Ordered £6 worth of chicken soup and got it in this tiny cup. Dumpling was really over boiled could not eat it, but barely any potato veg and chicken as there was no space. The soup water was nice. Also ordered a crumble and custard which was nice otherwise would’ve been 2 stars.

Nope, nope and nope. Ordered a mutton soup for 5.50 which was unbelievably tiny with absolutely no mutton in whatsoever as per video and just tasted of cloves. Salt fish fritter was cold and the jerk wings did not taste like pan at all. There was no smoke flavour. I usually go to top taste but I thought I'd give you a go and I was disappointed. Sorry. Not for me I'm afraid.

Really good service and very helpful, even let me sample first before buying! Cost 13.50 for a big serving of oxtail & rice and peas, plus the cabbage which is a bit expensive for one meal but they gave lots of meat and it tasted great.

Food is beyond perfect, I had peppered steak and Jollof rice and can definitely say I will be trying many more meals here. Peter was amazing and such a down to earth guy.

I used to buy from here regularly during the pandemic because the rum cake was a solid 9/10. I even spoke to the owner or one of the cooks when they were sold out due to flour shortages. He was really nice. Cut to yesterday and I tried to order (roughly £50 of food) and the order was cancelled. I phoned to make sure I hadn’t messed up somehow and the lady said she cancelled the entire order because they ran out of one item and asked me to reorder. Not sure why the who order had to be cancelled when they could have just phoned and asked me to pick something else. Anyway, I tried to order again and then I was told they’re not accepting orders. Phoned again to check. Apparently the WiFi was down. Ended up not ordering after all. Really wanted to support this business again so I tried again today (a smaller order, about £23). Ordered the rum cake because it’s amazing even though the price increased from £3 in the pandemic to £5 now. My order arrives and the cake is pre packaged and has A £1 STICKER ON IT. So obviously it’s not the same product I thought I was buying and if I’d gone in the shop, they’d charge me £1 for it. I phoned to ask them to ask them when they changed the product. GET THIS: First I asked if they make it, the Jamaican woman said no then she asked her colleague (apparently the cook). She giggled and then came back to me and said yes, they do make it. That’s when I told her I have it sitting right in front of me and it is prepackaged. She told her colleague what i said and I heard him say they they’re supposed to take the sticker off so she comes back and tells me that. I then ask her when they started selling this version and told her that as far as I remember the owner used to make it himself but it definitely was ‘homemade’. All now I’m being polite as I find the whole thing a little funny. Then she starts SHOUTING at me talking about “what do you waan me to do, it’s nut my prablem”. I ask her why she’s shouting and she telling me to come to the shop and talk to ‘Serena’. As if I know who that is. She keeps shouting over me to come and see Serena while I’m telling her that her “customer service is poor”. She then puts the phone down on me. Now mind you, I’m Jamaican myself and I made a rum cake for Xmas so I know what good quality is. This cake is too fluffy and tastes like banana and marzipan?? If I paid £1 I wouldn’t care but for £5 I sure am gonna call. Plus I bought 2 so paid £10. ADVICE TO OWNER: Train that Jamaican woman up on how to speak to people with manners and how to solve customer complaints without conflict or stop letting her talk to customers completely. Stop overcharging for bad quality product from a little factory in Bellingham. Remove the pictures of the grill because your jerk chicken tastes boiled with store bought sauce poured on top (as someone else said, there’s no smoke or char to it). I’m ashamed to have recommended this place to people now.

Went in for lunch today with my other half, was more than pleased with the service and quality of food. Curry goat was especially nice, wonderfully tender and very flavourful, also recommended their fruit punch - was really refreshing! Overall a great venue and brilliant place to eat, will definitely be coming again !

Rice and peas had two peas in it, fatty oxtail not much meat on (I've made better) partner asked if fish had pepper said no burn the roof of mouth off as has ulcers. Not even Caribbean Kfc ever gave such a small portion of coleslaw. Got the 'LARGE' portion, my pet gets more food should be enough to have seconds the next day. Was not impressed won't be going back!

This place is a winner! Recently tried this Jamaican take-out and it was fantastic. The oxtail was tender, the pepper steak had just the right kick, and the jollof rice was bursting with flavour. And to top it off, the plantains were the perfect complement to the dishes. The owner's hospitality is top-notch, and we had a great talk about Jamaican cooking. As a first-time customer, I couldn't have been more satisfied. A must-visit for anyone craving authentic Jamaican cuisine. Although I missed out on the jerk chicken this time (sold out!), I'll definitely be back here again to try some more. Highly recommend!
