Whataburger

Food was made fresh to order. Wait time in the drive thru was only 2 cars deep and went very fast. They didn’t ask if I wanted sauces but included the bomb spicy ketchup I wanted regardless so I was happy! I’ve been to this location before and will repeat my business.

If I could rate lower I would, tonight me and my fiance paid 21$ for the most disappointing meal at a place that we never had issues at before. The restaurant is obviously not doing well with how fast the quality has gone down, me and my fiance have always enjoyed this location and even go out of our way to go here, tonight we ordered 1 pancake and bacon plate a la cart with a side of scrambled eggs, bacon breakfast bowl with gravy on the side a la cart, and a 3 piece chicken tender a la cart. I regret waiting to get home to eat since we couldn't noticed sooner if we would've checked but I've never had an issue before with them so I didn't feel a need they've never missed anything before. At the window we stopped and noticed the side gravy was smaller than usual and my fiance had no sauce for his strips, she told us we had to pay for extra gravy and and the extra sauce cup rudely until she was shown he wasn't givin the right sauce in the first place. When we got home we first noticed there was no side of scrambled eggs which we paid for. When I saw his strips I genuinely thought he had taken a bite on the way home, it was served to us with one peice looking look it was waiting to be put out of it's misery and hanging on by just a thread. Absolutely unacceptable, I really wish I was lying about this. The quality has gone down severely and I'd like to be compensated for this before coming back this restaurant again. We have been long time customers and this is just absolutely ridiculous, just go to a different restaurant instead and save your time and money.

The best burgers, fresh, however you like it and friendly. They are definitely my spot to go late at night for a burger my way. Dine in is available and roomy and clean. Self serve soda fountain. Plenty of Parking. It's definitely busy sometimes so please check or be patient. Thanks to whataburger for a great dining experience. I think it's open 24 hours. They also have drive thru. I get custom burgers my way and my food tastes great. I think it's busier in the evening . I had the double cheeseburger with fries and a drink. They have onion rings and apple pie for dessert. Great service and food.

I ordered a large CHOCOLATE shake and got vanilla (even tho she repeated chocolate as she handed it to me). And my Large onion rings was a large box with less than half the rings. So sick of them just not caring. I spend $35 and I guess half the order right is better than nothing is the attitude you get. Cant get a hold of anyone anymore at any fast food to complain including here so I paid for what they Felt like giving me. RIDICULOUS

Our first time visiting at Whataburger. The service was excellent. The lady behind the counter was really friendly and helpful. The double burger and fry combo was just okay; really liked the spicy ketchup. The restaurant was clean but very dated. The interior looked like it hadn't changed since the late 80's.

I have no clue what you guys are all talking about the people here are so nice the employees are excellent they go out of their way for you I walked in and there is a young manager by the name of p a i g e she was so friendly and went out of her way for me and made the biscuits and gravy fresh with fresh gravy she was very amicable and definitely an asset to Whataburger thank you guys I love you your Jimmy John's delivery biker girl

I am from San Diego CA Everytime that I get a chance to try a burger that reminds me of my childhood I'm all in, that's what a burger is for me delicious and tasty burgers from a childhood. Do I think that is better than the yellow arrow burger definitely NO. Decent burgers and nice people. I highly recommend this place ☺️ they are everywhere in some areas in the Midwest except in CA

The service was fairly friendly and quick. The fries and the meat weren’t fresh. Maybe this is a bad location, but I don’t see what the fuss is about. Maybe people in Texas don’t know what a good burger is.

One thing about why I'm pretty disappointed about the food is in June 2023 when I had their burger it gave me cramps and I was so disappointed at the time I don't know what caused me to have cramps or if they gave me this, but this is the worst outrageous thing I could've ever done maybe they might need to control their food. The better luck next time before things get worse.

Late night fast food. Old reliable whataburger. this place was 24hrs via drive thru. Got a triple whatabuger and it was as i expected, solid. Food came out quickly for a late night drive thru and my order was accurate so 3 stars lol.

Incredibly mid. The whole experience. Anyone saying that this burger is better than In-n-out isn't human, they're a bot. Ain't no way. I'd rather have a Mickey D double cheeseburger than this

I enjoyed Whataburger here recently. We stopped in for a burger and fries. Think I got me a DOuble Cheeseburger with bacon lettuce and tomato. It was tasty and delicious. Everything in big size portion for a cheaper price. Cant beat the 24hrs drive thru service. Hey, what more can I ask for?

Understand that this is a fast food review. Therefore, it's not going to get a 5 star anything from me. I eat fast food for 2 reasons, when my family requests it, or if It is convenient to the situation. So basically ., I have no choice. A couple years ago we went to Texas and didn't get To try the tons of whataburgers we passed. At first, it was cause i refused to eat fast food on vacation, then, because we were in the middle of a huge snow/ice storm and we were trying to then get the hell out of dodge. So when we found one a mile from our air bnb in Phoenix I obliged. The workers were nice. The place was clean. The burgers were not greasy and a really good size. It was a pretty good burger. My son enjoyed it and said it was the best fast food burger he's had. Hubby got a triple patty and said he instantly regretted getting a burger that big, but all in all, it was a positive experience. I liked that they had so much to offer for breakfast and also that they were 24 hours.

Super friendly staff! I'm so used to going into a fast food restaurant and being treated badly by the employees that this place was pleasantly surprising. Food was typical...fast though.

We had a darn good meal at this location today. The lady who took our order, Shantel M., was polite and friendly. I had a Whataburger meal, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickle and customized with bacon and green chile and fries for my side. My wife had the BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich meal on Texas Toast, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions and customized with bacon and onion rings for the side. When the meals were brought out, we were asked if we needed condiments. Here is my only complaint. I asked for ketchup for my fries and my wife asked for ranch dressing for her onion rings. Shantel supplied several packets of ketchup, but then, she told us that the Ranch Dressing was 75 cents more. I gave her a dollar and she brought a Ranch Dressing. I am of the belief and opinion that there should not be an additional charge since Ranch is commonly served with onion rings. Again, the meal and service was great. I just felt that it was an imposition to ask for more money after the meal was sitting in front of us, especially since I felt that Ranch should be complimentary with onion rings.

I was at the Whataburger to pick up an order for someone else. There was no line in the store, and there were approximately five people in the drive-thru line. There was no cashier when I arrived. Then the cashier explained to me that she was cleaning the lobby, and when she was done cleaning the lobby she would come take my order. I told her you don't have to take my order, it's already ready. Can you just check. She went back into the back ; sat there for a good 5 minutes and then came back and said we lost the order, we're going to start it over. While standing in line there was another employee who was mopping the lobby, while I was waiting for the order, the guy mopped all around me, and then ask me to move so he could mop the spot I was on. It was very wet, and I recommended to him that if you're going to mop behind me and in front of me when I'm ordering you should at least let me know, I would hate to have to sue you for negligence. I told him that it happens all the time, just click it up on YouTube. The worker was so mad, that he shouted at his boss that he needed to take a break. After about another 15 minutes, I realized that it wasn't ever going to get my order, so I left. I figured they probably were waiting for that because they didn't want to make it anyway. Terrible attitudes. Terrible employees, no customer service experience. And whoever the manager was today was clearly not watching what was going on. My pet peeve is when another employee makes eye contact with you, and then suddenly looks away, showing you they know what they're supposed to do, but they're afraid to do it because it might violate leaving the line for 10 seconds. I'm now seriously going to have to consider if I ever go to Whataburger again, I never really considered them the best anyway. Just a very weird visit. No Ambiance. Definitely someplace you would never want to go back to after having to deal with some of the jokesters in there!

Drove thru and they were friendly & fast. Order was correct fresh & hot. Great time saver on a very busy day was super helpful!

As someone who eats a lot of food I'm here to end the In N Out vs WhatABurger debate. Whataburger wins in a clean sweep. Not even close. California is a pretty overrated state also. I guess I should focus on the review though. The food is good. You can really taste the freshness in the burgers. You absolutely have to try BBQ sauce on a burger. Such an underrated condiment. I don't know why we don't put more BBQ on burgers. I had fun and would for sure go back when I'm in the area

I feel horrible for this location as they are very short staffed and over worked. We ordered food and got it 30+ mins later. The fires were dry & cold and the burgers were cold and buns were old. The ice machine was broken and the drinks were not fizzy. Only giving them 1 stars because the people working there were nice :( I hope this locations gets the corp. help they need.

First off, it took awhile for someone to actually come and take my order. I ordered a peppercorn spicy chicken ranch meal. I have to say that the whole meal was below average and there is nothing that stands out about this place.

1/2 hour wait time for 2 burgers and fries? The food was the expected Whataburger quality: good, but nothing exceptional, but I've never been to this location, it was not a busy time of day and the store just had a scattering of customers, so certainly wasn't expecting so long of a wait. I also can't help but wondering if we didn't go back up to the counter to ask Whatsamatter, if we might not still be waiting....However, we were apologized to when the order finally showed up, and each of us were gifted a delicious apple pie. Wise move! I've never had their apple pies before and I'll definitely order one next time. It was as good as the golden days of the Golden Arches when their apple pie was THE apple pie. Whatapie!

Berlin was the the sweetest and most accommodating person we could hope for. Breakfast was amazing too! Whataburger...WOW Whataservice with a smile!!!!

If I could give them a zero I would. My wife and I are on vacation and passing through Phoenix. I had heard good things about Whataburger. WhataDisappointment! The service was terrible. There was a manager that was very nice. She said she was visiting from another store. Everyone else was very rude and treated us like we were an inconvenience. They told us that the lobby was closed and brought the food in a to go bag. They basically asked us to leave. I told them the sign says open 24 hours, so we stayed and ate. The food by the way was very poor quality.

Soggy burger. Bacon wasn't cooked, still looked raw. Fries were weren't cooked all the way. No condiments provided. This was a online order. This is was the second time this year I have eaten there. I don't eat at this business as much as I used to, but very disappointed in my recent transactions!

Waited 30 min for my food, just for them to forget most of the ingredients in the salad (No apples in a Apple/Cran GrilledChicken Salad only chicken and cranberries ?!) ... paid for extra jalapenos got a soggy sandwich with no jalapenos. Dont bother with the southern bacon it was gross and waaay too much Mayo. I love whataburger but will not be returning to this location I paid $26 for a salad and a really weird burger. Please just do better people spend alot of money at your restaurant for half *ss service. I don't know if it's a sit store policy, or the empire employees being lazy suckers, but here it goes. I went at 1015am. I ordered for the family. One of the things I ordered was a biscuit and gravy. I got home opened up the container, and immediately knew something was workin wrong. I could see the gravy sloshing around on the clear lid. I opened it up, and it was actually gravy colored water, with sausage bits floating on top. Apparently the 10 minute wait at the drive through, was so they could scrape a spoonful of gravy out of a pan, boil some water, and mix it together. Totally disgusting. 7/8/23

First experience at this chain & had come in having heard of their great reputation for burgers. Had the double-cheese with everything along with the fries. The burger was good, but the bun took away from it being terrific. However, the fries were outstanding. They may consider a marketing change to "Whatafry"... Definitely worthy of stopping in. The food is filling and the staff was great.

So I am very disappointed with Whataburger today. I orders a meal got my bag of food and drink and took off. They didn't give me my burger also ordered an unsweetened iced tea. Got some weird raspberry tea with enough sugar to kill a small village. My large fry was a joke too. Asked for ketchup and never got that either. Looking at reviews to store #1222 and I think corporate Whataburger should shut this store down. It gives them a bad name. Can't even go back to have them make it right because by the time I noticed I was back to work and can't leave. No lunch for me today. Thanks!

If you are going through the drive thru and they tell you to pull up to the side then just ask for your money back or better yet you should go somewhere else. They took 20+ minutes for a basic number 1 with no charges or anything special. Cars behind me got food and I was tempted to go around again. The poor employee who is running the food looked miserable. The bag was so oily that I ended up going in and getting my money back. The manager had to help refund and he smelled like an ashtray. Get that they don't make enough and don't give a crap so spare yourself. I love whattaburger but ended up going to McDonalds since I had to grab something quick to not go over my lunch break.

During daytime hours this restaurant seems fine, early morning is "Unique"ly unpleasant She either hates her job or the public. I'm taking a Whataburger break.

30+ minutes in line for 2 burgers and the wrong drinks. I'd be tempted to blame everyone in there for sucking at their job, but the 3 minutes that I got to spend at the window it was very apparent that the management has absolutely no business running a crew. Everyone was super confused and sporadic. I'd give them a pass if this was the first experience I've had like this with this location but it is not. This place is the DMV of fast food. Fire the managers and get someone in there that understands how to appropriately task a crew to create an operation that actually works. SMH the audacity to try to charge me for a cup of ranch after we were trapped in the drive through for 30 minutes.

Salty , inedible, nasty food. Just no. I was told this is the In n Out of Texas so I had to stop by. Everything from the burger, to the fries, and the soda were just not doing what it needed to do. After a few bites, everything went into the garbage. I wanted to salvage what I could, but it was too salty. The double patty burger was the sadest thing I have ever seen. The patty is so small and the buns are too big.

Went through the drive through and after ordering and paying was told to go up to the front after 10 mins of waiting then proceeded to Wait a half hour for two burgers A regular # 1 and a regular # 2 Watched car after car drive through with there food and watched employees stand around and no one let me know anything about how long or why my food (specifically my food ) was taking so long Better part is that my food was cold when I got it

Just got off of work and went to grab a burger. Something I regularly do because it's the only place open this time at night. Only tonight I had to wait for 30 mins in the drive thru and not be able to order cause the staff was too busy eating themselves!

I were there this morning 01/01/2023 very poor service person taking the order seemed like I were inconveniencing him? food was terrible! cold french fries never offered condiment' just threw in some spicy ketchup? Folks working there! maybe you should get a job you enjoy.

Keep in mind that this is fast food, so keep it in context. This is my first time, ever, eating at a Whataburger. Despite going to ASU, and walking past one each day to and from school. I had onion rings and a Hatch green chili burger. Both were outstanding! This is not McDonalds.

I ordered Chicken strips and onion rings, and a couple of my onion rings was not deep fried onions. It was deep-fried paper or plastic. When training new people on the Night Shift they need to help them because this is not the first time this has happened at this location.

So disappointed with my order today. We went here before a softball game and ordered 30.00 worth of food only to have the entire order messed up. The receipt was correct but the food that was in the bag was not. We ordered all burgers with cheese and ketchup ONLY, we got w everything but ketchup. When I called and asked for a manager he couldn't be bothered with me, he didn't even want my order number. Will NOT be back to this place!

Probably the worst Whataburger I have ever been to. I went through the drive-through only to be told to park in the front waited 15 minutes nobody ever came out to deliver the food. Had to run inside with my receipt only to have them tell me they gave my food away. I wasn't the only one they had waiting out in the parking lot for the food either..... new management is needed asap

I made an online order tonight. When we arrived at the Whataburger there were 2 cars in front of us, so we knew there would be a little bit of a wait.... 40 minutes later we pulled up to the window and we're told they were just starting our order. We were told by the nasty night manager that they did not have the ingredients to make a patty melt.. I asked her to just cancel the order to get my money back and she stated that I would have to call the corporate office. Instead we chose to stay and get another burger. We were asked to pull forward to wait for our order. We chose to stay at the window and observed the employees looking confused and unmotivated to fulfill orders. 15 minutes later we received half of the modified order and most of it was cold. Although we love Whataburger, this will NOT be a location we will visit again.

Worst services I visited this Whataburger 01/13/2024 around 6:54pm they had all doors locked and had 5 cars from the drive through waiting for their food outside the drive through also when asked for condiments they said only if they remember when bring out the food to us. This place should not be operating with the staff they have also to make matters worse the food was cold and fries tasted disgusting.

The drive thru took about 40 minutes, then when we received our food it wasn't the correct order, and the food just looked terrible. The chili cheese fries didn't even look like chili cheese fries. Maybe they need more staffing because the quality of the food even suffers.

I love Whataburger sometimes mistakes happen and I understand because this location gets very busy at times. I've had mistakes made to my order ( example) I ordered a patty melt but got the avocado bacon burger. I've had very friendly employees I try to show as much respect and understand when I come because I understand the frustration and stress of have so much people in a line at once and having rude people in your ear all day. I've also had unfriendly staff members even though I tried to be well spoken and kind to them. All in all I'll come back just to support the business because I've been going to Whataburger since I was a kid.

0 stars need to become an option for this location :). Unfortunately it is the closest location to me so I go for connivence. Almost every single time my order is messed up and missing something and the staff never fails to be in a horrible mood. If you feel like getting your order wrong and treated like shit tho come here!!!

I wish we had one in Las Vegas! The burgers are so tasty! The fries are awesome also. Service for the most part is great too.

Went to pick up food for my family. One female employee was arguing loudly with another and was back and forth over her to go food order (she was in her work clothes) She then received her food and made a scene saying she refused to eat it after the employees in the back had talked bad to her. She apparently didn't trust the food to be safe to eat?? This was not a pleasant feeling as we were just handed our food order that was made at the same time as hers. We left as she was storming behind the counter ranting about not eating her food. We absolutely decided we will not be back to this location ever again. So unprofessional...

So, I was helping my friend clean up some brush, and I was sweaty, hot and hungry. What did I want to eat at 9:45am on a Saturday morning? Yup....Whataburger! This one was located pretty close to her house so I decided to hit it up. This may be one of the older Whataburgers in Phoenix. The signage and inside of it seemed a bit old school. I went with their Sweet and Spicy Bacon Burger combo. I really only get 2 things at Whataburger...the Green Chile Double and then this burger when its available. This thing is great! It comes with 2 huge patties (Whataburger patties are some of the biggest patties in the fast food industry...and that is a good thing!), American and Monterey Jack cheese, grilled onions, bacon, mustard and a sweet and spicy pepper sauce. This thing is delicious! While my other favorite, the Green Chile Double, is pretty simple and straightforward with its approach, this burger blends a bunch of different flavors all into one. The sweet and spicy pepper sauce is delicious! Not even really "spicy", but it has a pepper kick to it. Like a cross between a jazzed up bbq/teriyaki type sauce. It's really tasty! The meat, cheese, bacon, onions, mustard and sauce all play well together and make it a really enjoyable burger. I wish they would carry it all the time! Also, their fries are salted very well, and there is no better condiment to dip them in than the Whataburger spicy ketchup! So damn good....worth coming here alone. That spicy ketchup is the shizz! Washed everything down with a Coke! Overall, it was a very good brunch! Whataburgers are pretty consistent for the most part. This one was a bit shy of 5 star worthy because of two things. 1. The guy who brought out my food, mishandled my tray and knocked over my fries. They went spilling onto the table and he blurted out, "I hate when that happens." Yeah, me too buddy lol. No big deal since only like 2 or 3 fell on the floor, but still. How hard is it to place down a tray on a flat surface? And, the bun of my burger seemed a bit stale like it was approaching its expiration date. Not inedible stale, but I have had way fresher buns at all my other Whataburgers I have been to before. Anyways.....2 little nit picky things, but I would still come back. It's right off the 17 freeway and they are open 24-7.

I say try it. They have items better than others and worse. Onion rings were very good. They have original items too. Would eat there again but don't know if I would go out of my way.

Ok burger, good fries, peach shake doesn't have much peach flavor. We each Ordered a small shake and were charged for and received a medium! When I pointed out the mistake, the cashier Mare simply said "sorry". We then told the manager Kevin and he said he "would see what he could do"! Left the main room and was unavailable still at the end of our lunch, hiding in the office. They did say we could have a free small shake - next time we come in. Unfortunately that doesn't help us any since we are passing through and don't live here!!!! No Customer Service at this location!

Super clean restaurant, as you would expect with this chain. The food is fresh as usual and delivery is quick. Mice to have a dependable chain I can hit anywhere in the valley for a quick, tasty lunch between errands.

If I could give no stars I would. This is the worst place I've ever been to and I'm never going back. Every single time I go there is an issue there's no point in returning. 20 minutes for a bbq chicken strip jr and I'm pretty sure I know why, you can hear the staff from the dining area messing around having fun.

I'm literally trapped in the drive-thru! I can't get out it is taking forever I mean I've been sitting in this drive-through for about 30 minutes I'm about to run out of gas I am furious! Why does it take 45 minutes to make a burger lol! If you are in a rush and you are looking for fast food do not pull through this drive-through there's nothing fast about this! SLOW AfFFFfffffffff! WTF
