It’s a shame this favorite restaurant of mine will be closed for good after its last day of operation on August 31. I love the elegant yet casual ambience. The restaurant can be a bit noisy when it’s full but the high ceiling helps. We ordered a four-course lunch. With 25% membership discount and a $200 cash coupon, it amounts to about $330 per person, which is very reasonable for fine dining. Will certainly miss this lovely place!

If you are looking for a good place for the food, you found it. Their food is a bomb, the right amount of salt and the flavours are in harmony. Very different compare to other restaurants. As this is still a fine dining, I was expecting other guests to be more composed but the table next to me is too loud and the staffs didn’t do anything about it. But if you want to know, the restaurant is clean, it’s pretty, quite classy.

Delightful Lunch Experience ! The starter, appetizer, and dessert were all delicious and had unique textures. The main courses were good, just not as outstanding. The service and ambiance were excellent.

The 10-courses dinner is so fulfilling. The portion is good and the dressing makes everything interesting. The foie gras is cooked just-right. The place is spacious and quiet. This dinner worths its price.

I’m amazed that this restaurant doesn’t have a Michelin ⭐️ or even a mention. It truly embodies excellence. After experiencing over 30 Michelin-starred establishments, I can confidently say this one stands out. The lamb chops paired with the Moët were nothing short of delightful.

WHISK at The Mira Hong Kong delivered a truly exceptional dining experience. From the stylish and modern ambiance to the impeccable service and, of course, the innovative and beautifully presented cuisine, WHISK sets itself apart as a true culinary gem in Tsim Sha Tsui. We indulged in a multi-course tasting menu, and each dish was a masterpiece: Beef Short Ribs: The tender, slow-cooked short ribs were incredibly flavourful, complemented by a rich sauce and perfectly cooked vegetables. The lime added a touch of brightness, balancing the richness of the dish. Quail: The perfectly cooked quail was a delight, with crispy skin and succulent meat. The zucchini roll added a refreshing element, while the sauce provided a depth of flavour. Lobster: The grilled lobster was cooked to perfection, highlighting the natural sweetness of the seafood. The accompanying sauces and vegetables were a harmonious complement. House-baked Bread: The warm, freshly baked bread was a delightful accompaniment to the meal. Crab Tartlet with Caviar: This delicate tartlet was a burst of flavour, with the richness of the crab enhanced by the luxurious caviar. Chocolate Tart with Ice Cream: A decadent and satisfying dessert, with the rich chocolate tart perfectly balanced by the cool ice cream. Madeleines: These delicate, shell-shaped cookies were a perfect ending to our meal. WHISK is a true culinary destination. The chef's creativity and attention to detail are evident in every dish, creating a dining experience that is both innovative and refined. Highly recommend!

Google
Rather excellent overall. Not a big restaurant but with good ambience and attentive service. Food is excellent with seasonal promotion rock makes it affordable. The roasted yellow chicken is their mainstay which is slightly more expensive but a must try.

Google
A superb experience! We ordered an 8-course lunch. All dishes come with nice ingredients and refined presentation. The sommelier is very professional and treated the wines very well.

Yelp
Ps. I don't usually type that many words on reviews, you can tell how much I loved this restaurant @whisk.hk Great French Japanese Cuisine. We came here on a Tuesday night celebrating my friend's birthday. It was such an excellent dining experience! First thing I've got to say is the service here is above and beyond. From the head chef @willy_cuisinier, the staffs that took care of us, everyone was so nice and caring. The food was amazing too. We both ordered the ten courses from the omakase menu and the wine pairing. My favorite dishes are the Uni Lobster, Sakana and all the desserts!!! Basically every dish has the components I look for. And all the ingredients taste fresh. Plus the platings are gorgeous too every dish is so unique and creative. ------------------------------------ 1st course - Japanese Tomato 4/5 It's very refreshing starter. It comes with the granita and the jelly on the bottom. All of the flavors worked so well with the tomato. 2nd course - Caviar 4/5 Japanese Yam, marusho rice vinegar, Caviar. It was very nice indeed. Soft and delicate. 3rd course - Aubergine 4/5 Very beautiful presentation and it was tasty with the nori sauce. And it goes very well with the sake! 4th course - Sakana 5/5 The fish was cooked at its perfection, so soft and juicy with full of taste. One of the tastiest pieces of fish I had ever eaten. And the broth so good that you wanted to soak it up with anything available. 5th course - Japanese Sweet Onion 3/5 The sweet onion was good. The dumpling broth was light not too heavy and creamy. 6th course - Lobster (+$178 add Uni) 5/5 Add Uni is a MUST if you're an UNI fan like me!! Believe me it was worth every penny. The whole dish was very satisfying and mouth watering. So fresh. And it had perfect texture and delightful flavors. It's like an explosion in your mouth. Main courses - Guinea Fowl and Wagyu Beef A4 (+$228) 4/5 I really like the French chicken with the harissa sauce and grape jam. It was flavorful, juicy and tender. The subtle flavor of this dish is so comforting. And the Saga Wagyu beef was cooked on point and very juicy as well. Loved the nori as well. Both dishes paired very well with the Merlot. Dessert - Momo 5/5, Chocolate 5/5 , Miso 5/5 I can't even pick my favorite. I don't really like sweets but I loved all these. They were incredible and tasty. Momo, a peach dessert with candied hibiscus and roses. Sour and sweet. Great paired with the complimentary liqueur peach. Thank you! Chocolate, loved this magical pairing of three different types of matcha and chocolate. It's really pair well together, making for a slightly nutty, sweet, and bitter combo. Miso, White Chocolate Shiso Choux. I ate so many Choux cream puffs before. But this was so delicious! The filling for this Choux is to die for! Hahahaha Loved every dish and can't wait to come back here again!! Service (Excellent service) Ambience (the decor is beautiful, chic, modern, relaxing) Food (Incredible, delicious)

Yelp
I had a different experience from other yelp reviewers. My family and I came here for my mom's birthday and we were very much looking forward to the meal, given the enticing and nicely plated foods as well as good reviews. However once we were seated, the meal service went down hill. The restaurant offers a prix fixe menu and a la carte, however since we had different preferences and appetites, we opted for a la carte. We started with a raw seafood platter containing 1 lobster, a few pieces of sashimi and oyster which was around $100USD+. I got the feeling that the seafood came from the buffet counter below as it was not fresh. We also ordered other appetizers like crab appetizer and a salad but they were not memorable at all. For main course, we ordered a lamb, a whole duck which was prepared two ways - off the skin and a salad. Again for the price that we paid, it seemed that the food quality and taste did not match up. I was surprised that they just decided to toss the duck in a salad - how thoughtful. We paired the dinner with a nice bottle of pomerol wine, however the sommelier was busy so we couldn't really get a recommendation. Last but not least, the service was not precise and attentive, part of this was due to a big wine tasting course event which was happening in the main dining area - which meant that most servers were diverted to the tables for a la minute preparation. Overall, I thought the price tag attached to the food and service was not up to standards and would not go there again.

Yelp
From what I've seen so far, Whisk prides itself on trying new, unique and creative dishes that you won't see anywhere else. It's known for it's free-flowing alcohol Sunday brunch. And the brunch is a feast; besides the seafood themed buffet featuring cold cuts, smoked salmon, unlimited lobster, prawns, oysters from the south of France, and caviar, they also serve a three-course meal off of an ever-changing menu. An incredible food experience! Definitely come hungry and expect to not need to eat anything else the rest of the day. As you enter the restaurant you're greeted with a glass of champagne, or wine. Alcohol at this brunch is "free-flowing". meaning when you get up to grab more food, your drink will be filled by the time you return. And you can spend hours trying everything in the the dessert and cheese rooms. The best thing about Whisk, is that there's always some surprise for the guests. They've done all kinds of things over the years: I've witnessed them serve a giant chocolate stiletto for dessert. I've watched the head chef prepare the freshest sashimi I've ever had; I watched him prep and cut a tuna caught the day before (see photo). And I also witnessed them take slices of Wagyu beef and blowtorch them over a stone for a unique bringing-you-to-tears flavor(see video). It's unique experiences like this that keep me coming back. I'm excited to see what unique things Whisk chooses to do this coming year. Foodie alert: eating at Whisk is turning people with the mildest of pallets into foodies, one brunch at a time.

Yelp
The Bottom Line: A high quality experience in every respect that's worth every expensive penny. Try: French Chicken Crapaudine Mashed Potatoes Basket of Bread + Dipping Sauces 360 Lemon Tart Pro: The food was absolutely delicious. The French Chicken was flavorful and aromatic, juicy and tender, and easy to eat. The mashed potatoes were creamy, hot, and melted on the tongue. The tart was sweet and lemony, with a light, fluffy topping. But the service was better than the food. I arrived in jeans and a t-shirt, not quite knowing what to expect, but I was clearly underdressed. I was hungry, though, and the staff paid my attire no mind; they doted on me as I presume they did most other guests. Attentive and thorough, the host for the evening (Andy, I believe) even took a significant chunk of time to chat with me; I engaged him in conversation, and he enthusiastically responded. They even handled awkward situations well. I accidentally knocked over a glass of water at the beginning of the meal, and staff deftly, quietly, and quickly came over, cleaned the water off of the table, and reset it with nary a word and plenty of smiles. Con: The price. But it is very much worth it. Be ware, though... they charge for water, too, but if you're the type to eat at these places regularly, I suspect this isn't an issue.

Yelp
As expected, and hoped for after reading other strong reviews, Whisk delivered. Excellent service, great advice and wonderful food made for a memorable dining experience. After a long day of touring on foot, the ambiance was relaxing and modern. We were surprised to get a reservation at out preferred time of 8:30. Two in our party had the Weiner Schnitzel. It was larger than a dinner plate, fried in butter, and served with a salad, herbed potatoes and whole cranberry sauce. The crust on the veal was browned and tasty. The third member of our party had the dry-aged ribeye that was tender and flavorful. Our waiter picked a lovely wine to complement the veal. A breadbasket contained about 4 kinds of freshly made rolls and a cheese cracker. The bread was served with three kinds of flavored cream cheese. While expensive, the nice touches with the table setting, the decor, the reasonably attentive service, and the high quality of the meal made it well worth it. The three of us agreed that we would return should we find ourselves in the area again.
