First time attending baking class - to be specific sourdough. Kitchen is pretty spacious and clean. It was a lot of information are being shared in the class that it ran longer than schedule (originally schedule from 10 to 1 but we did not finish close to 2). Really glad that I attended as I learn better with visual. Brought home 2 loaf of sourdough, a chocolate cookies and also was not aware that lunch was provided with beverage. Really good experience for my first time.

Got to experience the May 2025 Tex Mex cooking class and had a fun time as a group of 3. The class was at the back of the storefront in a very well set up teaching environment. I appreciated the drinks available (albeit limited selections) and overall the food portions (once cooked) were reasonable. This definitely requires more attention/focus than some other cooking class options in the area, but engaging for sure.

I was so excited to try a cooking class here. I bought a Macaron baking class for my mom and I. When we arrived, we were impressed with the kitchen store products. Such a beautiful store with great merchandise. Great place to get a special gift. On the other hand, the cooking class was a major fail. Our macarons were burnt and dry. The chef seemed very unorganized and we were sharing ovens with other groups of people. It was run sloppy in our opinions. When I called the owner to share my experience, I was told it was being worked on only to receive a 50% discount in my email on the next class. What makes me want to go back? Should’ve fully refunded everyone or offered us a makeup class. I no longer recommend this place for cooking, only a great kitchen shop. Edit after response from store: Yes, it was 6 months ago but my feedback is still valid. If ovens were having an issue, why was my class not cancelled or rescheduled?

The street foods class was top notch - perfect mix of culinary delights and fun mix of kitchen skills. We enjoyed it so much we are planning to return for the knife skills 🔪 class in a couple months. Chef Drew was a great teacher and kindly took the time to give advice to an aspiring chef after the class was over.

This place knows exactly how to teach a cooking class. They are amazing and all of the staff especially Christine and Barbara took care of us at every moment. We made pappardelle with pork shoulder and Apple crostata - both were very tasty. We'll be back there soon!

I participated in the Pate a Choux class on Sunday, the 20th. In this class there were only 5 of us so the chef and staff were able to give lots of attention to everyone. At the end I had plenty of leftover eclairs, cream puffs, and gougeres to take home and share with others. While I have no illusions of becoming a pastry chef I really enjoyed the experience and I am looking forward to doing another class.

Took the Steak Night Classics class last night with Chef Barbara and it was a roaring success! The staff were so friendly, the kitchen modern and clean, and the owners also were around to make us feel welcome. We made onion rings, New York strips, and a No-Bake cheesecake. You can look at the pictures to get an idea of the final product. Honestly, fantastic course and I will be signing up for their cooking basics courses in January. You also get a 15% discount for in-store purchases if you take a class, so I walked away with a new 8' Wusthof knife as well.

Drew Flanders is CHEF! I was initially hesitant to take the jambalaya cooking class due to the price, but I came away feeling like I got much more than I paid for! I was shocked and delighted by the holistic experience that included scrumptious cocktails, historical education, storytelling, and of course, the best jambalaya I've ever had. And I cooked it myself (sort of)! I learned about black eyed peas, different schools of cornbread, and even how to cut an onion. I strongly recommend to anyone who is looking for a fun new experience to spice up their relationship with food. Thanks, Chef Drew. Thanks, Whisk!

Yelp
We had an incredible class at Whisk! We made Spanish tapas. The kitchen itself is beautiful and perfectly laid out for the entire class. We received a bottle of wine between the two of us to start, and received lessons in making croquettes, scallops, and chorizo sausage. One of the best lessons I learned was to oil the food instead of the pan when you can - way less oil splashing around! The classes aren't inexpensive, but we'll definitely come back when we fancy a class!

Yelp
Fun Sunday night date night! Chef Barb kept it fun and exciting. We learned new trick and won't eat dry pasta! Highly recommend her classes!

Yelp
Got a Christmas gift card for this store, signed up for a foundation series cooking class for April and was so looking forward to it... But at last minute I was told that they canceled the whole classes due to lack of attendance. Then I signed up for individual classes but got sick and missed one class unfortunately. I was told that I could just pick up the kit ( a dough, salad) but no refund ( they say they have 72 hours cancellation policy which was not listed when I booked class originally.... I went in to meet Ann, although she was all smile, but handed me with day old kit ( class value $145) and that was it... I know I missed a class but did not do it on purpose- I paid for $145.. but both Ann and Don looked at me like yah too bad, you missed it not our fault, here's the kit take it or we will donate (a week old food? Really?!) no refund. They can cancel on what I signed up from the very beginning but if I as a customer missed a class then it's totally our own fault, no sympathy and good gesture to be welcomed back... Bad and unfair shopping experience. Won't recommend!

Yelp
My husband and I tried the Macron making class at Whisk. The pastry chef that led the class was very knowledgeable. Our macarons came out amazing. We left feeling we could definitely replicate the process at home! My only complaint is the sweet lady cleaning constantly at the sink. It was so hard to hear all the instructions with the lady using the high pressured water sprayer behind us. She was also cleaning our stove as we stood there prior to the class. My thought is that you could organize for all cleaning to take place prior to the class starting. Besides that- the class was a lot of fun!

Yelp
As Vegetarians, we chose a class that fit our dietary restrictions, a Mushroom Pasta, Kale Salad, and a doughnut for dessert. It wasn't until the class had gone on for a while that we found out that the pasta would be made with chicken stock and bullion. After it was over, I suggested to the chef that they make that distinction known on their site, but her answer was that I should have been to one to let them know my dietary restriction. Yes, that would have helped, but there were clearly meat meals and some non-meat meals on their menu and I think it is confusing. I left a comment at their web site and received no reply. Not to be too negative, but the chef was also pretty caustic and stressed our party out. Additionally, if you asked a question, she came over and completed your task so that there were things some of us never really got to practice in the class. Overall, it was a pretty poor experience for my wife and I to share with my mother for her birthday gift.

Yelp
My mom and I took the Truffle Gnocchi 3 Course Dinner together (photos attached). This was is the second class I've taken at Whisk. We showed up late, but the owners and Chef Sheldon Raju got us up to speed quickly. Everything is well organized so you're able to enjoy cooking. Will be back again!

Yelp
I had a great experience taking one of the cooking classes. The instructor was very knowledgeable and took time to answer questions.

Yelp
My son gifted me the French Bistro dinner and he and I took this class together. We're both pretty experienced in the kitchen ourselves but it was more about spending time together doing an activity. We did learn a few useful facts during the class but it was nice to cook recreationally with everything already prepared and with kitchen helpers cleaning up every dish along the way. If only it were like this at home! Recipes were delish and were easy for all levels to achieve. It was quite a large meal too, so really a great activity to do with someone special!

Yelp
My bf and I had a double date with our friends here and I would love to do this again! They have a variety of cuisine options so I'd like to try any of those next time. Our friends wanted to do Greek food, which is perfect since my bf and I just got back from Greece at the time so we were on a Greek high. The instructor was very clear about the instructions and his staff was very quick with cleaning up and assisting us with ingredients and steps. The finished product was this delicious yet healthy meal. My bf who never cooks did most of the cooking! They also sell kitchen products so we got their pre-seasoned cast iron grill and tongs. I really wanna go back for another cooking class and to buy more kitchen stuff! This would be a good date, mom-daughter, girls, or even whole family night idea!

Yelp
Recently did the fundamentals 4 week course and I loved it! Chef Drew was awesome and very helpful. The recipes we made were all written down so you could practice at home each week before returning for the next class. If you sign up for the fundamentals, they will put you with a partner if you don't have your own. It was nice getting to chat with many other folks and getting to connect on wanting to learn more. Definitely would recommend for someone wanting to learn proper cooking methods without attending school. Don't forget to show up hungry to class! You will eat and be served a drink each night if you do the fundamental course.

Yelp
We came to Whisk as a team building activity with some out of town folks. We had the absolute best time. Chef Jen was incredible and the owners were amazing as well. It was incredibly well executed and the food was excellent. I can't recommend Whisk enough for whatever event you are looking for, team building, date night, something new. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
WOW best cooking class I'll ever take. It may seem pricey, but every cent is worth it!!! This is THE MOST curated cooking class you're ever gonna take. Unlike other cooking classes, you never have to pair up with a stranger. Bonnie was our instructor for the pizza making class and she was so friendly, so knowledgeable and helpful, and she made the class super fun. The environment is super friendly, so you find yourself talking to other pairs/groups and making friends. They also serve you wine throughout the class which makes of so fun! The pizza turned out great and we had a ton to eat. Bonnie even offered us more dough to make pizzas to take home. Lastly, the store inside is also the cutest place on earth. If you like curated cooking shops for tools, seasonings, oils, gifts, etc. stop in! I could spend way too much money there

Yelp
Took my 4th class at Whisk today. It was amazing. Loved the short and spicy Italian teacher. She was wonderful. And my son devoured the homemade spaghetti leftovers

Yelp
I came here because they are one of a handful of stores that sell Simon Pierce glassware and decoration. Excellent supply, friendly employees and price equals catalog without having to pay for shipping.

Yelp
Super fun birthday idea- we went with friends and had a blast- food is delicious and the chef was friendly and approachable- can't wait to do another one! The store is also fun to shop in.

Yelp
I had such an enjoyable evening here. In a nutshell, the instructor was wonderful, food absolutely delicious, and facilities were topnotch and clean. I came here for a complimentary class through Yelp and had a blast. I think I might take another cooking class in the future. When I arrived, all the staff here was super friendly and attentive. I was welcomed at the door and escorted to get an apron with my name tag. Then I was given a space where I would be cooking for the evening. Everything was organized, clean and ready to go. Our instructor was very informative and I learned a bunch of tips along the way during the class. For tonight, we made pok pok style wings, papaya salad, and flank steak phad is ew. All the supplies were prepared in advanced and meats pre-marinated. It was as if I stepped into a Food Network tv show where I was learning to cook a new dish. I appreciated that everything was lightly prepped since we wouldn't have to waste time doing the simple stuff. The main cooking preparations were done by the students so we got to learn how to actually make the dish. We got to deep fry, season, and chop all the ingredients so it was rather interactive. I also appreciated that they provided instructions to replicate this meal at home. I think I got the gist of how to make these three dishes and with the help of the instructions, I feel confident that I can make it for my family! The staff here was great. They were friendly and nice. They stepped in to give tips when needed. They also helped with picking up dirty dishes/kitchen tools so our stations wouldn't get cluttered and messy. I've taken a cooking class a long time ago and I would say that this was one of the best experience I've ever had. I appreciated learning something new and also having the opportunity to enjoy what I made!

Yelp
These guys are not, messing around. They are, absolutely the best kind of home town cooks... I just love love love their classes and their kind presentation of basically simple ways of producing the most ridiculously fantastic dishes that you can duplicate in your own, kitchen, no problem. You can become a great chef in the eyes of your family.. and friends .. I just love them. Please do yourself a favor and if you are anywhere in the vicinity, take a class from them. Just do it. You will not, be dissapointed. I am a huge, huge fan!! Love from our house to yours. J

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic evening cooking a 3-course Thai meal! We were greeted with a glass of wine, which makes cooking so much more enjoyable! The Whisk setup is excellent - high quality stoves and cookware to work with... Chef Barbara was knowledgeable and helpful at every step of the process. There was also a solid team of assistants cleaning and organizing the whole time. The whole experience lasted almost 3 hours - I learned some valuable skills and had so much fun! And as a bonus, the food we cooked was stinking delicious. I cant wait to sign up again.

Yelp
This is a great place to learn how to cook and bake new treats. I have attended both an Asian cuisine style cooking class as well as a croissant making master class. The staff are very welcoming and are also very prepared for their guests. The store is located in Bellevue on main street and there is parking conveniently located in the parking lot at the back of the building. The classes themselves are around $90 but the quality and attention given by the chefs is really great and they make you feel very welcomed. As well as this there is a cute store with kitchen items that you can buy or browse before or after your classes. The classes do move very quickly so be prepared to come and take this seriously but if you want to have some fun you can do that too! I look forward to attending more classes here.

Yelp
I have always wanted to take a class at Whisk but never took the dive till I got the opportunity to take the Paella class thanks to Yelp!* Yesterday, we took the 6:30 pm Paella class taught by Yary who was such a lovable and fun character! She is originally from Basque so imparted us with some insight into the culture and flavors of that region of Spain. The owners Ana and Aaron were there prepping and supporting throughout the entire class. They were absolutely fantastic. They run an amazing, smooth, clean, well-taught, and fun operation here. Check in was super easy and as we waited for final prep to finish, the store presented a lot of opportunity to kill time looking at an amazing assortment of kitchen items. Books, cookware, silverware, platters, and all sorts of tools and appliances. Very tempting for the home cook. I didn't know we were cooking not just paella, but flan too! We were also offered fresh sangria, a very nice red blend, and/or a chardonnay to enjoy during the class. At the beginning, Yary provided us with 3 types of tapas that were delectable: tortilla espanola with seafood (Spanish quiche), grated tomato and garlic bruschetta, and patatas bravas with aioli. Fantastic! We were separated into groups of 4 to handle cooking. Each one had a packet of instructions on how to make each dish, but it was better to listen to Yary's instructions instead. First we made the flan. All ingredients are portioned out so you can just throw things in when needed. Vegetables are whole so you can practice chopping with their super high-end knives. Proteins like chicken, shrimp, and mussels were very fresh and high quality too. The mussels and clams were still alive! Though I admittedly didn't do that much cooking during the class (most of the time socialized and sipped wine happily while watching my team's meat master did most of the work lol), I learned a lot and had a lot of fun. After all the food was cooked, the Whisk team cleaned the cooking area and set out beautiful dinnerware and we all sat and enjoyed what we cooked. It was spectacular. Even better than any paella I had in Barcelona or US restaurants. We even got a mini whisk to take home. Super highly recommended! *full disclosure, I got to take the Paella class free through a Yelp Elite perk, but the class itself was by no means altered from what Whisk does normally. All opinions are honest and I believe very representative of Whisk as anyone would experience them.*

Nicole S.

Yelp
I was finally able to make it to a class and loved it! I brought my mother along for a mother daughter outing (highly recommend) to do the Paella class. Chef Drew was equal parts entertaining and a pro! We left confident we can recreate what we learned and enjoyed both the atmosphere and food. Make sure you grab some of the smoked paprika on your way out! #chefskiss

Yelp
"The savory paella mixta has been successfully demystified." This class successfully demonstrates how easy it is to conquer the ever tricky yet savory paella. Set your fears aside as the atmosphere is all about having fun and learning the tips and tricks all within the confines of Whisk's professional kitchen. Our class was taught by an expert instructor and provided a thorough walk-through on the tips and tricks of achieving a successful paella, flan, and asparagus with piquillo peppers. The class started with a brief introduction to Spanish tapas and sangria. We were served patatas bravas, crostini with tomatoes, and tortilla Española. We were divided into groups of 4 with the specific mission of cooking a Spanish meal as a team. I was delegated the task of being the Paellero (paella cook). I oversaw browning the meats while my teammates prepped and chopped the vegetables and chorizo. Our instructor made it a point to visit, chat, and share tips and tricks with each group. What made the instruction effective were the cooking techniques shown and top notch equipment. The gas stoves heated nicely, and the staff was always available to lend a hand. We didn't stop at just paella. We also made flan and asparagus with piquillo peppers. Sangria flowed freely and conversations and pictures were in abundance. Soon enough we were able to sit down and enjoy the fruits of our labor. We all received a miniature whisk as parting favors. Whisk also has a front facing store filled with kitchen gadgets and items. I immediately fell in love with an oval Mauviel copper pan. A few moments of pondering and learning about our 10% discount pushed me to splurge. I also purchased a container of copperbrill paste for my new pan. I recommend taking a class and also perusing through this store. This shop is a haven for anyone seeking kitchen gadgets, expert instructions, and sound cooking advise.

Yelp
Wow! What an absolutely delightful place. Spacious, clean, and well organized. Cooking classes are well organized, well paced, and reasonable priced. And they are FUN!!! Hope to take many more. Store front had some unique things. Housewares prices are a bit high, but other things are well priced. The olive oil they get from a small estate in California is to die for. Family owned and operated. The owners are present, friendly, helpful, and open. Love this place!!!

Yelp
I came here for the pizza cooking class with my grandma, mom, and two sisters. We had a BLAST! The class was so informative, and all of the pizza was delicious. I have taken cooking classes before and sometimes they feel like more work and waiting around for the food to be ready. Whisk has their classes perfected, there was no waiting around and it was fun at all times. They give you a very generous pour of wine and you make so much food that you will leave with leftovers. This is such a great activity to do with friends, family or your significant other. I cannot wait to try some of the other classes they offer.

Jerri L.

Yelp
Went for a cooking class with friends. Nice location, attractive store, good learning kitchen set up. Owners were not especially warm and welcoming. Class was fun but instructor was condescending and did not respond well to any questions being asked. Instructor did not come around enough at all to help ensure everyone's success. Could be great if they worked on their customer service skills.

Jean P.

Yelp
This is my absolute favorite cooking class and I've enjoyed a few amazing culinary experiences here with friends. So imagine my delight when I discovered that they offered cooking classes for teens! I signed up my 13 year old daughter and her friend for the week long teen Cake It Like You Mean It class this summer and it was AWESOME!! The kids made and brought home 3 different cakes throughout the course of the week and I don't know who enjoyed it more - my teen who learned a lot about proper baking techniques from Pastry Chef Tang or the rest of our family who devoured all of the delicious cakes!! The owners of Whisk, Ann and Don, are amazing and they have thought through every detail to make this a fun, memorable and educational class!! I am so glad we found this class for teens and can't wait to sign the kids up for more classes and camps at Whisk!

Yelp
Our family absolutely adores Whisk! We recently did the French and Pok Pok dinners and both were incredible. The Pok Pok chicken wings are my favorite dish I've ever made! Barbara is the best chef and teacher. She makes everyone feel at home. All of the staff is beyond kind and it is just a fun and conversational environment. You leave the class feeling full and like you're prepared to take the recipes home and conquer them in your own kitchen. From the beginning of the class you have the choice of red or white wine and you eat as you go with one final larger meal at the end. It is such a comfortable setting with an incredible kitchen supplies store in the front. We always end up purchasing a recipe book, new seasoning, or kitchen utensil and device at the end of our class. We are happy repeat customers!

Yelp
Took a cooking class at Whisk with my younger brother; instructor taught well with detailed information on techniques. Food was flavorful and instructor was open to questions and discussion. Class is pricier than Sur La Table, PCC and similar to Tom Douglas Hot stove society classes

Yelp
I have now been to about 6 classes now and I am still just as blown away with the quality of the class and amount of fun as the 1st time. Seriously this place is soo soo good! No Ann does not pay me to say these great things! It's just that great! This last class we made Black Cod ( never had before) you gotta try it - so buttery and delicious! We also made a butternut squash soup and a pumpkin pie cheese cake .. YUM!

Yelp
Came here last night for a cooking class and had the best time! Super fun, yet professional and informative. I really enjoyed the thorough instruction, the pace of the class and of course the wonderful delicious meal. A couple things to note: 1. Wear comfortable shoes, you'll be standing on hard floors for 2+ hours. 2. Check the website for parking instructions. It's free in the garage. 3. They serve wine and non-alcoholic beverages throughout class and had a cheese tray to snack on. For the class I attended everyone was in groups of 2. This was nice as I came with a friend. I liked how we had our own space to work and cook. I will definitely be returning for another class, now the tough part is deciding which one!

Yelp
We enjoyed this class immensely. The only drawback was, the couples weren't very lively and didn't interact much with each other but overall a very good class and will definitely go again

Yelp
Received a birthday present from my wife... A Cuban Cooking Class. What a great idea! The staff is amazing. The owners are amazing. The guest chef, Yary, was amazing. We were welcomed in with aprons and name tags. Immediately thereafter we could choose mojitos, red wine or white wine. I chose red. Wife chose mojitos. Then, empanadas, chorizo, cheeses and crackers were set out to enjoy, while we all sat down in pairs to begin our class. Every pair has their own 4-burner stove, grill, oven, and vent, as well as a brilliant prep space. The meal we made was a salad with watercress and avocado, grilled pineapple, pork tamales with a pork fricasse, and ending with an espresso flan... oh! And more wine. Very friendly. Very social. I made new friends and will return as often as I can- Or whenever they can fit me in the Thai Street Food class or the paella class. Mmmmm... Go. Go now!

Katie J.

Yelp
My mom and I had such a fabulous experience at Whisk. We opted to attend a Vietnamese street food class, where we learned some delicious new recipes and gained hands-on experience preparing them. We were each given our own materials to prepare the ingredients and cooked them ourselves on our own stovetop. It was fun to interact with the participants around us, and could easily reach the chef or an assistant with our questions at any time. Afterwards, we enjoyed looking through the shop and never felt pressured to make purchases-- though we personally chose to with so many quality/useful products available. The owners of this shop are very friendly and want to ensure you've had a good experience. We feel that the price was very reasonable for the experience received. Without question, we will be back for more.

Yelp
What a great place to learn something new. Great owners and that trickles down to the instructors. Lots of opportunities to prepare different foods. I'm a long tome cook, but continue to learn something new every time I meet with Ann and her staff. Including a great store front for fun things for the kitchen. Have never been disappointed. Its a great value and fun for date ight or team bonding.

Yelp
I did a cool pasta-making class here. The instructor was an actual restaurant chef who had studied pasta in Italy, and his expertise really came through with the plethora of tips and explanations he shared. Everything is well-prepared for you and the kitchen space is just fantastic. Class was well-paced and during breaks, there was minimal upselling by the staff which I appreciated (although the store is well worth a browsing if you are a serious culinary hobbyist). They weren't stingy with the wine and appetizers, or with the food portions. Final meal was filling and tasted amazing.

Yelp
I am taking the Fundamental 4 part cooking class with Chef Barbara. It is so much fun. Learning awesome new techniques and tricks. The venue is super cute and cozy (with free parking). The Chef is super nice and helpful. You get to eat what you cook and they give you snacks and wine! Couldn't get any better! Looking forward to taking more classes.

Yelp
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Came here for the pasta making cooking class and had the most memorable experience. Space is beautiful, Iola our teacher was very experienced and friendly, very hands on cooking experience, and I learned a lot. The portions were huge, so we had a great meal afterwards. And they provide light appetizers and wine! It might seem on the pricier side, but worth every penny.

Yelp
I attended a cooking class yesterday ar Whisk. I attended the ramen making class and it was so much fun. The chef was highly knowledgeable and was great at explaining the reasoning behind the cooking. He started the class with a quick history on ramen and I loved that because it adds a level of respect to the food you are cooking. The class was intimate-there was about 8 people in total. Each of us worked in pairs and had a work station. It was very well organized and the staff was on top of everything. They were very friendly. I will definitly be coming back here for cooking classes.

Jason A.

Yelp
Please note this review is more about the system used to make reservations, and BUYER BEWARE - you get NO notification or reminder of your upcoming class. I signed up before Christmas for a pasta making class on Feb 17th for me and my wife, and I completely forgot until getting a text from a random person 10 mins after the class started. I apologized and asked if there was any way to reschedule or even get on a wait list, but was told they "couldn't possibly reschedule all the no-shows". PRO TIP: If you have that many no-shows, how about using a reservation system that sends reminders BEFORE the event! You know, like ever restaurant in the country, every concert, dentist appointment, haircut, etc! Step into the 21st century please, or have a bit of flexibility for those who spend a lot of $$$ and can't make it. Will never support this business again.

Yelp
Chef Jen and the crew at Whisk created a safe place for us to learn to cook. We signed up for the Tex mex class and all the food we made was delicious! I learned a lot and had a ton of fun. Thank you Whisk for a wonderful experience. I will be back again.

Yelp
I love a good cooking class and Whisk definitely checks all of the boxes. We have taken two classes and look forward to more. The thing that puts Whisk ahead of the competition, in my mind, is how well hosted you feel throughout the experience. When we arrived, the shop owners greeted us warmly and helped us get settled, as if we were dinning in their home. Classes are relatively small and everyone has good workspace so it feels like a more intimate evening. Staff are fun and knowledgeable. The space is well designed and easy to use. Our hosts and the staff checked in regularly, throughout the evening, answering questions and making conversation. We had an amazing meal and headed home with a bag of leftovers and packet of recipes we are excited to add to our cooking rotation.

Yelp
My partner and I had a fantastic experience learning AND eating at Whisk! We came here to celebrate his birthday, and I couldn't have asked for a better cooking lesson! We learned how to make Dim Sum. The instructor was very professional. He weaved interesting origin stories in between the instructions and kept the experience light-hearted yet informative. The students had plenty of hands on cooking experience without the annoying dish washing or grocery shopping. Each station had perfectly portioned ingredients, washed and ready to be cooked. We made roughly 5 dishes overall. The best part? We got to reap what we sowed by blissfully enjoying our own makings with a glass of wine, plus plenty of extra to take home. We simply cannot wait to come back again to have our eyes and taste buds opened!

Yelp
This is by far one of my favorite girls night out! The recipes, the level of professionalism is 5 star. The commercial kitchen is spacious and yet it is laid out to both learn from the instructor and meet new people. I love how they teach you how to make a dish then you enjoy immediately. You do not need to wait til the end to eat what you have made.

Yelp
I love this place! I've taken 5 classes and plan to go back for more. First, the store and kitchen itself is like something out of a Nancy Meyers film with its impeccable and inviting aesthetic. Second, the food is delicious! The recipes are great and you get to take a copy of them so you can replicate them at home. Third, the instructors are wonderful! They're helpful, entertaining and every class I learn new tips. Finally, Ann and Don are the backbone to this operation ensuring your experience is always enjoyable. They are warm, helpful and really want their guests to have the best experience. Classes I've taken thus far: Street Food of Thailand Dumplings? Dumpling? Yelp
My kids gave me a gift certificate for a Whisk class and after considering the many and varied options I happily chose the Croissant class. What a fun afternoon! Pastry Chef Thanh Tang is a gifted instructor who made the steps seem simple and did a great job demonstrating techniques. The hands-on class was punctuated by frequent laughter and enhanced by the thoughtfully arranged classroom. We were standing for the entire class so if that would be a challenge for you be sure to give the store a call; they're very helpful. The last few years my family have been giving "experience" gifts at Christmas. I hope they continue the trend because I can't wait to take another class!

Yelp
So much fun! The bread making class was so informative and they even provided all the participants a bit of sour dough starter! Definitely recommend for friends, couples or even on your own. Everyone is so nice

Yelp
Love the classes and to shop the gourmet vinegars and oils which are just the best. The Fig Balsamic Vinegar is to die for.

Yelp
I purchased the croissant making course for my mother and I to take for her Mother's Day present. I was a little bit apprehensive about the price, but it was worth every penny. Parking was free underneath the Meyden building. It was a little bit confusing because there are signs that say you have to pay or that you only get 3 hours free. FYI This class was on a Saturday morning at 11 a.m. I didn't have to take a timed ticket to enter the garage. I parked in the clearly marked retail section. On our way into the building there was a kiosk where you could pay but I skipped it, and you should too. If you're there for retail purposes, you don't need a ticket or validation. The store is bright and well-appointed with lovely and fancy kitchen items. The staff greets you and checks you in quickly for your class. Everyone is very nice and friendly. There was a fruit platter and pound cake for snacks in case anyone got hungry throughout the two and a half hour class. You are escorted to your station, given an apron and a name tag. If you are there with an odd number of people, you'll have to be split up because each station is for two people and you work in pairs. Everything is pre-measured and laid out in front of you. They do an excellent job of cleaning up in between lessons and tasks. Our instructor, Thanh, was very friendly and upbeat. I learned a lot from him. For our particular course, we performed all of the steps out of order because it takes so long to make the dough. In fact, the dough that we baked was actually made over a month ago by a previous class. Regardless, we learned everything we needed to do, and every part was hands-on. We were also given a recipe booklet, which Thanh went over with us, in detail. At the end, we took home all of our croissants, approximately 4 of each flavor: ham and cheese, chocolate, and plain. I have to say that these were by far and away the best croissants I have ever had. After making them from scratch, I don't think I will ever buy them from a bakery or even frozen from Trader Joe's again. They are THAT good. Life changing. We had such a great time that we are already planning our next class. You also get a 15% off discount in the store on the day of your class. They have some very nice things, some of which you use during the class (which gives you the opportunity to road test the items before purchase). All in all, a class at Whisk makes for a lovely time!
