"The signature bumper car-based game, bowling alley, and laser tag arena make WhirlyBall a hit for parties, but groups should be sure to step outside onto the rooftop and decompress after an intense match by sitting on one of the couches surrounding the fire pits. Relax with a craft beer and pub grub like wings, sliders, or street tacos before challenging the group to another round of fun." - Samantha Nelson

Came here for a small office team building and we did the Whirlyball. It was a lot of fun for everybody. It made everybody pretty equal as far as skill in scoring. We had several appetizers and drinks. All were good and our team had a good time . Large parking lot , clean restrooms and friendly staff. Great place to bring a group!

My friends and I had a blast! We were a group of eight - the price seemed reasonable for a bigger group like ours. We had the best time. The facility is very well maintained with great selection of food and drinks. We only did the whirlyball but hoping to do other stuff soon. Will be great for families and team building events, alike.

I’ve been here a number of times and have always had a good time! This time I came for a birthday to play Lazer tag and there was some disconnect where we ended up only playing 15 of the 30 minutes paid for. I went up to the desk and spoke with Ryan. He was amazing and so kind, he was able to help us reschedule a new session and get our full playing time. Ryan would be the reason I’d recommend this place for events or just fun times with friends.

Google
Only reason I gave it a two because the prices for a kid just ridiculous 25.00 for a child to bowl it should be 1/2 the adult price We all had a good time food delicious everyone enjoyed themselves ,but wasn't happy with the price I don't think my party will be going back ,unless those prices be adjusted to more affordable ,if you have 5 kids it's like paying way too much on an outing for someone Birthday ! .

Google
What a blast! Visited for the first time ever for a birthday party group. While a machine or two broke on us and we couldn't play the full amount of people per round, it was great fun. Food "buffet style" was pretty good, and the drinks were also extremely affordable. Lester was a fantastic server and really checked in on all of our party quite often and kept the drinks coming! Great experience - great for a special birthday party of any age.

Google
Great time and decent price if your group is big enough! Nice drink selection too! Lots of large TVs to be able to keep up with the latest sports. We didn't do any bowling but the lanes looked nice! Great space, lots of room to move!

Google
Fun and amazing place. The whirly ball game was a blast. It is the great equalizer, no advantage to being big or small or short or tall. The game is easy to learn and so much fun to play.

It was my first time, I love bumping cars, basketball and beer so I thought this is the best place I can find all of them in one place. It was so much fun to play whirlyball. You play in two teams, maximum of 10 people in total. The place and staff are awesome. It has a parking lot, lots if space inside and 2 whirlyball areas as well as bowling, lasertag and pingpong tables.

Yelp
My company celebrated its 50th anniversary at the whirlyBall again with Centurion Catering providing delicious food for everyone. I had a wonderful time seeing some coworkers haven't seen since my ordeal. There were over 300 invitees. The event was overcrowded but there was enough space for all to mingle. The band was a bit loud for my taste and I noticed people giving the "huh?' sign during conversations. Overall, the event was a success, and we were all grateful for the event organizer, our company, and the caterer. There is no doubt that we will continue to hold events at WhirlyBall.

Yelp
Attended a team building event at WhirlyBall; the staff was amazing..the food and lack of preparedness was not. We ordered heavy apps, there was a long wait to be served then the food immediately changed which made it clear they ran out and weren't prepared for our prescheduled event. Food was missing, we asked the wonderful wait staff who said nothing else was ordered. The Coordinator produced the email with what was ordered, it was just awful. Frozen foods, nothing fresh except the salad. Each time food came out there were different foods because they were not prepared to accommodate our party, yet we had a reservation. Two stars are for the nice staff that served our group; it wasn't their fault.

Yelp
We booked this place for a family Bowling and WhirlyBall outing. It was a blast. Nachos were OK but service was a little slow. My biggest complaint was the way they charge for bowling with the lanes shutting down as soon as your hour is up. We got a line and 3/4's done. Hard to figure out who was the winner without the second complete game. Whirlyball was a blast and that's why I rated this place a 4. Whirlyball alone would be a 5. An attendant has to watch to make sure we are safe and make sure the scoring is registering correctly. Our attendant was watchful and had some tips for ups. Lots of fun, lots of parking, clean fun environment.

Yelp
Our night at this sports bar was nothing short of amazing. We kicked it off with a thrilling game of Whirly Ball, enjoyed a fantastic selection of beers and cocktails, and were blown away by the attentive service. The cocktails were bit on the sweeter side. We tried summer living and margarita. Summer living is somewhat better than other cocktails. The server was a true star. Handling a party of 17 isn't easy, but he managed it flawlessly, ensuring everyone's needs were met with a smile I had so much fun playing Whirly Ball with friends. It's the perfect activity for a group looking for some exciting, fast-paced entertainment The staff at Whirly Ball were friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. They explained the rules well and ensured everyone's safety. The black cars are a little slower than the red ones. Beyond Whirly Ball, this sports bar has so much more to offer. We had a blast with bowling and laser tag - I highly recommend giving the laser tag a shot. It's an absolute blast If you're looking for a great time with friends, this sports bar has it all. Whirly Ball, bowling, laser tag, and an incredible bar selection make it a must-visit spot

Yelp
I came here for a work event! I had a great time from Whirley ball to bowling. I had the Caesar salad, pretzel nuggets, and sliders. The Caesar salad was my favorite but everything was super tasty. The staff was very welcoming and attentive asking us if we need anything. Would be a very cute date spot or fun outing with friends.

Yelp
"As the project manager at my company, I was tasked with organizing our 25th anniversary party, and I wanted to go all out with something truly fun and memorable. I chose Whirlyball, and let me tell you, they were absolutely dynamite! We had a party of over 100 people, including families and children, and Whirlyball was able to accommodate everyone seamlessly. The service was amazing, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. The games were a blast, and it was the perfect mix of fun and competition. I would highly recommend Whirlyball to anyone looking to host an unforgettable event. It was a total hit!"

Yelp
Had a great team building event on a Thursday afternoon. They open at 2pm apparently, I was the first customer run the expansive building so I got a great opportunity to check out the venue. It is definitely huge, with three whirly ball courts (5 on 5), bowling, and laser tag. Lots of tvs so it's a great place to check out any games playing. For birthday party packages I thought the pricing was decent. (min 10 persons) and includes food. $25 per guest (Bowling), $30 for whirly ball, $35 for laser tag. Upstairs is plenty of space for hosting a wedding, group outing, or meeting for 100 + guests with its own separate bowling, area. A nice sized balcony deck for drink reception and its own bar area. There are also three smaller bday party room that hold probably 20-30 guests each if absolutely maxed out. We had some pizzas and I thought they were pretty solid. Crispy crust pan pizzas that held. Their chopped salad was fab, a bit overdressed but it was very yummy, lots of texture. The game of whirly ball was fun. We get 10 mins per game, and I think packages are usually for about 1-1.5 hours depending. I think we probably should have eaten first and then played because we wasted a good amount of our court time eating and drinking. I'll definitely come back for a party. It's different and a great place to catch a game. Full bar service and a gigantic parking lot. (Think it was formerly the Illinois Emissions testing site).

Yelp
This place was so much fun! We went here to celebrate a friend's birthday. The whirlyball game is such a nice twist on the traditional dashing carts. We even played laser tag and bowling. The instructions were very clear before each game. Our server was so amazing! We were a huge party but yet he was patiently taking our orders and even remembered who had ordered what. We tried the fries, gutter balls, guac and chips, caprese pizza, wild shroom pizza, and the chicken pizza. They even removed the cheese on one of the pizzas for our vegan friend. The ambience is typical of a gaming place, but a bit on the nicer side. We also tried a bunch of different beers and cocktails. Overall, a great experience and great outing for a large group to celebrate an occasion.

Nisha B.

Yelp
Cute, spot. This is a great spot for group activities like work events. We played whirlyball. Each game lasts for 2 rounds. It like your in bumper cars that you manually control, and you have to catch a whiffle like ball in hockey stick pockets. We had fun playing! Then we had a bunch of apps and drinks before our next move They also have bowling lanes and plenty of space to eat and drink. Im sure there was more, but I was just enjoying the company of my friends and not really looking around all too much

Yelp
Great spot for games and hangouts, crazy nice staff and great vibes all around. Come and play some laser tag or bowl here.

Bianca R.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place!! Have hosted many friend events here and have even done a whirlyball league. The food and drink selection is great. Staff is always friendly and willing to help! Great for adult birthday parties as well as kids!

Yelp
I haven't been to Whirly ball in years! I was so excited to stop by today and play laser tag. This is my first time at this new location in Chicago and i l had a ball!! First stop was the bar of course. My bar tender Joseph took care of my friend and me. He made us a few drinks and even recommended a few we had never tried. Let's just say....I have a new drink lol. Next we played laser tag! It was so much fun. I thought i was killing it but I really wasn't . Instead I was getting killed. Next stop was bowling. I'm not the best at bowling but for some reason I was amazing tonight. I ended up winning by one point but who's counting. The manager Tamiyah came by and to check on all guest to see how if we needed anything. She was very attentive and sweet. That I can appreciate. The food was tasty. We had parmesan wings which where a hit. You must try them. I will surely be back on the weekend for some fun.

Yelp
This is sucha cool place to hangout with large groups! We visited this place on a Friday night to celebrate a friend's birthday and pretty much explored all the fun activities they had to offer! We tried WhirlyBall, which is a mixture of basketball and dashing car (I guess!), Laser Tag, as well as Bowling. Each and every activity was so much fun, the instructions were pretty detailed and everything was organized very nicely. We also ordered a bunch of appetizers and drinks. They have a huge variety of beer options, cocktails were a bit sweeter than regular, however, not too surprised as I wasn't expecting the cocktails to be that flattering considering it is an amusement center serving food and drinks as well. We ordered a lot of food - Fries, cheese curds, guacamole and chips, chicken wings, mushroom pizza. They don't have a lot of Vegan options but they can customize the food for you which I appreciated! It is a great place if you have a huge party, we were a party of 17 and the place could easily accommodate us and we all had a gala time! Will definitely be back to enjoy fun activities again!

Yelp
I was here for a company event and we had a blast. Our servers Emerson and Sebby(?) we're amazing and so thoughtful. We had a blast!

Yelp
Super shady business practices. Avoid unless you want to get scammed. We were visiting from out of town with a group of nine and wanted to reserve an hour of WhirlyBall. Over the course of EIGHTEEN (18) emails with Brooklyn, she refused to confirm if we would have to pay an $18 per guest food/beverage minimum or give us a total cost for our group. i.e. they will nebulously refer to the game cost, this tax, that tax, a service charge, etc. but cannot give you a straight answer on what the total will be when it's time to pay your bill - because there will be surprise charges. Do not trust or support this business.

Yelp
DO IT. PLAN A WHIRLYBALL NIGHT. You won't regret it!! Such a fun and unique activity for a group of friends! There was lots of yelling and laughing and flailing (also some skilled passes but not from me). If you didn't know, whirlyball is like lacrosse in bumper cars. It's chaotic and amazing. We came here to celebrate my friend's Master's defense, and we had a group of 7. We came on a Tuesday night around 6:15 and we were able to get a court immediately! We each paid $15 for 30 minutes of whirlyball time. We got a court to ourselves, which had 10 cars. A referee comes to give instructions and then they sit in a little room near the ceiling where they call the shots and keep score. It was SO fun. The bumper cars were not so hard to navigate once you get the hang of it! Each game is about 10 minutes long so we played 3 games, which felt like the perfect amount of time! The staff were friendly, the space was clean, and it's a great atmosphere overall. There's a bar and other activities like laser tag. They have a large beer selection and a variety of bar food. The location is in Bucktown so it's near a lot of other restaurants and fun activities. Even better, it has its own parking lot where you can park for free! I'll definitely be back! What a fun night!

Kwality T.

Yelp
The food was definitely. I had the Panini Grilled Cheese with a Caesar Salad. Both were nothing less than excellent and very fair prices for food and drink. Our waiter was named Noah a very great person. He checked to see if everything was fine several times before and even after the meal. The management team was amazing they also checked with every table to make sure things were fine. The view was amazing, the lighting was perfect. They also had a live band "The Trio" who really set the mood. If your available on a Tuesday night come out and support.

Larry R.

Yelp
This venue is perfect for socializing with a group of friends as it offers a pleasant atmosphere that is conducive to having conversations. Additionally, you have the choice to enjoy activities such as playing pool or bowling. The drink and food menu is varied and satisfying. The spacious layout makes it easy to accommodate a large group of people.

Katherine G.

Yelp
Bowling and playing whirlyball for my partner's 40th birthday was an absolute blast. The reception team exceeded our expectations by arranging for our two groups to have adjacent lanes. The serving staff, both at the bar and circulating to assist, were exceptional, despite the high volume of customers. Our dedicated server, Mercedes, was outstanding in ensuring the smooth transition of our lively group throughout the venue. I highly advise giving this place a try! Oh, and their beer variety is simply delightful.

Peter P.

Yelp
This was so much fun. I lived in a suburb north of Chicago for years but never came here for some reason. It's like playing lacrosse in bumper cars. You rent a court by the hour and you have to have at least 4 people to play (it wouldn't be very much fun playing one on one or two on one, would it?) up to a maximum of ten people. After getting a brief intro from the scorekeeper (who watches from a window high above the court), you play 5 and 10-minute matches with the opportunity to switch teams after every match. If Whirlyball isn't your thing (you actually get a bit of a workout steering the cars around) or if you have kids who are too short to play there are also lanes for bowling and a laser tag arena.

Samantha C.

Yelp
A great place to hang out with a larger group of friends (for a birthday celebration, corporate event, or just because gathering)! 8 of us reserved 1 hour of WhirlyBall on a Sunday afternoon and it came out to be around $34.00 per person. You cannot make a reservation online. You will need to call to make a reservation and sign a contract/pay for the reservation to confirm the event. Super formal process! In addition to Whirlyball, they have bowling, large Jenga, shuffelboard, ping pong, etc. It is nice that they have an ample amount of parking as well!

DeAnna P.

Yelp
I'm surprised the reviews aren't higher for this place. We had a fabulous time. The prices were very reasonable and the food was tasty. We loved whirlyball. It was much more athletic than I was expecting (maybe because I'm crazy competitive). All of us were sweating by the end.

Siao W.

Yelp
Unprofessional management. Called multiple times to arrange for a party to include laser tag, bowling and whirlyball. "Jessica" instructed us to book the party with laser tag and bowling and to add on the whirly ball. We agreed to her instructions. Come party day, they tell us that whirlyball isn't on our contract and we can't book. There is no other reason to have a party here if there is no whirlyball. The manager was rude and unapologetic. Basically ruined what should have been a celebratory event.

Emily L.

Yelp
We selected Whirly Ball to celebrate my son's birthday. I was deeply disappointed with the way that our reservation was handled, especially by the lack of concern from the management. I would not use this location again for a reservation for a special event. It is expensive and the experience did not match the price.

Dodger A.

Yelp
Even though this is a game with some aspects of basketball and lacross, the game is played while driving bumper cars. How FUN! However, these bumper cars are NOT like the ones at say Six-Flags. Since you will be playing a 5 on 5 game, the cars are very different. This can also function as a team building experience. The facility is clean and the experience is one to remember. I will be retrning.

Sandy M.

Yelp
Managers (Raul, Tamya Flowers andTom) are absolutely rude. They shouldn't be in a customer service industry if they don't know how to act when they are wrong. Long story short, my friend ordered wings and paid cash. Staff gave wings to the wrong table and they were not able to refund him or give him another order. They didnt want to check cameras and Tamya came with an attitude and gave us a DSM business card and took off. When we asked for her name at the front desk she came out and threw her business card at us. That's ridiculous!

Leslie M.

Yelp
We made a reservation for 7 people at 11am on a Saturday. We booked an hour session and the price was roughly $275 bucks. I think if we would have had more people we wouldn't have enjoyed it as much since the room is so small. I think 6 people is optimal. We had a blast playing Whirlyball. All of us were super competitive, crashing into each other every chance we got. Be aware - you will definitely get whiplash and bruises from this activity especially if you hit someone head on. My knees were scraped and bruised. They make you sign a waiver of course. They can definitely improve in the following areas: 1. turn on the AC - it was hot as balls in that room 2. one of the backboards didnt work so score wasn't correct 3. the staff needs to pay attention to the customers in the room 4. one of the black cars had sparks coming off of it - not sure how safe that is

Jane V.

Yelp
Have been here twice this year for different events. One was for their open house and one was for their Christmas in July event. WhirlyBall is a place where adults can act like kids again. Not only can you play WhirlyBall (similar to basketball played in bumper cars), but, you can bowl, play video games as well as larger versions of popular board games. You can also relax, have a drink and watch sports on their many large screen TVs, and have a bite to eat. If you have an event or special occasion such as birthdays, meeting, team events, etc. This is a One-Stop location. They can also arrange to cater food for you, which runs from Pizza, burgers, beef sandwiches to all kinds of sweets. They have their own parking lot and there is street parking available on the side of the building. Such a fun evening for everyone!

Len L.

Yelp
Had a chance to attend a private birthday party here at WB which was hosted on the second floor. Signs are up for Corvid such as required mask and 6' distance awareness. Good to see that there are plenty of hand sanitizers available for everyone. Second floor seems to be dedicated for parties and a smaller bowling area (which was closed). The only thing open on the second floor was laser tag which less than 25 people can play together. The area was hot and humid, no air conditioning. There is a small area along the play area where you can watch during play. I had to leave the room to get some fresh air. The bar area was closed but was able to sit on the tables. Plenty of parking.

Rosy L.

Yelp
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Look at all the one star reviews. They're there for a reason. I NEVER leave one star reviews but the experience I had tonight was ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. 1: I had emailed 3 weeks in advance to book an event but was told I couldn't because you need a beverage minimum. Sure fine ok that's fair. They told me to call 7 days in advance. So I call a week before and somehow most of the times are already booked? I refuse to believe that there are that many giant private events going on here where people are paying for the food and beverage but whatever, that wasn't that big of a deal. 2. I call a week in advance and book my event. Literally sent over a contract that says it's MY event. Booked an hour of laser tag and an hour of whirly ball. I couldn't get my original requested time because someone booked online as I was on the phone. You'd think because of that they don't double book anything right? Well no. Because I show the day of with 17 friends that were clearly stated in the contract for laser tag and there are 10 other strangers there? Absolutely not. It MAY have been ok if they had enough vests to accommodate all of us, considering we all paid $25 for people to play THE FULL HOUR but no. When we asked, they said they only can accommodate 18 people at a time and we would have to switch off. LIKE WTF??? You charge that much and expect to switch off with random people we don't even know??? Why the hell would you book more than 18 people from 2 DIFFERENT PARTIES for the same time knowing that you can't accommodate that many people? The other party was also PISSED which is completely reasonable and they offered a very reasonable request which was to simply give them a refund for their booking. Totally fair right? They refused. Something as simple as that they couldn't even do. And it was one of the girl's 30th birthday. 3. We ask for the manager. She comes out and we tell her that we SIGNED A CONTRACT for this event. She LIES TO US and tells us that the contract says that laser tag is open to the public. She goes back in the office to "see what she can do" and then doesn't come back for 30 min. In the meantime, I check the contract and NOWHERE does it say that random people can be added to my party. She straight up LIED to our faces about a CONTRACT. Like if I wanted to, I can sue. After a bit of her just disappearing, she offered to refund us 30 min of laser tag that was lost, but honestly our entire event should've been free with the shit they tried to pull. And if they could refund our time, why couldn't they refund the other group??? SO MUCH SHADY CRAP THEY PULLED. Not to mention one of my friends had come here before and got charged twice and for another groups drinks, and they couldn't do anything about it?

PJ O.

Yelp
Was hard pressed to find a server at the start of our bowl time. At the end of it, after ordering a ton of food and drinks, we were bum rushed off the lane, even while putting on our shoes. When you're with little kids, this is really unacceptable behavior for a local business.

Katherine C.

Yelp
First, we are asked to tip the staff at the start of the event, which is unfair as our server was tipped and then provided very little service with an unfriendly attitude. The check-in staff and referee were excellent. Second, after eating we went upstairs to play laser tag and were placed in a group with 22 kids aged 8-10 years old. Several of the parents were asking if we were going to be included in the group as they felt it was unsafe for 8 adults to be with their kids. The young man checking people in stated this is a common problem and management really does not care. That is exactly true. We went downstairs and told the manager that the parents did not want us in the same group as the small kids may get hurt. At first, we were told we would be refunded the amount and then ten minutes later we were told we would not be refunded the amount because our contract indicated there would be other people in the group. By this time, it was too late to join the kids and we no longer felt comfortable trying to join them as the parents felt uncomfortable. We had 4 people that drove over an hour to join us for this celebration and do not regularly come to Chicago. The coupon that was given to us is useless as they will not be driving over an hour each way to play laser tag for 30 minutes. We spent over $1000.00 on the day with the contract charges, whirlyball, food and drink purchases. It was not our fault that the parents did not feel comfortable with 8 adults joining a group of little kids. The company knew the ages of all the people involved as it is on all the releases you fill out in advance. I do not blame the parents for feeling uncomfortable. We contacted the contract specialist we were working with and received no response. We then asked for a manager to contact us and received no response. They are only interested in talking with you before they get your money. They are non-responsive when an issue comes up.

Willis L.

Yelp
Came with a bunch of friends on my visit to Chicago, and I definitely think this is a must-do for any groups that aren't from the Midwest! Sure, go visit the Bean and take a boat tour, but if you have a group this is a great thing to do ;while on your trip. It was a load of fun and nonstop laughing and competition for my group of 10. The place has a bowling alley and pool tables as well. One minus star because the staff really don't feel like they want to be there. I understand it's late in the day, but really being a ref means you ought to at least be watching the game. A lot of our missed shots got counted as points or didn't get counted just based on whether the buzzer went off or not.

Rozalynn B.

Yelp
I planned a birthday event here on a Saturday evening. I've been wanting to come here for like 4yrs now. My bf & I had been trying to call these people for about a week! 2 days prior to my event Bella reached out to me by phone and of course by then the reservation times for bowling lanes & whirleyball was slim. Let's talk about the prices! WOWZERS: $250 an hr for whirley ball & $85 an hr per lane for bowling! You pay half upfront & sign a contract. After a certain time you must be 21yrs old to enter. We all ordered food & drinks while we played games. The food wasn't that great. They did offer either a group bill or separate check options which was cool. Atmosphere is cool & fun for a date night or group setting. We had a server which was really cool & accommodating. I ended up with 12 guests and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Jacqueline F.

Yelp
Whirlyball is a great place for large groups, both young and old alike. This place is huuuuge. Definitely a big upgrade from the old location that used to be on Damen & Fullerton. There are 2 floors of various activities to choose from. The first floor has your main bowling alley and 2 whirlyball courts. You can rent your bowling shoes here and pick out the size of your bowling ball. There are about 7 bowling lanes available. And they have "bumpers" available for the lanes if you have little ones bowling. For those that do not know what whirlyball is, imagine yourself driving a bumper car at the amusement park or carnival. Now imagine yourself equipped with a lacrosse type stick, but shorter, and you have to throw a whiffle ball with this stick to a backboard similar to the one in basketball. The only thing different about this backboard is that there is no rim, and there is no net. Just a giant bullseye that you have to shoot your whiffle ball at in order to get some points. There are a total of 2 teams on the court, consisting of 5 players. The team that scores the most points in 10 min wins! Its an awesome game!! On the 2nd floor, lazer tag is available. In the lazer tag arena, you are free to battle it out with your opponent on 2 levels - a lower level and an upper level. Try running around that place in heels! Its a great workout for your calves. One negative critique about the lazer tag area is that it smelled so bad in the room where you put on your equipment. It smelled like straight B.O up in that place. I wasnt sure if it was a specific person, or if they just needed to disinfect their equipment, but it was strong. Once i got out of that room all was well with the smell. Another activity available on the 2nd floor is a private bowling alley with a little party room available. How cool is that? There is also a party room with just tables and chairs where you can host a private party and order some food. We had pizza, salad, chicken wings, some type of sushi on a spoon, and dessert of chocolate molten lava cake/cookie thingamajig. Food was actually good! Keep in mind that for larger parties, make sure you reserve your time slot for the whirlyball court, and pay a down payment to hold your spot. Other than that, wear something thats breathable as you will sweat alot, wear comfy shoes, and have a great time!

Yelp
Was here for a party this past weekend. There was so much confusion with lasertag it was absurd. The guys running it had no idea what they were doing. This involved taking our packs off, recharging them and going back and forth. It is like they literally read a training manual 5 min before we came (and I think I knew more than they did!) Also, there was zero enthusiasm. You ask a question and they just stare at you. Don't book laser tag as a package!

Yelp
Attended a kids birthday party here. At first I was impressed, as I was greeted in a friendly and professional manner by all first floor staff members. The space is huge and the kids had fun playing laser tag. However, the staff running the party room really changed the experience. They showed no enthusiasm, gossiped amongst themselves throughout (ignoring the party), and literally started cleaning up the table in a way to indicate it was time to leave (removing table cloths and wiping the table) at least 8 minutes before time was up. It was very rude. The party is only in the room for 30 minutes, so 8 minutes is a big chunk of that time. Other parents and I were just appalled. Now let me tell you, the place was empty, so this wasn't necessary for the next party, this was just young workers showing that they don't care about their customers.

Yelp
Came here for a friend's birthday party around noon on a Saturday. Whirlyball was fun, it gets your adrenaline going and gets people's competitive sides out. Also, it's a game that's kinda hard to be good at, so it helps evens the playing field. We barely knew anyone else at the party, so having the shared experience of high energy whirlyball helped keep the conversation going. The waiter was prompt, the drink menu is big, and we had pizza which was average, but what do you expect. Overall a fun experience, seems like a good place for families as well as big groups like.

Yelp
Poor experience for our first time going to WhirleyBall. We got our bowling lane and shoes quickly. But trying to get a drink or a server was an act of god. We had to actually stop a someone and ask if we needed to go to the bar or if someone would help us. We finally got something to drink after being there for 45 minutes. We were enjoying our game and had about 40 minutes left, when an employee asked us to move from lane 3 to lane 5 because they had a large party. But instead of asking the people to move off lane five he just walked away. Leading us to believe we had to, which is not the job of a customer. So we just decided to leave. They also need to fix their machines on the lane. Ours was leaving a pin out of every game. I would not recommend this place. We will definitely be using a different bowling alley.

Yelp
Came here for the first time with family from out of town, the service is terrible and the workers look like they don't want to be here or help at all. When we first walked in and checked in, the lady in the front wanted us to walk over to get a referee, there was about 9-10 "referees" standing at the other counter just talking to each other instead of helping us. We played Whirlyball and our "referee" wasn't even paying attention at all and had an attitude when he was giving us the instructions as well as when he had to give us a new ball. He also didn't pay attention when we were playing and we had to keep reminding him to change/add the score. It was honestly a terrible experience and we were so excited to be there. The game itself was still very fun but the experience with the service and the attendant that was helping us ruined the experience. I get that sometimes we have bad days but we are just trying to have a good time with our family from out of town. All the attitude from the attendants ruined it for us. I know that Covid is still here and it's hard to provide for ourselves and our families and having a job is a luxury but if you don't want to be there or you're having such a bad day you have to spread your attitude towards the guests that PAY to be there then maybe take the day off or find a different job that maybe you enjoy a little More. I hope you guys train your workers to be more personable or even just have a little bit of customer service experience so that people don't feel like their whole experience is ruined because of ugly attitudes.

Yelp
I took my kids here for his birthday party. The customer service was not as I expected but at least my son and his friends enjoyed their time here

Yelp
I had intramural bowling here a few months ago and I have to say the food is pretty underrated. Since it's a chain, I assumed that the food would be meh, but it is actually very good! They have an awesome happy hour where they have $5 pretzel bites and chicken quesadillas and some drink specials. They also have a massive craft beer list as well. I've played whirlyball here before and it's fun. The bowling alley is in good shape and the place is huge. Service is ok. Overall, a cool concept!

Yelp
Majestic. Loyal. Devoted. These are just a few of the words I would use to describe our server, Noah, who helped us get set up for several games of WhirlyBall before our fantasy football draft. Stop scrolling and go ahead and pull the trigger on this place for your next outing with the boys -- you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
BEWARE: This company will steal your money, 3 months later and I'm still struggling to get a refund. They keep wanting to reschedule instead of just giving me a refund for a mistake THEY made. Make sure that if you decide to do business with these people, you run the risk of them keeping your money after not providing you services.

Yelp
I would give this zero stars if I could. I am an event planner trying to plan 6 events this year (2023) in Chicago. I was working with a wonderful woman who was helping me with my planning and I put it on hold to finish up another event I had to attend. When I came back, I was told I would be working with a man called Jonathon. He wouldn't call me back or answer emails. One time I called and was told he was in the bathroom and he'd get right back to me, she promised; nothing. What a shame as our events usually run between $5,000 - $8,000 per event. We never even got a chance to try the place!

Yelp
We came to Whirlybsll not knowing what to expect. But five minutes in, everything changed -- thanks to the grace, service, and queer magic of our server Noah. Noah SERVED: lirerally but also emotionally and spiritually. they will forever be in our hearts! thanks Noah and the Whirlyball team for an awesome experience!

Yelp
MANAGEMENT STOLE MY CASH! I went and paid off food in cash and was told they would deliver it to my food. They delivered the food to the wrong table and told me later that the kitchen had closed so they were unable to serve my food. I asked for a refund and their answer was that the cash register was closed. That is not my problem so I waited for a solution by management. Minutes passed and then Raul says that I never paid for the food. The bartender was saying that I did pay her in cash but he was saying different. I told him to check the cameras and he will see me handing the bartender cash. Then tamya who I guess is the manager refused to resolve the issue. Her response is that me and my party had to leave because it was closing time. She was in a hurry to get out of work instead of trying to resolve the problem. I don't care about not getting my refund but I do care about how management did not do anything to resolve the problem. At the end, the bartender offered to give me the money out of her own pocket! That is very unacceptable and that just shows how tamya and Raul treat their employees. The bartender started to burst in tears when she insisted in giving me her money. Please do not go to that place people as long as tamya and Raul are 'running' that place.

Yelp
Came for the whirly ball, left with a busted knee. Turns out, the cart I used had NO seatbelt, and NO brakes. The brakes were welded into the cart, and the seatbelt was missing! When I got hit, I flew off the cart, but I was caught by the bad steering handle, which hit my knee. Horrible experience.

Yelp
Came here to chaperone my sons school trip. Lester our server was so sweet and so attentive. He made our experience so memorable. I could not have asked for a kinder man. Fantastic customer service skills. It meant alot to us. Great Job!!!
