Google
Pretty decent first experience with Whataburger. Fries were crispy and the pie was pretty good. The burger was very decent, but nothing particularly good in any way. Seating at this particular location was awkward. I ended up standing next to a trash can to eat.

Google
Poorly laid out so it it not clear where to line up to order. While waiting we saw customers over and over unclear whether the many people waiting for their order were actually in line to place an order. Then they were so disorganized that the kitchen staff couldn't keep up, and they closed the accordion door to block off the entry this was at 12:19 in the afternoon on a Sunday.

Google
Just no. Sloppy overcooked burger with zero flavor. I heard great things about this restaurant chain and was excited to stop in. I would not return.

Google
Super bummed I had to wait almost a half hour to not get my burger…. I used to live in Tx so was super excited to get a taste of home and didn’t get one. I got ketchup waiting for my food that sadly is likely getting soggy and wondering when it was going to be enjoyed… alas my poor little beefy friend… my stomach sits empty and my heart broken. 🥹 won’t be stopping here to waste money again. I’ll just go to the lounge. At least I’ll get fed for sure.

Google
Food is decent. Orsers are pretty slow coming out. A lot of things needed to be cleaned or restocked. Prices on screen are different than what rings up. They refunded me, but you should check your receipt.

Google
Got this a while ago during our international flight transit. It honestly did not leave a strong impression, but it was not too bad either. The onion rings were hot and great though!

I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with no mayo, what I got what a grilled chicken sandwich with mayo. I took it back to the lady taking orders and said that it wasn’t my sandwich, she said she would take care of it, a guy came out from the kitchen told me that’s what I ordered, I said it isn’t that why I brought it back. He when back with attitude and made my sandwich. When I got back to my gate I tried to eat it and took the pictures that I posted. It (chicken) was paper thin and was almost had a burnt taste. I will never eat at that location again. ( I’m there about 6 times a month)

Yelp
We were hungry during our layover and so we decided to give Whataburger a try. My friends who lived in Texas loves this place. We tried it once when we visited a long time ago. So, we went to remind us what the fuss was about. When we got there, we ordered our food from the kiosk. Since we were there for breakfast, their breakfast board at their ordering counter was quickly rotating and so we couldn't see the breakfast menu well. It was early to order at their kiosk. So that is a plus. Better than the McDonald's kiosk, if you asked me. We ordered the breakfast bowl with bacon. It came with a good amount of bacon, two biscuits, gravy, a small piece of hash brown and scrambled eggs. After you order and pay, you have to walk to the other side of the restaurant to get your food. We had Shannon call out the order numbers and she was super loud and clear. Which I appreciated. My husband commented that she was very nice when interacting with him as well. Thank you, Shannon! Shoot out to you! Their breakfast was a pretty good size to me. We made it a meal so it came with a medium drink ( we got sweet tea) and you get a choice of hash brown or fries. We chose the fries. Overall, everything was yummy for fast food. And it fed the both of us. We will be returning to try their burgers again if where in the neighborhood.

Yelp
First time having Whataburger and it was when we're just leaving Dallas. Maybe the chains in the city is a lot better, but this is probably going to be the only time I'll have Whataburger, unless I somehow find myself back in Dallas. First impressions are everything and I think I rather go to a McDonalds or Burger King instead. Got the #1 Whataburger and it was fine. Nothing really special.

Yelp
As a west coast resident I wanted to know this brouhaha about Whataburger. While I was in the airport, that's the closest I'll probably get to try this place, I knew I had to try it. The format of ordering at this location went by very quickly. The place is small so I took it to my gate. The staff is extremely friendly and is there to help you. For around 12 dollars I was able to get a full meal. The drink size was huge and it was a medium. Got a classic burger and some fries just to judge the basics. The burger was good and most. The meat patty very well seasoned. My fault for adding the ketchup and mayo, it was a bit much. The fries were more on the thinner side but seasoned with salt, substantially but overdoing it.

Yelp
Line was quick and the wait wasn't long. The burger was everything you'd want with the crispy edges This one is located in concourse E and since we had time we came from another concourse. 100% worth it.

Yelp
I was here at DFW in terminal D around lunchtime for my connecting flight home. I just had to stop here for lunch. When in Rome, right? Per the usual with most places these days, I skipped the line and placed my order using one of the ordering kiosks. The pickup location was on the other end of the restaurant. I ordered a Bacon & Cheese Whataburger and made it a Whatameal. For my drink, I got their orange juice as a healthier option to soda. Also it was only slightly more than the cost of a bottle of water. For my fries, I got some spicy ketchup, one of the best condiments out there for fries!

Tippy P.

Yelp
Every time I'm flying out of DFW at gate D, I always grab a burger at Whataburger. My usual is the burger combo with large onion rings. There's a kiosk set up to place your order if there's a long line. After placing an order, walk to the end of the restaurant where pick up window is located. The restaurant is small, really design as a togo rather than dining in. There's a few tables and booths. I usually take my food and eat at the gate while waiting for my plane to arrive.

Yelp
It's airport food. What you expect? A 5 star rating? But really, what makes this a 2 star is not the food quality. (Make no mistake about it though, it's 3 stars at best). But it's the staff. Yikes. It was uncomfortable there. They were rude and everyone could hear them arguing amongst themselves in the back. None of the tables were wiped clean so I decided to take mine to go. It's not the greatest of quality of food and it's super overpriced. By a lot. So all of that is to say, if this is your only time to be in Texas then sure, support regional restaurants and eat here! Otherwise there's an Applebees next door where you'll probably get more bang for your buck and maybe... just maybe... a decent dining experience (and a clean place to sit).

Yelp
What a lovely place. Sike... probably the worst customer service ever. After ordering a $12 meal I go to fill up my reusable water container, to be told that I have to buy a cup. Water is a human right. Oh, then to be called a dick by the same employee. Grow up your stuff isn't that good to be charging for water lol

Ameer H.

Yelp
Fancy ketchup is just regular ketchup lol. Service was quick and helpful. Overall a good experience for my first time try whataburger. Fries were not seasoned or fresh though.

Mina L.

Yelp
Such poor service, I got fries that was barley cooked right, my chicken sandwich had sauce all over it, when I requested on the side. Stood in line for 20 minutes, just to get a refund.

Toni P.

Yelp
Went to Whataburger Dallas Terminal for a quick bite. The Cashier was very pleasant even she looks tired but still smiling. We got our orders within few minutes. The sandwiches are good but the fries are cold and soggy. I went to the counter and ask if they can give us some fresh fries, the lady have a bit of attitude and told the in charge if we're asking for new fries. No apologies for serving us cold fries and the staff at prep area have no customer service. The restaurant is clean but the staff can check the tables instead of just talking to each other. Conveniently located at the terminal and it's near the Skyway.

Yelp
It's sad but I only get Whataburger at this airport. It's crazy over priced. I think I paid $8 for a simple cheeseburger with pickles but it's a really good fast food burger. It's not greasy and not too big or too thin. It's the perfect FF burger!

Sadie P.

Yelp
There wasn't anything really bad about this place, it just wasn't amazing. We went to the one in the Dallas airport on a layover and wanted to try this famous spot. I ordered a regular burger combo and I was good, but I found that the mustard on the burger really took away any other flavor to be found. The fries reminded me of McDonald's but were slightly better. And the "medium" drink was actually the size of my head. The service was good, we god our food within maybe 5-6 minutes of ordering and it was nice and hot, we also loved the sauce bar with buckets of sauce with all different spices, it was a lot of fun. The seating area was relatively clean and I don't really have any complaints about my time there. Overall it wasn't the best fast food I've had, but if you're close to one and haven't tried it it's worth a go.

Jolanta M.

Yelp
Whataburger for the win!!!! The service is to expected for airport travels. An 2 hour layover is plenty enough time to grab a bit to eat here before getting to your gate. Hot & fresh, made to order.

Yelp
While flying through DFW we had just over an hour to kill and went to the Centurion lounge, but after waiting in line about 5 minutes and noticing that both elevators that took you to the lounge upstairs were broken, we turned around, saw Whataburger and decided to give them a try instead. This particular Whataburger looks pretty new. The lady taking orders was very friendly and helpful and patient. They were somewhat busy, but we were able to get through the line and place our order in decent time. The food took quite a while to be made and some of it wasn't too hot, more like just warm when it came out, but it all tasted great! And they have lots of fun sauces for fries and such to dip into. I'm hoping the issues we experienced were just growing pains from this potentially new location and they work through them soon. I'll definitely return.

Yelp
A big sloppy mess! The price of a combo is $3 more than a normal off airport site Whattaburger.

Bruce D.

Yelp
The food was good, it was a decent price, but it did take a little while to get my order.

Osamah H.

Yelp
Great service!! Super excited to try out Whataburger when on my layover in Dallas! DeAries recommended us some of his (custom) personal favorites. We tried the patty melt w/ a brioche bun and #1 combo. Fire!!!

Yelp
Friendly service: employees at the front were very welcoming and happy. They ran out of ketchup (regular and spicy) and they came out to refill it immediately. The prep time wasn't the fastest, but they were moving. Need to come back to try the breakfast since the menu looked good! I got a jr burger meal with an upgrade to a large onion rings (they are battered not breaded yay!) And for my drink I got a chocolate milk (could've upgraded to a shake or malt for Taylor but he was full from bbq). Also got a small fries since I wanted to try them as well as a honey butter sauce cup and honey mustard. Haven't tried the sauces yet since they are HUGE and I want to make sure to use them all up! I was able to add grilled onions to the burger for free and it really added to the flavor! No pickles of course and added mayo. The burger was good. Not amazing but not bad. Same for the fries and onion rings. Would I go back next time I'm in Texas? Maybe if it's on my way.

Yelp
Nice to see a new Whataburger in Terminal D at DFW! (There's been one in Terminal E for a while, but it's quite far out of the way unless your flight happens to be right near there). I'm a fan of both In-N-Out and Whataburger, but since there are no Whataburgers in California I like to hit one up whenever I'm in Texas. The food (#1 combo, Whataburger + fries + soda) was hot and fresh, just as expected. The nice young man at the counter provided friendly service. Since the food is cooked to order, it'll take about 10 minutes to come out. The line was short in mid-afternoon when I visited, but when I passed by later in the evening it was much more crowded. Overall, much better than the typical airport food experience.

Eric L.

Yelp
You would think you couldn't do much to mess up a fast food place at an airport. You would be wrong. It started with the order. There were 8 people in front of me and it took at least 20 minutes to place my order. There were extra people wandering around behind the cashier, but none of them opened another spot, so we had to wait for one person who was extremely slow. The soda machine was clearly broken. There was no carbonation so every drink I tasted so nasty I couldn't drink it. I also don't think they have anyone to clean the tables either. The burger was OK so I'll give them 1 star for that.

Fernando M.

Yelp
I can't be for sure but I am pretty sure I just got food poisoning from this place. Stuck at DFW during layover and thought I would try this place. It was okay nothing special. I was feeling good before, 30-60 mins later, I am running to bathroom and have chills. I would not go here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Eileen H.

Yelp
This is the cleanest I've ever seen, with the kindest most friendly staff. Linda made sure everyone felt welcome.

Ron F.

Yelp
I'm a lifelong WhataBurger fanatic. This one is the absolute worst and filthiest I've ever been to. Order was wrong, prices were brutally high and the employees were the rudest I've ever come across. Give up and scuttle this one, WhataBurger...or throw a McDonalds sign over the door. Unbelievable.

john s.

Yelp
Disgusting, even for an airport restaurant. The tomatoes were mushy. The lettuce had allot going on . . . most of it was the white\yellow core of iceberg lettuce and it had dark green slimy pieces. Ordered cheese, but did not get cheese. Meat patty was dry. Sounded like the staff was having a party in the kitchen as the order was made. Should change the name, to WhataMistake.

Barney K.

Yelp
There was two people in line in front of me and it took 31 minutes to receive my food. The employees move at a snails pace and have zero ambition or drive. Absolutely the worst experience ever with this franchise. Spend your money elsewhere

Xavier Z.

Yelp
I won't lie. The experience had a rocky start. A couple friends and I tried to use whataburger coupons that we had. The cashier was quick to tell us that they didn't accept the coupons. We asked if she could possibly ask someone to confirm if that was true. She told us no. We then asked another employee named Kyle. Kyle let us know that he wasn't sure, however he was quick to run to the back and ask someone. He was very kind and attentive as well. After confirming for us that we WERE able to use the coupons, he went to grab a manager to fix our orders so that we were refunded a partial amount. Even after the problem was solved, Kyle went above and beyond to make sure that we were okay and that our food came out amazing, fresh, and fast. On top of this he was cleaning up any trash around the area. He was truly hustling and doing as much as he could. He made my day.
