Whataburger

Ordered at 11:11. Its 11:23. Not very fast food. My ice cream in the car is melting. Service is 75% slow here after 10 pm. Employees can be friendly when they're not trying to put out the fire. Not enough staff to for holiday night shift I am guessing... its 11:25 pm... still waiting... :(

Spent the last 6 days at TCH north NICU. Spent a handful of those nights eating whataburger and feeling the joy of polite employees that were genuinely happy for our son- the food was on point EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. God bless you all 10/10 would recommend- their breakfast slams too!

Fries are clearly old put back in frier to be warm.. but not re salted. The woman that took my order was very kind. But food was not good, drink flat, fries not salted. Very sad as I just moved the the area, learned this is. Not a reliable midnight craving:/

1June2024 This was my second time in 2 yrs visiting a Whataburger and it was the same as when I first visited another location when traveling out of McAllen, Texas. The burgers and cheese melt were good, big(like most food portions in Texas)we had no desire to finish it all. Jazz took our order and she was super fam and welcoming. She made for a great take out order taker. She was patient and informative by explaining to my daughter(her 1st time at a Whataburger)what was on a patty melt and politely inputting what my daughter did not want on her patty melt. Fabulous experience over all.

The manager. If that’s who he was. Wearing a blue shirt today at 11am was extremely rude just not to me, but other customers as well. I do not like the disrespect I recieved today

Been to this location numerous times because it is closest to me. EVERY time our order is wrong. I can deal with a few mistakes but our food is consistently incorrect. Last night my order was not only wrong again, but the portion sizes were ridiculous. Photo shows two of my 9 count wings that were almost pea sized. My partners grilled chicken sandwich has given a chicken filet that was only 1.5” wide and about 3” long! More bun than chicken by a long shot. Manager said this was standard, despite showing her photos on the WB app with the same sandwich sporting a full sized chicken breast. While she was accommodating enough to remake both our meals, I can’t say I will ever return to this location

It has always been my favorite place but the last three times I have been, they have done with my order what they wanted, I don’t know why ask for the ingredients if in the end they are going to put what they want, the girls at the front are more attentive to talk than to attend to customers and deliver the orders.

Was busy running errands and we needed food so I stopped at Whataburger for a naughty fast food treat. It was busy so I ordered two of the exact same meal to keep it easy, #1, no onions, no lettuce, add cheese, Dr. Peppers. The first sign that perhaps things were amiss was when we watched an employee give our drinks to the car ahead of us and then bring them to me. After handing them to me he apologized and offered to get new drinks but I figured I could wipe them down at home, no big deal. Then when he brought the food out he apologized because the bag was melted from coming in contact with a hot surface, he offered to get a new bag and I declined. When my boyfriend pulled a burger out of the bag he said, "did you order bacon cheese Whataburger Juniors?" and showed me a burger that looked nothing like what i ordered. They clearly gave us someone else's order. But whatever, he ate it. But when I finally sat down to eat the other burger is when things REALLY got interesting. My burger was also the size of a Whataburger Junior, the patty was thin like paper and sad looking, there was bacon and cheese but none of the other standard burger toppings, but the truly noteworthy thing about it was the UNGODLY amount of mustard on it. Like, if you ordered a mustard sandwich you wouldn't have expected this much mustard. It was oozing out making a mess before I even touched anything and the moment I touched the burger there was mustard everywhere. It was literally an insane amount of mustard. The person who did this should probably seek help because they just are not a sane or reasonable person. I like mustard and I tried to clean things up and eat it but it was inedible and I threw most of it away. Obviously the guy struggling in the parking lot was having a rough time, but I can only guess that his chaos was a symptom of the horrendous atrocities that were going on in the kitchen... Like I'd almost like to meet the guy who made this burger because I can not imagine how this happened or what he was thinking...

Nothing hits like a honey butter chicken biscuit! So so good and food always comes out hot and fast and so delicious.

Here is a clean little Whataburger. I can't ask for much more from a big chain. They're fast and the staff is nice enough. I don't usually have to interact too much, me and my friends usually already know what it is we want to eat when we stop in. The food is standard Whataburger. It is exactly what you would expect. I love the fries here. And, I am told you should get yourself a shake. Whataburger is my friend's favorite fast food joint for a milkshake. I don't know what it is, but they are the best to them. Lol. I'm also told that the burgers and patty melts are so good. Obviously, I don't think you should drive out of your way to come to this location, but if you are nearby and want some fast food, this Whataburger will not let you down.

Nice staff, efficient and always great food. We missed our Texas taste from vacation and happy to be back and get Value meal #1 with everything in it. No military discount. Accessible. Drive through. No pics the day we ate.

This is the s l o w e s t service I have ever seen. Seriously the manager needs to train this staff.

Horrible service. Just a bunch of lazy kids that don't care. As soon as I pulled up to the drive thru menu they were laughing on the intercom. It was 9 pm and I ordered from the breakfast menu and she replied "we aren't serving breakfast right now." The menu says in big letters "breakfast from 11am-11pm" so I politely just ordered a hamburger for my husband. Then when I pull up the window to receive my order this young girl gives me a huge attitude for no reason. Now I know why there is not much business going on there whenever I pass by. Horrible workers. Definitely not returning. Management needs to do something about these kids. SMH .

They fired the best employee that worked the weekends i forgot what his name was but he had blond hair and he wore a gray whataburger shirt he was the best always made my food fast and was so friendly and professional this place is going down hill!

The service here was TRASH... the cashier clearly did not want to be at work today. Now, when you order "for here" at Whataburger, they give you a little number tag. Normally and what I THOUGHT was protocol here; they'd bring the food to your table, on a tray, then ask if you'd like an assortment of condiments... right ? Nope, not here! She stood at the counter and called out our numbers and our food came in a bag. Call me petty, but stick to the script! Then we got an eye roll at some point while we were sitting and enjoying our food. I'd give the food an overall 3. They over do it with MOUNDS of onions. Next time I know to ask for Light onions. Or just go to another establishment.

I LOVE Whataburger!! We don't have them in Las Vegas. I'm hoping that will change soon with the new ownership. I have been to several locations in and around Texas and Oklahoma. This is my favorite location so far! The store was very clean, not too busy and the food was fantastic! Everything was hot and fresh and tasty! I ordered the Mushroom and Swiss Burger, which was absolutely delicious! The fries were crispy and hot. The spicy ketchup is fantastic! I love that they have that at Whataburger! My friend ordered a #2, which he enjoyed very much. It's also wonderful that they have Diet Dr. Pepper on the fountain drink selection. It's my favorite! Keep up the great work at this location, Whataburger, you have a real gem here!!

This is another place where you go there and tell them I am here for my order and 20 minutes later you have to tell them again. If you don't select ASAP, your order will not be ready when you arrive. Or just go there and order, there is not a differentiator in service.

I absolutely love the quality and taste of the food that is prepared every time I am craving a burger and fries. Texas sized of course! Their sweet tea is the best!

Used to come here a lot not so much anymore, long waits food is ok. Typical whataburger but they sun goofed my order, ordered chick sandwich and got a patty melt. I normally order a patty melt but I wanted to switch it up and I guess they pulled a fast one on me.

While the food is good, remember you will always have a wait. The counter people are hit or miss, the one inhaled this time kept looking out over the people in the dining area and not really listening to me order. Had to repeat myself several times and ask for my drink cup after the food arrived. It was all correctly made but he just seemed way to preoccupied with the lobby people. He made shakes for another guy, when that guy asked for lids the cashier sort of pointed towards them. I don't know if he was focused on a certain customer or group, though no one was being loud or causing issues while we were there maybe earlier they were? At any rate, the food came faster then usual, place was clean but steadily busy. Food was made correctly as I always have requests on my order. Overall it was not a bad visit. The parking and drive thru line especially leave something to he desired at this location so he wary of that.

It's no surprise to anyone that Whataburgers level of service leaves PLENTY to be desired. I have been hosed by this location plenty of times. After working 14-16 hour days, wanting one of the only things that's open before I go home and crash, it's always a crapshoot. I ONLY place my orders online for WB BECAUSE of how poor the speed of service is. When I place an order for pickup at 02:05 and it gives me pick up in store as an option, I assume that the lobby will be open. After attempting to enter the lobby at 02:15 and it being locked (when I have entered the lobby of this location around this time before) - I know have no choice but to wait in the drive thru line of 10+ cars as they work through each order one, by one, by PAINFUL one...even tho my food is sitting there ready for me, getting cold. 25-30 minutes in the drive thru for me to get cold fries and 2 soggy bun burgers, who wouldn't be THRILLED with that - after taking as many steps as possible (and offered) to avoid being in this very situation. If drive thru was the only option available to me on the app, I would have respectfully declined. But here I am, waiting impatiently, because I've foolishly (AGAIN) put all my eggs into WB's sun par basket. Thanks for giving me further ammo to continue to give to friends and family. I also don't expect this review to change anything, as this location (and most) are no strangers to 1 star reviews. But hey - at least it gives me something to do in the 15 minutes I've been waiting and moved 3 car lengths.

Honestly, I've had it with so many fast food places because of their ridiculous poor customer service and food quality. This Whataburger is one of them. I placed a curbside online yesterday but I'm late on my review because I'm just feeling better after getting really sick with the burger 30 minutes after eating it. First of all let me tell you, ever since I started using the curbside they always forgot to add something to my orders. They'll forget either the extra items like ketchup, or the ones paid for like grilled onions and/or cheese. ALWAYS something missing. I know it's my fault not checking on my order before leaving but believe me, one would think you can trust the business's service. Sometimes you had a long day at work you didn't have time to eat lunch, by the time you're picking up your food, you just want to go home and eat! This was the case for me yesterday. Placed my order through the app: -Patty Melt on burger bun -Medium drink (NO ICE) -Medium fries -3 spicy ketchup Patty melt: since the first bite it tasted funny but I was so hungry I kept eating...meat wasn't cooked well, and the bun...of my god the bun tasted rancid so bad!!! I was trying to figure out the taste until halfway eating could point it out. Nevertheless I didn't finish it. Fries: Cold as icebergs Drink: WITH lots of ice Spicy Ketchup: what ketchup??? (Missing in bag) Half burger eaten and 30 minutes later of course I started with the cramps, throwing up and even diarrhea! I obviously got dehydrated and fell asleep on my couch. I kid you not, I visited the bathroom about 6 times until around noon when I started feeling better. SO DONE with this place and any other Whataburger. If anyone knows of other local (I like to support local) burger joints better than these places please share your secret! I personally won't be stopping by this Whataburger nor I recommend it. Now, I'm going to continue resting (still not feeling 100%) and forget about yesterday/last night nightmare. Th-th-that's all, folks!

W went to this Whataburger about a week ago and everything was delicious, We ate inside so maybe that is why. Maybe the owners finally read all of the bad reviews and made some changes. The employees were very nice, the place was clean, and the food came out hot. The only thing that might continue to drive away customers who eat inside is the playing of gangster rap in the middle of the day then there are children and families eating. Save the offensive music for the late night crowd.

I swung by to grab a burger. I've only had Whataburger like once before. Not sure what the big hype is. It's a burger, not too difficult. It was good, and the price was good as well.

The drive-through line here is always long, and I have had to order mix ups within six months. Management is not trained to adequately handle customer complaints issues - I had an unsavory experience this morning with an order, mixup and refund debacle with Aretha the store manager. I was very unimpressed by the lack of efficiency and dedication to service at this location.

Save your money, eating with your dog out of his bowl, would be much better. Ever since our beloved Texas family owned Whataburger was acquired by a Chicago based Corp, it's has been going downhill. No surprise... No longer a Texas favorite. Buh bye Whataburger, it was nice while it lasted.

Donna was amazing! She's a hard-working woman! She made sure everything came out correctly. And overall it was great. Food was great and hot. The inside was very clean.

Always cold fries in drive thru. This was the 2nd time in a row. Just don't get it. Whataburger used to be something Texans bragged about. Not so sure anymore. I will definitely stop patronizing this location.

I only go to Whataburger to get the salads. I was there yesterday while someone was repairing the drink machine and saw MOLD in the ice dispenser shoot. Never get fountain drinks!!! You don't want to know what's going on behind the scenes.

Still horrible. Lines of 15 cars because the workers are clueless. Tried going inside thinking it might be somewhat more efficient and no surprise - waited 8 minutes and no one took the order so I left.

I struggle to find a Whataburger that can actually process an order properly. This location process is my order port correctly. Everything is always right the food is always fresh. I've got to give credit where credit is due. This location is the best of the ones in this area in my humble opinion.

Went through the drive thru, No straws, no napkins, no ketchup. Had to ask for those things. The older lady working the window was extremely rude about it. but I did get one flat burger. I've been a long time fan of whataburger and this is just disappointing

If I could give the no stars right now I literally would we placed an order for for burgers and fries three of the burgers were made exactly the same cheese pickles and mayonnaise only we get them home only one of them are correct my daughter goes back has them fix them she gets home she didn't check it because she thought how can they mess it up twice she gets home it's messed up again so I call him back and tell them I need a double meat cheeseburger with pickles and mayonnaise only I go up there to pick it up they give me a dry plain double meat cheeseburger with all of the condiments in the bag so we could put on it whatever we wanted that was the manager that done that

I don't know how you don't make it until I order it and then it's clearly old and cold. Stale bun, cold hash browns, eggs so overcooked they were inedible and brown. What in the world?!

This was my first time at a Whataburger and it did not disappoint. Not your typical fast food burger and fries taste. Great taste. They being your order to your table with different ketchup flavors to choose from. Place was clean and well kept. The customer service was the best I ever had at a fast food place.

Don't come here. Seriously you'll make a burger faster at home I swear. Drive thru took 40 minutes not lying. Look at the other reviews

Love this location. A friend recommended that I go to this one rather than a different one and she was right! I've been here a few times (during the pandemic in the lobby and the drive thru) and have never had any issues! They're timely and the food is always delicious.

Wow I can not believe this Whataburger! I've been to so many and this was by far the worst! So I drive through, it's not busy, and I ask for a Whataburger jr (#7 meal), and yes I said meal. Ask for a small sprite and a small fry, the guy tells me $7.49... I was a little confused why it was so much, pull to the window, and this kid (who didn't have his name tag) repeats the order and I asked him, "shouldn't it be less since it's a meal and only $4.84+cheese+ranch cup, how is it $7.49? He looks at me and says, "idk man, it just is. I asked him go double check and he just said no that's what it is, he doesn't know why. So I just pay, grab my food, and drive back around to do the math. If you see the pictures, the first pic is what I was charged, the second is what it should have been. I drive around to the window and told the same guy (with no name tag), "hey man, I did the math and you over charged it, it shouldn't have been that much." He straight up looks me dead and the face and says, "ok... so what do you want me to do?". I explained I want my money back because you overcharged me, and he replies with, "well do you want me to just give you something worth the difference (not even knowing how much it was). I said no I want my money back, and he was like well.. idk man, I guess just pull around and come in. So I pull around and stand there for a few minutes until the manager finally walks up, and asks what's the problem? I explained I was overcharged, and he just asks for the receipt and gives me the refund. Doesn't say anything will be done, and probably did that to a ton of other people since he didn't seem to care at all. So unprofessional, will be contacting the GM And corporate tomorrow. So unbelievable!

Can I just say first of all this is a favorite in my area and a go to for a late night meal so please do expect long lines and a bit of a wait. I have to mention Kory and Aaron A they really are awesome! We came in side to eat around 10:45 PM and it wasn't busy at all inside but outside of course the lines were long but we did an dine in order for six people and our wait was not bad at all :) I have to commend the two workers above because they're attitudes were very engaging and just made sure we were happy and had everything we needed :) keep doing awesome guys y'all are both going to go far just in general for your attitudes and just customer service. I'll be back for sure :)

I am not a happy mother today! I have never had an issue with this location until today! Why in the heck would an employee put biscuits and gravy in to a container where my child could have easily split everything on her self! Don't forget that gravy is hot! Normally, when ordered I get a biscuit individually wrapped with gravy in a container that I can open and use as I see fit! I'm soo grateful my daughter did not spill this hot gravy on herself! It is absolutely ridiculous how they packaged this meal this morning! This was a to go order not a sit down order- do better on your packaging!

I'm really struggling with this one. I love me some Whataburger. However, I'm less than impressed with this particular location. Last time I ordered food here it was a 90 minute wait and none of the order was correct. The manager started yelling at me when I finally got them on the phone and I had to call Corporate to get a refund. So after waiting a good 2 months I try again. This time they at least brought food out mostly on time. Only issue is none of the sides were there and no one will answer the phone to try to resolve. Whatadisappointment!

Saw this place everywhere during our trip to Austin and my boyfriend and I were determined to try it before heading back to California. On our last night in Austin, we ventured out to have some late night eats here. I do not know how other locations are, but if they are like this location, chances are, I will pass, unless there is nothing else to next time. The good about this place, they are open 24/7, you can get food at anytime!! This particular location was a disaster! It was so messy!! I do not know if it was just the workers who did not clean... although it was quite busy when we came, or the mass groups of teenagers coming and going that made the messes everywhere!! There was soda spills all over the floors, and not just where the soda machines are, but like from the tables and back, there were straw wrappers thrown on the ground, paper on the ground... it was just sooo messy!!... so I think it is more of the messy teenagers that lack the respect to keep places clean for others. I'm glad I did not have to use the bathroom while here! We ordered a lot of food when we came here... since we were doing a late night after friends wedding group food run. Food came out really fast and the cashier got all the orders in as they were supposed to be. I'm glad that all the meals were bagged in separate bags. That made it much easier to give each person their food orders. Despite ordering almost 10 meals, our food came out really fast. Back at the hotel ready to try this burger... it was just okay. The meat itself seemed dry and the burger itself lacked flavor. It was just an "okay" burger. I did not try the fries, as I ordered onion rings instead with mine and I liked the onion rings. For late night cheap eats, at about $7 a meal, it does the job, but I would not go out of my way to get Whataburger. However, I will be willing to give another location another try next time I go to Texas...

I'm a Texan, but living out of state for military life. We HAVE to come here. We were so excited to FINALLY get in before we leave town! We had a large group and an obnoxious order. The cashier, Nathaniel, was so friendly and patient with us (and my older parents who had a hard time reading the menu). The manager, Mr. De La Riva was very nice and accommodating. Thank you for making sure our NECESSARY Whataburger stop was awesome!!!! Thanks so much!

Of all Whataburgers this one is pretty bad. Can't really think of any positives for this location, management sucks, rarely gets orders right, overall an embarrassment to the Whataburger franchise. By the way don't bother with curbside, just go in otherwise you will never get your food.

They f****** suck.... I ordered one #2 with ONLY LETTUCE & CHEESE. Instead they gave me 11 pickles with mayo..... which they are only supposed to give 4. I used to work @ a whataburger.... they gave me 11 pickles.. WTF??? Wish I could give no stars.....

If you're in a hurry you have to avoid this location . Slow, slower,and slowest work here . They mixed up orders repeatedly . Same thing twice so I'm done coming here .

Stacie at this location is one of the nicest people I have ever met. She went above and beyond to give good service to everyone in the room and she really brightened my morning.

Horrible service and order is 9 times out of 10 wrong. I bring tons of business, I should say brought a lot of business and these guys do a shitty job at preparing the order(s) correctly. Furious that it continues to happen over and over again. Plain and dry with cheese only should be a no brainer. Yet for some reason it is at this location. I will never be back again, I will drive miles elsewhere, where I can get my order done correctly. Manager said his name was Clifford, no customer service skills whatsoever, no acceptance of error on his part. Lost a loyal customer. So over this location.

I've been here dozens of times. The drive through is literally always backed up because they're slow. They get my order right about 80% of the time (wrong size or wrong drink 20% of the time). The occasional wrong order is pretty typical of most fast food places and I accept the slower than average drive through service. But last night I got some nasty food poisoning from this place.. and my order was also wrong. This place has issues.

Very poor customer service. I ordered at the drive tru. Repeated my order 3 times. When I got to the window to get my order it was it course wrong. The cashier looked lost.

I absolutely love Whataburger!! After a long day of school, I was happy to get something to eat on my way home. I had decided to go in in hopes of making it quicker. When I popped in I was greeted by the manager Tiffiny. Horrible customer service and manners! And as I waited for my food, she was in the back yelling at employees! She didn't even get my order right! I was so disappointed in Whataburger today.

BURGER REVIEW: So, I had the pleasure of introducing my mom to Whataburger. They don't seem to have them in Richmond VA, while they're ubiquitous in Texas. I opted for the Chophouse Cheddar Burger, and it delivered. This, once again, falls under the category of "I hope my cardiologist doesn't read this"--A blissful double patty topped with grilled onions, bacon, and a steak sauce (I can't recall if they advertised that it's A-1 or not, but it's tasty!) Great flavor, and juicy--not dried out, but not greasy, either. (OK, maybe a hint of the GOOD grease) I swear, I really am trying to eat a more heart-healthy diet. Scout's honor. But on those indulgence days, I could go for one of these in a second!

Man almost every time i been here in the last two weeks, which is several unfortunately, from the moment i order until i get to the window is AT LEAST 15 min. This location has gone downhill in the last two months. The employees used to be up beat and super friendly and smiling with positive energy. This guy just now looked mad as hell, didn't say anything. I was super friendly and polite, thank you sir, i appreciate you sir, have a good night. Didn't say a damn word. Common courtesy and common sense is something they don't have here anymore. Management needs major help here. Because the fast friendly crew i used to get, are all gone. Not one of them i've seen recently. So management you guys are CLEARLY doing something wrong. I used to go to macdonalds but their service was so horrible it was a breathe of fresh air. Now its just like that horrible slow macdonalds. Only reason i come back is the food is crack and not much else open late. Customer service is huge. Stop hiring non personable bums.

Whataburger is usually slow but this one takes the cake. How is it possible to take more than 20 minutes for a drive thru when there are like 3 cars. Do yourself a favor and drive to any of the other close by ones to get faster service.
