching Wushiland, we had a yummy dinner at Silverlake Ramen, enjoyed some amazing crepes and ice cream from Crepes Delicious and yes they were very delicious, picked up some Happy Lemon boba drinks, got some tasty Somi Somi taiyakis and yummy ube ice cream, tried BenGong's Tea unique tea drinks, grabbed a box of chocolates truffles and a Love cup from Hanna's Creamery & Cafe all within UTC. If you're wondering... yes, we eventually got to Wushiland LOL... it was a long walk around and pick up as we go journey, but we made it. We also checked out Tesla rides and I scooped up some reusable utensils from Typo and got to stroll through Cotton:On. Staff from the businesses we supported were wonderful. Service was great all around. Value for the eats and drinks was good, too. There's a little of everything for everyone at Westfield UTC! Love this place! I will definitely be back here the next time I'm in the San Diego area. Btw, first two hours of parking is free. You'll have to pay for the additional hours. Don't remember the cost per hour, but our 4+ hours here was $6.00... so maybe $3.00 per additional hour.

Yelp
I've had the luck of experiencing this mall at night when it's empty to check out the speakeasy. Parking is plentiful and confusing. We unfortunately came to eat at Haidilao on a Sunday and traffic was crazy. Terrible traffic getting in and parking is worse! I've never seen such terrible traffic to just get into a shopping mall. It's free for the first 2 hours and $3/hr after. After that experience, we plan to stay far away from here when we visit SD again. That traffic and hassle wasn't worth the meal. At least we know now. :)

Yelp
Westfield UTC Mall is definitely one of my favorite places to shopping malls! They have such a great variety of stores, so it's easy to find everything I'm looking for. I love coming here whenever I'm in San Diego! The food options are another big plus. There's a little bit of everything and a lot of Asian restaurant options too! I also love how clean and well-kept the mall is. The outdoor seating areas are so nice Parking can be easy to find during the week, but it can get a little hard to find parking on weekends. It depends which time you go -The first two hours are free.
google avatar

Chris T.

Yelp
This center is awesome. It has literally all the stores you could probably want from high end luxury Rolex to collectible goods Pop Mart. There's plenty of food here kiosks and variety. We went for Din tai fung, but they had noodles, boba, acai, burgers, pizza, desserts and more. There was also plenty of clothing stores, sneaker shops, aritzia lululemon made well too many to name. There's also a park for kids to play at, outdoor seating galore, water fountains, all in all wish we had something like this close to home.
google avatar

Carmen L.

Yelp
Had high expectation bc a lot of YouTubers said the best mall in SD at the moment but quite disappointed. The parking was crazy especially during the holiday seasons. It's not free parking (first two hours are free and after will be 3 dollars per hour and max 15 dollars per day). Selection of the stores is medium to high comparing to malls in OC...we got spoiled by south coast plaza for high ed brands and cheaper brands at the spectrum and same level of mall in OC Will be fashion island in Newport...Looks like they do have a good food selection though.
google avatar

Peter I.

Yelp
We like this mall because it has a shop for everyone! From H&M to Tiffany's. Nordstrom to Macy's.... My wife loves Madewell and Lululemon.... I like all the food and drink spots from casual to dressy. All outside and easy to walk. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
What a crazy upgrade this place has gone through in the past 20 years!!! I hadn't been here in so long, I was shocked to see all the changes, loved that they kept the ice skating rink. :) Heads up, you only get 2 hours of free parking, then you gotta pay. It was very busy during the holidays, but we had a great time seeing lots of things.

Yelp
I used to live in La Jolla for years and went to UCSD about 10 years ago. We always frequented UTC especially with our dog at the time. Now we have a 2 year old son and have started coming to UTC again with him. UTC is always clean and fun to walk around especially if it's nice weather but even in cold weather it's cozy to bundle up and get some coffee. We are big fans of the play area for the kids. The slide feature in my video at first freaked me out but now I get less anxiety because my son is older. I still always stay nearby because it is a little steep. Our son loves to eat the ramen next door to the play area and we love the prices there. We usually come later in the evening when it's less busy. Parking can get a little chaotic and you have to pay now but there is usually plenty of parking in the structure. We love Macys and Nespresso Tender Greens and the food court. It's hard to find kid friendly things to do but our son always loves just running around he absolutely loves the fountains and dolphin installations. The Gepettos store is fun to go to as well with him. I have yet to brave UTC by myself with my son but with my husband there it's easy. During the holidays it was absolutely beautiful too with all the lights. We also love to get ice cream after dinner at salt and straw. Overall we love UTC and have become absolute regulars! Definitely a place to check out with or without kids and if you're visiting from out of town it's worth it to go! The stores itself are a little pricey and we rarely shop anywhere besides food and Macys but it's still fun to window shop and look at nice things. Thanks UTC for upkeeping a great mall! We love it here!

Yelp
Wow, haven't been in here in sooo long. It's massive!! Plenty of parking all over. So many different shops, restaurants, drink shops, gym, just everything! I believe they still have the ice skating rink too! I was pleased to see so many asian food options (ramen, boba, happy lemon). They had a Board & Brew as well. Definitely need to come back!
google avatar

Yelp
Love this outdoor mall. Great variety or upscale stores, including Nordy, Bloomingdales, Arhaus, LV, Hermes, Tiffany. And they also have some of my favorites like Lululemon, Janie and Jack, Apple, and Jo Malone... Parking sometimes can be a pain. First 2 hrs us free. Christmas decor is always beautiful here. They also have a nice foodcourt, with ice-skating rink inside that building as well.
google avatar

Lisa P.

Yelp
A lot of great store and even a AMC movie theater. The parking structure is available with two hours free parking. Enjoy my time perusing the stores. A lot of different selections of places to eat from inexpensive to expensive depends on your taste buds. Every store I went inside to visit the staff was always willing to assist with delightful service.

Yelp
Gosh, I love this mall! This mall has everything a person wants! lol! Let's get some food, or shop for clothes and miscellaneous items. Yes, you can stop in here and get a boba drink or a coffee too!!! Now, it's time to shop! Just a reminder, there's a parking fee to park at the mall.
google avatar

Yelp
Since they remodeled and secured great tenants, Westfield UTC has become the best shopping center in San Diego. From high end stores (Bonobos, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Lulu Lemon, etc.) to abundant and variety type of restaurants (Italian, American, Chinese, Japanese, etc.) to satisfy all of your needs. I love how spacious and easy to get around. You can get lost there for hours. Luckily, they give you 2 hours of free parking and a very reasonable $3/hour after that.
google avatar

Darren K.

Yelp
UTC is a great mall to go during the weekdays but can be a complete zoo on the weekends. It can even take a while to get into the parking area off the main streets when it is busy. I would avoid going on a holiday weekend unless you have lots of time to find a parking spot.
google avatar

Lizzie Y.

Yelp
Made the trip to La Jolla because I was eager to try Din Tai Fung and there is one located here, right at Westfield UTC! Westfield UTC has literally ALL the stores you could ever need. If you're looking for athleisure, they have many stores, including lululemon, alo, athleta, and more sustainable brands. If you're looking for watches, there are lots of jewelry stores that you can browse through. There are also staple brands like H&M, Zara, Aritzia, and CottonOn, just to name a few, that are present here and get a bunch of new outfits. There are even furniture stores here such as PotteryBarn, Purple Bed, etc., and of course, lots of yummy trendy food options where you can get açaí bowls, cold pressed juices, ramen, P.f. chang's, and Din Tai Fung haha. Also just love that its an outdoor mall. If I was from around the area, I would definitely be coming here often and getting my steps in, while enjoying the weather! Westfield UTC was a great experience for me :) Would for sure come back again!

Yelp
We were in town and wanted to check out this mall. We were here a few months back but for food and the Apple store for a new phone. This time around we spent a couple hours checking out all the shops and eateries. This is the place for shopping for sure. This mall consists of many stores for clothes, shoes, gadgets, luggage, books, health and beauty products, entertainment, eateries, ATMs, and much more. They have from fast food to casual dining as well. Something for everyone. I love that it is an outside mall. The middle of the mall has sidewalks and patio like areas throughout to sit and chat with people. There's beautiful artwork/statue all around. They have trees and beautiful flowers all around. There's even a fishpond to enjoy as well. You can park at the parking garage. Parking is free for the first two hours. Then you have to pay after that. They have Electric Vehicle Charging, too. It is pet friendly. You should check their website for updated hours of operation. For now, it's Monday thru Saturday (10:00 am - 8:00 pm) and Sunday (11:00 - 7:00 pm) Overall, a great place to go for dinner and a movie. We came for dinner and scoped out all the stores. Shopped for home decor. We ordered coffees and enjoyed people watching.
google avatar

Ronit M.

Yelp
I typically hate malls but this is an outdoor shopping center. The buildings do tower a bit high, but the spaces in-between are really spacious and well lit from the sun above. I liked how they created mini seating zones at the plazas between pathways. The stores are a mix of middle to higher end shops. There's a lot to see and choose from. The trees at the center provide some nice shade as well as popping into a shop to escape the heat. We were surprised that the mall does charge for parking after the first two hours. I had a nice time window shopping and walking around Westfield UTC during some down time. Happy shops!

Michelle J.

Yelp
Don't parking here. They ran out of fan fold tickets so instead of leaving the gates open so people can get in an out, they are stopping everyone and writing down their name, car model and time they came in. Complete chaos.
google avatar

Norbert K.

Yelp
We've been coming to UTC since the late 1980s when visiting my brother-in-law. The ice rink is still here, and food court has really matured, especially with the last remodel done by Westfield. UTC is a pleasure to walk, shop, and dine. There are over 150 stores, scores of places to eat, and a 14-screen movie theatre. Self-parking, which was always free, now costs $3 per hour after an initial two hours of free parking. And the northern terminus of the Metro Blue Trolley Line is here, along with a bus transportation center.
google avatar

Allison W.

Yelp
Overall this mall is beautiful. The newly added luxury stores, the various foods, and the large parking structure- this is one of the best malls in SD! However, if you are a nursing mom or travel with children and would like a quiet space for the FAMILY to relieve themselves... the family lounge in the food court IS NOT IT. I recently tried to nurse my baby in the private space, as any public place should have accommodate per the law, and there were unaccompanied teens in one of the nursing spaces behind the curtain. The over nursing room had one lounge chair that had tears and stains. Overall the family lounge is the most neglected space, which is sad bc it is one of the most necessary :/

Yelp
Parking (covered or in the lot) is free for first 2 hours; $3 per hour afterwards. There is maximum of either $12 or $15. Though put off at first by having to pay to park, I felt safe knowing that my car was protected from the sun. I'd recommend to leave a little cooler with some ice and water bottles waiting for you upon your departure. You can pay at the kiosks or at the exit station when you drive out. I did see security walking around the premises which was reassuring. Plenty to check out: Nordstrom, mattress stores, 3 electric car showrooms, restaurants, food court that overlooks an ice rink, Pottery Barn, clothing shops, skincare parlors, jungle gym for the kids, bars for the adults (might be a hidden bar at one store), Williams & Sonoma, ear piercing places, lingerie boutiques, just to name a dozen. Mostly on the pricey end but with some searching, you can find some great deals. All places take credit card; there are some that are strictly cashless. Take a stroll and you'll find some gigantic art pieces on display. The breeze feels refreshing on hot summer days. Don't forget to put on some sunscreen or wear a hat (or even an umbrella to block the sun) because time will fly and sunburn doesn't look good on anybody.
google avatar

Alycia A.

Yelp
It was my first time at this outdoor mall in La Jolla! WOW! So many great stores & restaurants! You can probably get all of your shopping needs met here for sure! I found a new favorite store to buy work clothes, this mall is definitely my new favorite!!! You have to pay for parking here if you go past two hours which is easy to do. Wear comfortable shoes if you plan on doing a lot of retail therapy, lots of walking to do here! I will definitely return!
google avatar

LaRae B.

Yelp
Gorgeous outdoor mall with great stores and dining. However, I do not care for their paid parking system. Cars back up around the mall to get in. The last time I went the ticket machine wasn't working. A nice employee asked my first name and told someone on the intercom what time we entered the mall. The whole time I was shopping I was also stressed thinking "How am I going to get out of here without a ticket?" LOL. In theory, paid parking should work, but oftentimes it's a mess.
google avatar

Jav P.

Yelp
I love shopping here. It's great outdoors. The people are awesome. Great deals and the ambience is well set for San Diego.
google avatar

Hiral S.

Yelp
The mall itself is very beautiful and they offer a great selection of stores and restaurants. But they need to do something about the parking. I needed to quickly returns a few items and parked on level 2 of the parking lot. I took 45 minutes to get on the road again - this was because of the backup created as a result of the paid meters at La Jolla village drive entrance. This is unacceptable and I won't be coming to visit this mall anytime soon till the figure this out.
google avatar

Brandon B.

Yelp
Great mall, high end shops, clean and friendly space. They have some great coffee shops, restaurants and clothing stores, some more unique and not the common chains (rare for a mall, thought the common stores are well represented). Valet parking was cheap and worth it.
google avatar

Areej A.

Yelp
Best mall in San Diego. It's beautiful and has everything you want when you are shopping. It's my favourite shopping spot at all time!

Mark T.

Yelp
One of the best shopping areas in the greater San Diego area. The irritating part of the mall is the paid parking. Apparently it is confusing to some, which creates long and frustrating lines to enter and leave the mall. What is also madding about the parking is that the owners said that they are charging to park to prevent employees from nearby businesses from using the mall customer parking which make sense but then the gates should be open after 5pm, Holidays and on weekends unless the real reason for charging to park is a money grab.
google avatar

Yelp
*This review is for the bathroom only* I went to the Dining Hall's women's bathroom, and it was woefully lacking. The first stall I went into had literal poo in the bowl unflushed. I gagged and came out, and a woman came out of another stall so I went into that stall. Nothing was in the bowl so I went to the restroom...only to then discover that there was no toilet paper! Disaster. When I came out to wash my hands...no paper towels. This bathroom needs more attention.

Jennifer D.

Yelp
The best shopping mall in San Diego county. Shops ranging from high-end to medium price range, restaurants, and Boba shops. I enjoyed a day of shopping at UTC.
google avatar

Alma M.

Yelp
What a disappointment! For such an upscale mall in La Jolla one would expect the bathrooms to be clean and have toilet paper, seat covers and paper towels, these ones had neither and they were unkept and dirty and had an awful smell . Floor was filthy and food on the sink and floor tried using two of them but could not.

Michael N.

Yelp
I had the most awful experience exiting your mall today. An exit lane closed. Cars backed up 30 and 40 deep, the wait for me was 28 minutes. And I missed the two hour courtesy parking window by three minutes. Pressed the help button and explained that there was an extensive backup. The woman who answered said they monitor this, and there was no problem. If they do monitor it, she was wrong. If they don't monitor it, she was lying to me. Either way, her response and demeanor were completely unprofessional and inappropriate. She then chastised me for not understanding the parking rules. Then proceeded to tell me that I would be placed on a list and never given a courtesy exit ever again. The whole story would be almost laughable, but it demonstrated how utterly unprofessional, untrained, and above all uncaring your staff is.
google avatar

Nick P.

Yelp
Nice pet friendly shopping mall situated in SD. There's plenty of parking so it wasn't difficult for us to find a spot. This mall is kind of reminiscent of the Irvine Spectrum. They have a lot of the same stores and eateries. We do love this mall is very pet friendly. They even have a dedicated little dog park attached to the mall as well!
google avatar

Nathalie B.

Yelp
Westfield UTC is a top-notch shopping destination near UC San Diego. With a diverse range of stores and dining options, plus a pleasant outdoor layout, it's perfect for all your shopping needs. Highly recommended!
google avatar

Arnel D.

Yelp
With several malls in San Diego, this one in particular is second to none. It's remodeled and absolutely beautiful. It helps to be located in La Jolla. With tons of parking covered and uncovered as well as valet, you're sure to find a spot even during busy holidays. The manicured landscape is lush and helps accentuate the architecture and color schemes of the place. With so many things to do and see, it's no wonder most San Diegans are willing to drive a little further to dine or shop here. Accessible via trolley, bus or personal vehicle- it's convenient. Parking is free for the first two hours then $2 additional afterwards. With a gym and movie theater located on premises you literally can spend the entire day here. Most times I hit up my normal spots. Grab a coffee or a lemonade and check out what new styles I can wear for work. I'm here often... So in case you see me don't be shy. Be back soon.

Mvnda C.

Yelp
This mall is huge and beautiful. It has every store that you can think of. Parking is a little confusing but other than that, great shopping center

Yelp
Man, this place has been upgraded quite a bit since I was coming here back when I was still an undergrad at UC San Diego! I can still recognize the old layout, but a lot of it was new to me. These days, I spend most of my time in Downtown San Diego. It has been nice revisiting some of my old stomping grounds with the completion of the MTS blue line trolley. It's super convenient as I don't have to worry about driving and parking a car. The trolley platform was on level P5 and the mall was on level P3. During my most recent trip, I was able to check out the new ramen shop, Ramen Nagi. The MTS trolley line would've been really nice back in the day as a student!

Yelp
I used to shop here a lot. That was before Westfield turned UTC into a small congested city filled with mostly very expensive shops. Now, I come here only when necessary. My recent visit--like other visits I've made since the transformation started years ago--was incredibly frustrating. I'd ordered shoes online from Nordstrom, needed them the same day and drove down to pick them up. Construction is still going on and still impacting parking. It took me 20 minutes to walk from where I parked to find Nordstrom due to the lack of signage pointing the way at crucial points in the "journey." I got lost in the maze of pathways, couldn't find a simple map or directory and couldn't figure out how to use the interactive map. I asked two different people if they could point me to Nordstrom, and I received two different answers. Once I finally found Nordstrom and picked up my order, I had no desire to again try to find a directory to see what other shops I might be interested in visiting. The two good things about this particular trip: 1) I got the shoes I needed. 2) I used less than 45 minutes of the two hours of free parking, so I didn't have to shell out more money for this awful experience.

Yelp
Gorgeous and trendy outdoor mall with TONS of delicious restaurants! Most of the stores are on the expensive side (ie. Hermes, Kate Spade, Louis Vitton etc.) with a few relatively reasonable shops, ie. Vans, Abercrombie & Fitch, Gap, H&M, Sephora (Look at the UTC mall website for the exact list of stores). Has a food court that entertains you with a view of the ice skating rink below. There's even a very small dog park behind Tender Greens. Great place for people watching, dates, visitors, etc. You have to pay for parking per hour after the first 2 free hours. There is a trolley that goes to UTC.

Open the damn parking lot during the holidays. We had to wait over an hour to get out tonight. Ridiculous! Not returning. Also had to pay because we waited so long. Give me a break!

Yelp
Growing up in San Diego, I got to witness how much UTC has grown and improved. I love what it's become now, it's got so much more to offer. You don't just shop here, you get to have an experience here! There are new restaurants, new shops, bars, etc. And they're still building new restaurants and shops! The layout has improved, there's more parking (though, you have to pay now; free for the first two hours), so many nice seating areas to relax and hang out at throughout the mall, and a koi pond?! There's so much to do and so much to see! I have added this to the list of 'things to do when visiting San Diego' that I share with friends and family because it's an experience and there's so many options for activities here, you could spend a whole morning or afternoon-evening here! Right now, they have Pickleball courts (3 courts total) located at the top of True Food Kitchen. Playing pickleball on a rooftop is such a vibe! I read somewhere that it's only there until the end of July so take advantage of it while it's there!
