My wife and I LOVE this place, the pizza is pretty darn good for west coast pizza ;) and the staff is always super chill. Great place to grab a brew and catch a baseball game or sip wine and enjoy a sunset on the patio.

Love the cozy ambiance, nice staff, no wait to sit down, we shared two pizzas and we ate every slice! The chimichurri shrimp one was super tasty and on the saltier side, the ganagook was a little burn crust but good sauce! We’ll be back

This was one of my favorite meals on our trip. Margherita pizza was fantastic, and the sauce stood out. It was a very floppy pizza (hard to pick up) but the flavor was incredible. The strawberry salad was a real stand-out. They toasted the quinoa so it was crunchy and garlicky in the salad and it blew my mind. Very happy with the food here. Service and ambiance were nice, it's a cool place to hang out.

Had the fabulous opportunity to meet up with colleagues and celebrate a bday with them! Wheat & Water has just the greatest atmosphere, kind staff and such delicious food that the good times were flowing! Great location in Birdrock on La Jolla Blvd. super close to the beach and in the heart of everything Birdrock has to offer. Such awesome indoor/outdoor seating as well. It’s a must try!

Really good pizza, the crust is very light and flavorful. Highly recommend the prosciutto and arugula, and the ricotta and spinach. Our server Zachary was great. They brought us tasters of a few beers so we could decide what one to get a pitcher of. The pitcher is 4 beers for the price of 3, definitely worth it. Would return!

Nice spot for drinks and dinner. There’s an outdoor patio or tables inside, both spacious. The pizza was tasty and shareable. As well as the carnitas tacos. There’s happy hour from 4:00-6:00pm.

Good mix with the menu. Best way to describe is a culinary artist prepared menu. Good value in acquired tastes and will not break the pocketbook. There was something for everybody. Our party was pleased. Great atmosphere. Thanks for a great experience! A must return.

The crew is awesome and makes you feel like family, if it’s the morning coffee girls or the evening bar tender. Good eats, fresh food... including fish as they work with local fishermen to get you the freshest eats. Holiday specials and more! I could eat here all day!
