Yoshiharu Ramen has carved a niche among Fullerton’s ramen spots by offering a focused menu of classic broths and inventive add-ins, all in a sleek, contemporary space. OC Weekly and several local food critics have applauded Yoshiharu’s dedication to housemade noodles and its perfectly balanced tonkotsu. The shop’s minimalist décor puts the spotlight on the food, and their ramen bowls consistently earn high marks for both flavor and presentation.

Stopped by What’s Up Noodles in Fullerton for a mid-night bite with my brother – and it did not disappoint! We were warmly greeted by a kind, Japanese-speaking waitress who offered us both hot tea and water right away. Super friendly vibe. I ordered the Kara Miso Ramen. This was a rich and spicy miso broth with thick, chewy noodles, tender chashu pork, menma (bamboo shoots), bean sprouts, green onions, a perfectly soft-boiled egg, black garlic oil, and a spicy red chili paste ball that added just the right heat. My brother got the Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen – a soy sauce-flavored pork bone broth with thin noodles, green onions, menma, a soft-boiled egg, and a sheet of nori (dried seaweed). Classic and super comforting. We shared gyoza – crispy pan-fried dumplings with juicy pork filling – and karaage chicken, which was juicy, crisp, and had a spicy marinade that packed real flavor. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served with a smile. Great little spot for late-night ramen cravings. Will definitely be back.

Service was pretty good, we got seated quickly without wait at 1pm weekday. I like that they provided free tea.

Definitely recommended to try. Their Ramen was great 👌 I will come back for different order. Friendly and respectful staff, fair prices for the quality.

This ramen restaurant is so good!!! We ordered the Kuro Ramen and Spicy Miso Ramen. Kuro Ramen was a bit too salty for us and the Spicy Miso Ramen is less salty but still a bit salty so I had to pour a bit of water in to match my taste. One thing that I freaking love is the noodle because they are chewy and just taste so much better compared to any ramen restaurant that I have been to. I am highly and strongly recommend this restaurant!

Good ramen that I get during lunch after classes. Their lunch special let's you get a small side, and I always get the beef bowl (gyudon). It's honestly better than their ramen 😅. The chashu is the best part of the ramen. ($12-14 for bowl of ramen, $15-18 for lunch special)

I’ve been here on multiple occasions to order takeout after a cheat day from my regular chipotle after the gym and the one thing I can count on is that the staff is always so respectful, even with new faces. I always feel welcome and the food quality + packaging is excellent. This is truly some of the best service you’ll see in Fullerton, 10/10

This restaurant is fantastic. Even though the interior is tiny, and the tables are packed together, the place seems to be cozy. The menu looks very nice, and there are a lot of options. The waiter was very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Sticks are wrapped in custom paper, and they also have custom plates. Everything is brought momentarily, and the portions are manageable. The tea was great. Both soups were delicious. Teriyaki chicken was fabulous. Curry was pretty spicy, but it has to be, so we enjoyed it. A type of place where five stars are more than deserved. Without a doubt a to-go place in Fullerton.

This is honestly review at this place. First impression is very clean environment and the staff is very helpful, fast service. I noticed that the staff is always on top of their work. If you are looking for a good Ramen place in Fullerton go here. I highly recommend getting the AKA Ramen, make sure you ask for extra hot broth and extra egg. It is worth it. Clean place. Go check it out for yourself
