Even though it was a warm evening, the breeze made it pleasant to watch a ball game. Reasonable prices in a well constructed stadium. We went on a night with food promotions which were very budget friendly. Fun promotions. It was a great night.

Hey Batter batter..... SsWwingG!! Up from SPI 2hr drive, completely different Texas. This ball field is fantastic. Clean, well organized, plenty of food and drink options at a very reasonable price! Every single employee and volunteer was extremely polite and professional. The facilities are well-maintained and easy to navigate. The field is ADA-compliant as well. Will come back for sure. My only complaint is, I didn't hear one Bell from ACDC Hells Bells. Really??? Plotted. Scouts Out..

Great time with the guys. We sat in the whataburger section and the service was top notch. We are “hooked”! Kudos to such a family friendly environment.

Fun ballpark to see a game. Casual. All seats are great. Plenty of food and drink options. Very nice, cool breeze comes off the water.

Great place to bring the family. We have been to multi Hooks game and most recently went to watch the Grinch on the field with the kids.

Google
Very nice field. Had a play area beyond the outfield for kids. There was a grass area out past center field and a cool swimming pool area in right. We saw an exposition game that was fun. Very cool views of the bridges and boats going by.

Google
A really nice minor league baseball field. There’s a paid parking lot located directly across the street, and a good variety of places to eat and drink inside. There’s also a merchandise store, to buy some Hooks apparel. I had a great time seeing the Hooks, sadly, lose here.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised to find that this stadium is very clean and well taken care of. It is small and not very modern but the cleanseliness is much appreciated. There are several food stalls (including Whataburger and a small bbq shop. They are all somewhat decently priced. Tickets for baseball games are also at a good price (usually $10 and up). Parking is $5. Not a lot of shaded seats unless you sit in the middle in the far back rows.

Yelp
Awesome field and staff. Great location. I like the CITGO sign in right field, as it evokes Fenway memories. The only disappointment here is the lady that sold me my ticket. I appreciate the fact that she put me in the section behind home plate, but she sold a SINGLE a seat in the middle of the row. Both ends of the row were blocked off with other patrons, meaning I was going to have to bumble my way through other fans just to get to me seat & out again. Fortunately, they have a ticket exchange guy on the concourse, and he helped me out. The Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage was tasty, with chili & cheese, but I was not expecting it to come on a tortilla - not that there's anything wrong with that. I also agree with the other commenter that the main souvenir shop should be on the concourse, not hidden downstairs behind a stairwell.

Yelp
Great atmosphere good food and good brews. Had plenty options when it comes to food and drinks, nice merch as well. Game itself was a close one went into extra innings. Hard to beat that view in a minor league stadium.

Yelp
I've covered baseball professionally from press boxes, and I've been to plenty of stadiums for work and play. This one is a good one, but there are areas for improvement. First, if I lived here, I'd be a Hooks season ticket holder. Like many other minor and independent league stadiums, there's really not a bad seat in the house. Parking is great, and the concourse level is easy peasy when it comes to getting around. Employees were friendly, and the bathrooms were clean. The seats, albeit close together, don't feel crammed. Most importantly, the quality of baseball here is really good, as the Hooks are AA MiLB (which means some will likely be called up to the Bigs before the season ends). But... The concessions here are among the worst I've experienced in a few years. I get that the ballpark has a captive audience and that hot dogs have a 5,000% markup. However, when I buy a dog before the first pitch and it looks like something from Jack Links beef jerky company, that's a problem (see my pic). Food choices here are relatively few compared with other ballparks of similar size, and the only pop-up food/snack/booze stands were along the right field concourse area. Finally, Pepsi seems to be the official soft drink of this stadium, and that's too bad. There's a reason Pepsi twice went bankrupt! There's a reason that people try to order Coke at Taco Bell only to opt for water when the attendant asks "Is Pepsi OK?" There's a reason that Pepsi was the soda of choice during the Great Depression ... because it was cheap swill! For the love of God, bring in a different soda vendor -- even if it's Shasta or the HEB store brand! But I digress.... All joking aside, the concession operations are only as good as the person in charge, and that person must've been playing Candy Crush while the counter folks were selling stale popcorn and wrinkly hot dogs. It should also be mentioned that this is the only stadium I have ever been to (and that includes short season rookie leagues) at which the main souvenir shop was located somewhere other than the bowl. Apparently, it's located at the street level, but I never saw it. (That could be my own fault. Still, I probably would've spent more money had the main shop been on the concourse level.) The view here is really good. It'll be interesting to see it in a few years when the original harbor bridged is razed. On another positive note, I believe this is the only stadium in which a Whataburger operates. (And I think they sell Coca Cola products.) I only wish Whataburger sold hot dogs here. ;-)

Yelp
The gates opened up at 5:30pm for the jerseys! We arrived at 5pm to make sure we got a shirt! So happy we did. Even though the hooks lost, we had a blast at the game. There was so much interaction with the mascots and even some of the players. I love how friendly the teams are to give balls to the kids. Utilizing the sEATz app is a game changer! Especially when you are into the game and not wanting to get up. I had a great time with my family and enjoyed all the fun things the field had to offer. My Whataburger meal was delicious and had a great experience

Yelp
Whataburger Field is a great place to take in a minor league baseball game in Corpus Christi. The seats are great and the views are good as well. The wind coming into the stadium made the experience enjoyable.

Yelp
It has been a few years since I have visited this ballpark and excited to see any new enhancements. On the way I ran into road construction and had to make some quick decisions while driving in the highway and ended up crossing the Harbor Bridge. I had to turn around and go back on the bridge where I saw an exit to the stadium. Luckily it was early and easily found a parking spot. From here I noticed a popular hangout, Brewster Street Ice House, where it looked packed, but decided to enter the ballpark. With our Astros clear bag in hand we took some photos of the outside in front of a huge baseball player statue. I received a huge Texas sized greeting when I entered and received a free ball cap with a pink Hooks logo on it. Corpus Christi Hooks were playing against the Springfield Cardinals and it was "Pink at the Park Black FauxBack Cap" night, and the home players wore pink jerseys too. My goal was to explore the whole ballpark. I saw some improvements from the last time like craft beer bars, outfield vip seating, and new food choices. Obviously they have a Whataburger serving burgers but found some other choices. The team store - Hook, Line & Sinker - is located on the first base side down stairs to the ground level. They had done great merchandise including Astros gear and purchased some items. Back to the concourse you have a great view of the Harbor Bridge and a waterpark beyond the outfield. The ballpark has suites over the field level seats, green berm and two rows of rocking chairs. They also have two mascots walking around so parents can photos of their kids with them, the Hooks' ballpark girls walking around, corporate sponsors handing out swag, and local raffles. I decided to a hot dog and beer. My seats were behind 3rd base dugout surrounded by season ticket holders who seemed to come for every game. I saw one little old lady with a score sheet of the action. Since this stadium is located next to the ship channel a huge ship floated by. The kids around me were excited to see it. When the sun went down the Harbor Bridge lit up at night with illuminating LED lights. The game went well for the Hooks. Overall a very family friendly atmosphere with lots to do along with the staff to make you feel welcomed.

Yelp
Small home town field with a big heart. I can truly feel the love and support these people have to give for their minor league team called The Hooks! Everyone one was nice and respectful of their opponents. Glad we came and watched some Corpus Christi Baseball Game. They give out free Laredo breakfast taco coupon if The Hooks struck out enough to spell LAREDO TACO. $5 parking fee - Fair price and not far of a walk. $14 per person burn/grass area. I think it's normally $8 to $10 per person when there's no one performing/concert after the game. Best part of it all! There's actually a kids area. Free Bounce house, free playground, rock climbing for $2 and trampoline jump. Let's play ball!

Yelp
Whatagreatfield. Whataburger sponsors many special fan events. It's the home of the Corpus Christy Hooks, a double A affiliate of the Houston Astros. It's located on Corpus Christy Bay and faces East so even on a hot summer day, you can enjoy a cool breeze off the water. And when the game is a little slow, there are lots of interesting things to see. There are cars passing by on the sky bridge, ships heading into port and the USS Lexington parked in the bay. If you're hungry and thirsty there are plenty of vendor booths including Whataburger. My only knock is $7.75-$9.75 beer. Probably a national crisis so I'll just drink soda.

Yelp
Such a fun little ballpark. It's a beautiful facility with fantastic views of the Corpus bridge out in right field. The whataburger concession stand is a great bonus too. They may be a double A park but there is definitely high energy in this place that can be hard to come by in minor league games. I thoroughly enjoy every time I've been here.

Yelp
Was on vacation close to Corpus and had to take in a Hooks game. I mean, Whataburger IN a ballpark? Haha, plus I love baseball. Tix were a good price and they were still distancing seats, which was nice since the other minor league game I went to 2 weeks ago was def NOT. The field is nice and the view of the bridge is a plus. The Hooks were the Honey Buttered Chix Biscuits that night and are the Raspas at various times throughout the season also. The Raspas jersey was on sale and is a lot like a soccer jersey so we bought one of those to wear to baseball and soccer games. The Whataburger had a smaller selection of food but it was still hot, fresh, and tasty. The crowd was into the game and we had a lot of fun. Would def go to a game there again if in the area.

Yelp
Great place to catch a game. They do offer several different food choices, but getting a Whataburger, at Whataburger Field, is a must. They do offer several different beers as well. Single game tickets are very reasonable, and they offer ticket packages, as well as season tickets. Parking is affordable. The outfield view from behind the plate is awesome. You can see the Harbor Bridge out towards first base, but it will be gone in a year or two, and the New Harbor Bridge will be coming in on the third base side. I remember during one game that I was at, a ship came cruising by. That was so cool as it looked like it was right behind the outfield fence. So whether you're with family, a date, a friend, or by yourself, it's great entertainment for sure. That's why I try to catch a game, during the Hooks season, every time I'm in Corpus Christi checking up on our Harbor Bridge project. Go Hooks !! Go Express !! Go Astros !!

Yelp
Had fun at the dia de los muertos themed game. There was face painting and raffles. I'm not big on sports and truth be told I like ice hockey much more but it's still a good place to go for families or just with friends. There is a good variety of food and lots of souvenirs.
