I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent, the ambiance was beautiful, and the food was simply fantastic. A special thanks to Tom, the senior food and beverage manager, for his outstanding recommendations and attention and the staff. We had baby shower. Highly recommend!

As a wedding photographer, I love working with classic venues like Westwood Country Club. The ballroom is beautiful, especially for a lunch reception - full of light with gorgeous decor. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and treated the rest of us vendors well which says a lot about providing good service! The grounds were beautiful and we had plenty of great locations for portraits. The food looked delicious and everyone at the wedding seemed to have a great time. It was a perfect wedding reception and I hope I get to work with Westwood Country Club again!

Beautiful venue for wedding! Food is so good as well. Staffs are nice and will make sure to get all entres out on time for all the guests. I attended a wedding that was 200+ people, it was great! Book the ballroom with an outdoor ceremony.

I just had Sunday brunch there with some family and friends. EXCELLENT!!!!!!!! They had a wide variety of food spread out for the buffet...did I mention the buffet came with a mimosa. Everything Fancy!!! Sauteed lyonnaise potatoes, salmon with a creamy lemon dill sauce,bacon,sausage, Belgium Waffles,and French Toast. That's all on that plate 😂. They also had a fruit bar with excellent choices. And not to forget but the best damn omelette chef with cook to order master pieces. Kami was my waitress/ photographer 😁 Wonderful and attentive very professional as was the whole staff thank you for the experience.

I am beyond amazed with the attention to detail and outstanding service from Janie Mathieson ( Director of F&B) and her team for my daughters sweet 15 celebration this past weekend. The venue is beautiful and the food was delecious!!! My guest could not stop raving about the food and how gorgoues the venue is. Thank you again Janie and your team for making my daughters celebration so special.

As a professional wedding photographer, I recently had the pleasure of shooting a wedding reception at the Westwood Country Club in Vienna, Virginia. Every single staff member at the event I attended were helpful, patient, friendly, and eager to please. The drinks were well made, the food at our event had lots of variety and was all well prepared. The beef tenderloin sandwiches were amazing! The simulators had a variety of games that were all fun and entertaining. The staff was again more than helpful with those running smoothly. Had not been here in probably 22+ years, glad to see it has maintained its high level of service!

Amazing experience, from the friendly staff and amazing amenities, Westwood has it all! Great athletic facilities, golf, pool, and food.

Over the summer, we were invited to join a couple members for dinner. It was our first time here, and we had zero expectations going in. All in all, a great experience. Friday: $30 Prime Rib dinner (baked potato, veggies) Other options: Sushi, Pasta Quality (F&B): 9/10 Service: 9/10 (professional, friendly) Ambiance: 8.5/10 Cleanliness: 9/10 Location & Parking: 10/10

The experience is a bit up and down. I've seen it change through the years and some have been improvements and some have not. The biggest pro is the people here. You get to bump into friends and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The complimentary bread is pretty lackluster. It feels like they got some onion buns from Costco. None of the options felt very fresh and it might be nice to at least have them reheated in a combi oven or something. I've noticed the burger quality increase. I felt a few years ago they might have been using frozen patties. The burger I had recently was pretty juicy and thought it was executed well. The steak quality is also improved. I thought the cook temp on the steaks seemed to lean a bit overcooked. If you order medium rare it ends up closer to medium, medium+ The desserts always satisfy. I doubt you could go wrong with any of the desserts. I also am not sure if they've changed water filters but now the ice water tastes quite good. I've noticed a wet cardboard mousy aroma for maybe 2 years that seems to be gone now. I wasn't sure if maybe it had to do with chlorinated or bromated cleaning products giving the water a TCA flavor. It's not a big big deal, but I had clear finger prints on the butter knife. We exchanged it, but it's not something that really inspires confidence when dining. Overall, I can see they're workshopping things and would give them the benefit of the doubt. I wish they'd bring back the salad bar but I know that won't happen. We've had a lot of good memories at Westwood, but it doesn't feel as family and tight knit as it used to.

I recently had the privilege of celebrating the 4th of July at Westwood. My BF, his mom, and I started the day at the gym, which was very clean and had a variety of cardio and weight equipment for members to choose from. We then spent most of the afternoon by the pool and had lunch at the poolside lunch buffet. It's a great family-friendly environment, although it was quite crowded for the holiday. Westwood also held a 4th of July dinner buffet for club members. Food and the alcoholic drinks were high quality (I ordered an Andes Mint Martini, which was very unique and appealed to my inner child), and the service was great. This was my first time seeing fireworks so close, and we got premiere seats on the 2nd floor. I cannot comment on all the amenities Westwood has to offer, but my overall impression is that it is a very beautiful and well-kept country club. Initiation fees and monthly dues are verry expensive and beyond my current pay grade (someday!! lol), but as a visitor I give it an A+ experience.

Located in Vienna, Westwood Country Club has a beautiful 60,000 foot club house, a premiere 18-hole golf course, several tennis courts, a heated Olympic swimming pool, fitness/rec center and remodeled tennis/pool clubhouse. About half the tennis courts are under a bubble, so you can use them year round. The banquet management staff (especially Janie) is fantastic to work with on planning and staffing events and have worked very well with a litany of vendors to ensure photography, floral arrangements, musical entertainment, pastry chefs, and decor are absolutely perfect for special events.

I went here for my friend's wedding and I was absolutely amazed by their service. Forest, the reversal process was seamless and they let the couple really take their time for their special day. The actual event was spectacular. The staff were extremely attentive but they were like ninjas, only there when there was a mission. When the couple had to greet guests, instead of putting their meal out, they kept it in the kitchen to stay warm. It was those minor "attention to detail things" that impressed me. My only gripe was that there were not enough utensils during the cocktail hour, but I arrived at a weird time, and within 15 minutes, more utensils arrived. The venue itself is very pretty.

My husband and I were married at Westwood on 12/19/2019. While I normally fancy myself one with words, it is truly hard to put into a review how amazing our wedding at Westwood Country Club and how fantastic the entire experience was. Our wedding planning was a bit unorthodox, as we reserved the date over two years in advanced before we were engaged. However, we knew Westwood would be the perfect location and we wanted to secure the date far in advanced. Once we got to less than a year out, we worked very closely with Janie Mathieson to plan our dream wedding. Janie was always available to talk, meet, or email, and she did a fantastic job laying out everything we would need to make the wedding work and a timeline for us to follow. This was so helpful, as I had no idea really where to start on certain things. She helped recommend florists, chair vendors, and anything else we needed for the big day. Getting closer to the event, we worked very close with her for certain things we wanted to make sure we had. For instance, my husband and I are very into craft beer, and Janie was able to take our list of our favorite beers (from all over the world) and secure a great selection for the day of. Another example of how hard Janie and everyone at Westwood worked was certain requests I had related to décor. Since we were getting married around Christmas time, and Westwood hosts many Christmas parties and events, I asked Janie if we could move some of the décor in order to not clash with our wedding and because it was a Jewish wedding. Janie and I talked about this many times before the week of. Even the day before the wedding, Janie took me around the ballroom and showed me everything they were going to do to make sure things were out of the way and still worked for our wedding. Since the weather was also not looking good, Janie took me around the venue to show where we could take indoor or covered photos if it came to that. I felt really lucky that she was willing to do this and felt incredibly confident that everything would go well. On the day of, Janie and her staff did an amazing job. Janie was great at keeping everyone on track, both for photos, timing, and the flow of the event. The sun came out just in time for outdoor photos and the golf course and beautiful stone that Westwood has was the perfect backdrop. The staff at Westwood did a fantastic job setting everything up for both the ceremony and the dinner. Part of me thinks it goes without saying, but the food was absolutely to die for. Nothing beats Westwood food and it was even better than what you would get in the dinning room, which is already pretty amazing. All of our guests were talking about it and I was so happy. We also have about 10 guests that were Vegan, so it was super easy to come up with alternatives for them to eat. Overall, the night would not have been the same if it weren't at Westwood. It was such a perfect evening and I really want to thank Janie and the staff at Westwood for making it so special.

Went here for a conference. Instead of serving breakfast like many of the hotels in the area do for morning conferences, they just had aluminum foil-wrapped breakfast sandwiches. They were homemade and tasty, but a little runny and soggy after having been wrapped and stacked on a table. The room itself wasn't very good. First of all, the walls between ballrooms must be paper thin. We could barely here our speaker sometimes because the noise was so loud from the neighboring room. Also, I noticed the chandeliers had several burned out lightbulbs. I expected a country club to seem much more prestigious and well-kept, but I didn't see anything that would make me want to book an event here or ever consider membership.

On March 22, 2017, around 2:15 pm; I and my mom had a terrible and unexpected experience in Westwood Country Club. A few days before that, I won free ticket meal for two people from this club, so I invited my mom to celebrate our new year in this club. I called the club restaurant and explained about my ticket, they offered that we should come there before 3pm. When we went there and showed the letter for free meal, the manager told that we must pay for our meals. At that time, I got very bad feeling. Their action showed me how they are not responsible about their obligations, and it may was a trick to attract customers. However, it made for me a negative idea about this place. Their behavior on that specific day disturbed my mood.

Love this place. Been a member for 10 years and it's very welcoming. Fantastic if you have small kids. Mine were older when we joined, but still lots for them to get involved with. Holiday events here are great, and wait staff is top notch. Highly recommend if you are looking for a club to join.

I was here for a conference. The greens looked really nice, framed by the changing leaves on the trees. The wireless was free and fast. The service was excellent. The bathroom was a little untidy and only had two stalls.

First off, let me clarify that I am not a member nor would I ever join a country club! I've been a guest at Westwood regularly for over 20 years and I've seen the place transform. It's a nice set up, the staff is courteous and the facilities are in great shape. There isn't a large menu, and I'm a picky eater but the foods I eat there are very good! I don't golf but I've enjoyed using the driving range and putting greens when I was younger. The pool and tennis courts are nice. Country Clubs are overpriced and unnecessary fees in my personal opinion but they do a nice job and if you're into the country club lifestyle and have money to spend - Westwood is a place I'd suggest!

attended an awesome camp conference here, and our company setup a booth here. they did an awesome job keeping parents and kids happy. The facilities here are great. Spacious and comfortable.

I have had several lunches & dinners here over the years as a guest of a member. The patio welcomes all ages with casual clothing either from the pool, golf course or work-out room. The service is always impeccable. Friday nights have an all you can eat seafood bar, which smelled wonderful. The cosmos are to die for. I like the different dining rooms: some for adult only, some welcome families for more of a casual dining experience. They've done a complete re-design of their golf course, and members seem to love it. Many events are held here which is conveniently located to both Vienna & the Tyson's Corner area. Many selections of hotels, shopping, quaint stores are accessible.

Best place to have a wedding! You don't have to be a member :) make sure to ask for Janie she's awesome!

Obviously Charley V. hasn't been to Westwood Country Club in a while. (His one star review was written in 09). They have a hot new chef who's menus have completely changed the face of our club. Yes, you have to be a member or a guest of a member. But it's not only about food! They have the best tennis and golf facility's in Virginia! And just now completing a $10 million upgrade to the entire golf course and pool house. And the big reason we joined is because the staff Is WONDERFUL. Just like family! It's a great club!

Beautiful view. Nice ballroom. Food not bad. People have always been very nice. Im not a member but have been several times for events.

Good tennis bubbles with nice cieling height! Tennis clubhouse also has ample seating/stretching room.

Excellent community country club. Centrally located between tysons corner and downtown Vienna. Club house is relatively new and very clean. The golf course recently renovated,very playable and challenging parkland course. The pool and pool house are also like new and great for kids with a comfortable bar for adults. Food top notch with friendly staff.

The newly designed golf course is great. It's a great improvement. The food is also fantastic. The general manager is doing a great job with personal touch.

I tried to have my wedding there because of the pretty venue but the Event planner there Deliliah never returned my calls and never emailed the documents she was suppose to. Very shocked by the lack of service at an establishment like Westwood.

We held our daughter's wedding reception at Westwood Country Club this past Nov. Every detail was carefully attended to. The food was excellent and the staff could not have been nicer. Their event planner, Dalila Dougly is excellent and very easy to work with. I highly recommend it as a venue for any important event.

I should have written this review sooner to give proper kudos to the great staff at Westwood. I hosted a baby shower here in November, 2013 and the staff could not have been more accommodating. From helping to achieve the vision of the nautical theme, to the tasty menu, to resolving some drama with the outside bakery the experience was A+ from beginning to end. My friends and family are still commenting on the fabulous shower.
