Yoshiharu Ramen has carved a niche among Fullerton’s ramen spots by offering a focused menu of classic broths and inventive add-ins, all in a sleek, contemporary space. OC Weekly and several local food critics have applauded Yoshiharu’s dedication to housemade noodles and its perfectly balanced tonkotsu. The shop’s minimalist décor puts the spotlight on the food, and their ramen bowls consistently earn high marks for both flavor and presentation.

Google
Vegan Ramen! I had an excellent experience here. The ramen broth was very creamy and flavorful, and I really appreciated the generous amount of vegetables in my bowl. It also came with plenty of tofu, which I loved. The serving size was just right—it left me full and satisfied. I also liked that the menu has clearly marked vegan options, which made ordering super easy. This ramen broth is definitely in my top five of all the ones I’ve tried. Shout out to my server, Alina, for her excellent service and welcoming energy. She really added to my experience and made my first visit here a great one. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Stopped by What’s Up Noodles in Fullerton for a mid-night bite with my brother – and it did not disappoint! We were warmly greeted by a kind, Japanese-speaking waitress who offered us both hot tea and water right away. Super friendly vibe. I ordered the Kara Miso Ramen. This was a rich and spicy miso broth with thick, chewy noodles, tender chashu pork, menma (bamboo shoots), bean sprouts, green onions, a perfectly soft-boiled egg, black garlic oil, and a spicy red chili paste ball that added just the right heat. My brother got the Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen – a soy sauce-flavored pork bone broth with thin noodles, green onions, menma, a soft-boiled egg, and a sheet of nori (dried seaweed). Classic and super comforting. We shared gyoza – crispy pan-fried dumplings with juicy pork filling – and karaage chicken, which was juicy, crisp, and had a spicy marinade that packed real flavor. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served with a smile. Great little spot for late-night ramen cravings. Will definitely be back.

Google
Tasty ramen and fried rice. Takoyaki was so good we almost thought it was freshly made. Stir fry vegetables good too. Run by Japanese operators. Service and food was prompt on a busy weekday lunch hours. Oh, and I love their beautiful Japanese ceramic plates.

Google
My friend chef sin ya is here. Very good ramen & Gyu Don & Gyo Za & Sake... Everything so 👍 Open until 1 am. OMG... There is red paper & jalapeño & maybe... habanero ???

Google
Great experience overall, but the ramen portion was quite small for $14 per bowl. Broth was thick and very hot, perfect for the rainy weather. Service was quick, and our server was wonderful. I was curious to see this place and stopped by, but I don’t think I’ll return because of the small portions.

Google
Service was pretty good, we got seated quickly without wait at 1pm weekday. I like that they provided free tea.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What’s Up Men – The Best Ramen Around! What’s Up Men is hands-down my favorite local ramen spot. The broth is incredible — rich, flavorful, and comforting — even the vegan version is fantastic. Be sure to try their seasonal ramen creations too; they’re always unique and delicious. The service is outstanding every single time. We absolutely love Miyuki and the entire staff for always being so kind, attentive, and welcoming. A must-visit if you’re craving truly great ramen with genuinely great people behind it!

Google

Yelp
Excellent ramen spot that is open late, this was my second trip to What's up Men, small clean restaurant, nice staff and delicious food. I went with the Kuro which is a soy tonkatsu. The gyoza was great too! 100% will be back!

Yelp
This is the spot if you want ramen. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere is cozy. You always get great food every time you come here. Everything on the menu from the appetizers to the side dishes are amazing and the prices are reasonable. I have all applause and praise for this cute little restaurant. And side note, there was one time my daughter left behind an enamel pin by accident and they held on to it, they saved it for us and returned it to us the next time we came back! We love this place!

Yelp
1) Ramen comes out fast. +1 2) No complaints whatsoever with the tonkotsu shio/shiro - simple and good. +1 3) Kaarage - hot; decent batter/meat ratio. +1 4) Ika - less satisfying than kaarage but good enough. +1 5) Gyutan - i love beef tongue, but this missed the mark. Also, too many onions. -1 Wouldn't mind coming back again.

Yelp
Nice place and yummy and nice food too I love it there too I love the food and the food and the food and I love the way
google avatar

Yelp
I've ordered take out plenty of times but this was my first time dining in. There is a lunch special so in addition to the aka ramen I usually order I was able to try a side of curry. It was delicious. The service was great, they always checked to see if I wanted a refill.

Yelp
After a long day of disney land ca adventure, if course I had to get some comforting food. . I really love the mug and appetizer combo for 12 bucks. It's like a a yes for me. I love a good snack and a ice cold beer in a mug. I got a japanese beer and some potstickers to go with the combo. . Ramen- definitely authentic and taste soooo good late at midnight. This spot closes at 1am which is a winner. Not only does it close late but the bowl of ramen was sooo good. . Love the ramen noodles it's like cooked perfectly, not hard or soft. The noodle wasn't too thick or thin either. The soup base was umami and flavorful. The egg was perfect. The portion was great for a midnight snack. . Service was quick and food came out quick like less than 10 minutes. Quick dinner and go back to the hotel to sleep and take off for flight. Close to Anaheim disney for me which was a short 15 minute drive. Hope this helps and thanks for reading. Have a yelptastic day.

Yelp
Nothing wrong with a little late night Ramen! As a Ramen snob, I was pleasantly surprised by my first visit to What's up Men. Walked in at around 10:30pm (I love a late night dinner) and were immediately sat. The ambiance is super casual with tons of young people enjoying themselves. One thing about me, I am super duper picky about my ramen. I really only enjoy a handful of places and I was pleasantly surprised with my meal at Whats up men! I opted for the spicy miso and gyoza. Both were great! My favorite part were the sauces on the side. I love dressing up my ramen and it made my bowl even that much more delicious. And of course, we finished it off with an ice cold pitcher of beer. Great to round out the meal. Loved my late night meal at Whats up men! I'm sure ill be back to slurp up an 11pm bowl again very soon.

Yelp
Nice cozy spot with great service. Arrived with a party of 8 and they didn't have space together. They were kind enough to ask some diners to move to make tables available. Food is amazing.!
google avatar

Valeria R.

Yelp
Had the Mabo Don, a really nice homey feel. I always order mine with an egg and the spicy miso paste for an extra kick!
google avatar

Yelp
Super yummy broth and pork! Beef bowl has super tender beef! Would definitely recommend and would 10/10 come again
google avatar

Yelp
Our family go to spot for ramen! We got the kuro ramen lunch combo with the beef bowl

Kailee D.

Yelp
The service was also top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. You can tell they genuinely care about the quality of the food and the customer experience. If you're a ramen fan or just looking for a great meal, I highly recommend checking this place out. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
a go to spot for us. the ambiance here is very chill and it's great for a late night bite since they close at 1 am. the quality is consistently good, they're open late, and there's parking. what more could you need? Shiro Ramen this is my go to order. it's a tonkatsu based salt broth and it comes with plenty of meat and veggies! the noodles are cooked perfectly as well, just as they are in all of their noodle dishes. Cha-han Fried Rice a delicious staple, this fried rice comes as a side portico or a sharing size. a great salty pair to the ramen! Gyoza pretty standard gyoza, i enjoy it! they have a draft pitcher combo with an appetizer which is a pretty nice deal if you want some fresh draft beer with your food with an app
google avatar

Kiyoto K.

Yelp
No matter where you go, you can find tonkotsu ramen, but this place is amazing!! You can eat traditional Japanese soy sauce ramen!! I've been in America for over 30 years, but the taste reminds me of the traditional Japanese soy ramen of the past. The fried rice was also excellent. Some of the staff spoke Japanese, and the attentive service made me feel the true Japanese hospitality.

Yelp
Always hits the spot! Especially when it's cold and I need something soupy to eat. The best in the area for sure n

Barry H.

Yelp
The only way I could do that was if you wanted me too I could come and pick it out and then I can go pick up it from your place or you could just pick

Yelp
I found the place during a last-second urgency to find something to eat late given I work graveyard shifts (and with how hard it is to find anything open past 11AM), and I'm so glad I did. The girl who took my order was super pleasant and helpful with my two inquiries, and she was just as pleasant once I arrived to pick you my order. My food was not just excellent in taste, but for a pick up order it was well made too (I can tell the cooks really want their food to be flavorful even when taken out). My only criticism was that I wish the broth was much hotter, since I DO have to travel back to work, but that really didn't detract from the overall taste and nice temperature overall. I ordered the Chuka ramen, which doesn't come with chicken, but since I don't really do pork, I had them replace it and I personally found it much better that way. The place itself is just perfect. It has that small, mom and pop type of Japanese feel that I absolutely adore in any food establishment. The decor is just as wonderful, small, and has that extra authentic feel to it (and the waitress of hostess that helped spoke Japanese perfectly too). I'm hoping the day I get to dine in, that there may be some Japanese music to it, such as a nice koto playing, to further perfect the feel of the place. I also hope to hear plenty of slurping, because it's not just part of the culture, but because it's something I enjoy too.

Yelp
Chill vibes on a rainy Saturday night. Orion beer pairs well with the savory umami broth.

Yelp
Been coming here for years and its always a pleasure and delightful delicious experience! Staff is always friendly and welcoming! This is possibly the best place for ramen in the city of Fullerton!

Kristen A.

Yelp

Yelp
I love this place still. My favorite place to go at night when my stomach feels lonely. The service is always so good and the food even better. Just fyi smaller parties are sat at smaller tables. That's just how it goes. I thought it was common sense but I guess not... It's a tiny restaurant, what do you expect...? I was having a nice time eating my rad go-to cha miso ramen when some customers next to me made a ruckus because they wanted a table that sat four when they were just a party of two. It was busy too. I can tell you have never worked a customer service job. Your greed sickens me... lol. Just sit where you're sat and live laugh love. Respect their establishment and enjoy their ramen. Like I do (hopefully). I love you. Please never close.

Yelp
out of all the ramen places i've eaten at, i'll never get tired of this one. what's up men has the BEST ramen noodles. and i might actually be biased because i've been coming here since 2017, but you know what, i'll take it. all the friends i've brought here agree. there is appeal to the noodles; super light when you pick them up with your chopsticks, and super filling when you start devouring them. this is one of my fav solo spots too! the lunch special is my ride-or-die. pair that with a spicy miso ramen, a spicy tuna bowl, some gyoza, and a coke? whooo. talk about instant serotonin.

Yelp
Best Ramen gem Good service, warming people, hidden ramen location you would try in california I like chicken there too, really tender 9/10

Yelp

Yelp
Vegan Ramen! 8/10 I had an excellent experience here. The ramen broth was very creamy and flavorful, and I really appreciated the generous amount of vegetables in my bowl. It also came with plenty of tofu, which I loved. The serving size was just right, it left me full and satisfied. Shout out to my server, Alina, for her excellent service and welcoming energy. She really added to my experience and made my first visit here a great one. It is a little shop, kind of easy to miss, but it is right next door to Pieology. I'll definitely be coming back! Suggestion: My tofu was raw, I would suggest charring or searing the tofu.

Yelp
This place is hands down the best RAMEN Spot in OC. Anything you order you won't be disappointed.

Yelp

google avatar

Yelp
I usually order the same thing every time I visit and it's never a disappointment!! Always tasty
google avatar

Yelp
Best ramen I've had in forever. The spicy broth was key for me! Tasted amazing. Not too spicy either. The portion was a good size. I couldn't finish it myself and I was full to the brim. The inside is pretty small so I can see the wait being possibly long if this ramen spot gets popular at peak times. The service was excellent. I was there along with two other customers. I think they provide the same positive attentiveness when busy.

Sung Jin C.

Yelp
Always best ramen place!! I love this place!! Best ever ramen!! Beef tongue is phenomenal!! Cozy place, awesome customer service!!
