Went here for my wifes birthday. The food was good but the fish and chips were very good. The fish was fried light, not greasy and seasoned well. The staff was friendly and helpful. Wish the menu had a few more selections but we will be back. Real score is 4.6

We had Kenyan for our server and she was incredible! We arrived close to shift-change but before she left she made sure we had everything we needed, and then we had Mandy as our server, who was just as great. The food was incredible, for our appetizer we got the spinach and artichoke dip (fabulous with the pita chips!) I got the chicken tenders and my partner got the burger for our entrees- both excellent! The fries were wonderful but I really need to suggest the house-chips with the garlic aioli sauce, truly a great pairing! The only unfortunate thing is the turn into the parking lot- it’s on a busy road if you’re turning left into it. Otherwise, the atmosphere was great, the music playing was great, not too loud. We’ll definitely be back!

The new sign they put up caught my attention, so I stopped in the check it out. Michael behind the bar is awesome! The food selection is good. I got the Cuban (pics included). It is one of the best Cubans I have had outside of South Florida. I have actually been back a couple times now and each time was enjoyable. The wings and the pan seared Salmon are delicious. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this spot!

The food was okay. Season would help. But it’s a pub what do we expect. Spinach dip was good and creamy. Brussels were just roasted no seasoning. :( The lava cake was the best thing. Nashville Hot chicken was average not hot. Seared salmon lacked flavor. It’s somebody’s vibe just not ours.

The food was incredible. I got the fish and chips and it was so crispy and flaky with good flavor. The fries were also delicious, they had that flakiness and crisp as well. The drinks were also amazing, not overly sweet but with good flavor options. The Mac n cheese balls were also amazing. They aren’t huge but they do have good flavor. We sat outside because it felt great. The outside seating was peaceful and cute. We would definitely come back. Parking wasn’t extensive so I could see how if it got busy it’d be difficult to find a spot

Disappointing Takeout Experience - Wheelhouse Pub, Decatur I’ve eaten at Wheelhouse Pub at least four times over the past 4-6 years, always going for their fish and chips. My group and I used to enjoy dining there until they once served us a disappointing ‘blackened fish’ instead of the traditional battered version we ordered. Since then, my group has refused to return, but I decided to give them another chance today, January 15, 2025. Unfortunately, they let me down again. When placing my order for takeout, I explained to the lady at the front about my previous bad experience. I thought that might help, but I made the mistake of not checking my food before leaving. Once home, I opened the box to find another blackened fish, swimming in grease. To make matters worse, the portion size had shrunk, yet they still charged more than before. I’ve had fish and chips from all over, especially in the UK, so I know what good fish and chips should be like—this wasn’t even close. It’s frustrating to see a place consistently screw up the same dish. As much as I hate leaving bad reviews, there’s no excuse for serving such subpar food. I won’t be returning, and I’d recommend saving your money by eating somewhere else!

Just had a really dope experience here with Michael/Bartender. This was I first time visit and it was great. Michael makes a great tequila old-fashioned. The food came faster than my laptop could connect to VPN and it was delicious. I had the cauliflower, wedge salad, tenders, and fries. Can’t wait to return to try the Cuban sandwich. I work in large event Food and beverage so I’m typically reasonable yet judgy. This was a great experience all around.

Atmosphere and service are great. Fried cauliflower was good, could use a hotter sauce. The chicken pesto was ok, the mayo flavor was too strong and the chicken wasn't seasoned before cooking, could have used a little salt, pepper, maybe garlic or at least cook it in a little pesto or onion.

The wings were great, our server, Kenya, was awesome, and the atmosphere was fun and inviting.

Today was our second visit to Wheelhouse Craft Pub and Kitchen in Decatur. The first visit was so yummy, we had to try it again to make sure that this truly is our new favorite lunch spot! The ambiance is great, with low lighting, great but subtle music, and a comfortable pub feeling. We selected our table, per the Seat Yourself sign at the entrance. Staff came over to make sure our table was clean, then our server, Cameron, greeted us and took our drink order. There are plenty of great beers on draft from which to choose, and water arrived with our beer. We had a moment to check out the menu and the daily specials, then Cameron was right there to take our order. Last visit, my husband had their special BLT sandwich and homemade potato chips, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Today he opted for the Wheelhouse Burger with Swiss cheese and bacon, with the homemade potato chips - another hit! He says it was the best restaurant burger he remembers eating! I had the Pesto Chicken sandwich with the Brussels Sprouts side. Both were delicious - again!! Cameron was extremely attentive and friendly, frequently checking back to see if we needed anything. We had plenty of time to enjoy our meal and drinks, and read our books. With great ambiance, delicious food, cold draft beer, and friendly servers all in an easily accessible location, this is a great place for lunch - and also for dinner, if you are in the area. We will be back!

This place was GOOD!! Came in after a long day and it was so nice to come in and try this place while in town. Parking is limited and tight. The seating is all FCFS and open to choose yourself. When we arrived we got the last booth. Lost 1 star due to service but food was fantastic. We shared a few apps and each got a bowl of the leek soup. The cauliflower bites were absolutely delicious and my fav!! I think they would be better with ranch for dipping rather than the sweet chili sauce it comes with. Service was lacking. We had finished eating and sat for a long while before the waiter came back to give the check.

Mark and I came here for the first time because he was craving fish and chips and he found the recommendations on Yelp. Our visit was awesome and we still can't believe that we have never dined here before and it's just 15 minutes from our house. Service was friendly and the food was delicious. The dining area is spacious and clean and it reminded us of pubs that we visited on vacation in the UK. The craft cocktails were delicious and we enjoyed multiple rounds. The fish and chips were hot and crispy and satisfying. My grouper sandwich was blackened and had a delicious spicy flavor. The Macken Cheese Balls were scrumptious and I could have eaten double the order. The evening we dined was a theme night for bingo/trivia and it was fun! We had a great time dining here and we are looking forward to coming back during warmer weather to enjoy the terrace!!

During my bi-weekly visit to Atlanta I wanted to pickup lunch before my 2-hour drive back home and discovered Wheelhouse Craft Pub and Kitchen thanks to Yelp. I made a to go order online, the website was user-friendly and easy to navigate. Regardless of your dietary needs there is something on the menu for carnivores, pescatarians and vegetarians. The selection of food was what you would expect from a pub like fish and chips, burgers, wings, sandwiches and some unusual suspects like crispy cauliflower bites and their house Bean Burger. It was hard to decide on what to order but I settled on fish tacos with a side of Brussel Sprouts. Finding the restaurant was a bit of a challenge, I drove past it the first time and had to loop back around. The sign for the restaurant was faded and their tiny parking lot has a small entrance. When I finally made my way into the quaint parking lot thankfully there were spots available it was 3pm on a Sunday afternoon and they were filling up fast. When I walked in the restaurant to grab my order, the restaurant was cozy and casual. The hostess was friendly and handed me my food shortly after arriving. If I had more time I would have definitely dined in and watched a game. Their patio is dog friendly which is always a plus for us dog lovers on nice days. My food was delicious, the cod tacos were fried to perfection and the Brussel Sprouts were prepared well also. I look forward to coming back and trying other menu items.

Great pub to get a few drinks or even a better place to go for some food. The food is really good here. It's southern bar food, so sandwiches, wings, different potato options things like that. But the menu isn't big, I think places with a smaller menu really specialize and the things they cook. The building isn't huge so maybe a 12 families can sit inside at once (not including bar sitting). They do have good outdoor space but there are no heaters out there so it's only good in the hotter or warmer months. Parking lot isn't huge either so might be best to carpool if you can. The staff and servers are really nice which really helps in the over all experience.

I've always wanted to try this place and boy howdy am I glad I did! Absolutely delicious food!! The waitress was very sweet and attentive. The prices are very reasonable for the portions and flavor. Cute, homey decor inside. The only negative thing is the small parking lot off such a busy road. Still, 10/10 would recommend

Decided to stop in after my friend was craving chicken tenders specifically. Originally she was craving some chicken tenders that she loved from a now closed business so I had to find her a great alternative to satisfy. After a Yelp search and Google run through, i found this and although she was hesitant, I just had that funny feeling I found a gem & indeed I did! It was a stormy night as we are expecting a hurricane and an hour before closing and we still received some of the most patient, attentive, and quick service! The bathrooms are super clean and I could see that they have an outside area which would be nice to sit if weather is nice. We ordered a couple things off the menu and nothing disappointed. Ratings below: Gin Blossom Cocktail: 7/10 (super strong which I loved, but slightly lighter elderflower flavor than I was anticipating) Strawberry Basil Lemonade: 8/10 (really tasty and you could tell it was infused with Basil versus just adding basil for aromatics Chicken Tenders & Fries: 10/10 (so fresh and hot, sauces house made but beware 0.75 charge for all additional sauces) Fish: 10/10 (Great portion, seasoned lightly which is perfect for building flavor with malt vinegar and tartar) Crispy Brussels: 7/10 (10/10 for the cook on them but they lacked a little flavor. Tasted like a light oil & salt taste, but texture made up for it) Loaded Potato: 10/10 (she was loaded, cooked well, and a great price for the size) All in all, we can't wait to go back and try more. Despite it being so close to closing, our server made sure to let us know we were not being rushed out. We of course didn't want to cause her to have to stay any longer so we took the rest to go but definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a friendly, casual, affordable and delicious meal.

Please improve your chicken fingers. They were so overcooked, my 10 year old niece didn't eat them. The cauliflower appetizer is very good. I complained to our server , Cameron, and he could see that they were not being eaten. The restaurant had a suitable decor. Just don't order the chicken tenders.

Wings, beer, and good times! Location and Parking Located in Decatur, parking is free in a small lot right next to the building. If you are seriously craving wings, I suppose you could park at the nearby Walmart and walk over. Venue and Atmosphere The restaurant is on the small side, but spacious enough so that tables are not on top of each other. They do have a small patio as well. The restrooms are cute and very clean. Service Service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. Food and Beverages The wings were bomb. Nuff said. Seriously though, get the hot wings and fries. They are fried to perfection with just enough sauce and the right amount of heat. Verdict I'll be back!

Consistently wonderful food and service. Well seasoned and great portions from their stews to sandwiches. I love their rolls and butter as well. Great to stop by any day for a quick lunch or to indulge in something comforting!

Oh, how we love Wheelhouse! The food is so good! The sauces are always fantastic! And the servers are always great! Especially loved Mandy tonight! We will return. Because it's so good!

I love the ambiance both inside and on the patio and have been wanting to try this place since it opened! Best wedge salad this side of the Mississippi! Service was impeccable. We enjoyed Cameron, our waiter, who was very friendly and attentive. Pricing is very reasonable. I will be back!

I was craving a call it an early day Friday afternoon cocktail and some solid food with a particular craving for a blackened grouper sandwich and man did this place hit the spot. I doubt if I'll ever make their late night hours but will be back for dinner with their expansive menu.

Wheelhouse Pub is ok with me. We stopped in not expecting much but a few decent drinks and some small bites but after looking at other reviews we decided to try the menu. Maken cheese balls for starters, they need salt but they get an A for effort. The fish was cod. A very generous portion fried to perfection, accompanied with fries. The fish tacos were very tasty also. My baked potato could have been a little more "loaded" but all and all no complaints. A small private parking lot is here but I can't help to wonder what the situation is when they get a big crowd. Service was great. Thanks Mandy

Tried this place with a couple of friends. Liked the ambiance, just a nice little neighborhood pub vibe, not too loud, not too quiet. Comfortable seating. Pleasant atmosphere. The parking lot is not very big, but we all found a spot. For food, we started with poutine, which was excellent. I might just get this as my entree the next time. The addition of roast beef was nice and took it up a notch. Two of us got the Cuban with Brussels sprouts. Not the best Cuban I have ever had, but still very good and something I would order again. Really liked have a Brussels sprouts option. They seemed just a tad salty for my tastes, but I ate every one and would have eaten more. Another diner got the Nashville Hot sandwich and said it was excellent. The service was just fine. All in all it was better than expected and worthy of a return trip. Nicely done, Wheelhouse Pub folks!

Everytime I go to Wheelhouse I think to myself dang I need to come here more. Such a great place with a good vibe to it. The inside is a great size, it's not massive and not too small, it's open and bright and they have a bar with multiple TVs. The TVs are noticeable throughout the whole inside but they're not massive and obnoxious looking like a sports bar. Also, in the outside there's a roomy deck with TVs as well. All of the service, food, and drinks from Wheelhouse are amazing! I typically have a beer from their decent sized beer list. Grab some wings or nachos. I've just about tried everything on the menu, if I want an entree I typically get their delicious chicken sandwich.

Came here for trivia night, It was a little odd to have to walk back and forth each question so we didn't actually participate as we were sat outside. The food was really great and the decor was cute. Everything game out quick and tasted great. Would definitely be back!

This place rules! We sat on the patio and had some yummy drinks! I had a cider and a delicious espresso martini. My partner had a gin cocktail called the Gin Blossom, that was great and he ordered two! We started with the deviled eggs which were *chef's kiss* EXCELLENT! We also had the pimento cheese which was honestly a big disappointment. The menu stated that it was served with celery, carrots, cucumbers, and corn tortilla chips. We got some pickles and some very thin, overcooked potato chips. These just didn't go with the pimento cheese and were impossible to dip (they kept breaking). We didn't eat this. Definitely skip this one, and that's coming from a huge pimento cheese fan. On to better news! The poutine that my partner ordered was heavenly. We would come back just for this! I had the Guinness beef stew and it was delicious: really deep flavor and perfectly cooked veggies. It was served with two little rolls that didn't have a lot of flavor but were useful in absorbing the delicious broth! The patio was nice, there were some good tunes rocking on the speakers. Our server was perfect. I wish I had gotten his name. We don't live in the area but if we are ever close by again, we will definitely come back for the eggs, poutine, tasty drinks and ambiance!

In GA visiting - came across this restaurant on Yelp, so happy I did !! The feel/look reminds me of a cute local neighborhood bar. Even though I'm not a local the waiter Joseph made us feel as though we were. He was very friendly and welcoming. The food I mean everything we ordered was freaking delicious. Our order was Nashville chicken sandwich and fish and chips. Anytime I'm in town I'll def stop in again

Add my name to the list of many who think the fish and chips here are outstanding! Wonderful cut of cod with an amazingly delicate crust. The portion is very generous and I really liked their tartar sauce. My wife also enjoyed her Nashville hot chicken sandwich. I had a bite and the spice mix was perfect. The service was excellent and the waiter recommended the poutine for our next visit. See you soon!!

Took a chance on this place with a friend. Had no expectations going in but was hopeful. They were awesome. Staff was extremely friendly. Drinks delicious! I had the pomegranate martini and my friend has the espresso martini. Food was quick and delicious. I will dream of the macken cheese balls. The burger was juicy and my friend enjoyed the pesto sandwich. I will definitely be going back to enjoy the strong drinks, good food and fantastic chill ambiance!

So yummy!! Didn't take any pictures. Had crispy cauliflower bites (perfection). The Cuban with hand made chips and the potato soup with a wedge salad. Everything was delicious. Gabby was an awesome waitress!! Highly recommend! Interior was warm and cozy.

If you have a dog - they have strict pet rules but nothing crazy I ordered the Mac and cheese balls - well they looked good on the pic however they taste like nothing zero flavor and the dipping sauce was super watery smh ughhh I was looking forward to the cheese balls The "if you like piba colada drink" was delicious small portion but delicious The wings were not impressive and the tacos were like Applebees if you get my drift anyways I'll pass ATL has tooo many southern option my dog kinda messes it up for me In conclusion, if you're looking for good food, regular food, you can come here if you're looking for delicious scrumptious food, do not come here Till next time

Ithis has been on my list for way too long Fantastic food They got the brussel sprouts right! It's been a minute because most places over char. They didn't Sure I went healthy with my side. Now I must know about the fries. Got the special blackened group sandwich - so tasty and a little spice . Flavor was on point. Friends got Cuban sandwich (100 percent thumbs up) and potato chowder (same). It was lunch time so we didn't get dessert but I'm curious. Great service! They have a solid parking lot but I wonder if it were busier if it's enough. Atmosphere was cozy. Patio looks great for a lazy sunny day. Add this to your fav list!

Hubby & I tried the Wheelhouse on our way into GA for work. The reviews looked pretty good so we gave it a shot. Our server was awesome & helpful with choices. We chose to sit outside, great choice. The drinks were perfection! I ordered the Arsonist, perfect mezcal taste with jalapeños, just the right amount of spicy. The food left a lot to be desired. I had the Nashville hot chicken & hubby had the fish & chips. If we go back it will be for the atmosphere & the drinks.

Food was outstanding. I had the spicy Nashville Hot chicken with fries and a local brew. Can't say enough about how good the service was and wonderful it was to spend time with such good friends catching up

This place is amazing. This is a stand alone location with a small parking lot but this place is a gem. They have an outdoor patio that is nice. The menu is small but each item is cooked to perfection. I came here twice and was not disappointed. I tried two hybrid beers from their drafts. Hybrids only cost $6.50 but are very tasty. The first visit I got Cuban Sandwich with awesome sauce on the side, and loaded baked potato. The Cuban Sandwich was one of the best I ever had but a little dry. The baked potato was huge and I with it had more toppings. The second visit I got fish and chips with extra tartar sauce. The fish was huge and came in two gigantic pieces. The fries were pretty plain.

Our absolute favorite place in Atlanta! The drinks are good, service is great, and we always love our meals. My go-to are the fish tacos and then have the best fish and chips I've found in the area.

V Cool laid back novel welcoming Decatur pub. Never had a Dublin Mule on tap before, ask barkeep how designed; bar area stood out & different. Miss a classic English Fish n Chips that come w nicely seasoned fries? Go fo it; The Guinness beef stew & crispy cauliflower looked like local favs. Really dug this place; U certainly gets an old school cool Irish pub feel.. .. Crowd certainly leaned to an older, more mature (non frat) age group. Staff v attendant & kind Glad it Yelped me on my trip to Decatur, GA

We ordered takeout from here and the order was made quickly, easy to pick up and super tasty. We ordered chopped salad with Salmon. I would definitely order this again. It's also nice that you can order a whole or 1/2 order. The only thing, for a whole order, it would be nice to have 2 containers of dressing vs just 1. Chicken tenders were yummy and done well. The cauliflower app was done well and super tasty. Brussel sprouts were out of this world... yummy and crispy! We will be back!

Oh my goodness. We love to give positive reviews when they are deserved, and have had some great dining experiences lately. But Gabby provided an absolutely exceptional experience. Such a friendly and professional attitude! And the other servers on the team were also very attentive and paid attention to detail. When was the last time you saw a server put down a dirty dish to come talk to you when you asked for something. Wow. And let's don't forget the awesome food as well. Thank you Wheelhouse, truly appreciate the exceptional customer experience!

Parking: Easy parking in the lot adjacent to the restaurant. I'm sure it can get quite packed during the weekends but there are readily available spots for parking. Food: The food is good! Large portions. Even their kids portions are large. The veggie burger, Nashville hot chicken sandwich, wings, and brussels were all good. The drink menu has a nice variety of beers. Service is SUPER quick. Ambiance: Great local spot for a perfect week night dinner with friends or quick dinner with the family. There is something there for everyone and it is a nice addition to the area!

The atmosphere is super laid back which I love. The service was great but the food was ehh. I ordered deviled eggs, Nashville hot chicken sandwich , fries and dessert. $8 for two eggs. I understand paying for food but that little green decor and tiny splash of paprika isn't worth it. The chicken sandwich was NOT Nashville hot, not ga hot, not HOT at all. It was a chicken sandwich with pimento cheese. The flavor of the cheese was good but the amount was not worth the extra $2 . Atleast put enough on the sandwich. Fries were good and crispy. Dessert was great. I'd go back for dessert and fries lol

This place reminds me of an updated episode of CHEERS. A whole vibe. I went on a Tuesday & had a fun time playing trivia! The questions were kind of hard so I lost poorly lol! The parking is kinda persnickety and limited but there is over flow at Mattress firm across the street. Eve was the bartender and she was on it! Very quick, attentive & kind. I ordered their cauliflower bites and the Paloma to drink! A match made in heaven! I'd go back again if the parking situation got better. I wouldn't cross a busy street after I've had a Paloma anytime soon lol!

Everything is still fantastic from the food to the service and the beautiful atmosphere!! Definitely come by and check it out!

Only ordered Summer Salad consisted mostly of raisins, & few strawberries. I'm accustomed to a variety of fruits. Fried Cauliflower was bland. Beer was almost room temperature. Beer glasses at least mine was not chilled. I ordered Stella on tap. Bar stools are too high. Overall not too bad.

I usually have the fish and chips, but substitute the arugula salad for the chips. The fish is about the best in Atlanta. Crunchy batter, and the fish is not greasy. They allow dogs on the patio, which is great. The service is excellent and the beer is cold. I love coming here.

Service was top notch especially our server, Amos who was able to communicate with us in Sign Language as well as the host, Norman. Ambiance was perfect for a date night with my husband.

Oh My god. This place is amazing. Whoever gave it less than five stars is out of their mind. The service, the food, the ambiance is amazing. I can't believe it took us so long to come here. We've seen it, but never stopped by. We will Definitely be coming back!!
