"If you are looking for a quick meal, this little find in Sag Harbor makes homemade Middle Eastern treats, including hummus beetroot on pita; labneh, tomatoes and mint with stuffed baby eggplant; and classic falafel with turnip pickles and tahini.  There are also bowls in which falafel tops various salads, and even a baked version for those who avoid fried food." - Beth Landman

Falafel was really fresh and tasty, and the hummus delicious as well. Had a taste of the frozen yogurt- really refreshing and delish! Pita very fresh; everything seems really authentic, and meal was satisfying.

Wow!!! We are new to the area and stopped in for a last-minute dinner, and we’re so glad we did!! This is one of the coziest and friendliest, places I’ve been to. The food was perfect- flavorful, healthy, and lots of options. When we mentioned our daughter doesn’t love falafel yet (she’s only 5), she made us a Lebanese cheese bread (not on the menu yet, but it should be) which was very thoughtful and kind. I can’t recommend this place enough!! Thanks for an amazing experience, personalized service, and a delicious meal- we will be back many times next season!!

Every time I visit Sag Harbor I make it a point to come and eat at What The Falafel. I’ve had almost everything on their menu and I’ve enjoyed it every time. If you’re going for the first time, I recommend getting their spicy sesame pita with a side of fries. The pita sandwich is flavorful and the fries are the perfect side to complement it.

Nice little family owned shop. Got the dynamite pita and it was awesome - a little bit spicy and had crushed Doritos in it which was a great touch.

Tiny hole in the wall you must try!! Instant Favorite in Sag Harbor. My go to is the Spicy Sesame. The owner and staff are so friendly. The food is out of this world with fresh flavors

So excited to see they’re opening in Sag Harbor! I’ve tried the other locations and it is the best falafel 🥙😍🤤. Very fresh and flavorful!

Yelp
Best hummus and labane and pita of all time and I used to live in Israel! The staff are so friendly and nice and pita sandwiches the best!

Yelp
Too bad-the food was so good but there's no place to wash your hands or actually eat. Most expensive falafel takeout east of the Mississippi? Maybe.

Yelp
Truly superb in every way. This place is the antithesis to the fastfood world we live in. It is run with love and humanity. The lady making the food is so lovely. The food is so fresh and yummy and delicious. You're watching it all made in front of you. What a great falafel shop. WTF is terrific !!!

Yelp
I cannot even begin to highlight how awesome this business is - the amazingly tasty & fresh food is further complemented by staff that is so kind and thoughtful! I placed an order online and the food blew my mind. I called the staff to thank them for a chocolate tahini shake they included & they made my whole week. I will 100% be ordering again, and hopefully stopping in-person to say hi to Melissa for being so great! :)

Yelp
So I found a new love. This take out falafel place really throws down. Been there twice, got the spicy Sesame Falafel on a pita both times 11/10 will be ordering it again. They have three bench seat outside, more for you to wait for your order since there is not much room inside but they be packing in the flavors.

Yelp
The place is so cute and lively and I enjoyed the falafel very much. Highlights are the homemade pita - delicious - and the ratio of ingredients and texture in the classic version were spot on. I do like a little more spice in my falafel and I was hoping to find a hot sauce to go along with it. I'm a Mamouns nut and love my falafel with that kick. Maybe they will make their own hotsauce in the future and sell on site? If so I'd be so stoked for this place! And would add on a star immediately!

Yelp
Yummy. Ordered bowl, pIta sandwiches (including spicy sesame) and they were all really good!

Yelp
Primarily a takeout place little room to sit. The falafel bowl is excellent I ordered lemon tahini sauce not realizing that it actually is part of the bowl and I was charged for it anyway when I should not have been. A falafel bowl in my opinion should also come with complimentary pita as many places do give you a pita with a platter or bowl. Also had baba ganoush, which came with only 1 pita which is not enough to last for the whole serving, it was good but would like a little more flavor. Had a pistachio baklava for dessert which was amazing

Yelp
Best Falafel in the country...amazing brand...fresh food and the best is the homemade pita bread ....

Yelp
I sooo wanted to love this place but the falafel had no flavor and they literally poured the Caesar dressing out of a store bough bottle right in front of me. They have signs that say fresh and house made. I think not.

Yelp
Delicious falafel! Kind staff! It's take out only apart from some limited seating outdoors. I great take away addition to Sag Harbor!

Martha G.

Yelp
Fantastic falafel. Welcome addition to Sag Harbor. Look forward to having my wrap on Main Street
