Wetzel's Pretzels

If you are a tourist you should try this place 100% its bomb! I dont know what their secret ingredient is, but it is addicting! I always get the peperoni jalapeño pretzel along with the cinnamon bites! Their lemonades are bomb too. This is less than 5 minutes away from the entrance to Disneyland.

Great pretzels and quick service! The pretzels are always fresh, warm, and perfectly soft with just the right amount of salt. The dipping sauces add a nice touch, and the variety of options is a plus. My only minor complaint is that the prices are a bit on the higher side for what you get, but overall, it’s a tasty treat worth trying. Would definitely recommend!

Unbelievably disappointing. I was ready to spend money, but the staff clearly couldn’t care less. They were rude, dismissive, and acted like it was an inconvenience. How do you write out of items to sell at a resort. Basically, “Just grab a drink or leave.” I ended up spending my money elsewhere, where the staff actually wanted customers. For a place inside Downtown Disney, you’d expect better.

Who doesn’t love pretzels and we always stop at this Disney location. The staff is super friendly and they take your order and get you out as quickly as they can. This time the pretzels were super oily and you needed several napkins. The cheese sauce is also salty and a bit too thick for my liking. Also the lemonade has an after taste and is not freshly squeezed. These pretzel bites are gonna cost you a little over $11 😬

This place always running out of stuff / why promote an item and not have it then you purchase a jalapeño pretzel and you get this ! Crappy next time I’ll stick to the one at the outlets not worth it save you’re money this is not okay specially at disney if they look like this toss them sample why sell it

My children loved this place. Super buttery and delicious. The service was quick 3 out of our 4 visits and while the 4th took longer, they offered two free drinks in Lou of our "inconvenience." Clean store front with friendly staff.

For being a super popular eating/ snack location in downtown disney, the line moves pretty quickly. The staff here is always visible making more yummy treats for fan goers to enjoy. The items are always fresh and hot for that same reason. Nothing every taste like it has been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Which sometimes is what you get at other locations that might not have a high foot traffic. There is no seating inside the actual shop but since it is in down town Disney there is plenty of seating around the area. Most of the time that we have passed by there they are almost always passing out samples of their special treats or their lemonade.

Pretzel are always amazing but stef that was on the cart today around 12pm was more focused on picking at his acne than helping did not wash his hands after picking at his acne and face was bleeding then handed us our pretzel and frozen lemonade....

Unfortunately our experience was awful Very rude customer service We were deciding what we wanted and the guy was rushing us, there was no one else in the store He was very rude we ordered and the cashier was even worse You definitely should do more training on customer service or hire people who actually enjoy there work Food was okay the experience made it bad I definitely won't be back to this location The small kiosk closed to Disneyland is much better

I love me some Wetzel pretzels good service. I always asked to give me the freshest pretzels they have and they never fail.

My only problem is that the food is more expensive than if you're going to any location that's not on Disney property. But I can't help myself and enjoy this delicious food! Tiny store and long lines but line moves quick enough. Not much to say about the ambiance, I'm just there for Wetzel's Pretzels products!

They definitely upped the prices here (it's $14 for a bag of pretzels) BUT it's worth it. The line moved quickly, the pretzels were hot, fresh, salty, and absolutely delicious. There isn't a Wetzel's by me at home so I get it every time I can when I'm out of town. They have a best soft pretzels and I love their jalapeno cheese sauce!

The pretzels are so good, always so busy here but well worth the wait! Highly recommend coming by, the cheese dogs are real good. Yummy pretzels. Staff greeted us kindly and energetically. Fast service and good value. I will definitely come here again.

Super slow service and unfresh pretzel. Also, the prices are so outrageously expensive that it's laughable. I got suckered into this place because I really wanted lemonade, and man, did I pay for it. Can't understand why they didn't have fresh pretzels. Ours tasted like it has been sitting there since the morning. At their sky high prices the least they could do is throw away old stale and cold pretzels...or better yet...donate them to a charity or something!

Stopped for a drink last night after Disney, we walk in to no greeting but a "WE'RE ONLY SELLINGS DRINKS NO FOOD" like okay, that's fine. I tell her that's what we are getting. We go to pay at the register and I clearly don't have a happy face after a very rude interaction as we just walked in and then the woman at the register gives me a dirty look. Look I get you may have a stressful job working at a wetzels pretzels in Downtown disney but don't forget a main part of your job is customer service. Because that attitude from both of the women employees was not it, and needs to be left at home. As I work in customer service myself I know that it is not hard to be kind to others even if it takes a little out of you. Not to mention the stares, talking and giggling as we walked out the store. I waved goodbye because they had so much to say but not to me directly I just thought I'd say bye. Anyways I just think they need to work on their customer service skills period.

Perfect snack for walking around or if its a wait for your dining reservation! This last time we were here, we were starving and needed something to tie us over until our late lunch reservation and this is the perfect portion! This Wetzel's Pretzels is located in Downtown Disney area of the Disneyland Resort. Its offers fresh, hand made pretzels, pretzel bits, wrapped pretzel dogs, lemonade, dipping cheese and sodas. You can watch them make it! Pepperoni bits/pretzel - great snack for when you want something savory! You can either get it in a pretzel shape or cut up bite size pieces/bits. Dunk these in jalapeño cheese! Original Pretzel - soft, doughy, chewy goodness! Love these! I like Wetzel's better than the Mickey ones inside the park as they are usually softer and fresher. Dunk these in jalapeño cheese too! Fresh Lemonade - this always hits the spot on warm summer days! Jalepeno Cheese dip - the portion is small but love the flavor and texture. It's always consistently good. I feel the portion should be 1.5 size, but 2 is too much for 1 pretzel. Oh, these 1st world problems! Located in the central area of DTD, next to Salt & Straw and across from the Grand Californian Hotel and The Disney Dress Shop. Super convenient! Prices are steep for these convenient snacks. Parking is not as convenient to get here, but people are here because they are within the Disneyland resort. Service is sometimes a bit slow. Recommended

Great place to get a snack while walking around downtown Disney. The pretzels are always fresh and delicious. Crazy busy on weekends. Great customer service Delicious pretzels.

Decided to get the Holiday apron promotion. which is ( Get a free apron with $40 purchase )! I got food. But, you can get merchandise too. ( mugs, tumblers, stickers, socks , Fanny pack and more ...) Busy location in Downtown Disney. It's great for a quick bite though. Lines moves quickly. So many employees for a small space. I like the mini bites because it comes in a cup and it's easier to eat! I like to eat nearby and people watch!

OMG! They have a new Smores Bitz and the portion size is huge. It is served with chocolate bits and mini marshmallows all over the pretzel bites. It is outstanding!!

Maria was so very kind & amazing customer service! My order was quick, hot and fresh. She made sure I left with a smile on my face. Very pleased with the service I received also, the food is delicious.

On a hot Downtown Disneydat, there is nothing more refreshing than a Wetzels frozen lemonade. Plus you gotta pair it with some mini dogs. The store was very clean and the line moved quick.

The amount of volume this Wetzel's Pretzels does is incredible! There's almost always a line, but trust me, it's worth the wait. Because they are so busy, the pretzels are always super fresh. And for some reason, the pretzels here just seem thicker and softer than in other locations. In fact, every time I eat at another Wetzel's, or one of their competitors, I'm always disappointed. You have to wonder how long that pretzel has been sitting there. Be warned though, because they are so busy, they may not have the exact pretzel you want, or you might have a wait for it. Unless you just called to board Rise of the Resistance, I think it's worth the wait for a fresh one just out of the oven.

I rarely get pretzels because they are always hard and nearly inedible, not the case here. Just wanted a little snack and drink, this stop hit the spot. Hubby and I shared a pizza pretzel and a lemonade. Both were very good. Pretzel was crunchy on the outside, hot and soft inside, cooked just right. They had French's and Gulden's mustard. Cashier was nice. Quick service. Minus 1 star because it was 16.50 for 1 pretzel and 1 lemonade. A bit pricey but, I know the mouse needs his cut. Will eat here again.

Bad customer service. Went in on 8/16/22 in the mid-afternoon. Ordered a "Combo # 3" as listed on their sign. The cashier grabbed the pretzel bites only and asked if I wanted anything else. I responded "doesn't the drink and dip come with the combo?" and was told I still have to order everything individually. Why make the customer tell you what's on the signage at your own store? The cashier was not friendly about any of this either. Very deadpan and borderline rude. To top it off, I ordered unsalted pretzel bites and received very salted ones instead. For $21 I would expect a better experience.

Pretzels and lemonade are wayyyyy better than what you'll get inside the Parks (Disneyland). But, it's more pricey. You get what you pay for. My kids love the pretzel pizza bites, and the lemonade is perfectly sour. Service is always pretty slow here, so that's why it's only 4 stars. For fresh warm pretzels and a refreshing drink, this is a great spot to hit up!

Stopped by for National pretzel day and had the best pretzel I've ever had! We only waited 5 minutes for our free salted original pretzel and it came out piping hot and ohh so good! Thank you so much for serving everyone with a smile and being so efficient despite the high volume!

LIZZY HAD TO BE THE WORST PERSON TO TAKE OUR ORDER TODAY AT THE REGISTER !!! Horrible customer service, LIKE A ROBOT ! she took our order but she was more concerned about helping the people next to us, even tho they were being helped by someone else . She couldn't even make eye contact smile looked upset got annoyed of us asking is that the only size of cup like she didn't want to be there nor felt like she wanted to take our order!!!!!

Good employees are hard to find, friendly employees are even harder! Waiting in line and seeing the 4 bakers talking & joking amongst themselves with no greeting or smile made the 10 minute wait to get through the line that much longer. The young lady at the cash register was very nice. There needs to be a meeting regarding working with a smile and some positive attitude adjustments at this location especially with the amount of customers waiting in line. Hopefully I'm not being to harsh but this is the reality of this location at Downtown Disney. Stark difference from the smiling candy apple makers who work through a window across from this location.

Pretzels were slightly undercooked, but the staff were friendly. They were also out of the sleeves for the pretzels, so they put them in a plastic bag instead of a wax bag which was odd since we went near opening time.

When I would go to Disneyland I would stop here in downtown and grab a pretzel before heading into the park. I like them better than the park's pretzels, though those are good too. I do the basic pretzel, which they always have plenty available, if you're wanting something for fancy than salted with butter then you may be waiting a little while to get it.

The food was not fresh and it gave all my family diarrhea... I would not recommend this place if you are at downtown Disney.

Have been to multiple wetzel pretzel location and this was the first time I felt pretty disappointed in the quality of the dog bites. The service was pretty typical. You get greeted and then you order your food. After ordering the dog bites I was old that they would be fresh out of the oven in ten minutes. So I decided to wait for them to come out since they didn't have any readily available. During this time I walked around to the other stores. When ten minute hit I came back and they had it ready for me. I was very pleased that they had my order ready. But when I opened the bag I was very sad at how it looked. The dough was not crispy and there was still water in the cup. I asked if this was normal and they said it was. It also looked like the cup was only half full when normally it goes all the way to the top.

The food is exactly what you'd expect, it's a chain. Good pretzels, especially fresh. Now let's get to the 1 star portion: the shift manager Maria has on several separate occasions been extremely rude to myself and other LGBT patrons. While spending MY MONEY there she has not shown any effort to speak kindly or think critically about the way she speaks to customers. She has misgendered my wife on more than on occasion and when confronted and asked to stop she laughed or shrugged it off. Especially for a business on Disney property I'm genuinely shocked but the unfriendly and rude attitude this manager gives off. Today I saw someone else confront her about the same thing and she just walked away. It really ruined my Disney experience and we left after that.

I usually don't like to leave negative reviews, However my experience at this wetzel's Pretzels was horrid. Specifically the workers behavior, They seemed very annoyed with us because we accidentally spilled a lemonade, I had to direct customers around the spill as some of the employees chatted in the kitchen. The spill was left unattended for about 5-10 minutes. We told the employees of the spill to which they did not acknowledge us. We had ordered cheese and ordered glazed bitz however they must've misunderstood us which is an honest mistake but when we went to let them know they seemed very upset, but did resolve it

They were still gonna be open for an hour and they wouldn't make pretzel bites I made a mistake going there earlier and it had been sitting for 40 minutes I found out that's why they tasted so bad And they refused to replace

Wetzel's pretzels is located in downtown Disney. For those staying at the Grand California It's right across security checkpoint to get into downtown Disney.... Really convenient location. I've never had Wetzel's before my most recent trip to Disneyland and originally stopped in because I was on a 9 out of 10 on the hunger scale and getting really hangry. There was a very short line both times that I went and service was very quick. My favorite item on the menu is the wetzel dog, which is basically a hot dog and a spiral pretzel bun. It's a really good go-to if you've waited too long to eat and are in a pinch. In terms of pricing, I think the pretzels are okay but the drinks are obnoxious... But you also have to take into consideration that this is located within downtown Disney and everything else is similarly priced.

Service was good but dang it was a freaking rip off. $7 for a drink and $7 for their plain nuggets plus taxes and tip. I should have gone to a foodcourt close by. That kiosk/business is a joke.

The pizza bites are a complete rip off! No sauce or cheese inside, they're just pizza crusts! How do you people stay open if you rip people off like this?! I paid 11 bucks and they wouldn't even give me dipping sauce because oh. That's an extra 2 bucks! What a RIP!!!

This is the only Wetzels Pretzels that I love coming to. I'm from the OC area and all the mall locations nearby are okay... but this one has something special about it. The staff are always friendly and they're always busy so that means the pretzels are always super fresh. My wife and l love that they have so many frozen drinks to choose from. Can't beat that in this summer heat. Surprisingly there's not that many grab n' go refreshments offered in the Downtown Disney area (other than bottled drinks) so we love to stop by and grab a drink before heading to the parks. Our most recent visit was 2 weeks ago, and they were very welcoming. We've been Magic Key holders for years now and this is always our go-to when looking for an affordable snack. If you like the pretzels extra fresh, be sure to ask! They don't mind and it does not take long.

I gave one star because of the No star option wasn't a choice for this establishment. Grrrr Let me explain to you why? Our cashier had to be told multiple times what we wanted to order, then proceeded to read it back to us incorrectly. Seriously I just don't get it. O let's get to the good part. Our order of pretzel bites was going to take 10 minutes, it needed up turning into 20 minutes because one of the other employees sold them. Hahahaha how funny is that? So I would highly recommend you visit a different pretzel place or wait inside so you don't get overlooked and have to wait extra long for your items, O and don't forget to have the cashier read your order back, to ensure you have the right items ordered. SMH

This place is good but our cashier Fátima was not a friendly person but other then that the food is good.

Horrible service. Very rude people working here. Very ironic for Disney property. Need the staff to be more hospital. Been to this location many times and it's always the same. I love pretzels so I'll keep coming but service is awful

This has to be one of my favorite Wetzel Pretzels locations in Southern California. I will tell you why. 1. Always fresh and hot! This location is poppin' with all the Disney goers wanting a quick bite, it keeps things moving and the food goes quick. Which also means, fresh pretzels are continuously being made. Good news for us (yay!) Sadly, I don't have any photos to share, because I scarf down my pretzels so fast and think about a picture after it is too late! lol 2. Great location. You can grab a pretzel on your way into the park or even on your way out. What I like to do, is grab a pretzel at the end of the day/evening and enjoy my pretzel while I ride the tram to the parking lot. Perfection! I find it hard to walk and eat Wetzels Pretzels so the tram makes it easy. 3. Free samples. Not all Wetzels Pretzels offer free samples at the door. I like that this location is on it! They had samples of the lemonade flavors last time I was there, and it was so refreshing that I ordered a cup of it! Also I had not tried the cinnamon Pretzel bites until it came as a sample and now it is a must when I go. People love free stuff and it helps you to try out different menu items.

The first thing that stood out was workers were not friendly and helpful. As this location is located inside Downtown Disney there are many tourists left and right who either need help with the app or have questions about the products. I noticed that when they asked questions the workers were always annoyed and lacked communication skills. They were rude when they had to do something out of their routine such as scanning the app for the birthday rewards, explaining the different hot dogs, and when customers took awhile to order. They want customers in and out and the little conversation involved the better. Out of all the Wetzel Pretzel locations I have been to, this is the only one that sells merchandise with logos on them. They have a good selection of merchandise from mugs to plastic cups, and other items that have their logo on them. As for the food, they are always fresh, especially the pretzels - they are hot, greasy, and salty the way a pretzel should be. Since there are plenty of customers the pretzels never have a chance to sit long in the display case so they are not stale or cold as they are constantly refilling new pretzels. They have all the flavors from cinnamon to pizza along with many sauce options. As for the drinks they have the usual soda and fruit flavored drinks. The lines are long but they go fast as the workers work quickly to get the orders out. They have many of the food items ready to go and always have plenty available of all the flavors.

Stopped in to grab a quick snack after I did some Christmas shopping. They did not have the Pizza Jalapeño pretzel available and I didn't want to wait 10 min. The chick at the register was a bit rude when I asked her how much it was to validate since I was a dumb dumb and forgot to validate at the Disney Store. She told me the minimum was $20. When I told her I just spent a ton of money at the Disney Store ( you could see by the big ass bags I had) she didn't even bat an eye. The reason I bring this up is after I ate my Pizza Pretzel, I walked over to the Disney Store and without showing my receipt the nice cashier validated my parking. If she had just an ounce of decency she could have glanced at my receipt and validated. Its safe to assume that they have the same system, because I have gotten my parking validated at Sprinkles, Tortilla Joes, and several other establishments with no issues. Anyway, with that being said. I probably won't stop in here. The pretzel was good, but the customer service sucked.

I do not think I have ever received such great service. I came in July 7th right after the fireworks. The store was busy but I wanted a tasty snack ... Lori, the cashier was amazing. She got my pretzel and suggested a refreshing strawberry lemonade as well as a cheese dip to go along with it. Definitely coming again!

Pretzel: 5/5 great However, they are always out of items when I try to line up and buy pretzels to eat. Specifically, the mini hot dogs , mini pretzel bites, or pretzel dogs. No matter what time of the day, it's a hit of miss in terms of what is available. We're Disneyland pass holders so we come through downtown Disney often (4-6 times a month). For example, they open at 9am and most people come for lunch & snack around 11:30am. At 11:30am, they only had plain pretzels & pepperoni pretzels...with 1 person making/baking...2 people packing...and 2 cashiers. From a process improvement perspective, there needs to be more people baking to keep up with the demand of pretzels that customers are looking to purchase during lunch. & improved coordination with what to bake next to ensure a fully stocked menu for customers to buy. Otherwise, an empty inventory = lost opportunity of a sale.

Their pretzel bites are raw in the middle. We've gone to 2 separate places, and the same thing. Their costomer service if terrible. Unless you want food poisoning, wouldn't recommend going here.​
