Food and drinks were decent and it was a large space with casual ambiance. Service was very nice from the female server, but the guy kept trying to pull over fast ones for our American accent. For example, we asked for still water and everyone else got the tap while he brought us bottled. Then he tried to get as to add more tip even though it was already included as a 13.75 service charge. I questioned him and he was surprised I knew and tried to say it was something different. Service was middle of the road at best so couldn’t see the need for additional tip. Luckily we have Brit friends and google that has educated us. I just didn't like his shadiness so be cautious if you have a different accent. Otherwise nice large space, great for groups.

Went here on a Monday evening and had a lovely experience. The ambience was surprisingly amazing for a weekday- calm, cozy, and beautifully set up. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout. A special shoutout to the gentleman who served us; when my mother wasn’t too keen on the drink she ordered, he kindly offered her a complimentary tea instead. It was such a thoughtful gesture and really made our evening. Would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back!

Lads! If you have just been at the shrek adventure experience and need some place to cool down, this is the place to go! The food, absolutely shrektastic, The service, royal The vibes, incredible! Dogged down a massive steak, had some pints and an Irish coffee that would knock your socks off and it didn’t bankrupt me! 10/10 Shreks from me

Enjoyed our time at Westmister Kitchen! Stopped in for lunch during a sightseeing day. The food was solid, atmosphere was fun, and it was an overall great experience. The chicken was the highlight of the meal! Very good!

I had dinner here last week, the restaurant looked attractive and there was no difficulty getting a table. The menu mainly steaks. The menu lacked interesting dishes. The strangest thing was I was asked if I wanted the starter at the same time as the main course! The steak was well cooked but the sides were unimaginable. The main problem was the service which was not attentive

We had no wait to get seated even though it is a busy area . We were lucky that not many people notice it. The food was very good and prices were fair. Great customer service by our waiter.

I had a lovely experience at Westminster Kitchen! The staff here are absolutely wonderful — friendly, polite, and genuinely attentive. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and made to feel welcome. Our server was professional and kind, checking on us just the right amount without being intrusive. They gave helpful recommendations from the menu and made sure everything was perfect with our meal. Even though the restaurant was busy, the team worked efficiently and kept a positive attitude the whole time. It’s always nice to be served by people who clearly care about their guests. Excellent service like this really makes a difference — thank you to the whole Westminster Kitchen team for making our visit so enjoyable!

I stopped at this restaurant very convenient to the London eye and had a quick lunch. Might go to is a salad with salmon on it. The salmon was cooked to perfection and was a very large piece. The salad however, was lacking. It was very small, probably a cup of lettuce, I thought that they could've done much better job with that

I recommend here when you are visiting the Ben and such! It is just far enough away from the hustle and bustle to not be touristy! Also the largest Fish And Chips in all of London exists here! I am so grateful for the service too because they helped us charge our phone and did it with kindness! I recommend the Fish and Chips The Curry and a ton of red wine here! Cheers!

Wasn't bad for something that we just happened to walk into trying to find a place and to get out of the rain. It's seemed more like a sports bar restaurant as in the states. Staff was quite nice but seemed in a rush for us to order. Drink menu, pretty much all quite the same to every place that we've been to. Nothing special with that. Food menu, a bit of everything but quite a small menu. We just went with the shrimp skewers which was quite nice. And the salmon and bolognese for our main. Salmon was quite nice and cooked perfectly. Served with mashed potatoes and veggies. Bolognese, seemed like a jar sauce. Nothing major to rave about but it was ok. Garlic bread was also added which was quite good and portion wise quite big. Overall, it did the trick and was good. Staff was nice and friendly.

Nice friendly staff. We were a group of 8. All food came out hot and together. Staff offered to help with wheelchair access (around back of building) but our party had already lifted it down to dining area.

We stopped by this restaurant on our last night in London as the menu looked pretty good. And they did not disappoint! The wait to get initial service was a little slow but that's ok. We had garlic bread for an appetizer and it so crisp and fresh! I had the lamb and it was so tender and flavorful as were the mashed potatoes! My daughter had the ribeye and she loved it! And then we had a brownie with ice cream for dessert! The drink pours were heavy, the staff was nice and the vibe was chill. Would definitely recommend!

I tried to convince myself this place couldn't be that bad because the reviews were 3 star- what a mistake. Food came out in minutes so I don't know that it was made fresh or there just was a huge batch sitting there. The sauce on my pasta had absolutely no flavor other than the spice from the red pepper flakes- I don't think there was any other seasoning. Noodles were undercooked. The chicken in it was WAY overcooked and was rubbery and chewy. I would've been better off getting a hot dog from the guy on the street outside. Don't recommend.

We stumbled upon this place walking back from the Waterloo underground- what a pleasant surprise. First, all of the staff was so friendly, the greeter was eager and funny , the waiter pleasant and kind , the busser also very polite . Nice food selection- I had the chicken Cesar salad- the chicken was excellent, a bit to much dressing for my taste but minor - my daughter had steak with basmati rice that was excellent- and the fish and chips looked so good and so many people were ordering it. I heard another table say it was their second visit while on vacation and I can see why. Prices were not exorbitant and selection was good. A good find !

Excellent service and food. Our large group reported the best fish & chips in London and the half chicken was well seasoned and delicious. Ali was our contact and did an amazing job. I highly recommend this establishment and will definitely be back.

Expensive place for what they offer. I ordered the mixed green salad but it came on iceberg and it wasn't much. The service wasn't that good. The waiter wouldn't look at me when ordering.

While they have an entire vegan section listen on their menu (paper and online), don't expect to be served any of it. When we attempted to order they physically crossed it off the menu with their pen and told us none of those items were available. We went elsewhere to eat.

We had four adults and two children for dinner and we all found something we enjoyed. The veggie pizza had just the right amount of each ingredient. The service was superb and the manager stopped by to make sure everything was going well. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Nothing fancy, just tasty food - sometimes that is exactly what you want.

The food tasted very good. Servers are very friendly. Walking distance from the London Eye.

The restaurant is convenient for County Hall and close to Westminster but it is quite expensive and the food was nothing special. My lamb steaks were a little bit tough although tasty. A cheesecake dessert came without cream or ice cream and was a very small portion. It isn't terrible but better value lies elsewhere.

Okay place. Not a local hangout but more for tourists. Asked for sirloin steak medium well for kids. Can out medium rare. Sent back. They split it open threw it on to the grill and proceed to char the hell out of one side. Fish and chips were good. Friendly and responsive service though.

If there was a zero I would have given it to this restaurant.terrible food and customer service. I should have checked the reviews before I went in but since we were so hungry we didn't....that was a big mistake.

Amazing food, Great Service, And Super kind staff. 10/10 Recommended! My favorite dish is the Homemade Brownie. The food is reasonably priced and has a decent wait time. If you are in London you should definitely check it out.

Pay attention to Yelp reviews. Great location. Good food. Poor service. Not sure they even cared we were there or whether the food was alright? Don't do it. It's just about "meh".

After a long day of walking over 10 miles touring the beautiful city of London, we were starving. This was one of the first restaurants we came upon and decided to try. The pizza has very little toppings, the crust had too much bread. The price was high and the quality was low.

We happened to walk by this restaurant and after reading the menu we decided to give it a try. My daughter and I just finished a long day tour and were looking for a place to eat before heading back to our hotel. We shared grilled lamb chops, fish and chips, and a Greek salad. The lamb chops were seasoned perfectly and were delicious. The cod fish was lightly battered and tasted better than expected. I was expecting to see greasy fish and chips but they proved me wrong. The salad was okay. Service was good. We were very pleased with our Meal.

Late night meal since we got back into the area late. Most places were closed but this place was open. We ordered the penne chicken and pasta carbonara. Loved the pasta carbonara, the penne chicken was ok. Glad that we round this place since we were hungry and needed a place to grab dinner and this is located near the hotel.

This was our first meal in the country. We were staying in the Marriott around the corner and the doorman sent us here. It was perfect for what we wanted. A quick no fuss meal that wasn't fast food. There wasn't many people in the place at 1pm on a Thursday so we were a tad concerned but were tired and hungry. The service was a group kind of thing. One person took our drink order, another our entrée order, someone else brought us our food and then someone else brought us our bill. Food was cooked well and fast. The cost was reasonable for the location. Free WiFi but need to ask for password. We would come back if in the area again.

We came here because it was close to a bunch of tourist attractions. I got the fish and chips, which were pretty good and just what I expected.

We came into this place since it was close to where we were touring. We had a little over an hour before it closed, so we went in ahead. The lady who seated us looked at her watch as we walked in which turned us off. Then a male came to take our orders and he made a weird comment to my brother in law about him being on his phone which is why he wasn't ready to order. Pretty annoying. The restaurant itself looks nice and modern and the atmosphere is nice. Food is not tasty if we're being honest. Meat was bland and unseasoned.

This is a tourist spot for sure. Service is lacking. We came in because, like many others that have left reviews, we are staying at the hotel around the corner. We came in about 9:20 and were greeted like we were an inconvenience. The first server we saw, was snarky taking our order. The food left some things to be desired. My Sausage was pink in the middle. Little gravey and the mash was dry. My friend had the same dish and her Sausage was cooked all the through. My husband found a think black hair in his fries and when he looked in the kitchen he saw that the cook wasnt wearing any type of net over his thick black beard. We also watched the cook talk on his phone while he was on the line. The staff seemed much more interested in socializing then attending to any of their guests. Maybe they don't realize that we, the patrons of their establishment, pay their Bill's. The cleanliness rating of 4 should have been our first clue. We'll be reporting back to our hotel that this establishment shouldn't be recommended. Safe to assume that the negative reflection on the hotel wouldn't be desired.

Overall, pretty decent food options and drinks. It's great to grab a late day lunch. Location is awesome, too.

Food was good. Salad was fresh, penne arrabiata was zesty, beef goulash was savory. For dessert, the brownie was decadent, but heavy...would suggest splitting it. The crema catalana was like a creme brulee, but the top had a slightly burnt taste to it. As for the service, we've come to know that servers are "slow" in that they don't rush you, but we felt that this was more of an "inattentive" feeling. It would take a while to get someone's attention - we asked for the dessert menu & it was more than 10 minutes before we could get someone to take our order...I would assume that if i requested the dessert menu, you would come back in a somewhat short period of time assuming that I would want to order something.

As of Sept 5 2016, this location has been open for 5 weeks.. Funny the Japanese Sushi banner on the street is still hanging on the street lamps... We had the bangers / mash and a hamburger with fries... The burger was a 4 out of 5 and the apple sausage with mash potatoes was 4 out of 5. The sausages were crisp on the outside, giving it a nice snap when cutting into them. The burger was thick, tasted good, and was a soft bun. Would we come back, yes. Pictures later The owner is a politician at Parliament, which owns the Turkish and Italian restaurants just down the street.

The food here was great! The chicken fillet I ordered was flavorful. Where they got stars deducted was for serving me non-Heinz ketchup in a Heinz bottle with a 2016 expiration date. When I brought it to the attention of the staff, they answered "well it's ketchup" and walked away. Management didn't come when summoned. I'm not shocked because the stereotype of rude London servers and lacky service was prominent today, despite the signs plastered everywhere about management caring. It's a shame that happened because our party really did enjoy the meal.

We came here before we went to the London Eye. Wanted a quick meal and that's what we got. Ordered calamari and a burger. Calamari serving size was very small. The burger was pretty good. Was a good size and tasted great. Overall had a nice meal that was quick.

Visited for lunch October 24, 2019. Extremely disappointed, ordered the Fish and Chips was disgusting, full of oil on the batter. The service was awful, took them 30 minutes to take our order and we were not even acknowledged. We were about to leave when the server came over to take our order, we should of left. Dont even waste your time going to this place, look elsewhere.

Nope. I'll start with the good. They took us in after they apparently were closed. That's the good. I know we came in right as closing, but had just gotten back from a long day at Stonehenge. First, my daughters chicken bites came out, and there's no way you can't tell me those were McDonald's Chicken Nuggets (pink slime and all). They had the same shapes (round and kind of rectangular), same breading and crunch, and same exact flavor. Trust me I've been eating those since I was a kid and there's no way they weren't McD's standard issue. We asked the waiter if those were from McD's and his initial reaction was "yes", but to be real I don't think he understood (think he wasn't from London, as had a pretty thick accent). We then asked the manager the same question and he denied it, but I'm still not convinced. Second, my son's pizza was super sweet. Not a big deal, but he didn't like it so that was a negative. When does a kid not like pizza? Third, my wife and I had Cumberland sausage (also known as bangers and mash), but the sausages were not fully cooked and some looked raw. Let's just say my wife left the whole plate. I was hungry and ate the cooked portions of my sausage and the mash. This place is pretty pricey to so my recommendation is save the money.

The fries were sadly all cold but the fish and burgers were decent. Staff was not overly friendly or unfriendly just felt like they were churning a lot of ppl through every day and didn't pay attention to guests due to that.

Had evening meal here yesterday really surprised at the negative feedback, thought was the wrong place at first food and service was great. Well done to the team looking forward to my next visit

The service was super fast. I feel like we just sat down and then they brought our food over. Fish & Chips are very good. The place is clean and the staff is very polite. This place is a hidden gem. It's TEA TIME in London!

Westminster Kitchen was excellent. I had the lamb. It came with rice and salad. It was tasty with a large portion. The hot chocolate was tasty too. It was refreshing that although in a large tourist location, the price were fair. I could have that lamb many times again. The bathroom was impossible to move in it was so small. The Decore was young and fun. I would recommend this restaurant and go back if I'm ever visiting London again.

Steak was terrible. French fries under-cooked. Website menu says they have pizza but they actually don't. Maybe because I'm from the US that I have a high bar for restaurants, but this place is mediocre.

Cold food, looked as if it was from the night before, staff speak very poor English, essentially it just feels like a get you in take your money and get you out expirence, I certainly wouldnt recommend this place

What a joke of a restaurant, although family and I were seated quickly, it took 20+ minutes for us to unfortunately realize that they were never going to serve us because we are Filipino. When we stood up to leave, the servers/busser watched us walk out and told us to have a nice day.

It was decent. The food was ok, not the best we've eaten. The steak was poorly grilled and tasted like gasoline, but they didn't charge us for it. We were a family of four and we all thought the food was half assed. The staff was nice tho. But for the price I wouldn't recommend it.

Not bad. Not great. It is really close to the Marriott County Hall Hotel. Service was a bit slow and not friendly. Food was adequate. Steak cooked to order at medium rare. I had steak fillet, and my wife had fish. Prices were reasonable considering high tourist area. More of a burger, family friendly type place. It served my purpose for a meal before the marathon, but if I had more time to explore, I would have gone elsewhere.

Excellent lunch... our party ordered the chicken wings and rice, sea bass and mash, ghoulash, spaghetti Bologna's and spaghetti carbonara with chips and onion rings. We also started with an order of garlic bread and king prawns... everything was delicious!!! If we are ever to visit London again, we will definitely be back. The service was good as well :).

Truth be told, we never even ordered and left. We got greeted by the host as we entered. However when I said I needed a kids menu, he muttered under his breath in an accent that I didn't need one. I said clearly my 8 year old wants one. He sat us in a booth and left. After the comment and the dirtiness of the place, we left. I don't need to spend my hard earned money in a tourist trap dump lol.

Disappointed We went there because of Yelp reviews. They were out of most of what we wanted. No lamb burger. No garlic bread. Told my mother soup of the day was lentil but instead it was carrot & coriander....one of the acted annoyed that we kept requesting things like extra napkins, ketchup, water (which wasn't free anyway) etc..... My burger was average. My sister was b totally disappointed with everything a incentives what she wanted 'wasn't in stock' At the end a manager of sorts attempted to make up for things. He'd apparently been asked/told to come to that location to 'help out'. There were dirty glasses on the bar..... We would not recommend at all

Visited this place yesterday, food was awful and tasted off, asked for it to be replaced only to be served the exact same meal. We strongly advised to keep away from this place and I now have found out they my Credit card has been charged five times!!!! Staff were rude and unhelpful when I called!!

Over priced. Food does not come out as described on the menu. Ordered the prawn starters with "lime" sauce. Came out with some sweet butter concoction. Sea bass says pepper sauce. Came out with balsamic vinegar. Penne salmon way too much butter. Save your money, go somewhere else.
