If you want a dive bar this is your place. Great wings and cheap beer. What's not to like Cash only smoking bar. Friendly people. Hasn't changed and I hope it doesn't.

I'd like to start off by saying the wings are one of the best in Pennsylvania, hands down. That being said, the dress code that is enforced on the patrons is ridiculous. I can't comprehend how a dive bar, in SOUTH WILKES-BARRE, that has craters the size of the moon in their parking lot is requesting individuals to dress to a specific standard or they will demand that you leave. The location is one health code violation from closing, but they DEMAND you not wear anything but jeans. My rating is for ownership/management to recognize that this is a ridiculous rule and to care more about keeping staff/ensuring food is properly prepared.

Absolutely awesome wings! When I'm in the area I definitely make it a point to stop here. Get the hot honey, you won't be disappointed! Cheap beer and great servers. The place is located in a weird area and is kind of hard to find.

Worst bar I have ever been to and that’s out of states and home…I will never go there again…the people suck the bar tender is pushy and I sware to god I drank bacteria chunking in my drinks bc they don’t know how to clean glasses…if I could give it less I would…worst bar in the 10 states I’ve been in horrrible stay away…and to amend I just got done throwing up. First time in 15 years I sware to god…this bar is the worst I ever been to stay away

I don’t know what happened but their wings used to be the best in town. I went there yesterday and got 50 wings and there was barely no sauce in there and they were burnt and hard as a rock. What happened did they get a new cook?

WAAY better than The Leisure Tavern on Penn Ave and no drug activity Like Leisure Tavern where owner John Cole and a bunch of others were recently arrested and charged with drug trafficing and distribution. Told ya. Whiskey Business has Friendly employees barmaids decent bar food and prices but little shady part of town. But what isn't a shady part of town today?

Smoking bar with jukebox and great hamburgers/chicken wings and cocktails at very reasonable prices. Cash only - Recommend!

Great environment. I highly recommend the Drink called "Amy p*$$y " phenomenal.. also seafood night A+ every tue & thu.

Food is decent and certain bartenders are really great, but they charge you $2.50 each time you check your balance on the ATM. This is on top of a $2.25 fee to withdraw money from your account. I accidentally checked my balance twice and am now out an additional $5 -- within seconds. I understand that this is not directly the businesses fault, but I'm still pretty pissed.

So I lived in wb my whole life and I moved to tx for a few years and all I wanted was Charlie's wings. They closed With Covid and when I met my husband who is from india and then lived in Long Island for years I took him to whiskey for good wings and they proved me right. This place is a hole in the wall as people would call it and my husband was never in one before. It's his favorite place to go. Amazing sauces. A pool table, nice bartenders, and the best wings in wb. Also the bouncer looks mean but he is funny and sweet. Go here and support local businesses. Cash only

i've been here a couple times and it's pretty nice. the service is good, drinks are cheap. food takes a while to come out but it's good and cheap. last time i went though, the stromboli wasn't fully cooked and really doughy. i think it was a fluke though because it's typically pretty good.

they said they pay out on poker machine for 25 or more "when owner is there" then when you hit for 50 bucks they're like call the owner he says I don't know you don't know what your talikin about I'm from the area personally saw payouts from gambling take place but I guess when they don't feel like paying it's ok to renigg after they said they'll pay they will never get my business again

Not sure if this place got sold but it has gone way down hill. They still do have the best wing sauces in the area. Their wings now have become super hit and miss. By the way if you attempt to order something to go forget about it. They will eventually answer the phone only to set it down and then literally take it off the hook. They probably should stop pretending and just have a dine in option. Service has just drastically dropped off over the past couple of years and that's pretty disappointing this used to be the best wing and bar food place in the area.

Five star wings. They're so good, so crispy, so delicious! And if you go on Monday or Wednesday, so cheap! Half price wings, you can't beat 'em. Seafood night is pretty great, too. It seems a little suspect to go to seafood night in NEPA, but you can't really screw up shrimp and crab legs too bad. I even got adventurous and tried some steamed clams. Again, super cheap. If I'm not mistaken, smoking is allowed inside, so be prepared for that has you settle in for a dozen amazing wings. Also, this place is open literally every day (or at least 364 days a year).

I looooove this place! I'm not much of a wing fan although I will have one or two cause their mild sauce is outstanding! My favorite food is the chicken cheesesteak and an order of fries. Delish. The bartenders are super nice and they've really cleaned the place up since that jeep went through their kitchen. I was rather upset at that jerk cause the place was closed for like two years. This will always be my favorite go-to bar!

Horrible place don't waste your time wings were dried out and tasted like dog doody. They water down their beer and are overall nasty don't waste your time. The place stinks like smoke and the pizza is worse than the wings tasted like bad cardboard.

This is the definition of a perfect dive bar. It is dark. It is crowded (at times), it is cheap. It is great. From the outside it may not appear to the kind of bar you want to visit, it has a sort of coverted house look to it. When you step in you notice that the ceiling has a low overhang, but then once you sit down and drink a couple of beers and try their food you are blown away by how great it is. You almost need someone who has been there before to take you for your first visit, but after that you will be hooked and leading your own groups in. I also love how they decorate for the holidays. Before I finish I feel like I can not ignore their greatest acheivement...their wings are the best in Wilkes-Barre. They are the perfect heat and somehow both crispy and full of sauce, usually wings are one or the other, not here. Someone wrote it earlier, I am ruined on every other wing establishment because I was spoiled to have gotten so much blue cheese and celery here. You could drown a chicken in the generous amount of blue cheese they serve. So there it is, a great, unapologetic dive bar that serves great wings and cold beer.

Whiskey Business wings are delicious! I have enjoyed them many times and would suggest the Hot Honey sauce,very sweet and savory. The overall atmosphere is divey, but in the best way. There is always plenty of seating and overall it's a great bar to throw back a few brews with good pals. The only reason I am giving four stars is because smoking is allowed inside, and its never a great feeling leaving a bar smelling like an ashtray, especially for us nonsmokers.

Best wings I've had...ever. There are lots of sauces to choose from and they give you an abundant amount of celery and blue cheese. Probably 3-4 times the amount any normal restaurant gives! The wing special starts at 7pm every Monday and Wednesday. Get there early as to avoid waiting well over an hour for your food.

Went here for two years. Never a problem. New bouncer threatens to kill people and owners daughter who is a new bartender is rude and steals your money. Spoke up about it and was told to leave by owner and told if I didn't he would come remove me. Very petty and rude, I left without trouble. I have no problem spending my money elsewhere!

Wing night Monday and Wednesday. 12 wings and a pitcher of yuengling for 9 bucks. Can't go wrong there!

Apparently reopening soon. As legendary for their wings as for their disdain for non-white customers. Bartenders were instructed to charge African-American customers more for their drinks and -- legend has it -- even Stevie Wonder songs were quickly skipped on the jukebox.

Love their wings!!! Seafood special on thursdays.. Love happy hour!! 5-7 thursdays!!!

Great food great service great atmosphere thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the wings they were perfect I had a steak sandwich was amazing. Definitely a hidden oasis

Wings are very good. Probably some of the best around. Have been going for the past 3 or 4 weeks but they stopped letting me in. They now won't take out of state IDs even if they scan are 100% authentic. Really weird if you ask me.. haven't heard of any other places doing this. Definitely a turn off. NOT cool.

Great wings & cheap drinks. Sweet potato fries are delicious!! :-) My only complaint is the smoking. As a nonsmoker, I don't like leaving a bar smelling like an ashtray until my next shower.

Dive bar? Yes. Worth a stop? Hell yes. Great food, nice staff, VERY affordable. I highly recommend.

The wings are amazing at this place. I have wings all over the United States and this place is the best. The prices are good. It is definitely a dated place but it is great dive bar. Will keeping going back.

The epitome of what a dive bar should be. Awesome drink specials and great wings make it the perfect place to spend a wednesday night

The wings are indeed crispy. The hot wings didn't have much heat to them. The Jamaican Jerk wings had too much cinnamon. The place is incredibly smokey, and the music is far too loud for the size of the space. I was there on a slow evening and it still took half an hour for my wings order to come out. I suspect they like to make you wait so that you'll buy more drinks while you're waiting for your food! Bottom line, place is alright.

Best wings in town and great prices on drinks. For people who love dive bars this is the place to be especially for football season !!!

Worst service ever. I ordered mozzarella sticks as appetizers and dozen of wings. Got all my food at once, and on top of it the wings sucked. The sauce was seriously ketchup. The dumb blond behind the bar had no idea what she was doing and couldn't handle 8 people at the bar. I asked her if it was wing night (Wednesday) she told me no just Mondays so I had to pay full price. And wouldn't refund my money back.. Never coming back to this place again
