"Don’t let the bright green hue fool you, this drink is as delicious as it is vibrant. Instead of starting with the typical tequila base, Wheelhouse opts for mezcal to tee off the Kickstarter, followed by poblano juice, pineapple, lime, and cumin bitters. Who knew pineapple would be the perfect accompaniment to smoky mezcal and spicy poblano." - Alaena Hostetter

"Did someone ask for the best cobb salad in Dallas? Wheelhouse delivered with a bowl of greens that are smothered in a tangy buttermilk dressing, and topped with chicken, tomato, bacon, avocado, egg, and blue cheese crumbles. This salad is so delightfully rich, it’s a meal on its own." - Alaena Hostetter, Rachel Pinn

"This American joint in the Design District fulfills patrons deepest desires for sipping craft beers or expertly made cocktails in an upscale setting. TVs in the bar area will satisfy game-watching needs, or gather round the large projection screen suspended at the far end of the dog-friendly patio for an al fresco experience that’s on point." - Alaena Hostetter

I hosted a birthday brunch here for my best friend's birthday. The manager, Laurie, was easy to work with and responsive. The staff was ready for our group and let me come in early to decorate, even helped hang décor on the wall. Sydney, our waitress, was patient as our group arrived in shifts, and had no problem delivering the cocktail specials to shift. We ordered appetizers, several rounds of cocktails, and a main course- each was absolutely delicious and fresh. The Gold Rush was my favorite cocktail, I highly recommend it if you like bourbon. The staff was gracious enough to keep our large cakes in their walk in fridge and served it free of charge. There is also complimentary valet. I highly recommend checking Wheelhouse out, great food and great service.

I liked their brunch menu, even though the selection is pretty basic. The brisket breakfast tacos were very good and my friends got the shrimp and grits, which were pretty good as well. We got the roasted eggplant dip as an appetizer too and it was awesome!

A cool spot, hidden in the Design District. The menu is fairly broad. Lots of flavors displayed throughout, and the food definitely reflected it. My experience was pretty good, but not extraordinary, and that's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. I may come back, but only because I live walking distance and it's aesthetically pleasing. May even be worthy of 4.5 stars but that isn't an option. Definitely check it out and form your own opinion!

O yea... Not a bad place at all. Great food and good selection of drinks. Worth a try.

We stopped by here because we couldn't find parking where we intended to go. Though everything was great from the food and drinks to the service I couldn't give it five stars for the lack of selections on the food menu. We went dissatisfied in the least.

Great service. I have never been asked by so many tiers of employees how everything was going. The food was fast and delicious.

Everything was good! Burger was juicy, fries were crispy, tacos were full of flavor. Check them out! I will be back to explore the menu in more detail

Really great place. Great staff. Really good food. The cheeseburger was amazing! Good drinks. Best fries. And fair prices.
