James Harden Thinks Vic & Anthony’s Is Houston’s Best Restaurant | Eater Houston

"After serving its final mai tais, Spring tiki bar Howie’s has been sold by owner Mark “Howie” Voros to Warren Broderick and Chanda Chaney and will be revamped as an Irish pub called the Wet Leprechaun Tavern, swapping tiki cocktails for Irish pints following lagging sales." - Amy McCarthy

I don’t know what happened today, but my husband and I tried to come for the first time to Wet Leprechaun Pub & Grill. But the customer service at the front was not good at all. We placed our order, my dish came out first, and then 15 minutes later my husband’s. I had to eat with my hand, and the plate they served my husband on was broken and poorly presented. I know it might just be a bar, but customer service is essential. The girl who attended us seemed more concerned about a friend than about the customers. And I had to go get paper from the bathroom to clean my hands because they didn’t even offer us napkins. My husband had to get up and take her the check just so we could leave. Definitely a bad experience I don’t recommend it and I wouldn’t go back.

I loved this place the first 2 times I came. Barclay, was awesome. Me and my ex-husband, who is transgender, have been here several times and felt very welcomed. When we come tonight we were ignored, got dirty looks from other patrons and the bar tender was more interested in drinking than serving us.

OMG…. You have got to try this sandwich… it’s called the Travis!!!! So good!!! You can even do uber eats,.., but I prefer to come and have a cocktail while I enjoy the Travis!!

Small but quaint place for a relaxing atmosphere. Reasonable price, friendly folks, and ample parking. A true pub with excellent food, plus lively, fun karaoke twice a week (Wednesdays and Saturday 8PM-12AM). Bartenders can be engaging or leave you to your peace, your choice. The chicken tenders, along with other creative dishes, beat Raisin Cane by a mile, and a few dollars. Thanks, Eric

Wet Leprechaun is a hidden gem for sure! The whole vibe is just so welcoming and relaxed. I love going up there during the day to just have a few drinks and hangout with some great people! Barclay is the best! He really gets to know his customers and treats everyone like friends. As soon as I walk in the door, I’m always greeted with a smile and my regular order. He’s a true mixologist! The prices are great! Karaoke night with DJ Redd is always a fun time! The food is delicious! Just a really great environment. Can’t recommend this pub enough!

This is a great little place with good people. The owners love to be present and spend time hanging out with the patrons and getting to know them. The food is great as well. I highly recommend the fish and chips and the tacos on TACO Tuesday’s are delicious. If you’re looking for a small but lively place I suggest you stop in.

I had a great experience today thank you to the bartender Redd! She is cheerful, such a great personality, and is really attentive. Will definitely be coming back!

Dropped in for a quick bite to finally try the food and it did not disappoint. I am a bougie Reuben eater and the Reuben Egg Rolls were top not and always fun to have a little banter with Barclay. Perfect spot to drop in on the way home while traffic dies down

Yelp
Nice little place. Comfortable atmosphere. Small game room in the back good bar tenders. There is no lunch menu or kitchen but does offer finger type snacks. On special occasions they do food. just ask. Restrooms clean and stocked. Karaoke on certain days. Smoking allowed. It's a small low key great for conversation where you don't have to talk over a packed crowed. Come check it out!

Yelp
Fun and friendly. Wings are on point and the burgers will put you to sleep. Shae is sarcastic and funny.

Yelp
I'm wayyyy overdue to write this review! I've been coming to this bar for a while now - it's a little shotgun bar in the center of a strip mall, with an Irish theme (owner is from The Emerald Isle), with a good whisky selection, Guinness on draft, and live music on Fridays. I'll tell you that what makes the bar for me is Shae, the bartender. She's so much fun - warm, inviting, engaging, and funny! She makes the bar for me - my friends and I have a great time when she's working. If you are in the area, drop by. It's a good neighborhood bar, people are really friendly. I hope to see you here!

Yelp
I stopped by for a drink and this place is clean and fun. My tab was 20$. Bartender and sin (patron who seems to be a regular) had me laughing. This place is cool and I'll def be going back.

Yelp
This place barely counts as a bar. I ordered a whiskey and ginger ale, and they don't have ginger ale. Ok, some bars don't. So I order a whiskey and root beer instead. They don't have that either. Basically, your only option mixer-wise is coke, but the draught options are limited too. Also, everyone in there smokes with just a desk fan pointed toward the door.
