Why are fast food workers so mad all the time? I get it — it’s probably not your dream job. But you’re dealing with hungry people who just want a decent experience before eating. The burger? Solid. No fries — too risky for me. Please don’t skimp on napkins, and maybe train order takers to be a little nicer. Make Whataburger great again.

I don't know what has happened to this restaurant. I've been going to it for 30 years and it never really recovered since covid. I have witnessed robberies and car break-ins in the parking lot at noon. The bathrooms are filthy. It operates more like something you would see in a third world country. Every once in awhile I'll get something that tastes like it supposed to. But overall this location should be avoided. I love how the employee break table is front and center for everyone to see where all the employees can store things like outside food, backpacks. And whatever it is they're eating also how to laugh at my breakfast burrito. When you order a potato bacon or sausage egg and cheese Taquito it's supposed to be chopped up on The Griddle placed into the the tortilla. And then rolled up. This lazy cook just put a whole hash brown on top of some eggs and rolled it up. So lame. The staff is too lazy to even Assemble something as simple as a taco. Oh yeah my strawberry shake had way too much strawberry in it. The color was so dark it was practically red. I guess I think the more syrup in the shake the better. These employees need some training. The store needs a complete overhaul. And please use bleach in the bathrooms you can smell the damn thing when you walk in the front door

The food is basic, just like any other Whataburger, but if you’re in a hurry or if you don’t mind waiting 30 minutes to get your food because of the lack of urgency at this establishment then go to it. Three times I have been there and had to wait close to 30 minutes through the drive-through breakfast or lunch. It doesn’t matter. The owner Martin Moreno needs to do better.

Literally the worst Whataburger of all time. I’ve lived in this area for years and have always had subpar experiences and dealt with rude staff. The employees here have the worst attitudes in town and treat customers like garbage. Today I bought a burger and they FORGOT THE DAMN PATTY. I also ordered a strawberry malt and I got a half full vanilla shake. 5 minute wait at the order box and eventually I got a “what?”. Is no one there to hold these people accountable? Please see photo of the “burger”. Absolute garbage.

First, I’ll like to state that I’m a big fan of Whataburger. I have been for a very long time. However, despite this restaurant being so close to my home, I will not come back. I’ve had less-than-stellar service and messed up orders many times here, but I usually just let it go so I can enjoy my meal. Today was the last straw. I had a quick break between meetings to grab some lunch, so I got in my car and went to the drive-through. There was an employee sitting on the curb near the order screen, but she didn’t acknowledge me or greet me when I drove by with my window down, so I proceeded to the menu board to order. Then I hear, in a rude, angry voice, “SIR! You have to order through me!” I said, “Ok, but can I at least look at the menu?”…I wanted to see what was currently on the All-Time Favorites. She, again very rudely responded, “I have a menu right here,” pointing to a paper menu in her apron pocket. I asked, “How was I supposed to know that?” This whole time, she never got up from sitting on the curb. She didn’t approach me, even though I was less than 10 feet away from her. No effort at all. I said, “Forget it…I’ll take my business somewhere else.” I left, went to another burger drive-through, was treated like a customer, and gave them the money that should have gone to Whataburger. You’ve lost a loyal customer. Do better.

Do NOT come here expecting "fast" food. It took them nearly an hour to get a burger and fries. Never experienced anything like that before. Save your time and go to McD's for the same quality food.

We had worst.food here than any Whataburger ever visited. Was burned black on every bun, food tossed and mixed in bags, food missing from several people food. Staff put on hold then disconnect, never got response from email team. Want refund.

Unfortunately this Whataburger has me torn. From the side of service, I've never seen nicer workers at a Whataburger than at this one. However every time I stop at this Whataburger, my order takes an unusually long time to be prepared.

Don't ever go here if you're in a hurry. They have no concept of fast food. It took 20 minutes to get my breakfast combo. I had plenty of time to stop in to get a to go order and make a conference call. Ended up logging in late to the call. Will never go back unless I have an hour or more to waste. Food was good though so I'm disappointed I'm going to have to avoid this location.

When ever in Texas, there are two must haves. Whataburger and Mesquite smoked beef brisket. I always look forward to coming home to Texas and sinking my teeth into a delicious Whataburger hamburger. It just brings back a flood of memories of fun and great food. Hard to find any comparison to the unique taste of a Whataburger. Whataburger, Whataburger bigger better burger Whataburger!!

I am a loyal customer but have had nothing but problems in the last year. The restaurant near me ALWAYS manages to mess up my order. Well I ordered almost 40.00 worth of food and NEVER got it. They delivered it to someone else. Delivery driver would not pick up phone. Restaurant didn't know how to reach driver. Called whataburger and they have to send my complaint to upper management to get my refund. So I have no food, out of the money I spent and lost points. I told them you had no issue taking the money right away but it takes an act of congress to get my money back. Super disappointed. The restaurant in Kemah, TX can't get it right and neither can corporate. Sad day- and yes I am still hungry. Next step is me calling my back and telling them that the charge was fraud. They didn't deliver what I ordered so that to me is fraud.

Never thought I would say this but surprisingly good fast food. I normally don't like fast food, but I was impressed by the quality and quantity here. We ordered the honey BBQ chicken strips special and the famous patty melt combo meal with a banana pudding shake and onion rings and fries. The patty melt was my favorite because the sauce was good with the double beef patty, melted cheese and onions. Simple and delicious. I had great customer service as this was my first visit and not sure what to order, but the staff was very helpful. The ambiance is definitely casual on a budget, but sometimes that's exactly what we need on the go.

I go to work early. By 430am I am on the road. The Whataburger at 59 and Shepherd is right along my way and is open 24 hours. This is an advantage because Starbucks in the area all open at 5am. Today will be the last day I give this Whataburger any of my business. Whether it is the ambiance of homeless hassling people in the drive thru, the fact they almost never have coffee (occasionally they have some that is almost cold), provide partial or incorrect orders every single time or serve food that has been sitting for hours, this place is a train wreck. The workers in fast food tend to do what they are allowed to. Typically that will be the minimum. Rarely is it a problem they are trying too hard. The issue for this store is unbelievably bad shift management. The location should close at 10pm and open at 5am, like other places in the area. This would be best for everyone because the owners are not interested in serving quality food.

Whataburger offers a free senior coffee to I believe 55-year-old and up. This is always a selling point for me when I'm looking for a quick breakfast out. I enjoy the jalapeno and cheddar biscuits with sausage egg and cheese. However, this morning, it appears the sandwich is a bit smaller than normal and not as crisp on the biscuit portion. The coffee, although free, is awful. This is the second time I've come and experienced this awful coffee.

AVOID UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. I am 34 weeks pregnant and was craving whataburger. Once I arrived, I placed my order. At the window, I was offered a chocolate shake which I thought was so kind. However, turns out the shake machine was down so I was offered someone else's watery shake. On top of that, I was asked to wait for my order with 4 other cars. It was over twenty minutes until we all received our orders. Mind you, all I ordered was chicken strips. When the chicken strips arrived, they were BURNT. I guess they're hiring anybody.

Coming from California, I had to try one of the most talked about competition to In-n-Out Burgers. The street around this store was under construction so it was a little of a mess. Once inside my order was quickly taken by a helpful person. I was personally handed my Dr. Pepper milkshake while waiting for my Whataburger. Surprised by this service. 4 stars. The small shake seemed like a large to me (California perspective?). Shake was thick and rich but could not really taste the Dr Pepper. 3 stars. My burger came next bit I decided to stay and eat in. I found a clean table in the corner and proceeded to unwrap. Overall the burger was bigger than In-n-Out's but also cost more. Inside were lettuce, tomatoes, onions and lots of pickles with mustard. It was a good tasting burger but won't surpass In-N-Out's mainly due to their sauce as it was seemed to better complement the patty versus just the mustard. 4 stars. Overall will likely eat one again next time I am in Texas.

This was my first time trying Whataburger sober. SPECIFIC: The drive-through queue didn't move super slow but it didn't move particularly quickly either. They messed up some of our order -- forgot the drink and gave us spicy ketchup instead of mustard. They had asked us to pull up (past the window) and wait for the order so at that point, it didn't seem worthwhile to try and fix. Definitely not a streamlined system like other fast food drive-throughs (e.g. In-N-Out or Chick-fil-A). GENERAL: It's a decent fast food burger but honestly, not as good as the one at In-N-Out. The best items they offer, in my opinion, are: the onion rings and the apple pie. Those were both delicious and stole the show. I rarely eat fast food so I really can't envision myself coming back here especially when there are better-tasting and more organized options out there.

I've lived in Texas since 1990, and Whataburger has been a part of my "Texas Experience". Great burgers, great service and great value. Until, maybe 4 year ago, when I began to notice a marked decline. I'm not sure sure what to attribute it, but both the service and the food quality have fallen off, steeply. It got so bad a few months ago, after a stop for what we thought was a quick pick-up meal at a drive thru off the Interstate, that i wrote to customer service. "30 minute waiting for an order that never arrived". We finally pulled out of the pickup line, went inside and waited another 30. We finally drove off without our food. I got a formal "We'll call you in 48 hours" response, but that call never came. A month later, on another long drive, my wife begged me to try them again. We pulled in the drive thru, ordered, waited 30 minutes, the pulled out before checking our order. It was completely wrong, much less than we paid for. We drove back, i walked in to find a group of four customers waiting at an empy counter. See my order in my hand, one of the ladies volunteered, "I've been here 20 minutes and no one has even spoken to me". I take the bag they gave me, gave it to a homeless man, since no one in our family would eat the items we got. I, of course, sent off another complaint. No answer at all this time, four days later. Fooled me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. We're done. What the heck happened to these franchises?

Amazing burgers. I definitely recommend to everyone. I personally got the double whataburger. It wasn't too busy with another of workers in training. It also wasn't loud. The sweet tea wasn't too sweet.

I ordered a Whataburger meal w/apple pie. No tomatoes no onions with ketchup and mustard, pickles and jalapeños. Don't know why but the jalapeños came in a little cup and not inside the burger. Also, my apple pie was not fresh and kinda warm. I ordered through the app and selected "Dine In." My whole order was stuffed into one bag, burger, fries, apple pie and a small cup of jalapeños. I had to ask for a tray. I took out all the contents and placed them on the tray and threw the bag away. Can we do better?

Hear me out - I am from Vegas so I am comparing this burger to the burgers we have out here. Everyone I know from Texas is obsessed with this place!!!! It was okay for what I got but maybe I ordered wrong lol. I did however enjoy the spicy ketchup! Wish I could have more of that! The service was just okay and they ended up kicking us out of the lobby because it was near closing time lol. But it was fun to try!

I have been waiting for almost 3 weeks to get refunded for the least visit that I had at this location. I have also been waiting on a manager to call me with an apology for being called stupid by a drive thru employee. I called last week to follow up with customer service and the customer service representative was dry and rude. She told me that they would get back to be whenever. I told her that her customer service skills needed some work. Within 2 minutes of ending the conversation with her. I received a text message from an unknown number calling me a dumb bitch. When I responded to the message that it was the Whataburger customer service representative. She then accused me of sleeping with her husband. I called customer service the next day and spoke with the customer service manager. She looked up the call and there was no record of my call. I called at 6:07 and the call lasted nine minute including the hold time and I received the text 2 minutes after the call. The manager said that she would investigate the matter and call me back. I called the store tonight and asked for a manager. Mohamed answered and I explained to him that I still haven't received my refund. He proceeded to tell me that I needed to go on with my life and stop harassing them. He talked to me so horribly that I had to take the phone from my ear and look at it. He said that I needed to get over it. I told him that I hadn't received compensation for the bad experiences as well as the refunds. He said" do not come back to the location if you do you will be trespassing!" I told him that wouldn't go back there not even to use the bathroom. I ended up telling him off at the end of the conversation because I was very frustrated with his behavior. He shouldn't be in that position if that's how he treats customers! This experience has been horrible and I am not going to stop until I receive an apology and my refund. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB!

Not to be confused with Whopperburger (Burger King), Walkerburger (whichever chain older folks go to), and Won-ton-burger (sounds like an awful fusion place on Bellaire), this is Texas' own Whataburger, and the location that's not too far from my house in Houston. I haven't had any great meals (yet) from this Whataburger and they seem to be hit or miss with the food, but one thing it is great for it is on a Friday or Saturday night, they keep the lobby open till 3am, and on some nights from about 2am until about 3am, it gets completely packed with really beautiful people (some of us anyway), so it's a lot of fun for hanging out and people watching, complimenting each other and watching strangers pick each other up over lukewarm fries, and communally eating fatty foods around a lot of people that don't eat a lot of fatty foods (well, some of them do), and of course using some of the nastiest bathrooms in the Greater Houston area which is really saying something because this town does nasty bathrooms, well, nastily.

Absolutely miserable. Zero stars if I could, everyone that works here acts like they're so slow in the brain at all times, I swear. No way it should take 20+min to go through a FAST FOOD drive thru during the lunch hour on a Tuesday - on a day when the lobby is closed and they're not taking mobile orders - and STILL get completely cold and stale food AND have an item missing. Forget the parking lot construction, just tear this POS down at this point and start over.

This is the worst Whataburger location I have been to in my entire life. I utilized the app for a curbside order. I arrived at the designated time and noticed their curbside sticker which said "skip the line, order curbside". I waited 15 minutes beyond the designated timeframe and went inside to speak to a manager and inquire about my order. The employee at the front attempted to explain the delay by saying it was "lunchtime". The manager just looked at me with with helpless eyes saying woe poor me, it's so busy. I received my order and they gave me a drink to fill myself. When I got home, they messed up the order. The manager or management at this location epitomizes incompetence and poor customer service, the service is egregiously subpar compared to other Whataburger locations. What a disaster of a business. The only reason they have customers is due to their central location. Do not come here if you are looking for a Whataburger which conforms to the usual standard. This place is WTF burger, not Whataburger. A complete disaster. So sad to see a place like this actually stays in business. Do not use your app for curbside. It means nothing here.

I've been waiting forever in line for a Whataburger Jr. and everyone behind me is leaving, six cars. This is my favorite Whataburger!!!!! The car in front of me was told to drive up so I could get to the window. Their food came out while I paid for mine. After a while, I was told to drive up. Six cars behind me got their food and left. I could not be the only person ordering a baby hamburger! I moved to the front and parked. Went in and requested my money back. They told me my food was being prepared. PREPARED!!!! What's up with that? The manager came with the food. I told him I just wanted my money returned. He said I could have the food and my money. I told him it would not be right to take the food without paying for it. I didn't want it. I was given my money, but the manager was insisting I take the food. He walked me to my car and I kept saying no. He kept trying even after I got in my car. I took to bag. The bread was wet from the tomato's. I don't like wet bread. I was very disappointed with my favorite place, very! I might give them another chance, but after that, I might need to find one in Richmond. No stars.

My husband, niece and I came here tonight, and the drive thru was extremely busy, so we came inside and Taylor took our order. She was kind, attentive and accommodated us w/ a smile on her face. 1 star because I can't leave zero stars. It is 6:30 am and there is no one in the drive thru and I've been waiting over 10. Minutes for 2 sausage egg and cheese biscuits. I pulled up expecting to be out quick because THERE WAS NOT A SOUL IN THE DRIVE THRU, and now I'm late. Not to mention the lazy and mediocre customer service. Even tho it's the closest to me, I rarely come to this location, for this reason.

It never fails that I see at least two cars drive away after waiting to move an inch for ten minutes. It's a Friday night and the line is sticking out into the street and we haven't moved at all in 12 minutes and counting

Placed my order through the Whataburger app. Arrived at the restaurant and all HELL broke loose. Everyone there was mad and no one was getting their food. I was there for 45 minutes and never received my food. I asked for the manager so I could get a refund and he refused to come to the front. I videoed the last minute before I left to document it.

Nothing to right home about. First time experience at a WAB and wasn't blown away. I had the double WAB with mayonnaise, could barely taste the mayonnaise the hamburger had no taste, the fries tasted like store bought fries. Two stars for the spicy ketchup and the hamburger was large.

If it was possible to give negative stars I would. My order was simple. #1 with cheese, bun toasted on both sides, mayo and mustard, extra mayo, cut in half. Fresh fries. The burger first came out, no cheese and lukewarm. I told the young lady there was no cheese and they simply slapped a slice on and didn't bother to warm or even cut the slice. Then there's no mayo. Then the pattie was old. The fries were old. All those people in the kitchen and the order still wrong and old. Made me sick. Neva again!

Not only was there hair in my food, but there was also a finger nail in the second order we had as well. I get it, sometimes there's no 100 percent fool proof plan, but a finger nail !!!!! When I addressed the situation to the Manager Mohammad he got upset with me and said I should have brought him the fingernail. The fact that you expected me to bring you the finger nail is even more disgusting !

GREAT SERVICE! Went in to pick up me & my 4 co-workers online order & the Manager helped me right away! As soon as he went to go grab my orders, every employee that passed me made sure I was already being helped and went to help him on if he needed anything to make my trip even more quick & efficient. I then saw all the awards they've gotten on their wall on their service and team work & was super impressed & could see why! they deserve it. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE I passed two Whataburgers to come to this one and will continue to do so
