"The Watertown Thai restaurant focuses almost exclusively on khao man gai, a popular chicken rice dish with variations found throughout Southeast Asia. Feed the whole family with a $70 combo that includes family-sized portions of poached, fried, and grilled chicken; ginger rice; six daikon soups; and two portions each of three sauces (ginger, sweet chile, and tamarind)." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

If you have a heat intolerance do not add the ginger sauce, rice tastes fine on own. If you like heat dump the whole sauce in. I like spice however after several mouthful it became a bit much. Food fine, not sure why the rating is so high though.

Great little chicken and rice restaurant. Can Order at counter for takeout or sit at the few tables they have. The crispy chicken wasn't very crispy, but the roasted chicken was excellent. The sauces with the meals were excellent.

I was craving for ginger chicken but I came across this Thai chicken rice place. The spicy crispy chicken over rice is the bomb, make sure to have some of the spicy sauce too. Love it. I will be coming back… soon 😆

What Da Chick is great! Love coming here. The food is tasty and the people who work here are amazing. I ordered "Da Chick Satay" and the "Spicy Crispy Chick Rice". Both were cooked to perfection and the taste reminded me of Thailand. I can't recommend this place enough!

Flavorful and comforting food, fast and friendly service. I ordered the longan juice and the combo chick rice (poached chicken and fried). Everything was delicious, including the daikon soup that came with the meal and the sauces for the chicken (the ginger sauce wowed me). What more could you want in a restaurant? Great food, at a great price, served by hospitable people in a cozy space. I will be back to try the other menu items soon.

Surprise find. Really tasty juicy chicken. Thought it was a fried chicken place but it's really a southeast Asian style chicken joint with Huinan chicken. Tried the crispy and poached. Sauces are great.

A bit of a chance discovery while stopping at Watertown for some quick shopping. Very friendly staff, delicious chicken and hearty soup, great tea and extremely affordable prices. Very generous portions as well. I'd definitely visit again if I were in the area.

The spicy crispy chicken with what da chick sauce is my favorite. $15 for a chicken combo with rice, 2 sauces and soup is a great deal in Boston. I prefer dining in than takeout so the chicken stays crispy and also their staff is super friendly. I’d skip the tea/coffee next time tho.
